So happy with my highlights! Safa is so talented and does such a beautiful job with hair color. I have long dark hair and she gave me beautiful caramel highlights, she has always given me such fantastic color and highlights, I love her work !!!

Denise was so kind and gave me a wonderful manicure and pedicure. They had a wide variety of color choices and everything was very clean. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice treat at a reasonable price.

Farah did an amazing job on my pedicure! She was calm, relaxed and made the experience very pleasant. Bonus points for the massage chair that reclines during the service. Will definitely be returning.

I bought a Groupon to start my experience. It was rushed. She didn’t pay attention to detail. She didn’t ask how short or long I wanted my nails, she just cut. When it was time to pay or in my case use my Groupon, she said she told me over the phone she wont be accepting groupons anymore. She must’ve confused me for someone else who looked Hispanic.

I went in to get a few waxing services done: brazilian, upper lip, sideburns and eyebrow and was seen by Safa (the owner). Throughout my Brazilian wax, she kept on making comments about how sensitive I was (when in reality, getting your Brazilian done is no piece of cake…).The experience that warrants 1 star is my eyebrow wax. She waxed and burned my right eyelid (see photo attached). When I noticed that my skin felt raw and was visibly red and burning, she claimed it was because my skin was so sensitive (note: my face or Brazilian area did not have this reaction). She gave me some cream to soothe and my eyelid stung, confirming that I had in fact been burned.There was no apology or even acknowledgement from Safa. Very disappointed and would definitely not suggest to anyone for waxing. She threatened to sue me and claimed it was my fault that I had gotten burned.Safe to say that Safa is not a salon I would recommend to ANYONE.

Bought a Groupon. Took very very long for painted nails. The only good experience was the chair massager on my feet. Took a very long time (2 hours and 30 minutes)for some messy painted nails and super expensive. Not coming back.( My 9 year old daughter wrote this.) 🤣

Not only did I have to wait 30 mins past my appointment time, the pedicure was definitely very rushed and poor quality. She did not pay attention to detail nor did she even finish coating one of my big toes with the top coat. Now after it’s all dried there’s a very noticeable thick line in the middle of my nail. Farrah has disappointed me twice that I’ve come here. First for the Brazilian where all the hair was not removed properly but now for the pedicure as well. Not to mention this was for my birthday trip. Will not be returning.

Nice shop, I would go back for a regular wax.

I did a groupon purchase to check out this salon and unfortunately wont be coming back. I purchased the $40 spa pedicure and spa manicure combo. I also made an appointment.Pros: They had a nice spa pedicure chair and seemed relatively friendly. And they did use proper sanitation and the general feel of the salon was clean and niceCons: Quality of nail painting was poor. She seemed overbooked and rushing to finish everyone. She told me that she doesnt have the energy to be doing this right now. That her head hurt and she was supposed to be done by then. (Not the best thing to tell a client who made an Appt two weeks in advance). I also overheard them discussing tips and who didnt tip etc.The actual manicure was so-so. No hand soak, didnt take much time shaping my nails or buffing them, no hand massage, no cuticle trim and they also dont use lights to set the nails afterwards. Some of the corners of my nails are missing polish.The actual pedicure was ok. I had to convince Farah to go back and trim my toe nails down with a file bc she said she couldnt with the trimmer. The rest of it was a normal spa pedicure. However as you can see from my phone, my toes werent cleaned up afterwards.

I came here with a bridal party for some pre-wedding pampering and it was a great experience! I got a pedicure, acrylic nails and my eyebrows threaded. Very happy with the results! I will definitely be back!

Definitely not worth the Groupon price. My girlfriend and I just redeemed our groupons. They were repeatedly on and off there phones, forgot to scrub my feet before putting lotion on. My girlfriends nails weren’t even dry when they informed us they were closing. Pay the extra and go to a quality establishment in Ann Arbor that focuses on quality and good customer service.

Farah was the sweetest and provided the best pedicure/manicure treatment. All of the products she uses feel and smell amazing and she takes the utmost care in getting every edge and corner perfect. I will definitely be coming back when I am in the area.

I love this salon. I purchased groupons to visit them, and I think I’ll start to become a regular customer here. I had an issue during a visit, and they went above and beyond for me. They made me feel comfortable and didn’t treat me as just another customer!

My cousin gifted both my husband and I 90 minute massages with Brandi after our wedding. She was GREAT! The room was peaceful, she took her time to make sure all of our problem areas were worked on, and the 90 minutes flew by! We would both highly recommend seeing Brandi for some relaxation, and will definitely be back to see her.

The salon is professional and clean. I had a pedicure and left with dry skin at the sides of my toes. I also had my nails painted only was told $10.00 and then was told $15.00. The lady that did my pedicure asked the lady doing my nails how much l left her as a tip. ( She did not know l was also giving her cash ) And said to me regular cost of a pedicure is $40.00.She assumed l was not giving her more.Overall my daughter did not have issues with her pedicure. She had a manicure her nails were not soaked and the lady doing them seemed annoyed and not very friendly .Glad we had groupons although manicure and pedicure were very basic. Way to much for just nail painting. Our second visit and we will not be back.

This was my first time going to this place today and first time for both a manicure and pedicure. Sara and her staff were just awesome and it was the best experience I’ve ever had at a Salon and Spa!! This was my birthday treat from both of my daughters who attended with me as well which made the experience today extra special! I highly recommend them and I can’t wait to go back again!🥰🥳

Got a mani/ pedi. I was told it should take an hour and half. It took 2 hour and 45. My nails were filed poorly, she didnt paint all my nails leaving the sides of nails without color, and there is so much oil left on my toes I had to wash my feet afterwards.Not worth even the groupon price.

