Recently found this place. The guys here are great. I rented some stuff from them that I only need for a few hours, between moving in and work, I forgot to take it back. They were so kind with me in dealing with it. Called me, I explained and the were just bring it in and its ok.. really like this place. I will go back fir sure..thanks guys..

Lindsey Rentals employees were consending and rude.. Lindsey Rentals charged me $40 for gas even after I filled the truck up. Offered me no reciept for their fill up. Not a trustworthy place of business. Wont be using their services again.

I called Lindsey rentals this morning to rent a lawn mower for this afternoonPaid for the rental was told that they would drop it off this afternoon and also they will call me ahead of time when they were on the way.It is now 5:30 in the evening, and still a no-show. I will definitely be calling them tomorrow.

For years, every time Ive needed equipment, or a moving truck, these people have been my go-to. My first call. Post hole augers, box truck, ladders, mowers, they have never failed to provide what I needed, when I needed it, and at a better than reasonable rate. FANTASTIC service, great people.

I have been renting tools and equipment in Columbia for nearly 20 years. The guys and gals at Lindsey Rental are friendly helpful and all around great folks. I would recommend Lindsey over any other rental company in town. Hands down.

Rented a small machine to dig some pipe up. It was 19 degrees and the mud was frozen on the tracks. When we arrived we were told to try to rinse it off so we did. The water was freezing and it very slowly got most of the mud off. After 20 mins we stopped and took it back. They charged me $75 for a cleaning fee.It wasn’t like we dropped it off dirty, with the weather it was impossible to clean. Maybe they should have a heated power washer for times like this. Instead they hammer you with a large cleaning fee.Never going back again.

I moved to Columbia in 1991 and have been renting equipment and other items from Lindseys from the start. Every year they service my lawn mowers and have always done an excellent job. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and always ready with a recommendation when Im unsure what I need. The only downside is missing Sherman Brown. What a wonderful man. Five stars for sure!

The employees have always taken the time to explain and answer questions. Upon return they are there to get the equipment back from you. A person would be a fool to go anywhere else. I have been doing business with them since the 80s. Umber 1in my book.

Friendly, helpful, accommodating, and honest! I dont know if its always true, but they were cheaper than Uhaul. They also offer a WIDE range of equipment to rent/buy. They will be my go-to the next time I need to rent a moving truck!

Great service and great price. Rented a Subaru 2000W generator here for tailgating a mizzou game. Picked it up Saturday morning and returned it monday morning for a great price, under $80.Until I save up and but one myself, Ill be visiting here any time I tailgate.

Rented a 22 ft Penske truck through them for a move to San Diego. It didnt have working lights, no cabin light, no AC, poor brakes, top had hole causing rain to wet furniture inside. Just got taken !!! So you be carefull when you deal with these rednecks !!!! May god bless you

Sherm can be cranky, but if youre cranky right back, all is well. Good staff, equipment works well and they stand behind their products. The only rental place I use. Their prices beat the competition on everything Ive ever rented, and thats a lot of stuff.

Weve been renting chairs at lindsey everytime we have party and staffs are always friendly and nice. But, yesterday I was very sad and disappointed because one girl there who talked to me wasnt very nice and friendly.

These guys are great. The equipment I needed was cheaper here than their competition, and when I came to rent it they actually suggested I come back a couple hours later so that I could keep it through the weekend for the same price.

Friendly staff, they go out of the way to make sure everything is right. They even deliver heavy equipment, which is great for guys like me that need to grade a yard but dont have a truck big enough to tow a bobcat.

Great service, but was given a broken auger bit over a weekend. Closed on Sundays, so that made it difficult to have addressed.

AS far as I am concerned Lindsey rental is the only place in Columbia to rent from.Their costumer service is top notch and they are very understanding and willing to work with you.I have lived in Columbia Mo. my whole life and own a small business,I have used Lindsey rental many times and tell everyone Lindsey is the place to go if u want to rent. 10 plus rating

Needed a part for my mower, but did not have the specific model number required for identification. Service took the time to show me where to look on the mower. When I returned they had the part on hand and offered additional advice on installation.
