When our air conditioner quit working, I contacted the company we had used in the past for service and I was told they were no longer doing residential clients. I asked if there was anyone they would recommend and their answer was Adams. Adams Heating and Cooling came out and gave us options of trying to fix our (very) old unit vs installing a new one. I was very impressed with this company from the beginning. We received 4 different quotes from 4 different companies. While they werent the cheapest, they offered the best service and product out of all 4 companies. We were told on Saturday (by a different company) that our heat exchanger was cracked. We called Tony that same day and went over the offer he gave us in October. They were able to come out that Monday and get started. They had the furnace up and going that same day, which was good because the snow hit us that night. They came out on Wednesday and finished up the job. I had to have another return vent installed and they were able to install in easily and without much difficulty. I also had a supply vent that the previous owner had installed under the fridge. I discussed this with Chase while he was installing the furnace, and he told me it would be no problem to move this vent so I could have heat and ac to my kitchen. They also installed this easily and my kitchen feels like the rest of the house. They were very easy to work with, due to personal commitments I had to leave my house several times while they were here and they continued working with no interruption and I fully trusted to leave them alone in the house. They left the area cleaner than it was before. Tony also followed up with me about the installation and if I had any questions. I also signed up for the service plan because it gave me a warranty for free labor on my hvac system for 10 years.

I had Adams Heating & Cooling come take a look at our 30 year old oil furnace that stopped working. Their experienced field team came out the same day and identified the problem and they confirmed my fears, the cost for repairs to such an old unit just didnt make sense. It was going to need to be replaced, and quick because it was the middle of winter! Luckily, Tony and his team were able to get a new oil furnace and heat pump installed only two days later and with a financing package that we could afford. The energy efficiency provided by the heat pump is an added bonus that we will be enjoying for years to come. Now our house is warmer than it has ever been AND we will have air conditioning in the summer too - which we did not have before. Everything went so smoothly and easily, we couldnt be happier with the whole process.

Recently we had Adams Heating and Cooling install a ductless air conditioning system in our home. The quality of the Carrier product is unsurpassed, it is efficient and quiet. Have used Adams for many years now and they never disappoint! Very prompt, personable service, responsive to emergencies, and they are great at advising best solutions for their customers. They installed a new HVAC system in our veterinary hospital some years ago. At original construction , the duct work was not done well and we could never get even cooling and heating throughout the hospital. I thought we just had to settle for what we had. Then Tony introduced us to the Carrier Infinity and I thought I died and went to heaven! Finally it was comfortable in every room! Adams just replaced our home HVAC system and we sleep so much more comfortably with a a great humidifier on the furnace. I didnt know what I was missing. Great job, great people, totally trust them!

This is my first experience with Adams Heating Co. I was very impressed with the customer service of Dave who found the system out of freon. He offered two solutions: fill the unit with freon or put some in to hold me until a new unit could be installed and he didnt even charge a trip charge. The new furnace and air conditioner are now in and working well. I am very happy with all the people I have met from Adams.

I recently had a Carrier ductless system installed for the upstairs of my house. First off, I got 4 estimates. The first 3 were basically the same. They all wanted to install an LG split system. Knowing the size of the upstairs & the heating & cooling issues we have delt with over the years we decided to get one last estimate. Im so glad we did. Tony Potts came out to our house and did a thorough evaluation of the area upstairs. Had I gone with any of the other 3 estimates I am sure that we would not be as happy with the results! They installed two 1 ton Carrier units on each side of my house & within hours the upstairs was the perfect temperature. We could not be happier. My wife and I hired Adams Heating in June 2020 to replace the gas furnace, air conditioner, and hot water heater in our home in Anderson Township. We had a fantastic experience, we could not be happier with their service and work, and we highly recommend them.Tony Potts is the HVAC specialist who came out to give us our quote. Tony was very thorough in determining what would need to be done to complete the job, and was very helpful in explaining the different choices amongst Carrier’s gas furnaces and air conditioners. It was a large job primarily due to the size of the old Williamson furnace that needed to be torn out, and the expectation was that it would take a day and a half to get the whole job done (furnace and AC on day 1, hot water heater on day 2).Tommy and Eric are the HVAC specialists that led the installation efforts, with a little help from Chris (a student learning the trade). They arrived at 8:30am just as Tony said they would, and they got right to work. They were courteous, professional, and incredibly hard workers. They got the entire job done in one day (including the hot water heater), and I am very impressed with their work.Tony followed up about a week after installation to ensure we were completely satisfied, and to answer any questions we had about using our new thermostat. We are very happy with our choice to hire Adams Heating, and genuinely look forward to having them service our new system for years to come.

Had my central a/c units serviced by Eric. He was extremely thorough and provided an excellent summary of what he did and what was needed. The experience was positive and the rate was fair. I would call Adams/Eric again if I had any kind of issue. Eric was honest and trustworthy.

