I booked an appointment online for some relaxing “momma time” after the birth of my daughter. I showed up on time and was sat in a pedi chair (super comfy). It was all downhill from there...a crew of guys showed up and started removing all the pedi chairs one by one. My relaxing evening turning into a war zone with loud banging, men swearing, water all over the floor, and I was holding my breath as they slowly made their way to the chair I was in (see the picture, all the chair we’re there when I arrived). I’d have gone elsewhere had I known what was about to transpire but I was already started...they should have NEVER allowed me to make an appointment or notified me to reschedule!The women who were doing my mani/pedi were very apologetic but definitely rushed. My mani was done while I was getting a pedi so I couldn’t even try to relax and read my book.Then it comes time to pay and I was suspicious about my “deluxe” mani pedi because it was fast...like Andretti fast. Yeah, it wasn’t a deluxe but not to fear they wanted to charge me full price anyways. I pushed back a little and got a whopping $5 off (which I tacked on to my tip because it wasn’t the techs fault).If you’re thinking of going here don’t. Plain and simple. They care more about their money than service and should have never let me spend my one night with a sitter in a construction zone.Off to get a glass of wine now...or two.

This is a pretty nice place. Looks very clean. I made an appointment for a deluxe pedicure online and was greeted and seated right away. Everyone was very nice. The gentlemen that did my pedicure was nice and very thorough. He did a good job on the polish and cleaned up my rough feet pretty well (I usually have to go home and go at my heels a little more). I will say the one problem I had is that online it said the deluxe was $40 and I got the gel polish so thats usually a little more, but by the time I left I had a $70 bill. Im not one to dispute at the counter, so I paid. But, I was a little shocked at the difference there. Id come with more money than you were expecting to pay, but the service was timely and done well.

This salon was great, and definitely reasonably priced. The staff are super friendly, take their time, and keep the salon in top shape. I recently moved to ann arbor and needed a new nail salon I could trust and I definitely found the place here. From what I hear, this place is way better than what it was when the old owners had it. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to feel comfortable, welcomed and leave with gorgeous nails!!

I had the BEST first experience here today! I have been to 6 nail places in Ann Arbor (just moved here) and this was by far the best. Super clean, super friendly staff, beautiful interior, and Ike did an amazing job. After explaining my hesitations with dip, he assured me that if it is done correctly it is not thick (I don’t like how when I tried it once before it was super thick and looked like an acrylic) and is way better for your nails compared to gel. He was not at all pushy and let me decide which one I decided to do after discussing pro/cons to both. I decided to give dip another try. He took his time and was extremely meticulous and they turned out to be amazing!! I am so excited to go back for when I need my nails done next. :)

Great technician, bad place. I wanted to like this place, but after many bad experiences I will not be coming again. Im quit shocked at the positive reviews this place has, to be frank. But they must all be around a year old, because in the past 4 months this place has been terrible. There is nothing worse than waiting when you have an appointment and this has happened to me multiple times,. I had an apt to fix a poor nail job by the owner herself and I waited for two hours for them to fix 3 nails.Today I made an apt for 5:30pm, they sat me with my friend friend who was getting a pedicure and even though I reminded them multiple times that I had an apt at 5:30 for a manicure they kept saying someone will come to get you. They never came to get me. I ended up going up front and reminding them that I had made an appointment and it had been an hour and forty-five minutes. Finally they did my nails. Victoria is a great nail tech, but my mood was so sour after being constantly ignored at this place that it was hard to enjoy them.Then my friend came up from her nails and they literally looked like she did them herself. When I went to pay I asked if they could do something because the wait was so long and the woman said, you wanted to stay with your friend. I couldnt believe she was blaming me for them never attending to me! She is the owner, too!I always see people waiting and theyre never happy. Ive also seen people get up and leave because they are so upset with waiting even after having made an appointment. I wish they were honest when I make appointment s, if they dont have time to do the appointment, then say so! They also take returning customers for granted so my guess is that all the positive reviews on here are from first time customers, not long time customers like me.they also prioritize pedicures over all else. They will make you wait forever if you dont get a pedicure and theyll try to upsell you without being upfront about there prices. The owner is extremely disorganized. And no one knows whats going on.Wish Victoria worked at another place, she is talented.Do yourself a solid and do not go here. I sure wont be.

