After months of searching on Houzz and multiple consults, we were ready to throw in the towel and look for a new home. Thankfully I stumbled into a friends home who had Brickhouse work in their kitchen, and I was intrigued by how Lindsay reconfigured their kitchen space. We love our home and it’s location but the kitchen was too small and the layout was just not working for our family of 6.After meeting Lindsay, I felt confident that she understood what we needed. Lindsay is extremely tasteful and has a great eye for design. I liked how she had different styles portrayed on her website, which assured me that she would be able to execute a style that I liked.Three months out and we are still in shock that this is actually our kitchen. Not only is the layout much more functional with twice the amount of space with an island to seat all 4 kids, but it just looks absolutely stunning. We didn’t compromise looks for quality or function either.The cabinets they use are top notch and Brent’s carpentry skills and attention to detail were on full display. I am so grateful to be on this side of the remodel with absolutely no regrets.

My husband and I hired Brickhouse last year when we were ready to remodel our 1890s farmhouse. Our goal was to keep the character of the home but add modern updates. We worked with Lindsay on the design and decided to relocate the kitchen to create an open style living space. The new space feels light and spacious while still maintaining the old house charm. We are now planning on hiring Lindsay and Brent to add a bath adjacent to our master bedroom. Were really excited to move ahead with their ideas. We recently remodeled our basement, and it was important to us to work with a contractor who could help us figure out the best layout for our space, provide design expertise and recommendations, and perform quality work and craftsmanship. Lindsay and Brent are a talented team and helped us achieve all of these things! We worked with Lindsay to figure out the best layout for our needs, and she helped us select products, finishes, and colors that resulted in a cohesive design that fit our budget. Brent came in for construction, and is a talented craftsman who is very precise and detailed in his work. Our basement turned out beautifully and includes a home gym, office, upgraded bathroom, and an open living/entertaining space. The open living/entertaining space includes a wet bar with custom cabinetry, a television feature wall with custom cabinetry, wainscoting/chair rail detail, built in shelving, and open space for a game table and pool table. They both have a great eye for design and suggested fun details to make the space unique. We are very happy with our experience and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others!

Brickhouse did a design and build of a bathroom remodel for us in an Eastport bungalow...the space was odd and difficult to work with. No matter. They heard us that we want simple but elegant that fit in with the vibe of the rest of the house. Lindsey has an eye for and it shows inthe final product. Perfect design perfectly executed by Brent. The craftsmanship of the final produce is superb...highly recommend.

We hired Lindsay and Brent a year ago to complete a whole house remodel. They were very responsive with attention on our budget and timeline. The space is well designed and the craftsmanship is impeccable!

We hired Brickhouse to remodel our 1930’s center-hall colonial home in Severna Park, MD. We started planning in 2014 for the project and decided to do the design and work in three phases, completed over three years. This was our request as we wanted to live in the house throughout construction and take our time with the design for each phase. This is not typical for most large scale renovations but is just one example of how easy Brickhouse is to work with.The scope of phase 1 of the project included gutting the basement to the foundation. Rebuilding the basement with a guest room, full bath and laundry room. HVAC was reworked and electrical heavy up was completed.Phase 2 was the reworking of the main floor including gutting the kitchen and creating new openings in structural walls. They installed custom Amish built cabinetry. The cabinets are beautiful and reasonably priced! They are the first thing people mention when they walk into our house.Phase 3 was a full remodel of the master bath, hall bath, and walk in closets. This required gutting the entire interior of the back of the house to move walls and borrow space from closets to make the layout more functional.Lindsay and Brent treated our project as if it were the most important work they had ever done. In fact, I felt as if we were their only client -- for each of the phases. I couldnt recommend Brickhouse more highly.
