First time in my life I have ever gotten fungus. I’m disgusted. I’m a salon owner and make sure my technicians disinfect their tools between every client and should be placed in a sanitation envelope for the sanitizer. This technician brought her tools in a pencil box. Against my better judgement, I was with my friend and I had traveled from out of town so I didn’t want to cause any conflict, I let her continue. Total regret. Never again.

It wouldve been a five they were really nice, but too many patrons did not have masks on!

I’ve been coming here for two years now, and generally I’ve had great experiences. I love how well they do my nails and the prices have always been decent for what I get done. However, the customer service me and my friends have received the last few months here has not been great. I totally understand that business is crazy for them and they may not be fully staffed, but to wait almost 2 hours every time when they tell you “30 minutes” it’s very frustrating, especially when an appointment is made. The woman who I assume is the manager, can be very rude, and again I understand she’s doing her best with how busy they’ve been, but I try to be as polite as possible and it’s met with attitude, and i know it’s not personal, but to act like that to most of your customers is just unprofessional. I used to love this place but I feel if they don’t hire more staff and work on their demeanor to loyal, long time customers, they’re going to be losing a lot of business.

I had recently taken off a full set of gels and my nails were long and healthy. I asked for a new set of dip with a French manicure. She messed up so much that my finger tips were longer than my nail. The white tips were uneven. My thumb nail was filed so low that the nail in the middle was gone. I tried to tell her and she kept saying “not done yet”. I was charged 52 dollars for this. The manager said she would refund me but I had to come back now because I couldn’t “wear the nail” - what little was left. By the time she soaked off the dip my nails were red and ruined. I’d advise going some where else.

You are better off getting your nails done by your dog before stepping foot into this salon. This is my third time here and everytime gets worse. The owner??? She makes Cruella De Vil look like an angel.. WORST customer service ever. I got first degree burns on my feet from how hot the water was. My nail polish legit looked like my 1 year old nephew painted them. Lets not count how many times I got drilled on my skin. I should have picked red nail polish to match all the blood on my finger nails from all the cuts. Did I mention how RUDE the manager/owner is? Her own staff want to leave from her. $100 for my nails to look like a little kid was trying to paint in between the lines.. 0/10 experience. Refuse to come back. I dont know how this place is still in business. I would rather drive to Dearborn 40 minutes than come back here. Count your days signature. I should have never stepped foot here from the beginning when word of mouth itself was how bad you guys are.

Decent service, but painfully slow. A pedicure and full nail set manicure (gel, of course) took over two hours and twenty minutes. The price, $100, was the only saving grace. If youre short on time, dont come here!

I will never go back! I dont typically take the time to write reviews unless I have a really bad experience. Ive been here a couple of times, and it didnt seem half bad at first. Its a very nice atmosphere and looks really nice on the inside. The staff are nice enough, but they can be very condescending. They dont offer you a drink unless you ask for one and they reuse things like files and drill tips without cleaning them. My first acrylic set was great, but when I went back to KT a week ago for a full set, they were terrible. she was really nice, but my nails were awful. They were different lengths and shapes, and had visible drill marks. There were gaps in several nails between the nail and tip and the acrylic was going over my cuticles a little bit so they started lifting within 5 days. I went back today to have them fixed, and they tried to tell me that the cuticles grew out and that the acrylic wasnt actually going over them.. but couldnt explain why they were lifting. They said the cuticles were their responsibility unless you pay to have a manicure, during which they would clean up the cuticles. So apparently, they justify messy acrylics if you dont pay for the full manicure. They basically laughed at me when I said they needed to be soaked off and redone because of the separation between the nails and tips. In the end, they look better, but underneath they are very rough and messy, because she basically just drilled away my real nails in the areas where there was separation. So I had to file them myself at home to clean them up because they looked horrible.the shape and length is still not very symmetrical but theyre a little better.UPDATE: the fixed set started separating at the tips again so I spoke to Vy on the phone (he claimed to be the manager) and he acted like they would take care of it when I came in, but then told me it would be full price once I got there. Very frustrating. They actually told me I should go somewhere else if I wasnt happy with their services.. they ended up soaking them off at no charge and refunding me half of what I originally spent. I will not be returning, and a friend of mine said the same thing when she had a similar experience with their horrible customer service.

