Our new kitchen-family room exceeds all of our expectations. The custom design created by Star Kitchens has brought perfect lighting, inviting space and ample storage to the center of our home. Everyone working on this project was very professional, talented and friendly.

I have used Star Kitchens in the past for small projects but this time Richard has outdone himself. I purchased a home recently that had a very outdated kitchen, Richard came in and we designed the kitchen of my dreams. For each detail he was very attentive and patient to my requests. From start to finish it was a pleasure to work with Richard and I would never hesitate to refer him to my friends. See photos from before and after below.

Remove and replace counter top and kitchen sink, Once started the process was quick and complete. No fault of Star Kitchens that Covid hit full song a week after we put a deposit down so there was a long delay to get started.

Rich and his team did an excellent job on our recent kitchen remodel. He was very easy to work with and he took a lot of time to go over every detail with my wife and I. Not to mention the clever layout design he came up with made great use of our limited space. Jim also did a great job installing everything, I was very impressed with his craftsmanship. A few years back Star Kitchens fully remodeled my kitchens from floor to ceiling. The end result was exactly what I imagined down to the smallest detail and the reason for the 5 star rating. The remodeling process always takes longer than you want it too but if the end result is what you wanted, you accept that process. With the exception of one subcontractor, the Star Kitchen crew were great to work with. Thank you Richard!

Richard and his crew just finished a complete kitchen remodel and we are very, very pleased. Tile floors replaced with hardwood, dropped ceilings removed and new cabinets installed, electric upgraded to code, granite counter tops and tile back splash. Done on time and done well.Richard is very practical and helpful with suggestions on design and materials. Jim and John were great and kept the site clean and neat at the end of the day. The electrician and floor/tile installer were great, helpful and very professional. They have all been working together for more than 20 years and really compliment each others efforts (and respect each others abilities) A major renovation that was much less painful than expected due to the skill and attitude of all involved.

Star Kitchens did a great job on bathroom renovation. Rich was very helpful in making our ideas a reality. Communication was great, and they were very flexible with our timeline. I would highly recommend them.

Ive worked with Star Kitchens from quite a while back. My first experience with remodeling a kitchen and a bath with a different local contractor was not a great one, but, Richard was just the opposite of the first. I got a good listener and what I wanted. I had a budget, which Richard not only honored, he offered suggestions on how to save money.Since that first experience, I have used him for some heavy remodeling and other projects. Each time the results have been spectacular. I have no reservations about recommending him to anyone.As we speak I have contracted with Richard for yet another project.

I needed 6 work tables resurfaced. I called around and the job was too small or I did not get any follow up Except for Star Kitchens. They called me back promptly, and got me an estimate. When I scheluded the work, the crew were professional and went out of there way to work around all the clutter and activity we had going on at the time. They did a professional job in budget and our time frame. I highly recommend them!

Great experience! We are thrilled with our remodeled kitchen and other improvements in our new home. All work was done efficiently and effectively by experienced people. Everyone was responsive to our questions and suggestions, and felt free, in turn, to make thoughtful suggestions. We have been very pleased to hire Star Kitchens to handle two kitchen projects and one bathroom project during the many years we have lived in our present home. They are efficient and prompt and friendly; they provide helpful design ideas and suggestions. We had a water leak in our kitchen which involved mold removal and even replacing ceiling in our basement after there was water damage there, too. We highly recommend Star Kitchens.

Richard at Star Kitchens certainly knows his product line. He has many cabinet styles and finishes available in a range of prices. His kitchen layouts are thoughtful, functional and flow freely.I presented him with a problem kitchen that was very cut up by doors windows and even a chimney. His knowledge of reduced depth cabinets made my kitchen better than I could have hoped. In fact--the solutions to the problems were very pleasing to the eye and afforded me a spice cabinet that I hadnt considered. Richard is innovative!He is also penny wise and not pound foolish. He knows how to get you the most bang for your buck. His use of matching sheet material for finished ends to the cabinets saved me allot of money and look great.As a contractor I have ordered many kitchens from Richard. A couple of years ago, Star Kitchens and Bath remodeled a kitchen for us. Because of their excellent quality of work, we had them renovate our bathroom recently. Richard Bussey and his crew are such a pleasure to work with. Richard is extremely knowledgeable, and gave great advice and direction when needed.

We wanted some vanities replaced in the master bedroom of a house we moved into 2 years ago that was built in the late-80s. We were referred to a company by the contractor who did our renovations, but he was not responsive and never seemed very interested in the project, as their were some quirks in the set up. After much wasted time, i called Richard at Star Kitchens because i had a relative who worked for him and spoke very highly. He responded right away and came and took measurements and gave me a very reasonable estimate. When the cabinets came in his foreman, Jim did the installation masterfully and coped terrifically with the various problems caused by the original installation. We couldnt be happier with their work and recommend them highly. 2020 update: We remodeled the kitchen during the pandemic and Star did a terrific job with the cabinets and countertops/tile. Rich helped us with every step (and it can get quite involved) and the work was 5 star. We had a few minor issues after the work was completed and Rich came back personally to take care of them and make sure we were satisfied. A pleasure to work with this company and i would expect to use them again for any similar work.

Rich helped us plan our bathroom update while keeping within our budget. His guys did a great job and were a pleasure to have around. When we needed work done in our kitchen, we went back to them and they did another great job.

Our bathrooms look amazing and we enjoyed working with Richs team, especially Jim who is a true handyman.

Richard Bussey and Star Kitchen came through for me in a big way when I was desperate. A plumber who I had hired to replace my old sink with new Stainless did not recognize that the Corian counter might need to be cut for it to fit. When the new sink didn’t fit, he advised me to find a specialist certified to cut Corian and left. After many calls I found Richard who arranged to have Jim come out the very next day! Problem solved, except new sink was dented and didn’t fit tightly on counter. Second sink arrived in same shape (a week later). Jim managed to come up with new stainless out of their inventory and get it installed. I love my new sink from Star Kitchen!They put the same amount of effort on installing my kitchen sink as they do on entire kitchen renovation! And what I paid for all this effort was extremely reasonable! Thank you for your quick response and persistence in installing my little sink. Cheryl Hoyt

This is by far the best dim sum place in the US, even better than the ones in NYC and SF. The shumai is so good it makes me bite my tongue . The dinner food after the dim sum hours is also good but try to avoid the szechuan specialty dishes since the chef is clearly better at Cantonese, Minnan cuisine(or southern type chinese cuisine in general)
