This is exactly what I asked for and exceeded my expectations! So happy with how these turned out. Where other places would (and have) charge(d) $65+ for the cut, shape, color, etc., they only charged $51! It took about 40 minutes.

Had a gift card here so figured I’d give it a shot and I’m disappointed. I’ve been getting dip nails for a while (these are my real nails) and when the tech was removing the old dip her tool got super hot and kept burning the finger underneath my nail. I pulled my hand away 10+ times. Then she just didn’t take her time doing the dip and it’s very uneven on my nails. Not to mention she broke skin on all 4 of my cuticles (can see in pic) which makes me nervous for hygiene purposes. Nice tech, just rushed the whole appointment and was not worth $51

I have been a regular at Foxy nails for years. I am treated with respect and kindness, and the quality of the work they do on my nails is second to none. Tynie is my regular tech, and she does amazing work! Ive also had Henry and Mimi do my nails, and was very happy with their work!!!I would suggest making an appointment, because they are always very busy! They do take walk-ins and try their best to get them in on a timely fashion, but if you have limited time, having an appointment is the way to go! Like o said - they are always busy!

This place is such a scam! The workers are rude, they tell you one price on the phone, and another at the register, and to top it all off, the place is extremely dirty. I will never go back, and I hope this place gets shut down. Jerks.

I have been getting my nails done by at Foxy for over 5 years. They do great work and they always look fantastic! I feel so confident about and happy with their work, I will occasionally have a you pick day and let Mimi pick what she wants for my design.

I had an appointment for 2 mani-pedis and 1 manicure Starting shortly after. They put my feet in hot water for one hour and I was not served. I finally left with one person getting a nice mani-pedi and 2 of us left without having any service.

I would recommend Foxy nails to anyone! I always leave happy when Tynie does my nails and I have such a great time relaxing while I’m there. I was even able to bring in my husband for a pedicure and he had such a great experience he can’t wait for his next one!

I had an appointment for 6pm, got there at 5:55pm and they were running a bit behind and that’s okay so i waited. 2 HOURS go by and they still haven’t gotten me in. i waited 2.5 hours and they finally got me in, i asked for regular polish, the lady put on gel and charged me for it because she was in a rush and didn’t want to let them dry. it’s been 4 days and all my acrylics have fallen off bc they were put on so poorly. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

My bestie & I went here for gel pedicures on a Tuesday night. Our appointment was for 6pm, yet we didn’t get seated until 6:20pm. The seats were jank but whatever. I picked out a color that was the same color I had on my nails. Once the tech started applying the polish, I told her at least 3 times that it wasn’t the right color and I didn’t like it. My nail tech just kept saying that the color would match once she added another coat or two. Definitely did not. But she was also “sharing” the UV lamp with another worker. And he was rushing her for it. They did not disinfect the lamp between using it on my feet and on hers and it was not a bottomless one either. At this point I had been there for forever and simply paid & left bc I had somewhere else to be. The. Very. Next. Day. the polish came off one of my toe nails, after the charged me an additional $16 for gel polish. So I called and told them all of my concerns. They offered to “fix” it for me. So once again I made an appointment for 6pm, didn’t get in the chair until 6:20pm again and after a ton of going back & forth they told me they would put the polish back on the one that fell off but refused to fix the fact that it wasn’t the color I wanted bc quote, “I should’ve said something while I was there”. I told them that I did say something 3 different times! They said that they would “fix” it for $15. Um no thanks! Definitely will not be going back.

Love Foxy! I have been going to Mimi and Luann for 12 years and they are the absolute best!!! Very clean salon and they treat you like family. Highly recommend they do great work!!!

You couldn’t pay me to go back and waste my time on this place. By the time Tina was done with my nails each hand was noticeable different lengths. Polish was not distributed evenly or even covering most the nail properly. When stepping out and getting better lighting I notice two nails profile had huge waves in them. Spent over an hour on them and charged me WAY too much. When “fixing” all I got was excuses for poor service/end product.My first experience was great at this place! Thought I found a new salon. Like I said after this experience you couldn’t pay me to go back!

