Sooooo. Ive been coming here for YEARS and slowly the quality has declined. I got my nails done monday and by friday my nails were peeling the color. I went back in and they repolished my nails and now its monday night and theyre peeled off again. Not happy and WILL NOT be returning. I spent $45 for a $25 job.

The guy who did my nails was nice to talk to, but the work he did was really poorly done. The polish was splotchy, didn’t cover the whole nail, the shape was nice but inconsistent on every single finger, and the texture of the nails were not smooth. I said it was fine, because I am not confrontational but after stepping out of the salon as soon as I got into the car my ring finger nail chipped. When I went back in to tell him that it honestly just wasn’t done well he got really aggressive and loud. He said “you’re the only person who has had a problem with me in 10 months” I explained that I did not have a problem with him at all, it just looked unprofessional and I was unhappy with the work. I asked him to remove the nails and I would just take a refund, after a few more rude comments he did just that, with a bunch of attitude. Honestly, my 5 year old niece could have done a better job and I was just trying to be polite. This place was cheaper than most in Colorado but you pay for what you get! I would absolutely not return and would not suggest to others. But that’s just my opinion and encounter.

I did have to wait an hour. I called before coming in and they said they had something available but when I arrived I had to wait an hour, but the customer service was amazing and my nails 💅 came out fabulous! Almost worth the way.

This place is overpriced and the staff is unprofessional. This is what my nails look like just three days after having them done. The time before was worse than this, I am totally done with this place. I tried to support a neighborhood business but I will return back to citadel nails as i did before the service and quality is better there. The owner and workers choose who their nice to and the prices are never consistent . Please dont make the mistake of presenting a Gift card they WILL give you hard time about redeeming it well before the expiration date. My son gets me gift cards on every holiday and the employees are very rude and confrontational when its time to cash in. This business needs to do better in customer service and quality.

I never get my nails done, but my sister was in town for the week so she took my daughter and I. I didn’t mind the place, it’s a hole in the wall and a couple of the people were actually very talkative and nice but the woman I got was older, quiet and a bit rough. Every time she hurt me I would say “ouch” but she’d kind of continue the same way. When she cut the side of my nail she said it was a hangnail, but I’ve never had any issues with my toes, she was tugging and pulling away some skin and pulled too hard on a piece that was still connected to my skin and it hurt pretty bad. She was good at what she did but she was a little rough and here’s my toe a day later, hurts when I walk and it’s more swollen than yesterday. I’ll be going back but most definitely won’t be going back to the same person.

Dont do nail salons but, my wife treated me to a pedi and it was very soothing. Definitely, plan on returning to this establishment.

Saturday was my first visit to this salon, they were busy and running a bit behind but they handled it well. They are much cleaner than other nail salons Ive been to in the area. Their professional licenses were posted in view of the public which is a state requirement! My acrylics were beautifully done and the pedicure was amazing. They have a large pedicure menu and the prices are great for the service you receive. Everyone was professional and friendly. I will definitely be back, they are doing things right here! Thank you Nails 1st you are doing an amazing job!

Kathy was amazing I would only come back if I could deal with her and her only! For $150 the experience was all that and I’ve been to better salons in the past the best thinking I can say was Kathy listened and did a great job on my nails and my daughter feet Michelle and Mimi on the other hand needs more experience and patience I’m usually a easy going person simple with my nails and today I jus was super disappointed in the service I felt rushed my toe polish is clumpy (Michelle )and my daughter nails are sloppy ( Mimi) (who needs a attitude adjustment and to learn customer service skills)!!! I was asking her simple questions about my daughter nails and to fix her screwed up worked and of course she had a Attitude But Had all smiles when it was time to collect my money tho!!!! Kathy did the thing on my feet and my daughter hands as sated previously and she hooked my eyebrows up and I never let anyone touch my brows!!!! I still tipped even tho I was disappointed and for Kathy becuz no one else deserved a tip

Been going here since i was 14 &. Turning 38 tomorrow & Im going tomorrow to get my full ballerina set with marble paint for a birthday present to myself.I havent been in 5 years so Im excited to see if anything has changed because they have been the best my whole life

I just went there to fix two broken nails and get some diamonds on. my know is Slanted and the hombre is not really hombre because she used the same brush to do the pink. She did not shape The nails correctly

Went in close to close for a full set, they fit me in and did a great job. All my nails are even with a nice ombre effect. Definitely will be back. Reccomend T

The nails look ugly and lumpy they where the wrong size and applied wrong , and 2 nails crooked and the lady attending us was very rude i went back the next day and she refused to do anything about it saying that the nails where perfectly fine. Not even a week later two nails chipped because of how thin they were . Also when the nails were first applied they were not filled up it had looked as if it were 2 weeks old, looked completely grown out and were only 3 days old.