I liked it here when I got my nails done a few years ago. The thing wrong with this place was that the technician left a little acrylic on my nail that wasnt supposed to be there. Other than that it was fine

Got a Gel manicure on Tuesday evening. The manicure itself was really rushed and not very good. By Thursday morning the polish on several nails had already chipped. By Friday the polish on 3 nails completely fell off. I paid $35 plus $6 tip for a manicure that didnt even last 2 days. What a waste of money. They should give me a refund!

Let me start off by saying I actually really like this place. Ive loved every pedicure Ive gotten from here, its clean, spacious, and all the equipment is kept up very well. The staff are very friendly and Ive always been charged a reasonable price for the service.That being said, I was pretty frustrated today. I called yesterday (a Thursday) and made an appointment for 3:15 pm on a Friday (today). When I came in ten minutes early for my appointment, the place was packed, not necessarily a bad thing. What did frustrate me was that after telling me to pick my color and have a seat, I waited for 30 minutes and no one said a thing to me. At that point, I could not wait any longer because I had another appointment at 4:15 and knew that my pedicure, once I was finally called back, would take longer than 45 minutes.I put my color back on the shelf at 3:40 and walked out, and again no one said a thing to me.I like this place a lot, like I said, but the one criticism I have is that if someone makes an appointment, please honor it. Walk ins should be allowed only after everyone who has an appointment scheduled has been seen to. In the future I feel like why even bother making an appointment? I didnt get the service I wanted and had to leave unsatisfied.

Had a great experience with Omar. He did a great job and was very friendly but not overly so. The front desk gal was charming and efficient. The salon is big, well decorated and seems cleaner than many. And the price was quite reasonable.

I completely feel like I was taken advantage of. I was charged $80 for the same work I can get elsewhere for $55. Who pays $80 for a full set with shellac? I’ve been getting my nails done for years and thought I would try this place out. Never Agian! The lady did good but definitely not $80 good. I didn’t ask for anything special either. Highly disappointed.

I visited this business today for a pedicure. The technician was awesome, super friendly and took his time with my pedicure. The price was reasonable and I enjoyed the massage chair as a bonus to my pedicure- will definitely visit this place again.

I was a regular visitor to Diva Nails for about a year when I lived in Ann Arbor. They were really great in many ways. First the salon is very clean and comfortable with even a little bit of a luxury vibe. Second the service was always great. My nails always lasted long and if they didnt, you could easily come in and they would fix them for you no cost. Third the employees were very friendly and especially if they recognize you would be extra attentive and nice. Always enjoyed going there and would definitely recommend them

I had a great time at my nail appointment. I was blown away by the customer service and willingness to take me as a walk-in just before closing. There were two sisters who worked there (I’m sorry I don’t remember your names) who were helping me pick out the right nail color. I really appreciated their genuine communication. I will be back!

Ive been here a few times and always leave unsatisfied, but since theyre so close to my house, I always go back. Well, not this time. My nails have many different shapes & lengths. I told the person that one nail didnt look good & he told me that he knew he couldnt do it. Well, the right thing to do would be to have someone that did. He wanted me to get square nails, but I wanted the coffin shape. Ive seen long & short coffin nails, but the only way he said he could do them was have them way too long. Im sorry, but if youre in this profession you should be able to do more than just square nails. I didnt even get an Im sorry youre unhappy, just an angry nail tech. Ill spend my money elsewhere next time.

I have been going to this salon for two years. Its really beautiful inside but parking can be a pain. The owner is a nice guy and keeps busy. I like when he does my nails because they never lift or fall off. The only issue I ever have is that pricing is never consistent. Sometimes Ill be charged 23 for a fill and sometimes just 18. When I get shellac on my toes a change is 25 but sometimes I get charged 30. Other than that the older lady who has her son also working pedicures is the nicest of staff members! She is so positive and I love seeing her there! Other staff members are alright not rude but not extraordinarily nice either. I send people to get their nails done here all of the time and Im always getting compliments on my nails! Im moving back to Idaho in a few weeks and Im going to miss Diva nails so I thought I should leave a review so people can come here too!

My mother-in-law treated me here the day before my wedding. I dont go to salons often and wasnt really sure what I wanted, so I took the advice of my nail technician Selena. She did a French manicure with a little bit of sparkle and my nails looked absolutely beautiful!They lasted through the wedding and a couple of weeks after, as promised. I was really, really pleased with my experience here. The staff was very professional and friendly and the salon itself looks great. Definitely recommended!

