Oil change was fine. Definitelyon the pricier side for a full synthetic. Wouldn’t go for any other services for my car. I asked for a bulb replacement and they said my headlights were fine. My bulb warning light is on and one of the right headlights is noticeably dimmer at night.

SHODDY OIL CHANGEI took my 2018 Tacoma in for its 20,000 mile service (including oil change). A few days after, while driving, I heard a rattling sound from the bottom of the truck. I crawled underneath to discover the skid plate bolts not only had not been tightened, but were cross-threaded, damaging the threads of the welded nuts on the skid plate bracket. This made re-tightening the skid plate impossible (it is currently loose). The photos show the weld nut threads damaged (silver threads).I discovered oil all over the skid plate, and oil dripping from a skid plate bolt. I now have to find out whether the drain plug was torqued properly, as well as proper installation of the o-rings, filter, and filter cap.I will also have to waste my time bringing the truck BACK in to verify something that should have been routine. Oil changes are the most basic maintenance for a vehicle, but apparently Shelor Express Service cant even train their technicians to FASTEN A BOLT PROPERLY.Its going to be an interesting discussion today...and Ill never be able to trust Shelor to do an oil change without sliding under my truck before driving away...ToyotaCare and Shelor service is a complete joke.I hope the service manager reads this!

I understand this building is first come first service. The hours are fine, 7am-6pm. I’ve approached this building 4 different times within the last 2 months for a state inspection, brake work, etc. I didn’t purchase the car from shelor but I’ve heard great things about the staff. Every single time I went to the Express Lane, the advisors were super friendly & helpful, but the wait time was outrageous. They were very apologetic and recommended the best times to come which are early in the morning. Every time I approached them, no matter what time, it was 2.5-4 hour wait. The Express advisors said that they are short staffed and the building seemed to be at a stand still with new hires. I understand times are tough and people don’t want to work, but to me, this sounds like pisspoor upper management. The Express manager, Dean? I believe was his name, absolutely so incredibly friendly. He also explained to me that their building is short staffed and things just are tough. I just think for a corporation THIS BIG, something could be done. The advisors l seemed stressed out and exhausted. They are weary of telling people how long the wait time is because of the backlash. I doubt this review gets anywhere but something needs to be done. I’ve worked in automotives in my homestate before and understand the process of how things work, so I understand better than the average customer… the average customer does not. EVERY TIME I’ve come up, a customer is throwing a fit at the wait time and the staff just have to sit there and take it. Unacceptable. Upper management needs to do something or needs to be replaced. I doubt I’ll take my business here in spite of how, in my opinion, upper management is running this place.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. There was a special running for 49.99, I knew there was an upcharge for synthetic but didnt know how much amd wasnt told how much upfront. Was just told it was a little more so I agreed. When checking out it was now $95.00 instead. Talk about bait and switch. Outrageous.

I am new to the area and had been very stressed about where I was going to get my vehicles inspected. I found Shelor Mopar Express Lane. They took very good care of me. The service representative is very professional, answered my questions, and made me feel welcomed. Everyone is wearing their mask.Their waiting room is extremely clean. Social distancing seating is in place. I will be back for the other services I need.

Courteous staff, no charge checking tire pressure due to weather change. Offer notice of upcoming needs. I was fairly sure Id need new tires soon and was given print outs of several choices with reasonable prices.

Waiting room is very bright & clean, and has plenty of space for social distancing. Mask mandate is being respected & all employees were wearing masks.Friendly & performed the vehicle inspection in the time estimated...about 45 minutes to an hour. A couple people were ahead of me in line.

