I called ahead to see if a friend of mine & I could get in at a certain time(They were closing early apparently) They were very accommodating and got us in and out. One employee seemed to be in a hurry to get out of there and made it slightly uncomfortable, but the other was very nice and even warned us to stay a little longer so our nails would dry and not mess up. Id recommend if you just want a quick and quiet nail treatment.

Had a wonderful experience here. Very clean and wonderful service. The people are very nice and do a great job. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Went in for a pedicure and will definitely be back for more and other services. They arent pushy, just very positive and welcoming. Cant wait to go back!

I just moved from BK to Buffalo and I am happy to find this place. That took one burden off from my shoulder about moving, finding your favorite grocery store, sushi delivery place, Vietnamese sandwich, a branch of your bank and nail salon. The parking was easy around the salon with metered parking. The guys were decent on their work. I got cuticle care and top coat on the nails and pedicure on the toes. They look good. I hope I will have equally nice experience next time. A little bit pricey, but better than not finding a good salon with gross toes. The check-in offer has been expired for 2 years, so dont even bother.

If you can actually get your nails done, its a good place. They are not always open during the hours they say they should be. There are times where you can make an appointment and they will either be closed, or already turned their equipment off. But if you get there while they are open they will take care of you and do a good job. Theres not a lot of staff so there may be a wait. I also wouldnt suggest going here if you are doing something with a large group. When I do come for my gel pedicures they tend to last about a month which is great.

WORST PEDICURE OF MY LIFE, BY FAR. First off, I felt incredibly uncomfortable the entire time because the woman who was doing my nails had a god awful attitude. She was also very aggressive which resulted in her cutting my toe, causing me to say “Ouch! That really hurt!” out loud. I shouldn’t have paid for that, I debated getting up & walking out the entire time. If it wasn’t pouring raining I would have. I’d give this dump of a “salon” negative stars if I could. STEER CLEAR.

I have had great pedicures and manicures many times at the Allentown Nail Salon. They do a great job and are very accommodating.

I had been a long time customer, and then I called to schedule an appointment and havent gotten an answer in a couple of months, I gave up. However, when I did go there 95% of the time I left happy because Anne always went above and beyond the other nail salons that test you like a fast food restaurant. I keep trying to find a salon now and no one can match the level of service at Allentown nail. Every time I go to a salon my nails are not done to the same quality. Theyll be too thick or thin and break in days... too much money to spend my hands look as if I have been beating bricks. I am only giving it 3 stars because I assume theyre closed I have been trying to find a suitable nail salon.

Checked the website and it says they’re open 11-5 pm on Sunday. I called multiple times to schedule an appointment and the lady mrs An was so rude. After the third time calling she finally picked up just to tell me she’s done with appointments (even though I called at 2). She ended up hanging up on me. Lost a potential customer. Will NEVER give this place a try

First of all, these negative reviews make me really sad. I feel like a lot of the people reviewing don’t really seem to understand the type of shop Allentown Nail Salon is. I think it’s worth noting a few things:1. There are only two people who work here—a husband and wife team. Making an appointment for more than two people is probably inadvisable, because they simply don’t have the man power. I’m sure you could do it, but it’s not like a place at a mall where you’ll get in and out quickly.2. They take their time to make sure your nails are perfect. I’ve actually talked to Anne about this—she says she would rather take a long time and turn away a customer who came in for a walk in just to make sure everything is done right.3. I don’t get acrylics, so I can’t speak to that service. However, I get gel nails almost once a month here. Every single time, the polish lasts for at least three weeks, sometimes upwards of 4-5 weeks! That is amazing to me. At most places, it lasts for 2-3 weeks max, and even then it starts to chip.4. Yes, they have a young child, as another reviewer mentioned, but he is super sweet (and older now). I admire them for running the shop on their own and doing a good job, all while having to pick him up from school, etc.The bottom line is that this is a small shop that can only handle a small client base. It’s hard to get a walk in, especially in the summer, because there are only two of them. I recommend calling a day in advance or even the morning of the day you want to go. They have a direct line to both of their cell phones. You might wait a little bit when you come in (even if you make an appointment), but it’s worth it. I love it here, and I truly wont go anywhere else, because this is the only spot where I’ve consistently gotten a good manicure. Honestly, I think I’ve only written maybe two reviews in my life—I wouldn’t write such a glowing one if I didn’t feel so strongly about how amazing this place is; you just have to have realistic expectations about what type of shop it is and the services they can provide.

Had an appointment for 4 women to get pedicures together as a celebration. The salon told us that they could accommodate all of us. Waited 45 minutes to even get in a chair, and they had to start two of us while the other two waited because they were taking other customers. I really felt like they knew we would wait if they got a few of us in the chairs and didnt care that we wanted to all be together. Not cool at all. Pedicures were nothing spectacular and the polish was chipping by dinner so they clearly dilute it. Super disappointing.