I am very disappointed with my experience at Diva Nail. I offered to pay extra to have a longer massage and he charged me $12 more, which would have been fine if the extra service was actually given. Afterwards, the nail technician left me in the chair without bringing me any sandals, leaving me to ask another employee. I kindly tried to explain to the manager that my extra service was not given, and that I felt I paid $12 extra for no reason. He didn’t make eye contact with me and failed to professionally acknowledge my concern. I won’t be coming back.

I posted this on Yelp too, but I want you to be aware of a scam that is happening here. I have gone to Diva at this location for years and usually I have been very happy with my service. However I noticed on the past three occasions I was charged more than what I was told. Significantly more to the tune of $10-$15 more. When I took the statements into Diva, I was told it was because that was what I tipped. However, I tip in cash so this is patently wrong. I wont be going back and Im on the lookout for a new nail salon. In the meantime if you continue to go to Diva, I would pay in cash or check your credit card statements very carefully. Keep your receipt. Let the buyer beware.I want to add that in looking at some of the other reviews, it appears I am not the only person this has happened to. So dishonest.

I have never had such a problem with a nail place before. They told me I couldnt use my gift cirtificate because it had already been used ( it still have $22 left). They told me they were charging my card $4 and when I checked there was a $24 charge. My nails didnt last long at all! I got acrylic nails put on. The second day my acrylic nail chipped. Very slow! Took forever! Dont go!!

Ive tried many other places in town and around the country... I really like this place. My nails turn out the best and they are very CLEAN.

I go to this salon because it is the closest to my house. The last 2 times my shellac manicure barely lasted a week. The last time I went the person who did my nails told me she did not want her tip on the credit card. Most of the time I do not have cash. This time I did and I gave her cash but I regret that now. People should not tell others how they want their tip. Im looking for a new place.

I got a pedicure and dip manicure. So disappointed with the dip manicure, it’s very expensive ($45) and the quality is sub par. There are plenty of other places that do a better job, don’t waste you money.

Last time I went there the girl who did my nails did not listen at all to what I said and when she applied the primer it burner my nails, meaning she filed my natural nail bed down too far. Also she put tips on that made more of a coffin nail effect and when I told her not to file the sides down she did very roughly. Im a licensed cosmetologist so I know how to do nails as well and have done nails in shops before I just wanted to have someone else do it so I could relax on my day off.

Super friendly staff, great service. Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes to be helped unless there is some large part ahead of me. The prices are decent, and the place is very well kept. I go there for pedis and eyebrow waxing. The pedis have always been wonderful, I would only take off points for the eyebrows... Its hit or miss. Never too terrible. They move very quickly, and it works for a few of the ladies but not all.

They did a nice job , especially now they have new people working there , they are very nice and their job is nice .I recommend everybody to go there ❤️

I used to love this place but that was some time ago. My most recent experiences leave a lot to be desired. Now, when I am there the staff yell back and forth to each other which makes for an non-relaxing atmosphere. Or the staff is texting/checking texts, etc. I remember a time when mani/pedis were relaxing.Twice the manicurist has cut me- OUCH. Besides hurting it kind of makes me nervous and I leave hoping Im not coming home with some weird infection. So far Ive been lucky I guess.The first time the gentleman doing my nails cut me he apologized, The second time? Not a word. Additionally,, when I get a pedicure my feet never feel all that much smoother- why bother? In my estimation one of the worst things is that they use a drummel sanding tool to remove nail polish and one time they even used it on my cuticles. This is not optimal for nail health. They are actually taking off layers of my nail bed when they do that. Ive never seen anything like it. My nails will need major TLC and ample time for regrowth to become healthy again. And finally, the salon looks unkempt. there are boxes stacked up everywhere and things strewn about. Ive noticed this downturn for awhile and kept hoping things would change but no such luck. Skip this place, save your nails and go elsewhere.

Im from out of town and went in Saturday evening with a few friends and got a powder fill and the charged me $50 which is expensive for a fill. Its now Monday morning and I have 3 nails already chipped. The french tips are uneven without one nail looking uniform. I am not a regular here but I am a regular at a salon in Okemos, so Im familiar with the process. Not only was this place extremely expensive, but also did a poor job. I want a refund.

