I went in to get highlights and a haircut yesterday. Bekka was awesome and friendly, and did a great job on my hair. Unfortunately, my hair doesn’t do well with highlights and I couldn’t tell until this morning that there was still some orange/brass hints in my hair. Not exactly what I was going for.I called and set an appointment to do another round of toner, but once the manager checked my hair she said I needed another set of foils. Nicolette fit me into her schedule to get me all taken care of. I highly recommend this salon, they are amazing, kind, and go out of their way to make sure you’re leaving extremely happy. I will forever be a client here.

I am absolutely satisfied! My hair was such a mess and Kristy made it look like I never made a catastrophe of it. The color is exactly what I was trying to describe even though I didnt do a great job of explaining it. The cut is spectacular and finally my lengths flow the way they should. Id give this 5 stars twice if I could....

The overall experience was lovely. The Salon was clean, modern, and comfortable. I got Mani and peti and was very happy with the results. I can not remember the name of the lady that helped me, but she was kind, polite, and made me feel welcome. All the staff were attentive and friendly. My nails turned out perfect. Highly recommend

Stylist was great. No complaints there. However the front desk could not find my appt. Had my information wrong. Was not helpful until a cancellation occurred as we were leaving. But again, the stylist was great.

Tracye did a wonderful job on my daughter’s hair. We were extremely satisfied with the service. She is the best in Colorado Springs.

Danielle is absolutely amazing! She took the time to make sure that she knew exactly what I wanted done with my hair and she hit the nail on the head. It came out beautifully and I am thrilled! The salon was clean the entire staff was kind and welcoming.

I highly recommend Lisa, the nail tech. I have had 2 pedicures with her and she is wonderful. Very friendly and pleasant. She is gentle and does a great job. I typically have an issue with an ingrown toe nail and she maintains it so I have no ongoing issues with it. Also get the paraffin wax - it is wonderful!

Tracy Hawkins is hands down the best hair stylist Ive ever had. I have incredibly thick hair that intimidates most stylists. Tracy always does such a good job, gives me exactly what I want in terms of cuts, styling and smoothing treatments. I am so lucky to have found her!! The fact that she is the nicest, most genuine person is the cherry on top. I cant recommend Tracy enough!!

I’m so happy with my cut and color by Danielle at their University Village location! I went in today and was met with warm and friendly service. She was thorough in asking what I wanted for my color and very knowledgeable about the process. I also brought in my two teen daughters for haircuts and both Becca and Courtney were friendly, efficient, and careful to tend to their needs! So happy to find a new local salon! Thank you!

I’ve been here a few times and it’s really hit or miss on service, this includes the front desk and making appointments. For example I took off of work today for an appointment and found out my stylist is on vacation. They’re always running late but they rush you out the door for the next appointment. The skill of the stylist don’t match the price they charge. I had one that acted like a complete diva and that I was inconveniencing her. I’ve tried to get advice on the type of haircut that was best for me but they’re not interested in offering any type of consult they just want to see pictures. Frankly I get just as good a product and service from a walk in place, which is where I’m headed now.

I have been coming here for a couple of years now to see Tracy. She is absolutely lovely to be around and does the best job with my fine hair! Also wanted to speak to Vedas excellent operation during Covid. Everything is sanitized and capacity is limited. Thanks to everyone here for a great experience every time!

I have been going to Alexzandra for my skin and body treatments for a few years now. There is no one I trust more with my sacred body as it is truly a temple. She creates such a safe environment and an enjoyable experience. She is highly intuitive and also very knowledgeable in her field. If you are in need of body work or facial treatments, I recommend her highly.

I have Been to Veda before to have my hair colored by Melea, she was absolutely amazing! I loved her and her work very much!I was referred to Kristen for a short haircut and it turned out horrible. I showed pictures of what I wanted specifically and it was on trend and super cute. Unfortunately, my hair was cut into a very ugly bob that is super inverted. The razor cut was a great idea by Kristen, until she kept cutting and cutting. It continued to get shorter and thinner. I now have a haircut I absolutely hate that is about 3 inches shorter than what I wanted. I also explained that I am someone who likes a beachy texture and that’s how I style my hair daily, she proceeded to blow out and style my hair sleek.All around I didn’t have a bad personality experience, just a bad haircut that makes me look much older than I am.

I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. My hairstylist is awesome and sweet. She listened to how I wanted my hair cut and was able to cut it like I like it! I love Veda!

