I have used this repair shop for about three years and will only use it. The staff is very friendly and does not take a corporate approach to their customer as some dealership repair facilities do.. They are usually able to accommodate the customer with very good, prompt service and do not try to sell other repairs or replacement parts that are not necessary at the time. On one occasion when I was having trouble (the car engine wouldnt shut off) with my hybrid car, they said they did not know how to fix it and recommended I go to the dealer. I have confidence in their work and if I only need something as simple as air in a tire or the oil checked, someone handles it very quickly. Usually all their repair bays are being used and there will be cars parked waiting for service so there must be many customers who like to have work done there. I recommend this Mr. Tire to my friends when asked for a good garage.

This was easily the worst car service I’ve received in the NRV. I scheduled my appointment for a tire change 3 pm on Tuesday. I picked out the tires I wanted and selected the services I wanted. I received a phone call later saying the tires wouldn’t be in until Wednesday morning and asked if I could reschedule for Wednesday. I said “of course” and Tina told me she had me all set up for the following day and that my tires would arrive between 8-noon on Wednesday. I informed her I would drop the car off Tuesday night and leave my key with my info on it in the drop box; she told me all this was fine.Apparently my tires were never ordered and my appointment never moved. My car sat there all day on Wednesday. I repeatedly called them all afternoon and never received an answer. Finally, after literal hours, I got through. No one knew who I was or what my car was or what I needed done on my car. They insisted the tires would be in on Thursday morning and they would do the tire change for me and my car would be ready by 11 am.My car wasn’t ready until nearly 6 pm on Thursday. I never received ANY phone calls from them during this entire process. Every time I needed to call them to check on things, it took at least twenty minutes to actually get through to anyone. They charged me for a mysterious $120 lifetime package THAT I NEVER ASKED FOR. The tires on my car aren’t even the tires that I originally picked out. The cost was no where near what my original quote was. To top it off, as I’m leaving, they tell me they’re concerned about my wheel bearing, but never mentioned this during the entire three days my car was there. I ended up paying $750 for the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I will not be using the “lifetime package” as I will never come here again.Please save your money and your precious time and go elsewhere!!!

A simple vehicle inspection and minor repair that should have taken no more than a couple of hours turned into waiting for four hours. Had to constantly ask for updates about my vehicle to find out what was going on.

Stopped in because my exhaust tip was loose and falling off. And needed to remove 2 tires from two rims. Went to pay pay and they said have a good day. I was not expecting free service but wow. Thanks guys. Definitely be back again and i learned they got their inspection capabilities back.

I asked for an alignment job which they did (I think properly) and they were happy to charge me $240 for it. I am pretty sure it was a rip-off to charge this much for adjusting a couple of bolts on the car. Learn from my mistake and ask how much it will cost before leaving your car there.

Second time getting my vehicle alignment done here now. First time was a good experience, second time not so much.On this last time, I had to wait an hour even with an appointment. OK, not a big deal but somewhat annoying. My vehicle was pulling to the right a bit. They worked on it, test drove it, said all good, I pay (nearly twenty bucks more than last time I might add), go to drive off and now it pulls me to the left about in to the ditch. I turn around by Starbucks and tell the manager behind the counter and he doesnt have it, swears how accurate the job was etc, swears my tires are chewed up and need replacing, which they arent, rotates the tires to the back, mechanic test drives, I take off, repeat. I bring it back, same thing....dude isnt having it. Swears the accuracy of his equipment and job, yet here I am with a vehicle putting me in to a ditch. I drive off, park it for the night and hit it with a tape measure the next day. First the alignment calls for +/-1/8 toe. Its set to 5/8 toe in. Wow. I pull it up on my ramps, do the most rudimentary camber test I can do....4x4 and a bubble level on the hub. Driver side looks good...passenger side on the other hand is leaning in like the tower if Pisa. The bubble is no joke pegged out. And yes this was done on a level surface.I could gave dealt with a shotty repair job but you need to have the customer service to back it up. I pulled back in twice and was brushed off with attitude by the manager and whomever the gal was behind the counter giving me stink eye. Ill never be back and will advise the same to everyone I know.Also I went ahead and attached a page from the service manual on how to do a front end alignment on this vehicle. Maybe they can find it useful for the next one.

I needed new tires and fast because one had a pretty good leak in it. I called them up and they were able to get me in the same day. They didnt have all the tires I needed in stock at that location so they sent an employee to Salem to get what I needed. When I got there they very quick to get the job done. Will definitely go there again!

Courteous and efficient staff. Let me know of maintenance that was pressing but able to show proof. Highly recommended if you want service you can trust.

My brake line leaked and i drove here they were very accommodating and nice and sat for 4 hours and then they broke some cylinder and made a new flange. But then i drove 10 miles and it was soft so i came back and it was still soft. Then i drove to maine and got it checked and bled for 70$ more and it was good but 2 months later the flange came off and leaked everything out.