I called ahead of time to make sure of the price before I went to get my oil changed, tires balanced and rotated. When I got there the people were friendly enough but advised me the coupon on the website which offered an oil change for 14.99 was only for our Pulaski location but we will give you a great deal. The coupon was on the Christiansburg page with the Bristol Drive address, obviously for the purpose of confusing people. I left with a bill of $108.87 feeling totally taken advantage of and will not be returning. My husband and I have bought multiple vehicles from Shelors and this isnt the first time we have experienced the deception in their advertising. What a shame! I will also be making a phone call to someone at Shelors. It may not do one bit of good but maybe I can spare someone else from the same mistake I made in trusting them to be honest.* I am pleased to be able to change my review. A manager returned my phone call and kindly offered me an apology and coupon for future use to make things right. Im sorry that it happened but so thankful for his response.

Pulling up to the place the service was great very nice and welcoming but watched my truck get inspected and watched a guy kick the bumper of my truck because my licences plate light was out. You do not kick someones vehicle!! Then stood around and played on their phone for 5 minutes every 5 minutes and dragging feet. Inspection took a hour and a half and almost made me late for work when other state inspections take 30 minutes. Never coming here again and express lane is a joke.

Went in for my free State Inspection and was told would be about would be about a hour and a half. Was correct on time and got my new sticker.

Went in to have bolts replaced on my skid pan. Very friendly and helpful mechanic. They didnt have the right kind of bolts for my car so he strapped the plate in place with wire wraps and sent me on my way without charging me a thing! If I lived around here I would definitely come back for regular services.

Quickest service in Christiansburg.

Almost 2.5 hours to get my oil changed. Never again. They werent busy. It wasnt a weekend. No excuse. The worst thing was that no one even pretended to care. No apology, no explanation. This time, honestly, Ill remember how useless they are so that, in three years or so, I will not again give them another chance like I did today.

Went to have a tire replaced, which was ordered the week before. They informed me the tire would be delivered between 10a.m. and 12 a.m. that day. I get back at 11:30 a.m. the gentleman did a search for the tire I was shipped the week before, delivered to the wrong building. Got my vehicle in the shop quickly to rotate the tires and replace one. During the rotation the tech let the jack handle slam into the side of my vehicle. They call a gentleman to come and pull the dent out. I was never apologized to from a supervisor nor did the supervisor come to speak to me about the situation. Very poor service. I left the service station around 3 p.m. that day. From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a tire chage and rotation.

I will never go anywhere else.Car repair and service centers always make me nervous. I dont know anything about fixing vehicles so I have to put my trust in the people who do. For the last seven years, Shelor has proven themselves to me over and over again. I have never felt taken advantage of and have always been treated fairly and respectfully. They dont waste time and if they make a mistake, they let me know about it and they make it right.The only thing I would say is be skeptical of the frequency with which they ask you to have your tires rotated. Dont take their word for it. Check the manual that came with your vehicle or review your car manufacturers website to find out how often it should be done.

They have a great setup for busy people. For routine maintenance, you are in and out in no time. Staff are eager to please. The waiting rooms are quite comfortable. If you need more extensive service, its easy to schedule an appointment. And love working with Melanie B!! She explains issues well, gives me good options, and has my back. I know my Subaru is in good hands with them.

The people on the phone are really nice, however, the time estimate is a complete lie. I was told my wheel alignment would take 1.5 hours. Instead I waited 3 hours for them to even look at my car and another 2 hours just to do the wheel alignment. I came in at 9am and didn’t leave till 2.Secondly, they say they have snacks, when really they don’t have anything except a dirty coffee pot, and cheap styrofoam cups. DO NOT plan on sitting in the waiting room unless you want to be stuck waiting here for 5+ hours.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

My daughter and I highly recommend Shelor Mopar Express Lane for coming to the rescue after business hours in our time of need. A plastic part under the engine was falling off. Alec and Gary Barker stayed after hours to help secure the part to our car. These two men went beyond the call of duty for us. They explained what the problem was and showed us what was wrong. They reattached the part so we could continue our trip to Los Angeles. Thank you so much for your incredible Customer Service!

No one was social distancing or wearing a face mask. When they did have a face mask on, it was over their chin or neck. Lady that checked me in was about 2’ away from me with no mask. I decided to go to Valvoline where they are taking it more seriously.