Ive been seeing Danielle W. for about a year and a half. She is by far the best stylist I have had across seven states and 35+ years. :)She has a great understanding of what I like and also styles and looks that I hadnt considered before. I trust her completely.Danielle is incredibly personable and I always look forward to seeing her every few weeks. I even decided to split my cut and color appointments to see her more!The front desk is incredibly hospitality focused and even at 8am on a Saturday they are genuinely happy to be there and welcome me with their always warming tea.

I had made a mistake by not calling ahead of time to see if COVID had influenced their daily operations BUT they were very nice, accommodating, and were able to fit me in that day! (Granted, I came in for their free bang trimming but I know they can get busy!) I usually go to their Southgate location but I may have to change after this...

This morning was my first time at this salon and I couldn’t be happier! Rebekah gave me a highlight and a cut/layers to freshen up the ends and it looks incredible! Nice place had some great people and some not so great.Edit to reply to Veda replying they would like to talk to me more.... I did talk to you already.....Google asked for my review.I use to go here for years, and had my go to person go out for medical reasons and went with a level 4 that was recommended for me, she destroyed my hair. I was getting roots retouched and she fried my hair, it broke off in chunks and I was so embarrassed to be seen for a long time. I spoke to Veda, they tried to say thats what I get for going blonde, then after a third conversation with the manager she came back and offered a free condition treatment and some hair style/make done before an event thing I have never used. I was simply asking for a refund and they refused even tho they saw how horrible my hair was.I gave them a second chance a couple years later after I had hair again and went in to have my hair trimmed because I was trying to grow it back out. She took off over 3 and tried to tell me she did it because it looked better than a trim would. That I looked better with short hair....... I asked for a trim no more than 1/2 an inch. Yes I was specific.Didnt bother talking to the manager because I have no desire to have them do my makeup and a condition treatment wont give me my hair back and already know they dont give refunds. Not to me anyway, they do for others though.I feel like I was being generous with 4 stars because of the good people I have seen in the past.But if you have a bad experience theyll do your make up and condition your hair maybe.

Update - in all fairness, a manager called me very promptly after I wrote this review to apologize and offer to rebook me. So at least they get an A+ in responsiveness. Unfortunately they just caught me on a bad day, I was really looking forward to getting my hair done today to turn my day around, so that was a real letdown. Wish they would have been a little more proactive vs. reactive, but it is what it is.I had such a high opinion of this place until today. I showed up for my 5:30 appointment (after racing from work to ensure I wasn’t late), checked in, and sat in the lobby for 10 minutes, only for the receptionist (who was very sweet and apologetic) to come up to me and say “I’m so sorry, your hairdresser went home sick, my manager said she tried to contact you and couldn’t get ahold of you.” While I completely understand that life happens and people get sick, I am so disappointed in the lack of customer service I received. One phone call. No voice mail. That was the sincere effort made to get in touch with me in the middle of a business day. And there was absolutely no offer to make it right. No “we were able to squeeze you in with another gal” or “I’m so sorry, we can see you tomorrow at __ and offer you a discount for the inconvenience and waste of your time”. Suffice it to say, I expected more from this kind of establishment, and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Alex is the best massage therapist I have ever worked with. I have been a physical therapist for 25 years, and have never experienced this level of care and expertise. I live in Peyton and often work in Denver and still won’t go to anyone else. As an extra treat or as part of your routine wellness, a massage or facial with Alex is worth every penny!

Danielle is my favorite stylist! She has always cut my hair to perfection! I tell her what I have in mind, and she has always gone above and beyond my expectations. I absolutely love the atmosphere at Veda salon I had a wonderful first time experience this last week. Jordan Lane was my hair stylist and she was amazing, gave great advice on what’s best for my hair, she took the time to Listen as well. I asked her Which products she recommended and she didn’t not try to sell me the most expensive thing instead Jordan used her experience and sold me products based on my hair type. She taught me how to style my hair with new tools and for the first time ever I feel confident in fixing my own hair!This experience was worth every penny I spent and I highly recommend going to Veda salon at university village and definitely ask for Jordan Lane !!

