Took my BMW to Lindsey for a oil and battery change. They got me in day of and did the job for a good price (as compared to another local European garage and the dealer). The waiting room was comfortable and the coffee and water machines were nice. They even washed my car after. I’ll be back for sure!

First time taking my 335i E90 in for service prior to trying to sell the car since I wanted the next owner to enjoy the car as much as I did. The AC, check engine light and brake light needed service. They were able to resolve the problems at a reasonable price. I will continue to bring all my BMWs here. Lindsey Bimmer assisted with an oil leak on my 5-series and helped prevent that leak from becoming an expensive endeavor. I also had them perform a transmission service at huge savings as compared with the dealer quote.The team was courteous, prompt, and really knows their stuff. Josh, the owner came out and expressed his passion for helping customers and keeping our cars beautiful and reliably on the road. He highlighted the importance of proactive work that prevented huge expenses down the road.The best part is when he said some of the work dealer had highlighted was not necessary right now and something we could revisit in the future. I have built and repaired every generation of BMW made and can say without a doubt this is the only place I would take a car to if I needed help. I was in a bind on my wifes X5M and just couldnt get a repair done. Josh welcomed me in and Scott dug in immediately. They even allowed me to buy the oem part online and bring it in to save a little money.These guys are amazing, if you want it done right and prices way below others, bring it in.

I have been getting most of my BMW repairs done at German Auto Center (Chris is wonderful), but after the last repair cost me $735, I asked them to do a thorough inspection to make sure nothing else was going on. They said I was in the clear but lo and behold, not even a few days later, I started having issues with my transmission! Needless to say, it was time to try a different place.I stopped by this shop on my way home and was so glad I did. Most places wont even look at your car, they will say they have to take it in and diagnose it before they can give you an idea of whats going on (which all I hear is money money, find problem, money money, fix car), but not this place. Scott was working on a vehicle when I came in but stopped to ensure I didnt wait long. He heard my issues, then went to hook up the scanner and gave me an assessment right there based on my symptoms. He even addressed the issue with my idler pulley thats been going on the past few months!It was a breath of fresh air to have this kind of attention and prompt answer to my problem. Im certain every issue may not be this easy, but I appreciated Scotts knowledge greatly and am looking forward to having them work on my X5 in the near future.

I took my 2013 335i in. This was my first time to use his service. I had an appointment and and hour later I was driving home. They fixed a few more items than I thought I needed and changed the oil and still got me out quick. The prices seemed fair(as BMW prices go). I will definitely go back.

Everything you want; quick, courteous and thorough BUT most importantly, honest. I took my 430i in for her 60K checkup and was not overcharged or sold unnecessary services. I drive a lot so she hit 60K very young. They were super honest and didnt do all the the services and were upfront that they werent necessary at this point. This was my first time with Lindsey and I am now a loyal customer.

I called here after being treated horribly at the Mercedes dealership and I couldnt be happier. The dealership refused to tell me what service B entailed and talked down to me when I asked about it. I called here and not only did they explain it to me, they were able to get me in right away. I thought I would be sitting around for hours, but they gave me a loaner while they did the work. When I came to pickup my car they told me everything they did and let me know I was getting close to needing to flush my brake fluid but I would be fine until the next service appointment. This place is by far a 5 star shop

Only place I would take my BMW!

I have finally found a great BMW indie repair shop on the north-side (i.e. north Austin, Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock area). Lindsey Bimmer Service just finished replacing a cracked/leaking valve cover, a worn tensioner pulley, and a leaking oil filter housing gasket on my e84 X1. The work performed was first-class, and it was done very quickly. Josh, who I assume is the owner of the shop, was very upfront and accurate with his quote (parts & labor) for the repairs. At no point did Josh try to upsell me with an unnecessary coolant flush, or a fuel injection service (obviously these are legit services when needed) – I found this hard upsell practice to be commonplace at many other indie shops over the years, but not at Lindsey’s. While this shop is probably not the cheapest indie mechanic in the area, their specialized knowledge, experience and quality of work rivals the local BMW dealer (and Lindsey Bimmer Service is a heck of a lot cheaper than BMW of Austin). I highly recommend this repair shop for all of your BMW repair needs. FYI, they also service other Euro manufacturers, and I’m sure they do a great job with them as well.