Very nice, clean, peaceful & reasonable prices. Eye brow waxing is great...even with thinner brows she does a good job & I leave with nice shape & still have visible eyebrows!At each visit the staffs professionalism & skills have been consistent.

This is a beautiful place with very poor service! The man who did my pedicure ($28) refused to put in any effort on my service because I paid for the general pedicure. He told me I get what I pay for and that he “knows people like me who want to pay less and get more.” Very unprofessional, and my nail bed eventually ended up coming off!

Nail polish came off next day. 3rd time this has happened. Not sure what changed with the polish; but not happy especially when I paid for gel so I could prevent this. Also my pedicure seems scratchy. I am use to smooth feet. This one not that good.For $$$ of services for my family I really would like to receive better polish. Thats a lot to spend for something to peel off the next day.

Not worth the high prices, I felt rushed out from the moment I sat down, the nail tech was moving so fast that she did not even prep my nail bed to assist with lifting, they didn’t even clean/push back my cuticles! I brought in a photo and she barely looked at it or give me a chance to speak. I will not be returning. Money wasted.

I went in for the first time to get a French dip. The girl made me bleed on two fingers by cutting my cuticles.Then the final result, it looks like they are already grown out. She used the grinder snd really took off by my cuticles so it looks grown out. Snd they charge $50! Ridiculous. Not going back.

My nephew, wife, daughter, and I decided to get pedicures. My wife and I both got signature pedicures #5 (most expensive) and my nephew got a Therapytic Pedicure #3. My daugther is four years old so we only wanted nails done. The nails for my daugther were okay. They did apply a clear coat. My nephews pedicure was a total of 30 minutes and 14 minutes of that was spent just setting in the parafin wax. The person who did this work was Amia . My pedicure was 32 minutes for top of the line request (7 minutes in the parrafin wax). The person who did mine was Summer. Both of the individuals were more interested in playing on their phones in the back room than they were working on giving us a good experience. The front desk person even had to go get it me of them out of the back room to do my daughters nails.My wife and I get pedicures monthly for the past 15 years and this was the worst pedicure I have ever had.My wife said hers was slightly better, but we not good.I spoke with the manager and she offered to have them redone. We did not have time, but I appreciated the gesture. I believe this place has a worker problem that needs to be addressed. The manager said she would address

The two women that work in the front are extremely rude every single time I come in here. Not professional at all. The service is even worse. For the price they ask for, it’s not even close to worth it. Take your money and go elsewhere

My first time there! Very nice setup! The price you pay for nail care in Michigan is ridiculous though. $15 extra for (Shelack)!!?! What is SHELACK!?! Its just GEL nail polish. In Los Angeles its $5! Without a design on every toe, a pedicure should never cost me almost $50. (Thats every nail spot in Michigan, not just Signature) But I highly recommend Signature Nails!

I paid for a deluxe pericure and what I got was a rushed basic service. I had to remind her 4 times that my nails were crooked. My feet were still rough and poorly done. Once I reminded her what needed to be done she then got rough and cut me 3 times. Do not reccomend at all. I then asked her if she liked doing nails and she said no lol. You can tell! Just dont waste your time especially for any upgraded pedicure

So I went in for a manicure + full set. I specifically stated I wanted some kind of weed design. Guy started with the set without even giving me the manicure I asked for first.Nail tech brought out STICKERS but not weed stickers talked me into another design even though I stated if you don’t have any weed stickers can you still make some kind of we design and the nail technician said yes. Nail tech painted my nails and put stickers on my nails no weed design no manicure $50. I will not be recommending this joint to anyone. It’s a nice place to look at but my nails look like they’re meant to be glue ons for a 12 year old.