The manicurists are without a doubt professional in their dealings with the public. Polite and know how to greet, treat and keep the customer happy. You walk out feeling so much better than when you walked in. The pedicures are amazing! Thank you to the young ladies there, youre awesome!

Totally horrible experience got my nails done here and every time the gel polish dosent cure was charged over 80 dollars for nails that lifted in 2 hours just overall horrible experience not worth a dime of good money

Im not going to lie here just telling how my nails were done. the man that did my nails did an amazing work on my my nails, he took his time to do them very nice. they were beautiful and stay for months they were strong and did not fall off at all. everywhere I go people were giving me compliments. I went in as a walk in and was greeted right away even while both people were helping others. “V” did my nails and she was amazing ! So nice and professional. She talked to me, made sure they were the size and shape that I wanted. They came out amazing. About two weeks later I had broken a nail off and I went it and she re-did it for no charge. I never felt so comfortable and impressed with a nail salon like this one and will be returning for all my future mani-pedi needs! LOVE LOVE This place

It was my first time visiting. I did read the reviews on them. I did see unhappy people. And i also did see the owner offer to fix the flaws/mistakes that were made. So i decided to try them out anyways, and i have to say that they do amazing work and they are reasonably priced! I went in with a broken thumb nail and to get a fill. The nice lady that worked with me was fast, and sufficient, and does good quality work. She also told me that if i break another nail, i could come back and they will repair for free. Most nail salons charge for that. Amazing work ladies!! Ill be back for sure!So sense my first visit, i have gone back several times to get my nails done. Unfortunately the more i go back the more unhappy i have become. Some of my nails are shorter than others. The paint job this last time was sloppy i had chunks of gel left under my nails that i had to take off. And when i do go in i feel like im a inconvenience. I feel that if im a paying customer that maybe staff should put more care and precision into everyones nails. Not just mine. And if customers coming in and giving you business is a problem maybe you should shut down. Just saying.

This place is simply AMAZING...the staff is wonderful and really take pride in how they treat their customers and this is coming from someone who is picky about almost everything lol but i for sure wont be going anywhere else! If you want an AMAZING pedicure i HIGHLY recommend La La...not enough words to express by how great she is at what she does and is very thorough and goes the extra mile to make her clients happy and that they are more than satisfied and she is soooo very patient with you. As long as im in Colorado this is where i will be going. Truly cant recommend this place enough!

Friendly and talented nail tech, but was a little pricey

Had my nails done on sunday. Monday 2 of them chipped. I called and they asked me to stop by. When I stopped by, they told me that this happens and they cannot guarantee the material. She first tried to tell me it was just the nail polish, there is clearly chucks of material missing. Really? I have been getting my nails done for years, they rarely chipped but if they did other nail salons would fix their poor quality. When she did my nails I could tell she was rushing and skipping steps. I had black nail polish that she did not remove all the way and said black nail polish stains the cuticle. I can still see black nail polish imbedded in the material along the length of the nails.

I went here on Saturday to get a full set, and will never again go there. My nails are not what I wanted, the shape is wrong, nails different lengths, the polish is chipped, uneven, and has bubbles. The worse part is that I had 3 different nail techs working on me. I was only acknowledged when I first walked, and no one asked me what I wanted, or even made conversation with me. Ive had my nails done before, and the nails I got from there are of such poor quality that my 4 year old could have done better.

Did not honor my appointment.. I made an appointment for 2 o’clock.. walked in the same time as one other women.. one more came in after me and they seen both ladies before me and I was made to wait so I left

Nails are all different sizes. Their not even. The diamonds on them are all un-even. The thumb nail broke off after 2 days of having them. They did fix it but then both thumb nails were completely different lengths and shapes! I’ve had them for a week now the middle finger is completely broke off the thumb they fixed is now chipped in 2 places. The polish is also rubbing off of nails. When I went back and asked what could be done I was told I was stuck with the nails and I could not get a refund. They were very rude and the nails are very cheap and not done correctly!! Do not waste your money at this company!!!