I went for a massage two weeks ago mainly to help with the aches and pains that I create for myself at the gym however it also helps with my overall well being from my day-to-day life. I can honestly say that every time I have had a massage by Clarissa it has been exceptional. The right balance between alleviating my muscular pain and perfect bliss. The Spa itself is very clean and tidy and the staff are all so welcoming, friendly and professional. Clarissa spends the right amount of time on ascertaining the degree of soreness and the level or pressure of the massage for the best results so I can only describe the service as outstanding. I have had other massages from other places. At this point I can totally recommend Clarissa I have never had a bad experience recently I had knee surgery and the level or effort and care that she showed making sure I was comfortable from the time I walked in the door can only be described as phenomenal STAFF are at VEDA !!!!

Let’s see, I simply go here because the stylist I have is amazing! Her name is Danielle and I never want anyone else to touch my hair. She’s also hilarious which is an added bonus so it’s not an awkward experience each and every time. She also didn’t judge me for showing her photos of a cartoon characters hair that I wanted AND she cut my hair in the exact same way. So many bonus points. I refuse to go anywhere else because of her!

Alexz always does such a great job with my Brazilian wax! I missed coming to see her so much during the quarantine. This one was a little more intense since it had been a while, but she does fabulous work, I cant recommend her enough! I also appreciated that for this visit, safety precautions were in place and being followed. I am so glad you are gradually reopening and that Alexz is back :)

Tracy is amazing. She has that rare artistic ability to know how to make you look good. Went in for a professional a-line bob trim and shape...my hair is damaged due to blonding process and HAZEL took excellent care of it all! Protein, moisturizing treatment left my hair feeling and looking 10x better, washed, cut and styled my hair so all I had to do was return to work. She explained clearly every process and the why behind it, which i was impressed with. I thoroughly enjoyed my whole experience at Veda.Everyone there was very professional but still personable. Purchased the Brilliant damage control spray...made all the difference when styling at home. Highly recommend taking a little time for yourself now and then at Veda Salon & Spa.

Ive been a Veda client at the University Village location for many years and I just have to take a moment to gush about how happy I STILL am with my nail technician, Lisa. Not only is she very skilled, shes also the kindest person - a quality that is so important but often overlooked. Ive been getting gel manicures and pedicures from her regularly and have never had anything less than a perfect experience!! Shes a treasure!

Saw Tracye Hawkins for cut and style - it was easily the best experience I have had with getting my hair done in years! I have curly hair so it is hard to find someone who knows what to do with it. She was so knowledgeable, clearly knew exactly what to do and how to do it, was efficient, it turned out great, and she was absolutely delightful to talk to. I tend to on review when Ive had a bad experience or a brilliant experience, this experience was beyond brilliant. I want to shout out to all people with curly hair in COS go see Tracye! If I could give more than five stars I would.

2 years ago I moved from L.A. - a place some would consider the mecca for premier salons. I desperately needed a new style and color to fit my new life in Colorado. After a few negative experiences throughout the area I landed at Veda. Instantly, I knew they had their stuff together. I was welcomed with professionalism and compassion. The first interaction was with the front desk girls- theyre not even stylists (although they were suuper knowledgeable) and they truly had an interest in my motives. I was presented with delicious Comforting Tea and tasty fruit water, for FREE. I would have paid for the cup it was so good (I now purchase my tea, through my salon -crazy!). It appears the vast majority of their stylists are very educated and experienced which is hard to come-by at the rent-a-chair salons thrown across the city. Ive had great experiences with a few of their stylists. I havent scheduled with a specific stylist since I started coming here. My schedule is random and it has been so comforting knowing I can take the earliest opening and be satisfied with the results. I felt the need to express my gratitude. Ive been coming here for 2 years but never left a review. Well, now I have. Thank you for always having an interest, in my interests - it truly is rare.

Horrible massage experience with Alex. I had a swedish massage scheduled for my birthday and it was awful. It did not feel like she was trying at all and she cut it 20 whole minutes short. Not to mention she didnt even do the Swedish massage. I love Veda and reccomend going there, but do not have Alex do your massage.

Ive been to Veda twice now, once to get my bangs cut (came out EXACTLY how I wanted) and again to my hair done for my wedding. Alyssa did SO great on my braided updo my hair looked gorgeous and I got plenty of compliments. Everyone is super friendly and helpful I dont think Ill ever have to go to a different place to get my hair done.

