I cannot express how wonderful our service was with Mark Mullins at Shelors Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. We were in a situation where my husband really needed to consider selling his older truck for a newer more travel reliant vehicle. Mark worked diligently to make sure we were able to get the best deal. By the end of our time with him, we were able to keep our truck and purchase a new vehicle. I have all my vehicles serviced at Shelor motor mile. The service is always exceptional. But this time Nathan blew it out of the park. I am a mobile service and I told Nathan I received an emergency call and needed my van back as soon as possible. He kept checking on my van and kept me inform. He had my van back to me with in hours. This was a sudden request and Nathan made it happen. You cant beat that anywhere. Thank you.

Motor Mile is a large business and once we were on site it took us three stops to find the correct building. More/better signs would have made this much less stressful and added a star to this rating. Once we found the correct building the receptionist and service advisor(Darryl) were both professional and helpful. We chose to take advantage of the free shuttle service and the drivers were safe and courteous. The reason I didnt give the fifth star is nobody bothered to tell us the shuttle service did not run between noon and one oclock. Our service was completed at 12:12 but it was after 1:00 when we were finally picked up. We will give them a second chance and use what we learned today. Overall not great but not terrible either.

I took our 2019 Jeep in for an oil change and tire rotation. We also had a couple of additional items we wanted checked, that would be covered under our warranty. They had it in their shop for 2 1/2 days but couldnt get them to replicate what we told them the problems were. Not a lot of confidence in the repairs/checks because they hadnt even reset the oil life monitor which I did myself after getting home!

Today 4/13/21 we purchased a brand new 2021 Chrysler 300 Touring and this was the most painless process of purchasing a car that I have done ever. No hassle and our salesman, Chris Spencer, was simply awesome. He made the purchase so smooth and there was no hassle. We were approved in about 15 minutes and came out with options for our purchase. Changed out the plates, moved our personal belongings from the old car to the new car. I would strongly suggest that if you are looking for a car this is the dealer to go to. If you hear their ads about the Shelor Motor Mile they are all true. Great dealership and the building and grounds are just immaculate and the friendliest people you will ever want to deal with and meet. I give them a 5-star rating and if I could I would give them 6.

As of right now its a 2 the salesman was good at what he did. But the jeep I bought already had popping sounds a week into getting it, they tried to schedule me outside the original 14 day period. When I did get scheduled on Tuesday this week I brought it in had no rental ready when I was told there would be one... Now I am told it will be next Monday or Tuesday before they can even see my Vehicle, to see whats wrong. Which means it goes over the 14 day period now.. Just wondering now if they are gonna try and charge me for something extra, cause the 14 day warranty is up, also charge me somehow for the rental to which I was told is suppose to be at no cost to me cause with Jeep it is not suppose to be.. So to be continued really.. Especially when a friend took his Jeep in the day after mine and has his back already. I was told by a Service Administrator that they are still working on Vehicles from last weekend. Kinda seems like Shelor lied to cover themselves or their service dept is really that bad at fixing things. Was even told that by numerous people. Like how they forgot to put in bolts around a Transmission Housing on another Jeep guy I know. So thanks so far for the bad service.

I usually don’t leave a ton of Google reviews but I wanted to express my satisfaction with my recent visit to Shelor Motor Mile in Christiansburg. I had a super pleasant experience test driving, trading in my old vehicle, and financing my new one.The process was time consuming but usually is when buying a new vehicle. Either way, I had the best help with the process. Chris Spencer was one of the best and personable sales person I’ve ever came in contact with. He wasn’t pushy or misleading. He answered every question I had and more. Definitely would recommend asking for him if you’re looking to buy a car from there.From the financing perspective, I worked with Daniel and he was also equally as great. He literally had a detailed answer for every question I had and really helped me feel informed with my decisions. He was also very personable and easy to talk to.Either way, if you can find a good deal and a vehicle you’re interested in, I’d highly recommend coming here. I did ask Chris to not have the car cleaned by the people at the dealership as I’ve had bad experiences with other dealerships ruining paints with swirl marks or scratches.However, I detail professionally on the side and have no problem working on my new car once I got it home. Wish the complimentary car washes were of better quality as my truck still looks dirty since they give the lowest quality wash but overall very pleased. Prices are pretty high but that has nothing to do with the actual employees who were nothing short of top notch.

