My radiator decided to spill its fluid on the ground on a Sunday evening. Not sure what exactly happened I used the online chat bot to setup a time the next morning to get my car scheduled to be fixed. The chat bot finally gave me a tentative time and said I would hear from someone. I never did so I tried calling but could never get through. I then filled the radiator up with fluid, lots most of the fluid when I poured it in through the seems, so that I could drive it the half mile to Shelor and went to the express lane not really knowing where to go. They said I needed to go to the service department but after I told them my story they looked to see if I had an appointment. I did not. They continued to call the service department and after a little while was able to get me in touch with Charles ( a Service department manager) and I explained what happened and he said I could leave it and that they were so busy that it may take up to 3 weeks to get repaired. I told them I needed a vehicle because I have to work and pickup my son and so on. Anyways I brought over to Casey and he got my car checked in and then a shuttle service back home. Within a couple of hours Casey called me and said they could squeeze my vehicle in and it should be ready by tomorrow. Casey then called me back 30 minutes before they close and said it was ready. Unfortunately I was not. So Casey setup to have a shuttle pick me up in the morning so that I could get my car. I was expecting a very high price tag for the work. To my surprise it was not. They did not charge me the $105 diagnostic fee they said they would charge and the price was $3-400 less than expected.Everyone, from when I first walked in to get help to the time I was back in my fixed vehicle, went above and beyond to help me out. By far the best experience I have ever had a dealership service department.

Traveling on vacation when the trouble lights came on on a Friday afternoon. We had a long way to go. They got us into the service department quickly and we were back on the road in about 2 hours. I really appreciate that kind of service.

Got a good deal on a used truck. Really liked the salesman. However, they cleaned the truck and used armorall or something similar on the floors. They are so slick 2 of us have already fell getting into the truck! Bought floor mats and they just slide around.Now have to spend the weekend trying to remove this hazard! 😖

My daughter has purchased 5 cars from Shelor, her salesman was always Bob Crowell , he has always been so helpful and really worked with her to give her the best deal!! The Motor Mile Car wash is absolutely outstanding. I hope someone over it doesnt get a bright idea of changing how its run. The guys do a great job and I run all 3 of my Autos thought it. My two personal cars and my 18 Ram 2500 every week on the weekends like clock work. The service is outstanding. The management staffs customer service is superb. So an update after a year this place is still the best place to go for a car wash. My vehicle may have changed but the service here and the cleanliness of the vehicles after they’ve been washed has not. The management staff and their crew still doing a top-notch job. There might be other car wash is opening up but there’s no reason to go anywhere else when they’re doing the job but they’re doing here. Keep up the great work

In March of 2015 we got news of a new addition to the family and needed a larger car. We were refered to the Motor Mile where they were on point and prompt about learning your needs and helping you out and getting you on the road in your New or like New car. When leaving the lot with a 5yr 370.00 payment you would think life is good but let me tell you its been a nightmare i never in my life have a been taken advantage of with the suv in bought from the motor mile and would strongly recommend to not buy a used car from them. Since 2015 i have never been able to have my car longer then a month before it had to be put back in the shop for more repairs and they still keep coming i paid 22,200.00 for my suv and so far the repair cost of the suv has reached over 15,000.00. Its been a major hardship of me and my family and strongly dont recommand buying a car from these people and know they have no desire to do people right only to get the car out the door. Its up to people like us to get the word out about a company like this. Im doing all i can to refer people away from this place of business they have no interest in making things right.

Well my previous review magically disappeared so I will leave it again. My attorney is looking into the shady practice of yo yo financing here. Bought a car with my daughter where I signed as the primary buyer and she was the co buyer as she was unable to purchase the car on her own. A little over TWO WEEKS went by and in that time she was offered a much better paying job and took it. Shelor called her to tell her to return the car because they could not verify her employment. They never contacted me, the primary purchaser. Mind you my job has not changed for the past 6 years and I work for the City. They continued to call her all day as if she was a criminal so I called them and voiced my concerns and stated that we were both at work and would return the car after work. Mind you this was the next day after they called the evening before. While in the phone they wanted to work out “another deal” but at a more expensive price. I flat out said NO! This is illegal!!! Stay away!!!! And if this review disappears I and my attorney have copies!! PS. Upon returning the vehicle, none of the sales people that we dealt with initially said a word to us. They looked at us and walked by and then began whispering to the manager. They sent a maintenance person out to handle the return until I asked for a receipt for the return of the tags. That’s when a manager came out only to tell us they don’t give receipts. Unbelievable!!!

Called before hand and was told lies about being approved after knowing everything including down payment, trade in, etc. Just for them to deny us after driving an hour there. Never will go back.

I waited for over an hour just to have inspection decal updated. I was in earlier and got a rejection sticker because of a Cracked headlight lens.

If at all possible, I would leave a negative 5 star review. By far the worst experience buying a vehicle. Ran our credit 10 times without leeting us know they were running it so many times. We go to refinance our home and find out our credit was ran 10 times by shelor. No need for that. Salesman was very rude. I asked what do we need to do to get my payment at a certain price. His responce in a snarky tone look at cheaper cars I was asking how much down i needed to place not vehicle price points. If you have purchased here, check your credit reports for multiple run which is negitive effects on credit. No need for running so many times without notice. NEVER BUY HERE!