2 ND time having a manicure with shalac at this salon. It doesnt last but a week at best.

I hate to be the person to leave a bad review, but I feel like i has to share. I came in today with my best friend to get our nails done. Our services (shellac manicure and pedicure) came out to $75 each. This is a fair price and I have come to this salon before and really enjoyed my services. However, today during my manicure my cuticles started to bleed and my nail technician ignored it. The nails finally stopped bleeding after half an hour, but my cuticles still hurt after 9 hours. Two of my nails barely had blood, so I can try to understand that, but my left pointer finger has a cut that’s pretty deep. I would recommend this place as I have had many great experiences here, but please make sure technicians are doing good and safe work on your nails

This is the only place in town I will go to get my acrylics and pedis done. Inside of salon is beautiful and classy, a little expensive but worth the money! Best pedicure in MI very smooth feet and they have a lot of OPI and DND colors to choose from on the wall.

I really enjoy coming here...Its a spacious salon with newer equipment, and beautifully decorated...its nice that its typically not too crowded so clients are spaced out during these Covid times.

I go here all the time and they do a great job! My only grievance with this place is they have the worst dip colors and small selection of them, they are all such ugly colors.

On June 18th 2020 I had a 6oclock PM appointment that I waited patiently to be seated my nail tech Autumn was finishing up on another client. By 640p she was finished and came to me in shame asking me if someone else could get a nail repair before me. I then asked why would she go before me when I was here first?.. Autumn then replied well she left but came back I responded that doesnt matter my appointment was at 6pm and I shouldnt have to wait for someone that came in 30min after me!!! So I ask how long will it be she said 30min or you can come back tomorrow. I told Autumn that what she is doing is wrong and during a time like this we are in a civil rights movement and you want to mistreat met this way!?? She apologized not offering a discount or anything she allowed me to gather my things and leave with no effort or care about my service. I have always tipped Autumn very well too left and came back to get cash when they werent accepting cards. I cant believe she overlapped me like that with no solution in satisfying her customer. I will NEVER step foot in that shop again !!!

I received a mani and pedi at this establishment with a friend a few days ago. We both had our mani and pedis started at the same time, mine ended 20-30 minutes before hers. The tech rushed through everything and not to mention, it was painful. The tech was digging into my big toe nails trying to take out some ingrown toe nails— most painful experience ever. I’ve had this done at other nail salons with no pain. Next, the tech put a large amount of pressure on my feet when trying to get the dead skin off with the filer. My feet still hurt a couple days later. Next were my fingernails, which needed some TLC. She took about 10 minutes to paint them, not even buffing or tending to the perimeter of my nails. Lastly, she forgot to add top coat. My nails before the top coat were bubbled and very rough feeling. I had to ask another tech for top coat since mine was sitting in a chair on her phone. I will not be returning to this place again. Horrible.

I’ve been going here every 2 weeks since this salon opened! I love and is the absolute best in the Ann Arbor/ Saline area. I get a difficult nail shape and I’m never disappointed. I’m also a hairdresser and very hard in my nails. Pedicures are consistent and pleasant every time and very clean. Occasionally there is a long wait but you’re waiting for a good service. Not the place to come if you are in a rush.

Absolutely ruined my nails! The drill they used left scars all over my toe nails and finger nails. There were huge dents that you could see under the polish and were very apparent when I took off the polish. Was $80 which was reasonable, but awful for what damage they did.

This place isn’t that great. I have come here a few times and every time the workers just don’t do a good job. I got a pedicure a few days ago and the polish started chipping. I noticed a day after I got them done the polish already started to chip. And 2 days later the polish has come completely off 3 of my toe nails. Isn’t normal for that to happen to your toes. The lady that did my pedicure was very rude. I will never come here again. Horrible job.

I went there with my mom last night and we arrived at 7:40. There were 4 employees sitting down socializing. We were told that the cut-off time for 2 services (we needed nails and pedicures done), was 7:30. We respect their business model, but the delivery from a customer service standpoint was terrible. Also, the lack of desire to make an exception based on us being just 10 minutes past their house rule cutoff time and being first-time customers is disappointing. They just lost out on consistent a $250 bi-weekly profit for poor customer service skills. We wont step in there ever again.

I was in town for an overnight stay and needed to get my nails fixed. They got me right in and my nails looked great when finished. Mindi did a great job and I highly recommend her.