Anna has done my dip mani and gel pedi several times now. She’s super sweet and always does an amazing job... my nails look nice for several weeks and the only reason I need to go back in is because they’ve grown out, not because the polish has chipped or anything. She also gives an amaaaaazing massage during the pedicure. It’s always a relaxing experience and worth every penny.

My friend and I went in for pedicures. After the nail polish was on I sat there for 40 minutes with the light. They said that I was good to go and put my socks and shoes back on. I took them off to take another look at them and the nail polish was ruined. They even Put speed setter on it. My friend left and it looked like a 10 year old did her nails. Even after her complaining and then “fixing” them. She also still had a ton of dead skin left on her foot once again even after complaining. Never going back. 10/10 wouldn’t not recommend.

I went in here to get my nails done on what is easily one of the busiest shopping days of the year, and even though there was a wait, they got me in faster than expected and were working hard to make sure everyone who came in could be seen that day. I didnt catch my manicurists name, but she did a great job and even made some suggestions that helped me get a better overall look. Thank you all!

I popped in yesterday as an out-of-towner, and didnt know what to expect. Anna was my technician. Not only was she super sweet and friendly, but she did an INCREDIBLE job on my shellac mani and pedi. Probably one of the best Ive had in years. I told her my preferences (oval shape natural nails and polish on the thinner side) and she did exactly as Id asked. Sad that Im leaving town soon and she cant be my regular tech. Definitely ask for Anna when you visit!

What I will say about this place is that they are GREAT if you have a complicated design in mind for a special occasion. They are really great at doing designs and small details. For an every time use, though, I wouldnt recommend. Getting something simple, Id find another place. I was cut up pretty bad after filing with acrylics and there were simple mistakes ignored unless I pointed it out. However, when I got a detailed design for a dance or vacation, it turned out pretty well. There were less mistakes. For the price, Id say only go here if your doing something detailed or intricate.

Henry is amazing. Always can do what I ask or free style it when I dont have any ideas! This is the only place I will go to now!

This is my go to nails place , just left there today and by far the worst experience I have ever had. I don’t think the guy was licensed or anything he skipped multiple steps, my toe was bleeding , burned me with the hot towels . I couldn’t stand it I got up and left with out finishing . And my mom was waiting 40 mins they forgot she wanted her nails done , so multiple people were going in front of her. Today was horrible! I shouldn’t of paid.

I got a full set put on and immediately I knew it was shabby work. I asked if the woman (an older woman who sat to the left of the front door and 2-3 desks from the window) if she could fix it and she rebuffed me 3 times saying “if it lifts I’ll fix it” and that she didn’t think anything was wrong. I got very short acrylic nails placed and this should have been an easy job as i am not very picky. I didn’t even mind some polish left on my fingers edge. What I did mind was her being rude about my choice not to get gel nails. Then went on to tell me 5 more times how I should have picked a different polish as my choice was wrong and would smudge. I picked a polish I had at home for that very reason and did not enjoy being made to feel dumb about my decisions. I would have been fine with all of this is, but within 2 days of the nails being placed 3 of my nails had lifted. I don’t have the time to keep going back due to my job so I had to just remove the nails myself so they didn’t get bacteria trapped. I am now a week and a half out and decided to just get them removed because they were so poorly done. I went to another location who misinterpreted that they had placed the full set. They apologized profusely offering to replace the whole set for free! When I explained that they did not do the original work, they then frankly told me never to go to that location again because they would have fired the technician who did this work. DO NOT GO TO THE PLACE

Lady was fairly nice when I arrived but was on the phone the whole time she did my nails. Also rushed through them. I also believe it was way too expensive. Not to mention my nail chipped after one day. Will not be going back.