Very poor experience again with Shelor. I have tried 6times over a 15yr time to purchase a vehicle their however its always the same they say they can get me in what I want then I make the trip their after credit and all had already been ran etc, just for them to try to put me in whatever that want as usual. The reason this is aggravating is I get a new car almost every year and every time Ive tried with the Shelor which advertise they can get anyone approved and is not the case I literally left and got the same car that they couldnt approve at a dealer 9miles down the road with less miles, better rate,and lower price. This has made multiple times I have done this. I have purchased 2 vehicles from JEFF JOHNSONS, 1 FROM H &H AUTO SALES, 3 FROM MT. AIRY FORD,etc etc list goes on so Im just aggravated that I always get the car I want but Ive made the mistake wasting time with Shelor again..i dont recommend for anyone..they can only help the disparate that are willing to leave in anything, dont recommend at all poor service and lies, wasted another entire day and a 2hiur round trip just to buy from another lot AGAIN..horrible experience and business

Ive purchased my last 9 vehicles here and always came away feeling like I got a good value on my purchase.

Terrible experience. There for 6 plus hours to repair door latch. They broke head off bolt for window regulator while trying to fix that, bushings fell apart. They have to order more parts. Now I am not supposed to put window down. So I left there in worse shape than when I arrived. Since my diet consists of mostly fast food, I may starve to death before it gets fixed. Kidding of course.

I received the high quality service during my last visit. The covid 19 protocols were implemented in practiced. Our service manager was attentive and provide timely communication.

Both times they have run 3 hours longer than I was told the jobs would take, and the bills were both more than $300 over what I was quoted. They worked with me some on the bill this time but its the principal of the thing....

The people are nice enough , it is what they train them to do . buying a new car might be ok but beware buying a used car and run from the words * what can I do to get you in this auto* .I bought a used truck I dont really like and was supposed to have a 30 day warranty , but after 1 week the battery went bad and would leave me stranded . while trying to get them to give me a battery (which they wouldnt do) . I had other problems which I knew they would not try to help with .I had to have front end work done , which the person that did it said it should not have passed inspection. and while driving sometimes the headlights flicker out. All while under supposed warranty.After getting home in the truck I noticed how dirty it was it had not been detailed it was like someone had turned it in and they just pulled it on the lot to be soldWhile working on a deal the sales person would come back acting like he was improving the deal but when I was looking at the paperwork I realized I basically paid them to take my trade in and even paid some money down I ended up paying the full price even after all the times he said * we will take off this much*.I am talking to a Lawyer to see what my options are since buying a new auto is supposed to be stress free for a while but having all the headaches in the first few weeks is to much .

Started work on dec. 1 - was told I was fired on dec. 18 with NO reason. HR couldnt even answer. Randy from service just said to leave because it was the hire ups decision... Ridiculous company to work for. NOT professional and would not recommend to those wanting to apply. Never have had this occur before in my life.

Pretty nice setup but I contacted them on the phone first to see if they can help me with my durangos issue and told me they could, but when I made the trip all the way over there they told me they could not seem like to me they were more worried about the coronavirus versus fixing my issue.

We very much wanted to do business with them as they are practically just down the street. However, they wont budge on prices..at all. After asking them just to come close to the offer HaileToyota gave us on a new Rav4, they refused and almost laughed at the thought. Oh well, saved $6,000 on the exact same vehicle buy purchasing at Haile in Roanoke.

Motor mile pulaski not a good buying experience 2nd and last vehicle I will buy there

I took my Jeep here for airbag recall replacement. And all the lights on my dash were lit up once I got back in it. I told the guy about it and he wasnt very nice and said they were lit up when it came in. They were not!! Then the middle console had been taken out and they dropped my air freshener down inside it and never got it out. They have a Beautiful place here but not very nice staff. And we took the Jeep to T&K auto where he finally realized there was Fuses taken out that they never replaced at Shealor. So T&K has been my new go to garage from that point on. Tim and his staff are very nice and have reasonable prices.

I took my car in to get a trailer hitch put on and it looked good. went home and noticed glove box would not open. took it back when they could make an appointment and they said i need a new glove box for 600 dollars. so told them I would get it from ebay and make an appointment for them to install it. well that evening I noticed my vertical running light was out on one side. I am sure that is 3 or 4 hundred for that too. i will never take anything to shelors again. I feel like they did this veitnam vet wrong!

I spent 31 years in public service in Pulaski County and I can remember being in a business where the employees went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. That was my experience today as I visited the Quick Lane service center in Pulaski. Ray McClanahan at the Service Center was on top of his game getting my needs taken care of and out in a very timely manner. I would strongly suggest, if you need vehicle repair, inspection or looking for a new vehicle, give Pulaski Motor Mile a chance to earn your business. You wont be disappointed.

Great salesman David. Trey was awesome too. They have so many vehicles, and if its used they dont move on price. Most of what they have in stock cant seem to be found when you get there, or theyre sold. Id much rather deal with a more organized dealership. Probably a good place for a new vehicle. Its one big bunch of vehicles scattered all over. Good folks. If they had the used vehicles, and moved on prices Id give them 5.