Trustworthy nail salon - everything is sterile and disinfected properly. Tools were unwrapped out of autoclave packaging and pedicure foot spas were lined with single-use plastic coverings.I got a shellac pedicure and powder dip manicure (which is really cool and more durable than shellac - I highly recommend!) and it was enjoyable. However, my nail tech went super fast on the massage part like she was in a rush and I wouldve enjoyed it more if she took her time. My mother went with me and her nail tech was definitely slower on that regard.Very nice atmosphere with an upscale feel without the upscale price.I plan on returning but I will specifically ask for someone different my next time.EDIT: Beware of long wait times on the weekends. Its better to make an appointment ahead of time if youre able to. They seem to be short-staffed especially on the weekend, so you could be waiting at least 30 mins.

What’s the point of making an appointment if I still have to wait 45 minutes after the scheduled time? They do great work and are reasonably priced but take way too long to get you to. Mananagement needs to change, don’t you think if you had a client schedule a 5:00 appointment that you would keep a nail tech open for that appointment?

This is a good salon, service is usually done within a timely manner. However it DOES depend on your technician. Unfortunately some of them are just plain sloppy, and do not pay attention to detail for the price of services. Ann, amy, and tran are all great. I cannot speak for Autumn or Lily as Ive never had them. They also do stamp cards so if you go frequently its nice to have a bonus 20 off a service.

Best nail salon in the area! The nail techs do a wonderful job each time. The salon itself is large enough to accomodate many people and it is always spotless. After many failed attempts at other salons in the area, I am so thrilled to have found such an excellent nail salon.

Finished product is definitely not what I asked for! Completely frustrated, came in with a friend with the idea of getting the same nail design. Mine turned out terrible while I specifically asked if the design was something he could do. Why say yes if you can’t do the design! Definitely not returning

I used to go there when they first open and they was great and for whatever reason each time I would come it would take longer and longer the last time I just came for a fill-in and I was there 3 hours never ever again will I go back I dont know what was going on why they have changed with a customer service but I will not go back there again I dont care how nice the place is they change and step down.and I ended up leaving and not getting my nails done at all waited 3 hours it was a waste of my time. People need to remain the same when you start good you need to finish good in order to keep consistent customers.

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE!! I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. I called twice to make appointments (as suggested on their website) for my 90 year old Mother and myself. The first time I was put on hold for over seven minutes. The second time I was on hold for 30+ minutes before I hung up. The customer service here is absolutely abysmal. For the record, the actual mani/pedi service was mediocre at best as I took my Mom there once before. Truthfully, I only ever patronized this salon because of the location and the ease of maneuvering a wheelchair in the salon itself. If you don’t care about how you’re treated and if you don’t mind less than average services, this is your place. Personally, I won’t spend another dime in Signature Nail Salon.

My elderly mother and I had a very bad experience here. We walked in and put our names down and waited forty minutes. Other customers came in after us and were quickly attended to (they did not have appts.). Finally the a gentleman said he would be right with us and allowed us to sit in the pedicure chair. My mother has mobility issues so I did my best to get her situated in the chair, it needed to be reclined, but despite seeing us struggle, none of the many staff offered to help us with the chair. Finally, I realized we were completely ignored and we were not welcomed here. We felt it was best to leave. It took us a good five minutes to leave the salon because my mother uses a walker, not one of the workers even looked up or tried to make the situation right. A happy ending here, I drove to Pro Nails around the block. They greeted us and took us right away. My mom felt pampered and we were able to humiliating experience of Signature Nails behind us.

Lovely place. Lovely staff. Great service options. Pricey but good service. Spent $110 for full Pedicure and Manicure. Options can be decided based on your budget.

This place is over priced for the quality you receive. I got a full set acrylics and my left hand was longer than my right and some of the nails were filed uneven. I had to go home and fix them myself. 4 days later and they are already starting to fall off! Definitely will not be back. Foxy nails is way better and cheaper.

I’ve tried about 5 different nail salons before I found signature. I won’t go anywhere else now. They are punctual and at a great value.