We have had a service contract with Adams for several years now and their service and honesty continues to impress us. We just had spring service again today and a technician named Rick was at the house. He was very thorough, and very polite. He had extensive knowledge in his field and articulated that knowledge well. We will continue to use Adams as our primary HVAC provider. Job well done.

Mixed bag. Fast response to my call and they came quickly. Tech was polite and knowledgeable. In my business we repair and service refrigeration systems so whereas he didnt say anything incorrect he left out information. If Of note, he wasnt wearing footies and wasnt wearing a mask and got mud on my floor. As a rule you should at least appear with a mask and footies. Anyway, my 9 year old heat pump unit uses R22 refrigerant which had has largely been phased out; though you can still buy it. He said the system was down 3 lbs. of refrigerant approximately. And that if it is low on refrigerant it has a leak by definition, which is true. BUT had it been slowly leaking for 9 years and just refilling it, would suffice for another 9 years or was this a recent development - rate of loss is important? In fairness, its really impossible to tell but it was clear the push was on to sell a new unit. If it was leaking slowly it could go for a few more years and may be worth filling up with refrigerant. However, he was ready to sell me a new unit for 5K. I may have misunderstood him but I did repeat his calculation when he said he could refill the 3 lbs of refrigerant for $350 per lb. I said $1000 total and he said yes. I can buy R22 (FYI without a licence you cant ) for $350 for 20 lbs. Or $17.50 per pound. Thats a pretty steep mark up. Id be ok with $100 per pound charge because of crafting costs, losses, leaks and mark ups but $350! It started too appear as if their response was designed to sell a new unit not to service me. Anyway I topped it off myself with R22and after 2 wks were fine. That may change but I prefer to work with a company thats a little more transparent and doesnt gouge on the refrigerant. A lot of HVAC companies are leveraging R22 to sell new units and I feel that was going on here. Its easy to take advantage of people that arent familiar with refrigeration. Call more than one company. Know your pricing.

Our furnace died on Sunday (that snowy, cold, awful day) and we started calling furnace repair companies. Adams called back right away. Dave Smith came within one hour, diagnosed the problem, and had us warming again in a short period of time. He cleaned up after himself and it looked like he had never been there. I called Adams on Saturday morning of Labor Day weekend, when our central A/C died. They got to our house within a half hour, gave me a couple of options with quotes, and installed the new unit the following Tuesday (just 3 days later)! Steve gave me the quote, and was very professional and courteous, as was Jeremy who installed it! Thank you, very impressed with their professionalism and promptness!

During a recent cold snap, my furnace was not working well (it was 59 degrees in my bedroom). Adams Heating Co. had been recommended to me so I called them for a service call. I called at 8:00 am. right after they opened, and they had a serviceman at my house by 9:00. He did a thorough check on my furnace, serviced it (routine maintenance) and could find nothing wrong. He must have done something right, because it has worked just fine since the visit. And, my service technician was a great guy. The charge was less than $100 - I will definitely have them do routine service on my HVAC and use them when the time comes to replace the equipment.

****UPDATE****They are working to correct the mistake. After research, my fault, still not a great deal but they are doing the right thing.Promised to install Carrier Furnace and put in Payne instead. Very misleading and not ethical.

Had a great experience with Adams Heating & Cooling. I wanted to replace my old oil furnace with a new one and add a heat pump as well with the A/C.. HVAC Specialist Tony Potts came out to give me a quote. Mr.Potts didnt just give a Quote like the other companies I had out. He looked at all the duck work took measurements checked literally everything to be able to determine what my house needed. And gave me different options depending on what i wanted to spend. He was very honest about everything. Other companies just came out looked at the furnace and a/c unit and gave a quote but they didnt have the knowledge and was tryng to sell me junk. The biggest reason i went with Adams was because the honesty I got from Mr. Potts and I felt more comfortable with them because of the inspection Mr.Potts gave. I have no problem spending a little more money for better equipment. The guys that came out for install was awesome. They knew what they was doing and did everything right. I have a buddy in the HVAC world that cameout to see what work they did and he was very impressed by there work. I will refer Adams Heating to everyone. At the end of the day this company does great work and will bring you great peace of mind knowing that everything was done right and your being taken care of.

Unfortunately this company is out to charge you the maximum amount they can get away with. They came to my mothers house and told her she needed a very expensive part for her gas furnace (controller). It turned out that it was just the button stuck on the thermostat. I called and they did refund the $90 service call charge and my Mom has had no problem since then (6 months). Nothing like telling an 86 year old woman that her furnace needs the most expensive part.I just called to get an estimate on replacing my oil pump on my furnace. The part (Suntec 2460GU Oil Burner Pump A2VA-7116 ) costs $76.40 on Amazon and is not very hard to install. I may just do it myself but I dont have the gauges to check pressure and vacuum. Their estimate is $300 - $500. They wouldnt give me a more precise estimate even though I said I could answer all of their questions.