Horrible service. Many of the nail techs were impatient and short when I asked them questions.The entire time the nail tech was doing my nails he wasn’t looking AT MY NAILS. Had to ask him to correct small blemishes on multiple times and he seemed to get more agitated not speaking in English to his colleagues doing my sister nails next to me instead of talking to me and paying attention what I was asking him to do. These mistakes would’ve been noticed if he were looking at my nails while filing and painting them. I Usually go to Ocean nails on Plymouth rd. Who usually do a decent job 3/5 rating. Me and my sister debated wether Foxy nail salon because it’s located in the mall they’d be as good or better. It hasn’t been a week and my sister has a broken nail, she went in for a fill and I got a full set. The set before this fill in ( at Ocean nails) lasted her more than 3 weeks no broken nails, not one.The paint job on both of our nails have Multiple small craters on each nail. The establishment was pretty too look at but I won’t be going back again ever. Happy birthday to me.

Just disappointing, made us wait over an hour to never get served. Kept pushing it back by 10, 20 minutes which is understandable, but I hope they understand for us that we carved out time to come too. Has happened the last two times Ive been there.

I love Vivian. It took me a long time and a lot of money to find a good manicurist/ pedicurist. But Vivian is amazing she is so sweet and she can do anything you want I have no complaints and she is the only one I’ll see there.. Good job Vivian!!! ❤️❤️

The lady who did my pedicure did a great job.The time before I had gel polish with my pedicure and it was pealing after a week. I went to get a full set after the pedicure. They were quick and could tell they didn’t want to be bothered. I had one of the nails fall off in 2 days, another one in 3 and another one the day after.I’ve been there multiple times and never had bad experiences until now, I won’t be returning.

Came in last minute b/c all other nail shops closed between 7 & 7:30. Walked in and was greeted by who i believe was the owners mother. Very nice women. I was getting a pedicure so I was seated right away! Toni did my pedicure she was great! Covo was awesome! She’s a very down to earth and sweet person. I would come back. Just for Toni!

The last 2 times I’ve visited have been great. Most recently I saw Terry and it was phenomenal! Great nails and great conversation. Will be back as soon as I need it!

Vivian does the most beautiful nails and pedicures. Highly recommended. And the mink lashes Mimi does are Gorgeous best work I have found hands down. If you want to look beautiful this is your place. Very clean, classy spa and the family that owns it is very kind. Last time I visited they spoiled me with Organic grapes while I waited for a minute.

Be careful here because these people will do what they want and not what you ask for. They have a tendency to talk over you and apply type of nails and the color THEY think looks good and do nothing that you ask for. They will then charge you whether you like it or not because we used our product. They dont guarantee anything so why bother? I do not recommend.Update: Today, a year later I get an apology? A year later?

Had a full set put on yesterday. The woman who did them seemed very annoyed and rushed with me. I hate how they look; she told me she couldn’t make my nails short and almond shaped? They are not all uniform and they already look like they are grown out? Terrible experience and I’m probably going to go somewhere else to have them taken off today. A waste of $50 dollars. Over priced and bad service! I’m going to have to waste my time today going back in to ask for a refund or have these hideous nails fixed. They literally look like I got them done two weeks ago with how grown out they are. I’m really disappointed.

12 days ago, I had a brand new set of pink and white acrylics put on. The man who put my nails on took great care to make sure they were beautiful. He was very detail oriented and I was thrilled about how great they looked. However, they just randomly popped off. Im 12 days into this brand new $65 set of nails ($50 +$15 tip) and Ive had the constant embarassment of having them pop off in public. I have five of the 10 glued back on. Ive never had a set lift like this. Im about to take them all off as it is driving me crazy. The guy who put them on was very good at getting the right shape and making them look fantastic. I feel bad giving a bad review but Ive never had a set only make it 12 days. My suspicion is that the acrylic material was at fault.

This is a hit or miss place. I went in July and had a great experience. Then I went last Saturday for a pedicure and walked out of there with my toes chipped and not completely dry even after having my feet under the fan for over 20 minutes. Couldnt find the girl that did my toes so I could get them touched up and no one was at the desk when I walked up there. I feel like I got cheated. $48 is a lot for a pedicure and I dont feel like I got a $48 pedicure. Also, there needs to be AC in that place, it was extremely hot.