Had my truck serviced and work was good. But when went to pick it up, I was kept there an hour after they had closed (8:00pm) over a billing issue that an employee had made then went home. Good work but the way it ended did put a bad taste in my mouth

I took my car to be serviced at this center for routine oil change on 8/17. The technicians said the oil change went well everything was great with the car.On 8/25 my oil light came back on. And I took the car to another local shop in Christainsburg because this service center is closed on Sunday. The cause of the leak was a damaged gasket that was placed on the car. The car had been slowly leaking oil for 7 days. Now the bottom of my car is covered in oil. And I’ve had to pay for 2 full synthetic oil changes in less than 7 days.I am severely disappointed in the service I received from shelor on 8/17.

I attempted to call multiple times prior to driving there after being told for 5 min by automate system I would only a minute hold routed to automated system again. Upon arrival at the express center I asked about a state inspection an tire rotation and oil change. At first could not give me a definite answer an then the front asked a mechanic and stated it would be after 5pm before it was done an it was currently 1:30pm. I said ummm ok how long for just state inspection again I was told about 3hours. I said ok can I get a shuttle ride then an was told they didn’t have it there on sat. At this point I left frustrated. Don’t waste your time with the express lane it’s a joke. Just set up an appointment at least they will provide transportation with in reason. Before this so called express lane never had any trouble with shelor. Extremely upsetting and would never recommend the express lane. Just simply don’t waste your time that don’t value it

I called Shelor to get a tire for my new vehicle that i bought there 2 months previously. I called to find out price of tire and was told they would have to call me back. They never called back. I called again to order the tire and was asked who I talked to. I could not remember and asked Can I give the information to you His response was Well, I guess you can like I was bothering him. When I finally found out the price and was told they could put it on, I asked if it could be put on the next day, I was then told I said you could bring it tomorrow again like I was bothering him. I am so sorry now that I did not get the name of the employee. If I could have purchased the tire elsewhere I would have. I called the next day to see if the tire was there so we could get the tire put on. I talked with Amelia. She was excellent. She found out that there was no record of my tire ( I am not surprised by this after the dealing with the employee the day before) but would check the incoming truck. If it wasnt on that truck she would order it and have it later that afternoon. But only thanks to Amelia and her great customer service I am buying it from Shelor.

Wait was longer than stated.

I drop the vehicle here today and has been noticed I can grab my vehicle around one and half hour. But when I come back like 2 hrs later. I found my vehicle is still waiting and no any work on it.I wait for another 1 and half hour for my vehicle🙃But when I get into the car. It so dirty even it cover the plastic cover(but it looks make non sense). Someone help me roughly clean the vehicle but still some dirty on my chair.I have been here at least one time every two month but never received any experience like what I have today. So disappointed.

Tell me first they want to replace 4 tires, then want 100 bucks over list at Walmart for one. Tire that needed replacing had broken a sidewall belt. Other 3 were fine.

I was visiting in the area and my rear, drivers side window got stuck DOWN. Not good, considering it was going to start snowing in the next couple hours. I went to Shelor and they were great. Stacey was my service advisor and she got it fixed in just a couple hours. Saved my weekend and the interior of my Ram pickup. Thank you!!

Express lane for oil change is not like a quick lube where it takes about 15 to 20 minutes. They told me it would be 1.5 hours for an oil change. Change the name to oil and tire service, take the express out of the title.

I took my WRX in for an inspection. I reset my boost gauge beforehand and after getting it back it looks like someone really got on it. Inspections dont require require 15lbs of boost. Looks like they go for joy rides in customer vehicles. Very much not appreciated.

Went for a state inspection and specifically asked if they could put air in the tires which they said yes of course, then afterwards when I get in my car the air pressure light is still on so I get out and check and the tires still obviously have low pressure and turns out they passed my cars inspection with a nail in the tire!!!
