The male owner is absolutely meticulous when it comes to your nails. It will take you a little longer than your average place so be aware of that if you are on a lunch break or something.HOWEVER - my last gel manicure from here lasted an entire month (no joke) before it started to peel around the edges!

Tom was excellent. My gel manicure and pedicure was perfect! Tom was very gentle and kind. I greatly appreciate the attention to detail. Tom is a must!

Loved this place! Have gone twice, both times I have loved my nails. Linda and Paul helped me most recently. There was another gentleman the first time I went, I cannot recall his name but he was also so sweet! He was friendly and did an excellent job with getting my nails to be perfect! Linda and Paul also took me in for a really late appointment and stayed past closing time. It was all that I had available but they made it work. I really appreciated it.

Today was my first experience at A2 Nails Spa and I had such a wonderful experience! I called early this morning and they were able to fit me in for a reservation which was amazing considering how booked they were. Linda did my nails, and she was so helpful and meticulous. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it (HA!). She was so patient and took the time to show me what different dip powders looked like so I could choose. I will admit that the prices are more expensive than other salons, but in my opinion it was well worth it. Linda was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the salon was very clean. I would absolutely recommend A2 Nails Spa to others and plan on going back when I treat myself to another mani or pedi!

I recently came here for my first ever pedicure, and I loved it. The staff are very friendly and talented. They attentively checked the temperature of the water where my feet were soaking and consistently made sure we were comfortable. My favorite part of the pedicure was the callous shaving. This salon really gets in there and they did a great job.I didn’t get color on my toes but my friends did and theirs looked great. The leg scrub and hot towels were a pleasant step at the end. I would definitely recommend A2 Nails Spa to anyone in Ann arbor looking for a salon.

A2 Nails did an excellent job on my pedicure! They have massage chairs that you sit in as you soak your feet. Paul did my pedicure and was a very nice guy. He joked around and asked if I wanted to bite the heating rocks.. I didnt know what they were at first. I feel as if I received the royal treatment. Feet soak, pedicure, leg and foot scrub, lotion and cooling agent, followed with a hot rock leg massage, and a hot towel leg wrap they did everything. 10/10 would recommend. My silky smooth feet tell the story.

I was really optimistic about getting my nails done at A2 since they have such great reviews online. I requested shellac manicure, but the nail tech gave me a gel manicure! The photo you see here is only one week after my manicure!!! What a shame, just go some where else and save your money.

I saw all the reviews for A2 Nails and decided to follow the advice of fellow Ann Arborites and book a pedicure. I have been back 3 more times in a 2 month period — they are so thorough and good at what they do. I have had both Mary & Jenny and both give amazing pedicures — Jenny’s foot/leg massage is exactly what my 3rd trimester swollen feet have needed! The ambience is calming & massage chairs are a cherry on top. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed with the service here! When we arrived we were not greeted for several minutes only to find out they didn’t have any openings. When we arrived back later we waited several more minutes after our appointment time before we were directed to stations. We felt as though the staff were jumping back-and-forth between multiple clients and so ended up waiting a lot. The tech who removed my previous shellac ended up gouging my real nail with the drill head. I felt it burn right away and then again when she began using product. I’m just now posting a review because my nail was hurting so I removed the shellac only to find that it is still very raw, tender, and sore. We will definitely never go back to the salon again.

I’ve gone to multiple salons in the area and this one is definitely my favorite. I usually get shellac and am always so happy with it. They take their time and do an amazing job. Horrible customer service. First, I waited for 30 minutes after setting an appointment. Then, the manicurist tugged at my cuticles and got very aggressive and mean when I asked her kindly to be more gentle. When I asked that she make my nails more even, she started yelling, handed me the nail filer, told me to do it myself, and stormed away. Very unprofessional. Another woman who finally finished my nails did an ok job, except that my cuticles are torn up and my nails were left jagged. I regret staying to complete my manicure and wish I had left the moment the woman began to be rude.

Paul is the best in the business! He gives the best manicure and pedicures I’ve ever had. It is expensive (I actually have no idea how much services cost and the total is always a bit surprising), but the results are meticulous.