My Mercedes C-class had a emissions problem and Lindsey auto repair ran diagnostic test and fixed it fast.The auto was kept very clean inside and out, I will have new brakes put on my Mercedes the next visit to Lindsey.

Top notch auto and customer service!I highly recommend taking your BMW to Lindsey Bimmer Service. I tried them out a couple of years ago for a starter replacement. Josh did a great job repairing the vehicle and also found me a reasonable towing service to get the car to his shop. Fast forward to recently...I had some issues with the vehicle idle and stumbling after replacing the valve cover gasket myself. I was getting numerous error codes and Josh diagnosed the issues and fixed some of the problems with the vehicle. He was very understanding that I was doing a lot of the vehicle work myself, and made honest recommendations to get the car running right. I ended up having his shop replace the water pump and thermostat, along with a brake flush for a very reasonable rate.After taking the car back home, it was still not running right, but Josh stuck with it and had me bring it again for additional diagnostics. He quickly found the vacuum leak issues and repaired the vehicle for me. I was able to get the car inspected and registered the very next day.I cannot say enough good things about Josh and his business. A truly honest guy that will shoot you straight. I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle there and would recommend Lindsey Bimmer Service to anyone that needs work on their car.

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had at a car repair establishment! They went above and beyond to properly diagnose my car and correct the issues. The communication was great and I DID NOT feel like they were telling me that I needed unnecessary work done. As a single woman who knows little to nothing about car repair, I cringe when I need to take my car in. I actually had my car sitting in the garage for over a month when this most recent problem came up because I was dreading taking it in and wondering if it would be fixed or if I would have more problems than I started with (like the last 2 places that I went to). I rarely take the time to write reviews, but the service here definitely warrants the effort.

I wish I could say i had a pleasant experience, but I did not. When I first called, I spoke with Josh. Seemed very friendly and gave me an approximate price to replace a part that has to do with the transmission. The approximate price was $900-$1000. I was good with that and dropped off the car. I had to call and follow up with them the first day. The second day they told me it would take them seven hours to do the work. I reminded them what I was told upfront regarding the cost. The third day, I again had to follow up with them. They did not call for an update. The forth day I did not call them, nor did they call me. On the fifth day I called them to check the status. They told me at about 9:15 in the morning, that they would get it around noon. I received a voice message at 3:30pm saying the car was done. How did they do the work in three hours, when they originally told me it would take seven. But much more important, they actually were going to charge me for the full seven hours plus labor, to do the work they did in three hours.I called on Monday to talk to Josh about this. When I asked why he was charging me seven hours when they only worked for three. His response, The book says i reworded my question, So you only actually worked on my car for three hours, but you are going to charge me for seven hours? His response, Yes!They did not even replace the part that we had originally discussed that would have brought the price to the $900-$1000 so I thought it would have cost less overall. They still charged me over $900, you know, for seven hours labor instead of admittedly only working on my vehicle for three hours. I gave them my card information to pay my bill and they said they would leave the car out front for me to pick up. They did not. I drove all the way up there, only to find my car locked up inside the building. I had to call them again, the next day to get them to leave my car out so I could pick it up. They left the keys in plain sight, even though I asked them not to. They did not even give me a receipt as well.They charged me for work, they admitted to not doing. What else do they charge people for that they dont tell you.

I bought a 1-series convertible last year. A friend told me he takes his BMW here, which is much closer to me than the dealer on McNeil. Ive had my car to Lindsey Bimmer several times now, and Im always confident theyre keeping it in top shape. They always tell me what needs to be done and get my approval before working on it, and the pricing seems to be significantly lower than what the dealer charges. If you have a BMW and live in the Cedar Park/Leander area, you should really consider Lindsey Bimmer Service.