I am currently sitting in the chair getting a pedicure. I havent had a pedicure in God knows how long....and with job requires me to walk for 8 hours... my feet are beat... so if you want to feel like a million bucks after working like a slave... come here..they will treat you like royalty...I swear by them

Dont be fooled by the professional, sleek look.Bad Experience. Rushed through service. Gel nails lasted less than 30 hours.I am not from Ann Arbor but went for a gel manicure while I was in town and before going on a long trip. I opted for gel as I usually do.The person doing nails (I wouldnt call her a manicurist) was rushing through every step. She cut half of my cuticles (sometimes too short, hurting me), then shaped my nails but they were all crooked shapes. I had to ask her to reshape them three times. She was getting annoyed and was shaking the base coat as a sign of I want to move on..When she was applying the base coat and colors, she did not seal the tip of my nails. Every other manicurist would do it and say its the no1 thing to do to stop the gel from peeling. Curious about her method, I asked her nicely: How do you seal the end of the nails? She acted as if she did not understand me, and then told me: We dont need to do it.She proceeded to ask me if I get my nails done often. I said: Im not a pro, but I do have a light and usually do my nails myself when Im at home. She sarcastically said: Oh, so you must be a pro now.Well, Im happy I have a light at home because she only sealed the topcoat and I ended up having to re-do the topcoat at home after 1.5 days. My nails started peeling after 30 hours. Even worst, one of the nail had a rough edge (due to bad filing). I told her before she applied the topcoat, so she could file it before sealing with the topcoat, but she didnt do it until after the topcoat was cured. She then filed harshly, filing off all of the coats of polish, exposing my nail and inviting my nails to peel so quickly.The experience also included a hand massage, which felt more like the handshake your dad would give to your boyfriend when youre 16. You know, the bit too strong but Im testing your strength type of handshake.I wouldnt recommend for the lack of respect and condescending tone.I wouldnt recommend the service. It was rushed.I wouldnt recommend for the low quality, as the gel lasted even shorter than regular polish.I wouldnt recommend for the bad massage, nobody needs to be tested for strength after a mani.Find another place, or even, do it yourself, itll be better at least.I hope this helps!

Got right in at my scheduled appt time. The technician simply walked away after completing my service without saying a word. She offered no instructions on how long to wait for my nails to dry. She did not say good bye. She did not thank me coming in (nor was I able to thank her, I didnt realize she had moved on to the next client). Limited knowledge of the English language is no excuse for poor customer service. I wouldve even been okay with a smile and a nod.

I was a little skeptical to give this place a chance because of all the bad reviews but I did and I couldnt be happier, its honestly the best nail salon Ive ever be too.I love my nails and the women there were so sweet and its sad that some people didnt have a good experience.

Visiting from out of town. Had my little ones nails and toes polished! The technician engaged her and made it a very pleasant experience. Clean facility and friendly. We enjoyed ourselves😊

Clean and up to date. Most of the staff is friendly and thuro.This last time i went was not as plesantshe was irretated because I only got the classic package, she was, in a hurry not talkative and did not take her time on my feet legs or when asked twice still did not cut my toe nails and did not clean the cuticles.

Did my nails 2 days ago paid 40 dollar for bad job. one hand is with even nail s and the other one with no even nails and scratchy from edges plus there is no color on the top nail when I look at them from top edge. One nail is not painted fully and it has empty spot. The lady who was doing my nails did not pay much attention to what she is doing because she was on the phone from the time she begun to the end. She was leaving my nails in the middle of doing her job to fix the Bluetooth of her phone. or leave me to go to the bathroom. she did not talk to me at all it is like I am only a tool she is working at. I would forget about her non stop phone calls if she did a good job but paying 40 dollar for incomplete job is not acceptable.

My nails look ok but they were very rushed and rough. There was hardly anyone in the salon and they rushed so fast through my mani/pedi. It was far from relaxing. Also left with several bloody cuticles.

Its an ok spot. VERY hit or miss depending on the technician. Ive walked out of there with lumpy too thick $50 nails and was highly upset. The prices are a scam and are never the same price even though I went for 3months consecutively. If you ask for a pricebefore they do your nails it will be cheaper and you can literally see them making prices up off the top of their heads so s wasnt a fan of that. Overall I would say try booking an appointment with katie or Ann, if not go to A2nails they dont rush to finish your nails doing a sloppy job.