If I could give zero stars I would, number one they need to learn how to do nails. Mine are all different lengths and shapes price was 60 for all different shapes lengths and paint all over my nails they look worse then terrible. So disappointed

It was my Birthday, so my boyfriend and I came an hour and half to Ann Arbor, he asked me if I wanted my nails done so We went to foxy nails in the mall. I got in right away. The owner did my nails although she was a very nice lady my nails suck. I noticed my pinky nail was crooked so I said something to her and she said” it’s fine I will file it straight” my nails are all different lengths, I got gel and the top layer on my thumb and index finger came off that dAy. They are really thick and I have paint all on all sides of my nails. I won’t be coming back!

The nail tech that did my nails was careless. I asked for almond shape and she gave me rounded. She worked quickly but hurt me during the filing and buffing steps. All of which could have been forgiven had I not taken my acrylics off today to find a fungal infection on one of my nails.

This place is great, they are kind and welcoming especially if you catch them at a good time. They do a thorough job on your nails and most important they are fairly priced compared to other places. Don especially did a great job.

Walked in for a pedicure/ mani-dip. Ten minutes into my manicure a woman walks in to let the manicurist know that she was leaving on vacation next day to fix her nail. The girl gets up tells the lady to sit on another station and starts to fix her nailLeaving me for about 12 minutes, when I got up and left. Time is money, I value my timeIf you are taking care of one customer that already sat for thirty minutes to wait for service you tell the walk in to come back after you are done with the person in Front of you.!!!That is how you lose clientele’s!! I walked in at 1:15 and they said itd be a 40 minute wait. They told me to write my name and phone number on a sheet and walk around the mall and they would call me. They never called me so I came back at 2pm. Then they said they crossed me off the list because i walked out. Now its 3:15 and Im still waiting...

I got a fill and I made an appointment for 5:30. The woman doing my nails casually strolled in at 5:50. She was very rude the whole time she was doing my nails. I had picked out a shellac color and she could not find it, so I had to pick a new color and then she got sassy when I couldnt decide on a different color right away. Not to mention not even 24 hours after getting this fill 3 of my nails chipped at the bottom.However, The salon was beautiful, and the prices would have been decent if the service was better, and I am sure the other workers are great.

Had my nails (shellac) done there yesterday. The place is clean, I didnt have to wait (I had an appt scheduled and they were right on time). The lady who was doing my nails paid attention to details. I decided to try this place because it is one of the few salons in the area open on a Sunday and I didn’t want to wait an hour to have my nails done at the other salon in the mall with better reviews...lesson learned.Below average overall quality.My nails were not shaped evenly. I keep short nails but have never had an issue with having them shaped nicely. The technician never asked which shape I wanted and they did what appears to be a mixture of round and square so now my nails look stubbier than before I had them done. My technician was friendly and did a good job on my cuticles, polish job is okay...The salon has cute decor, but needs to be cleaned as it appears they neglect to deep clean the floor / walls which have a build up of dirt and filth. They also had a rug which has clearly had a huge hole in it for a while. WHY?The UV nail curator has a large opening in it and even if you you just glance when you put your hand in and look away before switching hands again, your eyes and head will hurt by the time you are done.I also noticed a customer that appeared to be regular try to exchange pleasantries with one of the technicians while her nails soaked. The technician was cold and never smiled even though the customer was trying to be very warm and nice. I also noticed this customer remove her own shellac polish as she was soaking for a while without anyone checking on her.Lastly, the receptionist appeared to be major grumpy for having to do her job. When I checked out she thank me for my business or attempt to halfway smile. She basically told me the price and once the CC went through, she placed my receipt on the counter for me to sign and walked away.I will not be going back here. This is the 2nd worst salon that I have tried in the area.

This was my first time being here, just needed to get dip powder removed from my nails. This is something I’ve had done before and let me tell you, just about everything my nail tech did was wrong. She was very aggressive when drilling and filling my nails and also cut them down to almost nothing without asking me if I wanted them shorter. She then charged me more than I was originally told. I will not be returning nor would I recommend them to a friend.