I was there for change my two tires and when I came home checked my tires and wiped rims coz they got oils dirt on rims but when I cleaned entire edges of my rims are sharply scratched all around both of rims from guy who replace new tires there and I was very upset and they didn’t tell me they damaged rims. I didn’t call them informed abt it coz guy who changed it was old guy and he covered all rims some kind of black oily dirt so that I don’t see it when I was there... next time anyone had replacement tires at this location just check them carefully....

No complaints, they did what I paid them to do pretty quickly.

This is the worst place in the new river valley there service is so bad I would not recommend for anyone to do business with them customers there for hours while the mechanics stand around and run there mouths I will report them its no sense for customers have to wait for hours while they stand around and talk and not doing there job. From out of town, had an issue with a camper tire. They were super helpful and didnt take me to the cleaners! Also got me in and out quickly.

My Tesla has a slow leak in one of the sidewalls. Unfortunately it wasnt patchable and no one around here stocks tires that fit. Im still grateful they were able to locate the leak and diagnose the issue for me without an appointment on Saturday.

Flat tire on an out of town business trip - they managed to get us in and fixed within two hours, on a busy day. Great service and price and helped us in a pinch. Highly recommend

The worst automotive experience I have ever had. Held my car for two days without doing any work to it whilst lying to me that it would be done. Then proceeded to try and charge me $800 for unknown parts after telling me the charges would be free for my excessive wait time. Truly the sketchiest and shadiest shop I’ve ever encountered.

I made an appointment here to have my snow tires put on. When I arrived, not one staff member was wearing a mask, in spite of the state mandate currently going on in Virginia. Most of the customers in the small waiting room were also not wearing masks. As a healthcare worker who has taken care of many patients with Covid 19, I was extremely uncomfortable with this, but I really needed the tires put on and the woman at the desk assured me it should be done within two hours. Two hours later, my car had not been taken back yet, and from what I could see, not one car had been finished since I got there. I finally had to leave without having the tires changed to get to work. I will not be returning, and I would highly recommend not going to this place as long as there is a pandemic, as this shop is clearly not willing to do even the bare minimum to protect themselves and their clients.

Expensive with low quality service.The employee are not nice!!!

The workers here are very experienced in helping you choose the right options for your car. I popped my tire and my two front tires needed to be replaced, so they placed an order to have them shipped in. Within two days I was driving my car again. I was originally told I would be paying $360, but they saved me $60 and gave me better tires with warranty. They stored my spare nicely back into my trunk. Jason in particular was very helpful and made sure I was in good shape before I was on the road again. Overall a great experience!

We drove 650 miles, no problems until we had to drive over a piece of plywood in the road. Then tire pressure started dropping. We found Mr Tire 5 miles away. Great find, smart young man is taking care of us as I type.

We bought 4 tires and had them installed. Jacob and everyone else we met was very friendly and didnt try to upsell any additional services but truly seem to be genuinely helpful. They were also the best price we could find, so that was an extra plus! Definitely recommend this place

My tire got nail on Dec 25 so visited Mr Tire on Dec 26. The service was honest. Nobody said to me to change the whole tire and buy a new set. I know some places do this kind of mispractice. Within 40 min they fixed my tire and charged very little money. Today is Jan 09 and tire is still good. I recommend this shop and visit it again.

Amazing service! On our way home from a long trip, I got stuck on the side of the highway with 2 flat tires in the rain. My 1 year old and my fiancé were in the car with me, and it was 20 minutes before Mr. Tire closed. I called them, and Jacob was extremely helpful. Him and his mechanic stayed open late and referred me to a tow truck, they got me there and took care of us right away at a decent price. Most amazing customer service, and just overall great people. Wow what a place. We are traveling across country and 5 miles from the tire center we blew a tire on our 5th wheel. I call to see if they could help as I needed to get a replacement tire. Jacob Price said he had 2 in stock, but went and confirmed that he had them. Once we changed our spare we drove to their facility and purchased 2 new tires. Their service was quick and very efficient. I was very pleased with the staff at Mr. Tire. They were very friendly, and fit me in for an oil change with very short notice. My only complaint is the price. I certainly paid more than the average price for a basic oil change. With that said, they seem to do great work.

I had a great experience with the folks at Mr. Tire. Their prices were fair, the work was thorough and prompt, and they even shuttled me back and forth at no cost. After a test drive, they identified a major problem with my front brakes. I was able to take preventative measures before this issue turned into something more serious and dangerous. My car has 240,000+ miles, and now it is running as well as it has in a long time. I appreciate that Mr. Tire didnt pressure me into more work than I needed, but were honest in their evaluation of my vehicle - I would definitely recommend!