I had a SIMILAR situation as Merilyns! This owner is PHENOMENALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! And would not give me my money back after giving me AN INFECTION, AFTER all my DIP fell off in less than 10 days, when theyre suppose to last for longer than 4weeks (as Ive been getting dip for 4 years now and have NEVER had them fall off a day before 4 weeks elsewhere!)! I am working on a case against this business, Merilyn would you corroborate with me if I need a second source for evidence when filing. The more voices the stronger the case. This lady should NOT be allowed to do this OVER & OVER & OVER again!!!

I would just like to start by saying I have no issue with the owner and her skill level. She is plenty talented in designs and listens well. Unfortunately though , today i was seen by the other nail tech, I wasn’t able to catch her name as she never introduced herself or tried to make conversation. She asked me what I wanted, I showed her the pictures and asked if they had the stars and half moon glitter I wanted. She never answered.(Which was fine because I Already assumed they wouldn’t have it, so I brought my own). I had asked for a simple blueish purple powder with flakes of stars and moon sequins throughout. I knew when she grabbed the nail polish instead of powder that this set wasn’t going to turn out how I intended and boy was I right. First off, she never asked what shape I wanted or if I would like them filed down shorter (it’s been 4 weeks since my last set and originally they were coffin but after weeks they’ve became completely rounded out). She began rounding them into almond shapes, I assume because they already kindof resembled almond. I then asked if she could do them coffin instead, she huffed and went “coffin?” I said yes and then asked if she could also do them shorter, she huffed again and repeated what I had said “shorter?” I replied “yes, I’m sorry”. However had she had asked in the beginning she would have known. The owner who was sitting right next to her doing my sister in laws nails , asked her what shape and if she wanted them shorter before she even picked up the drill to start filing. My nail tech then finished painting my nails and then asks “which finger would you like the design?” Which I had told her in the beginning I wanted stars and half moons on every nail, so I replied “I kindof wanted all of them?” I think she thought I wanted her to draw the designs on but I had tried to explain several times I was talking about the flakes of glitter (which I had also brought with me and provided for her to use) She then glued them all to the top of my nail and sealed them with a top coat which of course left the edges of them sticking up and scratchy. I’ve had sets done with this type of glitter before and typically they mix the flakes in with the powder to seal it in. Her technique wasn’t even remotely close to any ive seen used before. My nails are awful, they are completely uneven, some are completely different shapes and lengths than others and the tops feel like sandpaper. I can’t run my fingers through my hair without pulling out chunks of hair. It’s only been an hour since I left the salon and the way these nails keep scrapping up my skin makes me want to run to the stores and buy acetone to remove them myself. I will provide pictures of what I asked for versus what I got. I’m extremely disappointed with this visit because like I said I have no issue with the owner, she’s actually done my past 3 sets and they all came out incredibly detailed, lasted for weeks and the overall quality was amazing. However, her other nail technician has no where near the level of skill or customer service and I will definitely not be returning to that nail technician again.

I liked the design of the nails but not even my first day of getting a full set one of my thumb nails chipped. I had told them I needed them done to last due to my job and then tells days later four more nails chipped. Will not be returning.

Been going there since 1998, have try other places, but always go back. They always do a good job, and the one time i disnt not like the outcome they redid my nails.

Went and got my nails done (full set) on Monday about noon. An older man did my nails and was on his phone on speaker-phone the whole time talking to someone. Left shop and nails were decent. Had about 4 fingers with little bloody knicks from filing/grinding but they weren’t painful. Wednesday night my thumb nail broke in half just unloading the dishwasher. Thursday morning I had another 2 break while I was at work. I wouldn’t return.

The owners are the only employees..Horrible experience..they are very rude and do not give good cust.service...I was told I was too picky because I wanted my nails done a certain way... she couldnt do what I needed her to do...instead of her telling me that she couldnt...she proceeded to mess them up even more...during the process she decided to stop then denied me service after she couldnt fix her mess up...Then the gentleman denied my daugther service after he had drilled on her nails because I was unhappy about my nails...My daughter didnt have anything to do with my dislike...they are not at all up on latest trends on nails but they pretend to be...I had to spend money there and had to go to another nail shop who had to redo everything for me and my daugther...They were theBEST...guess Ill take my business there..They dont even deserve 1star they deserve no stars...

Have been coming here for 2 years now . And definitely one of the best nail places in the springs when it comes to price. If you want the old school nail environment come here. Due to covid staffing is short but they do there best every time . Oh and the rewards program is definitely a plus to keep coming back!
