Let me start by saying that the staff was very friendly. I dont normally write reviews good or bad but sadly this was probably the worst hair cut Ive had in my 37 yrs. All I wanted was a one length all around bob right below my chin. It was SO uneven, I dont even know how someone would allow me to walk out like that. The girl was so nice so I feel bad but I basically left with a mullet which I had even told her that it was uneven and the back had to be cut more. I thought she did, although I wasnt even shown the back of it before leaving. There were chunks of hair longer than the other in multiple spots that werent even cut. They didnt even put hair product in my hair before drying which I found odd as well. The other thing is that they dont allow you to tip on your card which should be told over the phone when making the appt as most people dont carry cash on them these days and usually can on a card. They have an atm there which charges you a fee AND they seem to disappear when you need to ask for change cause I dont want to tip 20 on a bad haircut but still do as a service performed and the stylist was friendly. No I did not contact them to have this fixed because I dont want them touching my hair again. Maybe she had an off day, I dont know. Im sure there are good stylists there just not this time for me. I ended up having my boyfriend fix it are did a better job and he doesnt even do hair.

My experience at Capello Downtown was absolutely perfect. Everyone was kind and welcoming; Shannon and Lisa were absolutely outstanding. I am looking forward to my next appointment- my hair and nails STILL look great, and it has been almost a month! You are a VERY talented and refreshing group of professionals that I would refer to anyone. See you all soon!

This is a fantastic salon in downtown Buffalo. The service was friendly and professional from start to finish. I am completely happy with my cut and color provided by Steven Sebastian!! He was able to listen to my ideas, make suggestions, and execute the plan flawlessly! While there I watched every client walk our with gorgeous hair from each of the stylists. I genuinely didnt see one unhappy customer male or female. This salon lived up to the other positive reviews and exceeded my expectations. Thank you Capello. I look forward to coming back the next time Im in town.

I was in town for a wedding and made an appointment for an updo. Lurleen did an excellent job. She listened to what I wanted and made sure I was happy before I left. The appointment was on time and very efficient. The shop was clean and the staff friendly.

Im giving it 4 stars because I had to wait a little over half an hour to get serviced but I had a great experience and love my haircut. I would definitely recommend this salon to others.

Bought my girlfriend a gift certificate here, she wanted to get her hair died a deep purple. She told this to the staff on the phone when making an appointment, but when she arrived for the appointment was told they dont carry vibrant colors. The gentlemen said he could get it close-turns out close was a fuscia like pink. Thats not close to a deep purple. He also did not bleach her hair prior to putting in the dye (she is a brunette) and only put the color over some blonde highlights. Nowhere near worth a premium price of $200.

Capello salon on Franklin Street Buffalo New York was the best experience, it was my first time at this location with Capello Salon. After I had went to capellos salon on Transit Road in the Delaware hotel and was given a very bad experience, the staff at the capello salon in the Delaware hotel did not give me a good experience. When I made the appointment a few days ago they did not advise me of what I would prefer to have a male or female for my massage. So when the massage therapist came it was a male. I asked if I can have a female instead I was told that no other staff was available. My experience with this location was very poorly. I looked for another location and found the downtown location which was a very helpful very welcoming experience, my experience at this location was amazing the staff was great and the owner/ manager Lisa was amazing and she gave me the best and made up for what the other location did to me.

Walking in I was amazed at how clean and professional the staff was! Very friendly and a great atmosphere! Love how the salon is decorated and how the pedicure station is in a different room😊 Most Importanltly my hair and toes turned out fantastic by Marie Petrucci!! Highly recommend it here!!

I took my mother here as a treat, we finished about 5 minutes ago and I was inclined to write a review to set the record straight. Ive read some negative reviews on this place but it is absolutely amazing! We both got massages, manis and pedis. Not only were they very affordable, but the staff was extremely professional and so kind. Trent was our masseuse and Katie-Lynn was our manicurist. They were both perfect ! Trent was funny, attentative and made you feel comfortable. Katie-Lynn was such a sweetheart, easy to talk to and she made it very relaxing for us.. They both did. I would definitely recommend this place and we will most DEFINITELY be coming back. Thank you guys for the great service !!