When we do our mother daughter days we always go to A2 spa!!! We’ve had manicures from Linda and Tom, Paul has done a few pedicures. Today Linda did my Toes! We will never go anywhere else unless we had to follow them! It’s a welcoming atmosphere and everyone is so kind. They are on top on the latest nail trends and are always able to do a flawless job!! I came here because the reviews on this place looked great! i had an appointment at 12. i got there & waited an extra 20/30 minutes to actually get my nails done... then the women doing my nails (i believe her name was linda? i’m not positive) insisted i had acrylic on my nails... i did not. i had dip from a previous manicure i had at a different place. i did not want acrylic on my nails, i wanted a shellac manicure. but this women REFUSED to listen to me & ended up putting acrylic over my natural nail. next i asked for a design & asked if she was able to do it... she told me yes so i trusted what she said but my nails turned out HORRIBLE. i was going to ask her to redo them & just put a color on my nails & no design, but she told me i was holding up her customers even tho she was the one who was already 20/30 minutes late starting my appointment. i ended up having to pay 70$ for nails that looked like something my 5 year old nephew did. never returning.

My usual salon couldn’t fit me in last minute so I stopped here and I was super impressed. Each station has a plexiglass barrier and the people were lovely. I bite my nails like it’s my job so they were starting with a pretty rough base. I am thoroughly impressed and it far exceeded my expectations!

This place really clean and nice! The awesome reviews is what brought me here. I ended up calling to see how much it was since i couldnt find the prices online. The lady at the desk was very frank and to the point. This was my first time getting shellac and i think it looks nice! I will definitely update this review to see how long it will last. The whole process only took about 30 minutes. A younger lady did my check out and was much more welcoming, asked how everything was and if i enjoyed it. I will definitely return but probably will ask for the younger lady once i figure out here name since she was much more friendly! The staff are incredibly friendly and funny, they have great shows playing on the TVs, great music (which you can ask to be changed). Linda did my pedicure, and it came out perfect. Unfortunately I used to love this place... I had a 10am appointment and due to being pregnant and sick I arrived 9 minutes late and was told I was no longer able to have my appointment, so I said no problem I’d wait and just do a walk in and they told me no. There was one person in the salon.... so not sure why they were so disrespectful and rude!

Ask for Paul! He did great, and not only did he show up for my appointment an hour early on Sunday, he was very quick, kind, and precise. They have a big selection of color and their prices match the rest of Ann Arbor but your nails last.

They did a fantastic job and took their time. I am really loving the french manicure!

I have been calling for a week to make an appointment, only to be told they have been fully booked and can’t take me. Today I called to see if they had any openings, only to be told I have been not been “showing up” and this was my last warning before I was never able to come again, after I explained I never set an appointment and kept being told it was fully booked so i’m not sure how I could have missed an appointment all week I’ve never had, she continued to tell my price for a basic full set at that point would be 60 DOLLARS! So unprofessional and clearly lacking organization and communication. Have never came here and now will never go.

Went here for the first time yesterday. I will never go to a different salon again! They have the best range of colors I’ve seen in Ann Arbor. Prices are very fair for the quality that you receive. I got the cat eye magnetic gel manicure, which I haven’t seen in any other salons. Extremely clean facilities with the sweetest staff. My tech did not rush and was very thorough with his work. Basic pedicure includes hot stone massage and several other add-ons that normally you have to pay more for. It was the most relaxing experience I’ve had at a salon! Can’t wait to go back.

Oh my gosh I walked in and the staff was so nice. I went in to get an pink to white ombré full set of acrylics and they turned out even better than I wanted! She put little jewels on my ring fingers to accent them and they are positioned perfectly and did a double coat just to make sure that they didn’t come off, amazing experience and definitely going back!

A2 Nails Spa has a cool vibe - very modern and clean. Paul was my nail tech. He was extremely kind and constantly asked if I was doing ok. He took his time, was very meticulous and gave great massages! I LOVED the outcome of both my mani and pedi. I’m excited to go back again and would recommend this salon to anyone!
