KT just finished a master bath gut and rebuild in my townhome.I was initially a little intimidated by KT’s approach, which is here is the Labor cost and you source the materials. But for the major items - cabinets, stone, plumbing and shower glass, even hardware - KT has recommended and local sources who were great to work with.Kalev and his team were dependable and responsive. They were considerate about the natural debris and dust, cleaning up each day.My bath came in on budget and on time - any delays were related to supply chain for the plumbing and glass and out of their control.I’m very pleased with the remodel, the quality of the work and the experience.I’ve already recommended them to a neighbor with the same (old) bath and will use them to do my guest bath.

We used Kalev to completely remodel our bathroom and we we definitely hire him again. Our house was built in the 1920s and has uneven floors and plenty of other unique characteristics. In February 2020 We hired Khalev from KT Tile to renovate our bathroom. The project was completed on time and on budget. He and his team totally met and exceeded all of our goals for the bathroom. The best part of working with Khalev were the excellent suggestions he had about design- these suggestions saved us money and looked great. We went from a very cramped bathroom to something airy and luxurious. It’s been two months and I still can’t believe how nice the bathroom is every time I see it: the results matched our tastes perfectly and exceeded our expectations. If only every home improvement project went this well!!! Khalev and his crew were fantastic, and I would gladly hire them again for a bathroom project.

Weve redone two bathrooms (at different times) this year. Our only regret is that we did not learn of KT Tile sooner, so they could have managed both projects. Their efficiency, precision, and attention to detail left us amazed. Tile is their background and their years of experience shows. Our floor tile of choice was intricate with lots of little grout lines; their finished product is immaculate. In fact, three weeks later, I still find myself admiring grout lines and niches. What we appreciated most was Kalevs knowledge base and his thoughtful recommendations. For example, epoxy grout - no one had mentioned it before! He communicated well and was quick to respond (even when off the job site) when questions arose.We cant thank he and his team enough. They were patient with our toddler spectators, efficient, problem solvers, and delivered a product we couldnt be more thrilled with.

Kalev was excellent. He provided great design details (I had not thought of with this project) because of his knowledgeable and experience. The shower is beautiful and looks better than the rest of the bathroom! His men were very professional and polite. We asked him to look at two issues which were resolved without hesitation. We are very happy with his craftsmanship. We will definitely be requesting his services again!

We worked with Kalev after getting three other estimates. The work included some major plumbing repairs, followed by complete remodeling of two bathrooms and our living room. We chose Kalev because he had creative ideas, was open, honest, and easy to work with and, importantly, he was personally involved in most of the work. His original estimate was very competitive and as new things came up during the project (as they always do), it was easy to come to agreement on a fair price. We will certainly work with him again on future projects.

Kalev did a great job installing tile floors throughout our entire basement (including 2 closets under the stairs, a bathroom and utility room) at a perfect 45 degree angle with a random offset pattern! We chose to use him over countless other contractors as his pricing is more than reasonable and quality of work is outstanding. We recommend him to anyone who is as OCD as we are to make your home complete! We plan on hiring him for all our future tiling needs.

Since this was our first home remodeling project, we were quite nervous about it at the beginning and we wanted to find someone to do a right job. After comparing the quotes from a few contractors, we decided to work with KT tiles. In the process Kalev gave us helpful suggestions, which turned out to be quite nice. We contracted with Kalev to do a number of tiling renovations for us. He retiled our foyer, laundry room, and two bathrooms. He completely renovated my bathroom shower by moving a wall, installing new tiles,and constructed a truly functional shelf in the shower. Every job was done to perfection. What was especially impressive was how straight and carefully grouted the tiles were. He painted three rooms and is a very good painter. I plan to use him again. Kalev is extremely meticulous which means no squabbling about rework like we have encountered with previous contractors. I highly recommend him.

Kalev, aka The Estonian was the most intelligent and forthcoming of all the bath remodel contractors that I interviewed. He is finishing up our master bath remodel now and has involved us every step of the way. We are very confident that we hired the most competent guy.Tiling appears to be second nature for Kalev and he is adept at the various plumbing, drywall and bath fixture challenges as well. He is even helping us navigate purchasing the frameless glass shower enclosure and avoiding the so-called Annapolis Pricing surcharge.I did a ton of research beforehand on Wedi and Schluter tiling systems as well as the old-school alternatives. Kalev is actually certified in both systems as he completed courses to earn certification and hence demonstrates a real and professional comfort level with either. His wife, who manages the admin, even got certified so she can respond accurately to prospective client inquiries.Youll find all kinds of tilers and remodelers through Googling, Angies List or from In Home Tile or Atlas Tile but most references are slick sales guys who just turn around and sub-contract the work, or are dumb hillbillies with inflated egos or there is something sketchy about them that you just cant put your finger on, i.e., we even discovered one on the Maryland Judiciary website who was involved in litigation with clients and the same tile supplier who had provided the so-called reference.Kalev The Estonian was mid-range with pricing and the smartest, most honest of all contractors---you can not go wrong with KT Tiles. Kalev immigrated to America from Estonia with his then girl-friend now wife, and $100 In his pocket at age ~18. A US citizen now, he exemplifies the hard working and honest character with whom we all want to be associated. Seriously some of these tile people are idiots and shysters, dont take a chance, make sure you interview Kalev too.