Beautiful salon, but did not provide the level of service needed: a pedicure to help with calluses. After only a tiny bit of filing and asking for more as I pointed out how the spots were still rough, I was told that was all that could be done. It does not feel like I had a pedi at all; it actually feels worse, since the calluses were just roughed up a bit.

Felt very rushed throughout the whole experience. Acrylics are poorly done, theyre thick and uneven. Painted terribly, and extremely over-priced for the kind of treatment given. At my last appointment I had asked to get my acrylics removed, and they took them off very aggressively, destroying my nails. Not only did they ruin my actual nail beds, there is now a scar on the side of one of my nails where they had cut my finger during the removal. Do not recommend.

Made an appointment for 530 and was not even seen until 6. And then they rushed my pedicure, sloppy work. Completely unacceptable.

Great pedicure; but I also wanted a manicure and rather than wait til pedi was finished; the woman did my mani in a rush. Had to twist in the pedi chair to give her my left hand, mani chipped within 24 hours and I had to refile my nails as many were quite rough. In their haste to make $$, they lost a customer.

Got a really nice fill from here today! Kitty did a wonderful job fixing the acrylics I got from another place. I was also able to show her a picture of a design I liked on Pinterest and she quickly recreated them. They are beautiful and just in time for my 1 year wedding anniversary.Look for a pic of my nails today on Pinterest! Theyre silver sparkle ombre tips!

Horrible experience last night at Diva nails! I came in for mani/pedi and was given a chair when no one was available to start my pedicure but no one turned on the water so I could at least soak. The owner was not busy and everyone else was. I dont mind waiting as I didnt have an appointment but he could have gotten me started He came over to me twice saying someone would be right with me but never got me started as is usually the norm.When someone finally came the hot water didnt work and I had to move to my third chair. Other 2 were broken. I then asked to have my gel polish removed while getting a pedicure and was told no someone else is doing your nails. He proceeds to give me a half ass pedicure not even a base coat on my toes.I then am told Ill have to wait for a manicure even though the person who did my pedi proceeds to do nothing. At least he could have started to remove my gel. At this point they know Im pissed so after someone finally puts remover on they let it sit literally 2 minutes and use a dremel to remove my polish. The girl that did my nails was nice apologetic and professional however my experience was so shittty I wont go backI have been a customer there since they opened but I have tried A2 nails right down the street on Jackson. Brand new super clean and friendly staff.Edit..... Less than one week my pedi chipped. My last pedi from another salon lasted 5 weeks.... Never again!!!!

Today I was treated like many of the reviews here - very poorly. I have been a LONG time client of Diva (was a first at their Washtenaw location) and have spent a lot of $$ at both locations. I even gave the owners 2 cases of wine to utilize for their Grand Opening of this spot.I got shellac mani/pedi on Friday only to return 3 days later as one nail on my toes completely peeled off and 3 nails on my hands chipped. When I was getting the mani, I mentioned that the polish was too thick. Instead of taking off and starting over, Ruby just covered with another coat of a different brand in a similar color. When I returned today with my chipped/peeling nails Ruby blamed ME for the problem. She said thats why I told you it was too thick. Really?? Come on. Then she proceeded to tell me that that is why she said Three coats would be too thick. Truth is, she ASKED me if I wanted another coat and I said no, because I am already concerned that the polish was too thick. Ruby was clearly annoyed with me, that I came in to get them fixed. When I asked her if we could just re-do my manicure and she said no. After I said I would pay for it, I got what I wanted.This is really disappointing as I was one their most loyal customers. I will not ever being going back after this treatment today. Very unfortunate that this has turned into one of those salons.

Would never return. Stopped for a pedicure and the lady that did my nails cut the side of my toenail so short, dug down to cut skin, I jerked away and asked her to stop. Next day my toe is painful. I’ve been getting this done for years (not here) and have never had a problem.

Went in there yesterday, terrible service, the employees were very rude about re-painting my nails after THEY messed them up, wouldnt recommend, it was a totally different (and way better experience) when Frank was in charge.

I usually like this place but my last visit the nail tech barely spoke English and messed up my nails charged me way more.

Unfortunately very little detail to cuticles; therefore the manicure looked messy.

3rd consecutive appointment where I waited more than 30 minutes for service. Overall the staff do nice work, but appointments are scheduled for a reason.
