I had such an easy, smooth, and all around great experience picking out my now fiancés engagement ring. Kirk was a massive help during the whole process, I thought it was going to be a huge headache since I was planning everything 3 days before going to the Dominican. Luckily Kirk was willing to go the extra mile in the short amount of time I gave him. What a joke. I bought a $3800 designer ring from them and decided to bring it back in to sell it a year later. Platinum ring with embedded diamonds. They told me the best they can offer is $250! Robbery I tell you. Clearly have no respect for their own work and obviously ripped me off when I purchased. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your jewelry. Preferably somewhere they don’t have a 1500% up charge. Highway robbery.

Bought a vintage engagement ring $1400 and ended up not proposing and they said they’ll take it back for $500.They values the ring at $1600 when I bought it but they would only pay $500 for it. Pretty dishonest and the lack of integrity is unprecedented.UPDATE:the rep from Longs Jewelers called me after reaching out to tell me that this offer was more than fair (they offered 40% of the ring value). and they funny thing is that the sales rep told me that Im getting a great deal when I was buying the ring the stone itself worth more than that.dont buy from people like thatSECOND UPDATE:Please don’t twist my words. It’s true it’s been two years now, but I came over within the first year and the ring was still in the box since I never proposed. When I bought it you guys said take your time and anytime with in this year I should be able to return it if nothing happened.And now I’m stuck with it.And for the trade in, yes you would trade it in for another way overpriced item from your store but to give me a cash you offered $500.Also, this ring was valued with a piece of printed paper that you guys printed out as the diamond certificate for $1600 which is a scam. Judd is amazing, He designed my wife the ring of her dreams for our 10 year anniversary, and found me a wash that is virtually impossible to get. Every time I go in the rest of the staff is so friendly always ask him to take my ring and watch to clean and check them. Completely awesome experience! We went for their wedding band event so we knew there would be a lot of people and really werent sure what type of service wed get. The knowledgeable staff at Longs truly do put their customers first. I had the pleasure of working with Nicole to replace the sterling silver chain for my 93-year-old aunts Celtic cross necklace. Nicole checked in the back room and found the perfect chain in the perfect length, not an easy task since my aunt is very particular and she wanted an EXACT replacement for her original chain that broke. Then Nicole replaced the clasp with larger fittings to make it easier for my aunt to fasten, at no extra charge. While I waited for the modifications to the chain, I observed other sales agents helping other customers with purchases large and small. I was impressed by everyones courtesy, their knowledge of the merchandise, and their skill in offering customized solutions that could help customers get exactly what they wanted at a reasonable price.
