From start to finish, working with Brenda was a breeze. Brenda was professional, responsive and accommodating. The Cottage at which I stayed at EXCEEDED expectations. It was beautifully situated on the water and was exactly what I was looking for - a quiet retreat. There are too many amenities to name and so many personal touches with the thoughts of guests in mind. Did I mention - Beautiful?! I will definitely return and would not hesitate to do business with Brenda again.. She is honest, professional, and a very warm personality with a quality product A++ Brenda’s rentals are the place to stay near Bar Harbor and Acadia!

We recently completed our fifth stay at The Cottage. Needless to say, we really like it and Mount Desert Island. The Cottage in the perfect location for exploring the island as well as the nearby mainland as its centrally located to our favorite Acadia National Park hiking trails, restaurants, farmers markets and the little museums that dot the area. Its waterfront location is quietly located away from the busier of the island and provides nice Frenchmans Bay views as well as water access. As far as the Cottage itself goes, its seasonal nature seems perfect for a Maine vacation. The main floor feels like a typical Maine cabin and we love the enclosed porch for water view breakfasts and sunset dinners. The downstairs addition is a comfortable place to relax and watch TV. Of course, the new second bathroom and the laundry are convenient and we hate to admit it, but WIFI has been nice to have also. Add all of that to their willingness to allow our dog and the Cottage becomes the perfect place to base our Acadia vacations from.

Had our first,and we hope not our last,trip to the cottage this Sept. Weather was great and the cottage is very convenient for Bar Harbor,the Acadia Park and mainland.Nice walk especially at low tide.Make sure you complete the jigsaw! Ken