Best experience ever! I had a keratin treatment done couple weeks ago in a different salon.And Katelyn shampooed, blow dried & flat ironed my hair. It looked better then when I got my keratin done lol. She is awesome super layed back, works very quickly ,you guys should really think about bringing keratin products to your salon. All the ladies will love it !!! I will be coming back;

While Veda always has a nice and professional atmosphere, it seems that every time I go in and give my stylist a simple task they take matters into their own hands and hack away at my hair, doing whatever style that remotely reflects whatever I actually ask for, which is usually a simple trim or cut. When I ask to have my hair cut above my shoulders, I dont mean that I want an ungodly choppy A-line Bob from a stylist who I was told was a level 4 and then I can read on her business cards that she is a level 3..... Not worth the time or money to have someone just do whatever they please with my hair

I had my hair cut by Jessica today, and had a wonderful experience! I was pretty vague in my needs and ask her input and she was very thoughtful and incorporated all my requests in her suggestions. I am very pleased with my new do, and to top it all off she was very pleasant to talk to. Ill definitely be going back.

I say I saw the look I wanted... not sure how... but she gets me to that level. I walk out feeling my best self. I hate when stylists cant blow dry my hair the way I prefer but she nails it every time. HER PRODUCTS ARE ON POINT FOLKS! The ladies at the front are gorgeous and giving. They make sure youre taken care of. Please take the advice of a woman thats lived in Europe almost her entire adult life... this spa is the real thing. In a lot of reviews people take time to only record the bad. But this spa is worth the praise. Ask for Jenna.. Thank you for reading. :)

One of the worst places to go for customer service... My future wife had her hair dyed 2 weeks before our wedding to have it look the same in a week and a half, go back in to have them redo it and was promptly told that it still looks good, they tried to charge us just for going in... avoiding this place at all costs and letting everyone else I know to do the same. If you want your hair to look amazing go somewhere else that does it right the first time.

WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I have absolutely never had such a bad experience. It looks like a 2 year old cut my hair. The color is NOT what I asked for, nor would it be flattering on any human being with taste. They better offer to fix it AND give me my money back when I call in the morning. They should train their stylists. This is unacceptable for a $175 cut and colour. Its even unacceptable for a $20 cut and colour. Dont go here.

I have been seeing Alexzandra (Zandy) for deep tissue massage for several months now. She is incredibly gifted. She does amazing bodywork and if you need deep tissue work, she is your gal! She is also a very kind soul with a beautiful energy which I find healing. You will not be disappointed!

Ive been to this location four different times now, the first three times were fantastic, unfortunately, this last time has ruined my entire experience for Veda. Long story short, I went in with very long, dark hair, going for a major change to short, bright purple (and thats what I paid for). I went home that day after 4 hours with a horribly uneven cut and my hair was RED... Lauren (the one who did my hair) said she could do the cut in her sleep and that she has done the purple before... Clearly not! She rescheduled to fix it the following Monday... So I had to go the entire week with something I didnt even want... And I paid for it! Came back this Monday to get it fixed and it still looks NOTHING like how I wanted. I originally planned to have a different Veda stylist fix it (because why would I want the same person who messed it up, try to fix it?) But they would not let me. Veda you have let me down...

I have a different stylist every time I come here because I tend to schedule appointments on the fly. However, I have always had good experiences with all the stylists Ive seen. The stylists are punctual, careful, attentive, and friendly, and the cost of a layered trim is great for the quality.

I have been Ellen Reginas client for over 6 years. I moved here from Los Angeles where I was used to the best of the best in the industry. I was nervous about a cut & color in Colorado Springs. Ellen proved me wrong, nothing to be nervous about, she is AMAZING. I keep going back, and have referred others to her. Shes great with color & highlights. I give her free reign to give me advice on hair styles, color, etc. She ALWAYS nails it. I love my most recent cut. She has a stellar personality, friendly, spirited, and has talked me into purchasing some of the best Aveda products. I love you Ellen! You always seem to make me look beautiful.

Hannah cut and styled my hair and did a GREAT job. She listened to what I wanted and gave me a low maintenance, but cute and pretty haircut. Highly recommend!