If I can give it a lower rating God knows I would. Very disrespectful and lack basic costumer service. Go spend your hard earn money somewhere else.

You can make an appointment well in advance or walk in. You cant make an appointment 30 to 60 min prior. They need more heads up.

I am so disappointed with this establishment. There was no one there when I got there on a sunday around 1 the woman at station 4 took years to set up then it took her 2 hours to do a simple full set and by the end of the night 4 nails in total came almost clean off... I have not called because I am so upset I dont even want to set foot in that place again I was there for 3 hrs and change for the worst nails in the world. ever.

Tldr; Made an appointment for 4 people over a week in advance. At time of appointment shop was closed. Called phone number on window. Was rudely told no one would be helping us.First of all, If I could rate this business 0/5 stars I would. I have been here multiple times and each time my experience gets worse. I dont expect a lot with a nail salon.The final straw wasnt when i was up-charged for a service I didnt receive (delux vs regular pedicure), or when my friend got an infection in her foot from an ingrown nail that was incorrectly taken care here, or when they trimmed my cuticles so short I was bleeding from a few fingers. All of these separate instances I chalked up to poor luck or me just not speaking up as a customer.However this past Sunday I had a shocking new level of awful to add to my list of experiences here. In a classic fashion my girlfriends and I wanted to get pedicures on a Sunday after brunch. In an attempt to make the day as carefree as possible I called to make an appointment after seeing that they are By Appointment Only on Sundays. Easy enough, I was able to call and schedule a 2 pm for 4 people. This was booked over a week in advance.The day comes and 4 people are standing in the 90* heat outside of a shop with a Closed sign on the front of it, no one inside, and no signs that anyone was there. I called the Cell number posted on a piece of paper and taped to the inside of the door. No answer. I called again, no answer. I figured third times a charm. and called one last time.A man picked up, which is strange considering that a woman owns this establishment, that is who the cell belongs to, and I have never seen a man working in the shop, but whatever. He says hello? and I awkwardly explain that there are 4 people waiting outside of their shop for the 2pm pedicure appointment. Yeah, we closed was his response. I explained again that I understand they are normally closed on Sundays but they are open By Appointment and I had made one for today at 2 pm (roughly ten minutes ago by this point).He again answers Yeah. No, We closed. For confirmations sake and because I dont find it worth my energy to argue with people over the phone, I repeat my explanation that there are people here who made an appointment which is what was recommended, we talked to someone and they confirmed an appointment with us at time of booking, and even after we did this that we would not be taken care of at all.He answers No, we closed. So I hung up and will obviously never be going to this establishment again.Im honestly a bit sad to see the only nail salon downtown be so careless with their customers. Especially ones that are returning for services, time and time again.

I just left this place i got at there at 5:45 there were 2workers and only2 customers one was geting nails and the other was getn there feet done they told me it would be an hour before I can even get seen and they were not nice about it all like who spends an hr on one persons nails and on top of that you already started smh bad customer service and all this was my very first and last time ever going to this nail salon in my life never ever again waiste of time energy and money!!!!!!!!!please do not waiste your time going to this nail place people.

I wish I could give a lower score. Where to start? It was about 45 degrees out and about 90 degrees inside. The male staff tried to turn on the ac and he was yelled at. They took people that came in after me before me. The other customer tried to let me go but they said no. All the nail polish has been thinned to the point that it is a mere hint of color. I had a hard time finding one that would even show up. The lady filled my nails and when she was done it looked like they were a week or two grown out. She not only didnt fill them all the way, she didnt paint the gap to hide the fact that she didnt fill them. All this leads me to believe it was intentional so I would have to come back again sooner to get them filled again. They take credit/debit for payment but not tip. Most people under 50 dont carry cash. Guess no tip for you. Either take the card or dont, not this silly policy that is currently in place. The owners 3 year old kid ran around like a maniac without any reprimand. Knocking down partitions, wacking things with a broom, running with sharp sizzors, messing with the dremmels, you name it. Not a relaxing experience when Im worried about him hurting himself, or him hurting me. Thats a law suit waiting to happen. One week and one day after the visit my nails polish is chipping and bubbling and looks terrible. Ive gone 3 weeks without one chip before when my regular place does my nails. I would never go back and I would want anyone who is considering going there to think again.

Cant advertise that your establishment is open on Sundays from 12-5pm and not be open. I drove from the other side of town expecting you to be open and it was after 1pm. I didnt even receive services but I will not recommend your business to anyone. First impressions last a lifetime, needless to say I was NOT impressed.

The deluxe spa pedi is the way to go, be sure to call and book your appointment however.
