Dave’s Ultimate is an awesome place to have maintenance, oil change and repairs done for your vehicle. I’ve been going there for 5 years-since I moved here! I spent years taking my Honda to the dealership believing they could perform the work correctly to the brand specs and price. I was WRONG. Daves Automotive is now my Go TO shop for all repairs. First, I dropped my car off on a Thursday with an appointment scheduled for Monday. They had my car diagnosed and estimated the next morning. An extremely reasonable estimate. They had my car repaired by Monday afternoon. Absolutely amazing. If you are on the fence about taking your car to an outside shop, do not, I repeat, do not hesitate to take it to Daves Ultimate Automotive. The only possible issue I see is if they are inundated with repair orders because of their quality AND professional repair work. Make your appointment now. Everything is scheduled ahead and drop off only due to covid, but they make it work.It was simple to schedule an appointment and someone got back with me quickly to confirm their availability.Drop off was really smooth with staff ready and organized. I did anxiously call later in the day just to see how things were going, after taking me they would call me back shortly with a quote... they kept their promise by calling me back about 15 minutes later.I couldnt make it to pick up my car before they closed, so they were able to take payment over the phone and leave my keys in a drop box and receipt in my car.Their team was polite and professional making everything seamless. I plan to go back again.

My first time using Daves. Everything went smoothly and I really appreciated the text notification for recommended service/repairs. Staff was friendly and COVID safety protocol was top notch as well.The only reason Im not giving a full five stars is because this was just a routine maintenance. I reserve that cherished fifth star for when a company goes above and beyond the call of duty. I plan to continue using Daves, so maybe the day will come when they have the opportunity to earn the prize.

Great find for an oil change and tire rotation last minute during the holiday season. I got an appointment within my time frame. The front staff was so accommodating and friendly. The work was done within the time given and the price was very reasonable. There was no attempt to get me to add unnecessary extras which I greatly appreciate. As a female that is often the case. Their location is good for passing an hour as I walked a short distance for lunch. I highly recommend this business.

I went here recently because there was something wrong with the front end of my car. I had recently removed some custom wheels as I brought the car back to stock, but I couldnt seem to figure out what was wrong. They did the balance rotate and alignment as requested, found the issue, corrected it and did it all for (even if I hadnt gotten a new customer discount which i didnt even know was coming) very reasonable price. The young lady at the register was very polite and professional and the older fella that I got the impression runs the place was simply factual (rather than judgmental) even though what they corrected was a seriously bush-league error on my part. Super effective. Would blog about again.

The Cedar park location has always taken great care of me. Roisheria and Michelle always make sure to explain in detail the issues going on with my car and what i should fix & why. When i am not able to afford it all at once they recommenced the order of importance. Went to Daves with a muffler issue thinking it would need to be cut off and a new section welded on ... but they managed to reshape the muffler through heat treatment which I thought was quite innovative.

Had excellent service, they were able to take care of my car quickly and it was cheaper and easier than where I have been going before. Will definitely be back again.

Being able to trust your mechanic is critical. I have found Michelle at Daves Automotive to be very trustworthy and frank about the things that need to be addressed with my cars and trucks. There is no free lunch. Repairs these days are costing more, but again having a trustworthy mechanic is indispensable and Daves has exceeded my expectations.

Great experience at Daves ultimate automotive! Professional staff, kept me informed every step of the way, and didnt try to make me spend more money than necessary. This was my first visit to this shop, but wont be my last. I was very impressed.

I got my car maintained here on 7/5/19 around 3 PM. The tiny customer waiting room was hot and I couldnt bear the heat within 15 minutes. I waited for 45 minutes, and then mentioned it to the office staff. They told that the AC was broke, and they couldnt do anything about it. But there was one pedestal fan in the waiting room but they didnt bother to offer it to me. The fan continued to direct the air towards the couple of staff members, and they didnt even bother to turn on the oscillation so that I too could get some air! What an indifference to customers convenience? From the reviews, I dont doubt their ability to maintain and repair cars well. They probably did a good job on my car too. But their insensitivity to customers comfort was appalling.

I never feel pressured to have maintenance done that Im not ready for, and theyre totally honest, even when it means theyre referring business to other companies to save me money. Michelle is an Amazing! The entire staff is great but she went above an beyond! Constantly kept me update on my car. Quickly responded to emails and phone messages. Any other issue that came up I was given several options and we discussed at length my best choice. I dont know if I will have this car long but I definitely will refer everyone I know to Daves. They diagnosed the issue with our AC but only offered a full system replacement. Their diagnostic report is great, though it’s also clearly digging for work highlighting anything that doesn’t look perfect and not just the things that are impacting function.2 stars for a price that was 3 times the cost we had it fixed for by going to Adam at Dollinger Automotive.

Have been going to the shop in Cedar Park for a year and a half and could not be happier. The staff have been great, and I believe the work is honest and professionally done. I was surprised at my latest trip there to find that they would drive me home and come back and get me after my shocks were repaired. Very pleased with my experience there to date.