Went to get front tires changed and they went to the back tires instead and tried to say that they were bad. They are thiefs and liars! The back tires were brand new. They tried to say they plugged the front tire. But they didnt. Will never do business again. Tried calling my brother a liar and lied to my husband also. They even tried to say the belt on our tires that were new was broke. I waited 2 hours for them to put tires on after they pulled it in the back. They wasnt even busy! Crooks!!

My mom and I have been going to this location for only a short period of time; we used to go to a Mr. Tire in PA before moved to VA. But in that short time, the mechanics that I we have encountered (Shannon and Ian) have treated us with the utmost respect and generosity that we have not found anywhere else. They try everything in their power to make sure that you and your car get home safely and comfortably. I would highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for a mechanic that will take customer care just as seriously as fixing a vehicle.

I had a lugnut that was stuck on one of my rims. Another chain refused to take it off and I had waited 3 hours just to be told this. Mr Tire said they would take it off, replace it if needed, and put new tires on my vehicle. At the spur of the moment, on a Tuesday afternoon, I had brand new tires on my vehicle in less than an hour. For this very reason, I will be a returning customer.

I have never even heard of service like these guys did. I am in Alaska and my girl is a traveling nurse and was traveling to Maryland to work and her car broke down. Naturally I was very worried about her, but she got herself to Mr. Tire in Christiansburg Virginia. She called me and I talked with Jakob and told him how special she is to me, and he told me not worry about a thing, he would take care of everything for me. He put Adam Akers and Johnathon Puckett to work on her car. Really what he did was put my mind at ease and took care of my girl for me. These guys did everything they said they would and it would be impossible for me to ever repay them for what they did for me and especially her. They actually got her back on the road same day. So Thank you Jakob, Adam and Johnathon, I appreciate your hard work and your caring about your customers.

Great service. Needed a tire changed and alignment, called a few places but all of them said it would be a couple days before they could get me in. Called Mr Tire, and even though they were full, they said they could still squeeze me in and get the job done. Very friendly, and great staff. Been to many shops in the Christiansburg area, and they have the best staff and do the best job. Very pleased with everything, and will be taking all of my vehicles there in the future.

I was very pleased with the service. As a woman going into a garage can be scary. Afraid they are going to try and rip you off because your a girl. Everyone was very friendly and fixed my car without trying to add things I did not need. I told my friends and I will defiantly be back for all my car service needs.

I have recently relocated to Virginia from PA, but prior to to moving I made it a point to find a new Mr. Tire so that I could continue receiving quality service on my vehicle, with fair and friendly customer service. Locating the one in Christiansburg has been a God send. With the same fair, fast and friendly customer service as if I never left home. Ive been with Mr. Tire since 2010 and I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. They have always made certain that my vehicle was in great working order ensuring the safety of my family and I.

In a 2 month time frame, I was at this business for multiple work done at least 6 times for different things done to my vehicle. The first time there I went in for an alignment and spent over 700 dollars for extra work, including a CV axle, control arm, plus other work. Another time, there was one employee who was talking on his cell phone and not working on my vehicle, so I had to bring it back the next day. Another time for a noise in the front when turning the wheel. I was told its the heat shield near the wheel bearings after the wheel bearings were replaced at the shop. Thats just to name a few things that were done on my vehicle. Numerous times my vehicle was on the lift and not one mechanic said my caliper was bad. Every single time the tires were removed the caliper was exposed, therefore theres no excuse not to inform me about the caliper going bad or was already bad. I had to take it to another shop only to be told its my caliper that needs replaced. I wont be returning to this shop for further business, Im taking my business and money to the shop that informed me of the real problem behind the noise in the front.

The staff and management are super nice and friendly. The service was really fast and the price was definitely affordable. It was an incredibly easy and pleasant experience to have my car serviced there. I’m definitely recommending this place to my family and friends!

Lost hope from the last few shops ive gone to, didnt expect much. From the moment I called, until the end, the service was phenomenal, quick and painless. Got hold of a Jacob price at the front, explained how little time I had, finally someone that shows you respect and treats you right. Dude had me in with no reservation for my oil change, same hour I called. Recommend to anyone tired of being screwed over at other shops

Had a punctured tire and wasnt sure where to go. I was sure everyone would just try to sell me new tires. These guys were great! Took a look at it, patched it, put it back on the car, and put the spare away. Great experience.

Had what I thought was a rotting muffler on my old truck. Took it to Dan and the crew at Mr. Tire, first time there for me. They quickly, and honestly, diagnosed the issue ...some loose bolts. They tightened it up, problem solved and no charge. Could not have asked for a better experience. Honesty goes a long way. Will go back for future repairs.

Not only did they have the tire, but the gentleman waited to go on his lunch break until we arrived safely.