Needed a condensor fan for my AC. The representative at the counter got me exactly what I needed based on a cell phone pic of the old unit. He even got me a part I didnt know I needed but actually did. Tossed in a little friendly advice and the price was right in line with buying online too. I didnt use thier service so I cant speak to that, but when its time to call in the pros, this will be who I call.

We have continued for more than a decade because of their professional attitude and enthusiastic willingness to make sure that problems are solved and all questions are answered. When we had a problem with our furnace this year, they responded in a timely fashion. They had to warn us that the problem may reoccur and the technician even showed my husband what to do if it happened again. When the problem reoccurred, they were here within a half hour and replaced the malfunctioning part. This is a company that takes pride in what they do.

You installed our HVA/C equipment. You have serviced it each year since. It has always been a good experience from scheduling to each service.Your tech David has always been on time, considerate, helpful with any questions I have, and very clean & efficient.

I called for service at 1:00 pm,told them my renter had emphyzema and needed immediate heat pump (cooling) service and they were onsite by 2:30. WOW, what service. A little freon and they were gone. they will always be my go to heating company.

I called Adams Heating yesterday because it was the company listed on the sticker on the furnace at the house my 80-year-old mother lives in. The furnace has not keeping her house warm. A nice lady told me that a man could come out that same day. He did arrive on time, was polite and efficient, but unfortunately by the time he got there the furnace was working fine and the house was actually quite warm. He did a full inspection but could find nothing wrong with the furnace. He told us he would waive the $90 fee and return again the next time the furnace stopped working. Whether we get a new furnace or not, he did point out to me that the flue elbow near the furnace should be replaced soon. I thanked him.Today, mom woke up to a cold house so she called Adams and a different man came. While he was inspecting the furnace, my mom called me to let me know he was there and that I could come over. He informed us the furnace was dying and we needed a new furnace. I called the landlord to tell him the bad news. He asked to speak to the technician. I did not hear what the technician said about the furnace but I did hear the technician promise to send him the quotes by email and asked for an email address. I gave him our landlord’s business card. He asked for me to write him a check for the $90 fee which I did.My mom called me later saying that she couldn’t hear the furnace running and had called Adams again. They told her the man that came there had to turn the furnace off. I wasn’t sure if my mom was a little confused, or they misunderstood, or what was going on, so I told mom I would call them and ask some questions. I called the nice office lady. She informed me that the man did indeed turn the furnace off insisting that they “had to because of the carbon monoxide danger”. I informed her that he said nothing about that to me or the landlord. She assured me he did. I assured her he did not do any testing for carbon monoxide in my presence. She said the signs of danger were enough for them to turn off the furnace. I started getting angry and told her that they had no right to turn off my mother’s furnace without asking me or her or the landlord. The lady insisted that the man explained “everything” to the landlord. I said some rather not nice things to her. I called the landlord and asked him if the furnace man informed him he was turning the furnace off. He said, “absolutely not”. Needless to say, he and I got very angry. We both went to my mother’s house and found that the furnace was not turned off but he actually left the front panels off the furnace that caused it to be off. I noticed that it looks like the “repair” man took a screw driver and poked holes in the flue pipe immediately above the furnace. I certainly saw NO HOLES there the day before.Mom’s landlord happens to be a Professional Engineer with decades of HVAC experience and is registered as a Professional Engineer in 7 States to practice HVAC Engineering and Design. He knows quite a lot about furnaces. We went to Home Depot, purchased supplies, and made temporary repairs of the flue pipe and purchased new carbon monoxide detectors. The furnace is now functioning and providing the house with heat with no sign of carbon monoxide. I also called my bank and put a stop payment on the $90 check I had given the furnace “repair” man earlier in the day. I am too upset for words to express. There is no way this is proper behavior for a salesperson representing a reputable company. I wish I could give a review that has no stars for this is a totally shameful way to behave. They left my 80-year-old mother with a sabotaged, torn apart, off furnace in the middle of January. Shame on you!

They did a fantastic job repairing my furnace. Professional, prompt and left the worksite clean. I would recommend them highly.

Adams Heating and Cooling is a local HVAC company that treats their customers well, providing great service at a fair price. Eric was extremely knowledgeable and was able to get our A/C working. In the past three years, my wife and I have had to contact several HVAC companies to come out and diagnose problems with our system. Technicians from these other local companies would come out and seemingly make the problem worse.Our experience with Adams Heating and Cooling was phenomenal. If youre having HVAC problems, I would recommend contacting them first.

The new AC unit was installed with no mess left behind. The technicians were very professional and courteous.