My pedicure was nice from the gentleman who did the service. The women who did my powder dip did a terrible job. Wasn’t friendly, seemed annoyed the whole time. Left my hands dry from acetone and I had paint all over my fingers! I told her and she said go to the sink and try to scrub it off! She already sat someone else and didn’t want to be bothered. I would never go back there because of her. Save your money!

As a guy, I always feel uncomfortable getting my nails done because of the stigma. After going to signature nails and tricho both in briarwood and having bad experiences, I decided to try foxy nails. Needless to say, Ive been coming now for pedis and manis for about 6 months now and would not go anywhere else

I went in for my first time at foxy nails because it is close to my house. I was getting a polish change on my toe nails. Very nice girl at the front. Picked out your nail polish and relaxed for the time it took the young lady to just paint my toe nails. Its been 5 days now and the nail polish is completely gone. Started chipping with me just wearing normal shoes only within 2 days. I would not waist your money with this place. Not going back ever!

Kevin, Henry & Tai are AMAZING!!! Sweet, funny, and very very thorough. Henry did the BEST set I have ever seen on my sister.... HOWEVER, the lady who did mine... WORST WORST set, by far, I have ever received. I told her I wanted a short coffin style, she said “no. That doesn’t look good I’m going to do square” to that I said okay but oval... she said “no. Square”. They are completely uneven, misshaped, crooked, and lumpy... yes. Lumpy. I asked her to shave a few nails down and she got an attitude with me and made them worse. I asked her for a third coat, because the polish was PATCHY and she tried telling me no because it would take 30 metro dry??? (It took 10 by the way) she also used the same towels from the previous person, and the person after me.... and her station was covered in dust from the dremmel and funk everywhere. I get that they were busy, but I paid $80 dollars today for something I wanted to rip off as soon as I left. I longer I look the uglier they get. I will be there tomorrow morning at OPEN to ask either take them off and refund me. Or fix them. But I will say again.... HENRY, KEVIN, and TAI!!!!! Be sure to ask for one of them!!

I think they are very rude, Ive been a few times each with the same experience. they rush though your service, nic ya multiple times, my fingers are always very very sore not to mention my nails are always left crooked and if asked to fix they give an attitude and say its fine. I dont think Ill EVER go back even if they do stay open later than other nail salons.

My mother and I went to foxy nails today for a christmas manicure. The attendants seemed to be in a rush; a girl tried to leave because she had to wait almost a half hour after her appointment time, and the staff were falling over themselves to keep her there. My nail tech started rushing to finish to take care of her, and in the hours since my nails (opi lacquer polish) have developed several defects and my mothers gel nails with dip ended up rough, thick and uneven. Equipment was dirty (dust, oil and hair). We will NOT be going back.

I didnt walk into this place with high expectations being its a salon inside the mall but I will NEVER return. For the higher price they charge for basic acrylic set, I was extremely disappointed in the end result AND had to walk out of there unfinished because I was unaware a plain white tip costs $6 extra on top of the already high price. I wasnt spending another dollar there. I can go to the ghetto salon and get an impeccably beautiful job done for $15 less!My friend got hers done at Foxy same night as I and her tip snapped off 2 days later, easily. Been going to this salon with my daughter (Gacha kitty lol, using her profile) for about a year now. Slowly I’m becoming more unimpressed. I drop 200 to 300$ a month at this salon. The most recent being just last week, the owner doing my nails did not put the 3 to 4 coats of deep powder on my nails, since Wednesday 3 nails have already chipped. Right when he was finished he grabbed his smokes and ran out the door. I’m paying a lot of money to get a sloppy job because you wanted a cigarette. The massage chairs did not work properly my last 2 visits, and they did not seem to care. I get a pedicure for the chair primarily, I hate the bottom of my feet touched. The staff seems to think because we don’t speak their language that we don’t feel a bad vibe when they are making fun of the customer. I will not spend another dollar at this salon.