I think everyone at the service center is trying hard but Id fault management for either setting up lousy processes or understaffing their service teams. Ive been there a few times and each time It has been one delay after another and one missed promise after another. Ive owned three Jeep Grand Cherokees over the past 30 years and Ive been to Jeep dealership service centers in at least six states. Everyone of them is more responsive, schedules repairs faster and keeps their promises better than Motor Mile in Christiansburg. They appear to prioritize scale over personalized service, and prioritize their own process over delivering good customer service. The other Jeep service centers prove Motor Mile could do much better.

I scheduled an appointment on Monday, August 2nd, 2021 for 4 new tires for my 2018 Dodge Tradesman 2500, which I purchased new from the Shelor Motor Mile in December 2018.After the four BF Goodrich All Terrain TA tires were mounted and balanced and installed, the truck was sent for a front end alignment. About an hour later, I was informed that a front end alignment was not possible.This is due to a recall warranty repair that was done on my truck in April of 2019.It concerns what is termed as a Drag Link Assembly.The problem is explained in a 8/2019 NASIP bulletin as follows,The outboard steering linkage jam nut(s) could loosen,allowing one end of the drag link to separate from the adjuster sleeve. A drag link separation can result ina loss of directional steering control, which can cause a vehicle crash without warning.The repair for this is to weld 2 points where the jam nuts could loosen.When I received the notice for the recall repair in 2019, I promptly set an appointment and the repair was completed in a fair and professional manner. I admittedly, did not ask a lot of questions then. There was a recall, I scheduled it, and my dealer completed it. Problem solved?Or, so I thought.So, now I have $1,600.00 dollars of new tires on a 3/4 ton pickup truck that I purchased to tow a large camper, that cannot be aligned, unless the recall warranty repair from 2019, meaning busting the welds that effected the repair are broken. Then I assume, the welds will be replaced.The dealer said I needed to set an appointment with the truck shop but I was at a point where I felt I needed to hold off and seek information concerning this problem.That research found that this is not an odd occurrence. I found on several sites reports that were submitted to different agencies with the exact same issue. Four new tires, cant align the front end due to the voluntary FCA recall repair.I sent 2 emails to the dealer, sharing my concern as well as surprise, if this is the final fix of this issue. Its no secret, there are plenty of other cases out there. So, my question is this. I am supposed to place my life, and those on the roads and interstates around me safety, at interstate speeds on those 2 welds for the life of the vehicle?As well, every time I need an alignment, I assume (cause no one has responded to me) that the welds will be broken, the front end aligned, and the welds re-established. And this is adequate and safe over the life of the vehicle?When alignment is done, does the recall incur the cost for the welding?Lastly, are those doing the welding at the dealership certified welders?I asked for a call from decision level management on a specific day, and received no call on that day or otherwise.When I purchased this truck, I purchased the full extended 7 year or 100,000 mile warranty. In my mind. either as an ethical company, or in accordance of said warranty.Either FCA, Shelors or both, should make this right!By right, I mean, effecting a final repair on the said recall issue that not only takes care of the issue in a way safe for the vehicle to be used for its intended purposes, towing big stuff without the fear of the 2 spot welds on the drag link coming apart.But also, that regular maintenance on the truck can be performed, without having to break another repair to do so.Is this too much to ask?My relationship with the dealership has been pretty good up to this point. A mis-communication or drop in communication or two. But, more than satisfactory up till now.Would I recommend anyone to Shelors in the future?The Jurys still out.

WHEELS RUBBED AFTER ROTATION; CONFUSION ABOUT MVP PLANI have been going to Shelor for maintenance on my 2018 Jeep for the past two years. I purchased the MVP protection plan from Jeep that pre-pays for my all oil changes. EVERY TIME I have to have an appointment for this - 2 weeks out! This is NOT CONVENIENT at all. EVERY TIME I use the MVP plan for an oil change there is confusion about how to apply it. There is always an unnecessary delay. Apparently, the service reps are not fully trained on the process. During my last visit, I had my tires rotated and only drove a few feet from the service center when I heard a loud rubbing sound coming from my front wheels. UNACCEPTABLE. An appointment for an oil change and tire should not take 2 hours.