I had a great massage session with Brandy! She was fantastic! Very fun, communicative, and very responsive to feedback. I truly enjoyed my massage session and will definitely go there again!

I got a groupon for a haircut, partial highlights, blow dry and style. All the employees are very nice and the environment is quiet and relaxing. I usually dont like talking when Im getting my hair done but Safa, the owner, was so nice and easy to talk to. I loved the way my hair turned out. The highlights werent exactly the color I wanted but they still look good. This salon is one of the best Ive been to.

Safas went above and beyond to get me in and out of my Brazilian wax ASAP. I arrived 20 minutes early hoping to be seen ASAP because I needed to be somewhere else right before they closed. They were able to see me and get me out of there fast. Very grateful they could accomodate me. She did a good job on the wax.

A friend recommended this salon--and she was right! The staff were very friendly and courteous and the owner was gracious (and talented). My manicure and hair both look great. Ill be back.

These ladies are gems! They fit me in during a super busy day, they were outstandingly friendly and personal, and they do great work. I was very pleased walking out and would recommend them to anyone!

I contacted them three different times starting three weeks ago to make an appointment for a massage with Brandi. Each time they told me they would put me in contact with her, but she never contacted me... Until yesterday, three weeks later, Brandi texted me to tell me she didnt have anything available until weeks out. The whole thing was very unprofessional. If you want new clients, then this is certainly not how you get them. I will be finding somewhere else to go.

My pedicure is horrible, like I did it myself at home. I’m very unhappy with the coats and I tried to tell her. My gel manicure is already fading. Eyebrow threading $15?? I spent $72 on all this?!

Was lovely to be pampered. The massage chairs were great during my pedicure. The actual painting of my nails was good.

I went this past weekend for a trim and a deep conditioning with Farah. I have curly hair and asked for about an inch off with some layers and a face frame. The front was cut way too short, almost resembling bangs and the layers make it look like a mullet. There is no flow in the cut, it is too blunt and I am very upset. 2-3 inches was taken off. I am very disappointed and cant even wear my hair down because it look so bad.

I had a wonderful experience at Safa’s. Farah was kind and gentle plus did a great pedicure.Beautiful, clean ,nicely decorated salon with a zen feeling. Loved it and will go back.

My manicure was perfect! It lasted 2 weeks w/o a chip- the natural kind! Safa was very pleasant to be around, her salon was extremely clean, and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely go back.

Very bad service and the quality of their gel is very poor, the nail polish started to come off for the next day which is should stay at least for 2 weeks . And when I called them they didn’t offer anything that makes me happy all they said we are sorry. Don’t waist your money

They were nice people. I wanted a haircut and a conditioning treatment and it took the stylist such a long time that Safa stepped in and completed it because the stylists next appointment was walking in. Also, the pedicure I had wasnt that great and two toenails of polish came off after a week, and again took a very very long time. I was supposed to get a manicure as well but at that point I had been there for at least 3 hours and just wanted to leave. Only went here because my boyfriend got me a Groupon. I would not recommend.

I wish I could only rate how this place is run. Farrah is absolutely great, and in all honesty the owner does a good job as blowing out curly hair. However the customer service is the absolute worst. I have been lied to a out th price of services 6 times!!!!! I will call and be told one price, asked to pay another with some lame excuse. I should have stopped going the first time, dishonesty happened, but the owner apologized and I believed her. Just be aware that money is more important than customer satisfaction. Make sure to record or ask for a signed form with the price before you get conned a new imaginary price. For general info, a blowout is $50....go downtown, to Ulta or Aveda Salon, its cheaper or for the same price, you are treated like customer, not lied to, or disrespected. Spend your money where you are appreciated.

I recently took my mother to Safas Salon and Spa to get her hair cut and styled. I had been having a difficult time finding a stylist who Mom was both comfortable with and who made her feel GOOD about how she looked. I am pleased to report our search is over!From the moment I called the salon and spoke to Denise, to schedule Moms appointment, to seeing Mom shed joyful tears when she saw her new look and style when the work was complete, we were both treated more like family than customers.Mom is losing her hearing, and her sight, and a trip to the salon can be a very anxious experience for her. What moved me the most was how Safa picked up on Moms special needs and even invited me over to the chair next to her station so I could get to know her and help facilitate communication. This meant a great deal to me.I couldnt recommend Safas Salon and Spa any stronger. Her prices are very reasonable and they treat you like family - not sure how you can top that combination. I will be taking Mom back to Safa for as long as she will take us in!

1st visit-Purchased a groupon in the beginning of the summer. When I went in Farah was working with someone else so the owner started my appointment by coloring my roots. Then Farah took back over to finish the color. Then the owner took back over and did the cut. I thought it was weird but they were super nice and the cut/color turned out great2nd visit- Purchased a groupon. Farah colored my hair and then tagged out to have the owner cut my hair. When I got home in better lighting I realized that my gray roots were not colored correctly. Texted Farah and she said she would correct free of charge. Due to a vacation and a busy work schedule I couldnt try to get back in for correction until 2 weeks later. Farah offered to fix at just the cost of the product. I decided to pass but appreciated her trying to fix.You can get a cut and color for cheap but its a tag team effort and you get what you pay for. I decided to go elsewhere in the future where I can have one stylist focus on my hair

It is bothersome....that people can write negative reviews....even after they have been accomodated. One client complained about Safa being overbooked and way over her head with business. As a client...I can tell you that Safa and her staff go above and beyond the norm to accomdate everyone. Just because a few people cant get their way....does not mean a negative review is necessary. This is just wrong.