My wife and I have used Josh for about 3 years for our 2005 325i since moving to Austin. I have had misc work done, oil changes, fluid changes and also had a leaking head gasket replaced. He always provides clear options and an objective opinion.Bottom line: His service is good, prices are fair, and I have never had to return the car because something was not done correctly. That said, I did have to return one time when I realized I put his laptop power supply in my briefcase :-) He took that in stride.

MERCEDES TOO!!!My A/C stopped working the other day. The red light blinks 5 times and it will not blow cold.I looked around Cedar Park for a local shop because my E350 is out of warranty. I spoke to another luxury automotive shop in Cedar Park, and they diagnosed it over the phone and said that my compressor was bad and the repair would start at $2500.00. Most of the reviews for Lindsey are for great BMW service and I have a Mercedes.I went in and spoke to Clay. He was very nice and informed me that the computer shuts the a/c compressor off when it sees a problem. Clay assured me that they had the proper diagnostic tools to read and repair Mercedes. He said lets take a look and see whats wrong. The problem turned out to be too much freon in the system. This car has only been repaired by Mercedes of Georgetown. Josh said it needed to be evacuated and recharged to the proper level. The car blows colder now than it did when I bought it 10 years ago. I was charged for a recharge and that was it.Josh and his team have won all my business from now on.

I used to go to PMW Austin but after I found Josh, I started going to him. Not that PMW Austin was bad, they are good too. But Josh is even better. Many times, Josh simply took a look at the problem, suggested something but didnt charge me anything. I like his honesty (and of course his knowledge about BMW as well) very much.

I have taken my 1998 740il to Josh many times over the last 2 years since I bought it. Each time he told me the truth about what was wrong with my car and in some cases fixed stuff for free. When my car started running terrible this past week, I took it to Josh after going to the dealership.. Within 5 minutes he figured out what it was and beat the dealerships repair price by almost $1500. Best of all, I didnt have to make an appointment, he took me in and I had it back the next day by 2pm.Josh is super nice, and always helpful in pointing out things you might want to get fixed before they become a larger problem. I am happy to say he has my highest recommendation and I will always take my BMWs to him as long as I own them. 5 stars!!

Lindsey Bimmer (and now European Auto Repair) has always been really good to us, even when the repair bill has been high, theyve been honest about what was wrong and why, and why it was worth doing something more while it was all open. I highly recommend them.

The dashboard in my car was showing that there is a leak in coolant system. The shop charged me around $90 and replaced a little sensor. I drove home. In a while, the dashboard still showed a leak and the level of the coolant was considerably low. I returned to the shop just to be told that the coolant reservoir had a leak and charge me again this time around $350. They should have fixed it the first time and not charge me twice for the double labor! I will not be returning.

Talked of trade today. Went well. Everyone broke N2 Broke Down and Died...Laughingg!

I have an older model BMW, 2001 330Ci. It was having an issue and was in need of service. Owning 4 BMWs over the years gives you an appreciation for a good and honest mechanic.Before I look online for the local Beamer Know It All I log into Bimmerfest (I am a member) and get into the forums to find the solution to the issue the BMW was having. I got the answer online. I knew the problem and solution. So I find Josh at Lindsey. I make an appointment and bring the car in. I describe the issue with the car. Josh looks at it for a few minutes and informs me of the fix. Im thinking okay here we go were gonna find out how good he is. Well it turn out he is very good. He knew exactly the issue and the fix. Reasonably priced, honest, quick, etc etc.My opinion is you cant go wrong if you bring your car to Lindsey. I know my 330Ci is in good hands when there. If your looking for a good and reasonably priced mechanic, give Lindsay a shot at it, You will be happy you did.

I had them adjust my coil overs and do an alignment on my e90! They did a good job and were very reasonable to work with.