I have Been to shelor several times for the same issue, and have had some really bad customer service with a some of the employees in services, however, since being with Al Durham, the process finally went smoothly. He was on top of the issue, informed me of every detail needing done keeping the communication open, and is a very knowledgeable and humble person.Everytime I schedule An appointment from here on out, it will only be with Al. I feel that Al Makes a large contribution to the overall success of his department through excellent productivity and effective communication. Dropped truck off for a transmission service, due to hard shifting. Was told that transmission fluid and filter was lifetime and didnt need to be done. Authorized a diagnostic of transmission to rule out any faults. After being there all day was told that they could flush the transmission. Then get another call saying they could not and they wiuld have to drop the pan to do the service. Now this was after being told that it didnt need a service due to lifetime fluid. Seems to me that the service adviser needs some more training. Getting the run around all day just isnt any fun.

Our salesman was an absolute professional!! I think his name was Caleb. He brought our vehicle into a enclosed bay to allow me to look at it and cleaned the snow off of it. He warmed it up for us and gassed it up for us. He went above and beyond for us. I forgot a birthday gift in the trunk of the car I traded in and he had a driver bring it to my husband’s job, along with the paperwork for my husband to sign. We came from Chatham to buy our Jeep. The repair of my Jeep was done in a prompt manner. I was kept informed of all findings and no work was done until I gave my approval. Since I live away from the service department, I was able to drop off my Jeep one evening and pick it up the evening the work was completed.I was sent a link to my invoice and I was able to pay online.All in all, it was a good experience and I will be bringing my Jeep back when or if it needs more work.

Not good. After getting a call from them that they finally had the part which had been recalled on my vehicle in stock (which took almost a year)...I scheduled an appointment to have it replaced. After waiting for an hour they told me that they didn’t have an appointment scheduled for me nor did they have anymore of the parts. I live an hour away so they wasted 3 hours of my time. I was told by an employee on my way out the door he had seen this happen before, so apparently they already knew there was an issue within their system but failed to correct it.

I am very disappointed in the service of this dealership and it began as soon as I dropped the car off. I got an appointment on Monday at 8am where they asked me what the issues were. My car has had a few on and off issues, so I started listing them out that way my car could have a thorough look over. It was not until listing the third item that I wanted them to look over that the woman told me each one would cost $98. As a college student, I decided 3 was enough and walked out knowing best case it was going to cost $300. Later that day, I get a call saying they were going to fix two problems which would cost around $350 to fix one and $470ish to fix both. They told me the parts would be there first thing the next day and I could most likely get my car back by noon on Tuesday. Two oclock on Tuesday comes and I still hear nothing so I give them a call. They now tell me that the truck with my pieces is MIA and they need to track it down. At 3pm, they tell me they wont be able to give me the car until the next day because the truck is coming first thing in the morning  and theyll do my car first. Wednesday at 1pm comes and I still have not received a phone call so I call them. Now my car is ready, but their computer system is down so she is unable to tell me the final price before I go over there but by the time I get there she can give me the car.  After dropping off the car at 8am on Monday, I do not get my car back until 2pm on Wednesday AND the bill is almost $1000??? When I had called the night before about a coupon being applied, the lady told me she could not find one but to go on the website to find one. Lone and behold AS SOON as I look on their website there is a coupon for 10%... Too tired to deal with it anymore, as I am driving home Thursday, I give them the 10% discount, pay the now over $800 bill, take my car, and leave. As I am driving on Thursday I have an issue with the Bluetooth on my five hour drive home multiple times which they had supposedly said was fine. I am extremely frustrated by the lack of communication and I am pretty sure they barely fixed my car as one issue they did fix malfunctioned in my drive as well. I was also not compensated at all for them keeping my car for almost 3 days. DO NOT GO HERE. Save your money, go somewhere else, and go somewhere that will actually make sure your car works!

Took car in for an annual inspection and for them to look at door panels that were coming loose. (2018 Charger) Nathan Biggs was very helpful in getting the car looked at and ready in the time that I asked for it to be completed. Since it is a warranty repair, it will have to go back, but I see it to be another smooth process. The only inconvenience that I had was that the shuttle service was not operating due to COVID. Other than that. Thumbs up to all of them in the service department.