Decent service, but the wait time is always underestimated. Theyll tell you 20 minutes, but in all actuality itll be 45+ minutes. Just shows they dont respect their customers time.

I like it but the nails can be a little thick. My sister and I went for pedicure a few weeks ago and The water was not very warm, we asked the girls to make it hotter but they just kept going it was a great pedicure I will try it one more time.

Made an appointment online 3 days in advanced - showed up and was told that I would need to wait 45 minutes. I showed them my text with the date and time of my appointment and they said they do not accept appointments online.I then told them that the tab on their website says differently.Super disappointed, I’m 38 weeks pregnant and was looking forward to getting my nails done.Would sit an wait but I have another appointment today.

This place isn’t so great... I’m disappointed because the lady who did my hands rushed and charged me so much for something that started chipping the next day..They don’t do nothing right.

I started supporting this salon after they recently opened and dropped off a brochure at my job. They started off very nice and caring, but got too cocky after everyone started coming there. To be honest, I’m actually glad to take my business back to Foxy Nails. After getting shellac’s repeatedly, I noticed my nails started to become really fragile, so I decided to get a regular manicure instead. They kept questioning me as to why I wasn’t spending as much, like it’s any of their business (you’re still making money, so why question your clients). They also kept pressuring me to get more services which was very annoying and unprofessional. When I got my first shellac done, they messed up on a nail so I went back the next day, and the short woman manager had an attitude with me, and when I asked her grab my stamp card from my nail tech, she literally rolled her eyes at me. The last straw, was whe they had the nerve to tell me that I had to walk in to get service because I needed to rush to the hospital for a family emergency and couldn’t make it in time to my appointment. This was very disappointing, especially since I spent around $100 every two weeks there. Not to mention the fact that I to wait plenty of times behind everyone else (they usually like to help Caucasian people before others) when I have an appointment scheduled at a specific time.

The nail lady that did my nails didn’t even file the nails left the very crooked and unshaped took 2 hours to do my nails when it should of only taken less than hour, very unsatisfied, had never even seen her before.

Usually nail salon in the area tend to do nothing of what you asked for. I was surely skeptical about spending money here quickly i learned that it was going to be worth it when i walk in and the place is SPOTLESS! i’m greeted quickly, i was with two of my sister and we were all getting Full Sets it was busier than any other salon i’ve gone to on a saturday morning so the wait was about +45 which is pretty quick i thought because there were many girls waiting once i sat down my nail tech was very nice asked what i wanted and gave me exactly what i wanted! from the shape to the length! i’ve gone another 2 times and have loved my experience!

Lots of pedicure chairs as well as lots of tables to get a mani. Very clean! Friendly staff! My nails look amazing. They have an excellent selection of nail polishes/shellac colors. Well definitely return! My favorite place for a mani/pedi in Ann Arbor!

It’s a nice place and clean , and that good thing is a relaxing place .I have a good experience there , the only thing they need to add more colors for chrome nails 😊😊

I went to this place based on reviews. Not happy came in they didn’t take my coat so it’s lying on the floor didn’t offer for a place to put it. I got a mani on the chair and pedi in the same chair took the lady 25 mins to do my nails she rushed through it didn’t have me pay or even give my flip flops then said sit for 15 mins and walked away and never came back.

The best pedicure and manicure I’ve ever received! Reasonable prices and friendly staff. No access from inside the mall. Located by Von Maur and JC Penny. I had a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure and it totalled at $58 (before discount) but they have 20% off services until September 15th, 2018.

They don’t take appointments and when I walked in they said 30 minutes then changed it to 10 when I said I needed to run errands and would be back in 20. I have now been sitting here waiting almost 30 minutes and don’t think it’s my turn anytime soon based on observations.

They did a beautiful service and I loved it but my schellac mani turned brown about 2 days after I got them done. I’ve had this mani many times before and this is the first salon that this has happened. I was also not offered a beverage.