Why are Vedas so shady?I use to go to the one by the Broadmoor, however they gave me services I didnt ask for and then charged me without telling me. Now this one pulling the same thing!I called to schedule a dermablade facial and hair cut, at that time I asked how much each would cost and was told the haircut was going to be $65 and the facial was $125. Well when Im checking out, the price seems a bit higher than I was told, so before I walk out, I request a receipt (because they didnt offer me one). And sure enough, the cut is $5 more, and theres an additional $25 charge for some treatment I received during my facial that the esthetician didnt tell me would cost extra. Although Christy and Elaxz both did an amazing job, Im very disappointed with how I was charged so unethically.UPDATE- Veda did reach out to me promptly after I posted my review. They apologized and offered to send a check or a store credit for the extra services I received, which is why I changed my rating from a 2 to a 3.

Unfortunately I’ve given Veda two chances and they have disappointed both times. My first cut turned out way too short and Pam spent a total of 10 cutting my hair and did not listen to what I wanted. Jump to 3 months later I went in and saw Melea. She is a very nice person and I had high hopes. I wanted a lob, with minimal length taken off the front. I now have a short bob with tons of short layers, honestly I’m embarrassed on how it turned out. So here’s to hoping it grows out fast!

Just moved to Colorado Springs and fortunate to find such a great salon! My husband got a massage while I got a haircut and everyone was super nice, the spa was lovely, and Tracy gave me a great haircut! I will definitely go back!

I have been coming here for years and I love my stylist Sierra. She is so accommodating and always does the best to recommend what would suit my style, my skin tone and most importantly what would keep my hair healthy. Great service and fantastic work A++, definitely my go-to.

I had purchased some shampoo and conditioner from this location and I was not happy with the results. I read the reciept and it said they will do an exchange/return or store credit if you suffer from an allergic reaction, which was not the case for me. I brought the bottles back nearly full and asked if I could exchange them and they said even though its not their policy theyd be happy to. An excellent example of going the extra mile to make the customer happy. I ended up buying products that cost twice as much, so its a win for them too. Thank you ladies, from me and my hair!

I first went here because I wanted a brand new hairstyle. It was spur of the moment, and they had an appointment open that day with Bobby. I was nervous because I wanted bangs and hadnt had them before, but he did a wonderful job! He was super nice and gave me a good idea of what it would look like, and he did great.However, I went back for my complimentary bang trim about a month after, and they had me in with Ashley. I showed her a picture of what my bangs looked like when I had first got them cut, and she butchered them. She barely glanced at the photo before chopping my bangs above my brows (I look a bit like a prepubescent 12 year old boy now). Ive had to pin my bangs back until I can get them to grow to the length they should have been. Bobby had styled them very well, but she took all the style out of them and simply cut them straight across.Id give Bobby 5 stars, and Ashley maybe 1.

I like to try and treat myself at least once a month to a massage. Tricia was the most amazing therapist that I have ever found and I only want to see her going forward. She is so warm and welcoming and you can tell she is very knowledgeable and asks what you need and then makes you feel wonderful!

I’ve gone to multiple Veda locations and stylists in Colorado Springs. I just went to Tracy W. for my third time and will not be returning. My appointment was at 3:30 for a highlight and color. I told the stylist how I wanted my hair cut and that I wanted more blonde and that we could put in some of my natural color for dimension for every two or so blonde highlights. Tracy returned with color mixed and said she was going to do my hair differently than last time cause “she doesn’t know what she was thinking and didn’t like how my hair was colored last time” (thanks? 🙄) . I did have blonde put in but a lot more of my natural and it looks chunky and streakier than I imagined - which is similar to how my hair looked from last time. Not to mention, while my hair was processing I sat for 45-50 minutes while she cut someone else’s hair. I then had to get my hair washed by the receptionist up front so I could make it out by 5:50 to pick up my daughter before daycare closed. When I was finally shampooed and returned for my hair cut, Tracy couldn’t even remember if I wanted a cut or how I wanted it when I told her at the beginning of my appt. I paid over $200 with tip for a so so color and spending almost 2.5 hours there! I expected them to do something to accommodate the time I sat there and how I was shuffled around (maybe don’t charge me for the deep conditioning?) but I paid more than I ever have. So upset!

I love Angela at Veda Salon in Southgate! She always does such a good job on my moms nails, so I went yesterday (Feb 22) and had a manicure/pedicure. It was so relaxing. Angela is very personable and I enjoy her stories. Shes very sweet and excellent at her job.

Yolanda is the best esthetician I’ve ever worked with. She is friendly, thoughtful, reliable and consistent.

Tiffany was amazing! Very detail oriented.

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Can get Aveda products here and try out cosmetics before you buy. Not sure about quality of svcs as I just ran in.
