They need to slow down. I made an appointment and requested the male gentlemen. The lady that did my nails is the same person that always leaves my cuticles bleeding, moves too fast, and does not listen to requests. My nails are left hurt and all are different shapes for a french shellac manicure. There’s a part of my thumb not even painted. I wanted to give this place yet another try for its great location to home but after today. It’s the same repetitive situation each time.

A friend and I called and tried to make appointments and they told us to come in right away. We came in for manicures and we’ve never had such a bad experience. We told them we wanted square shaped nails and we left with all of our nails different shapes, none of them square. The actual paint job was horrible and she didn’t do enough coats so it’s see through. She was rough with my nails and overall a terrible experience. Would give them 0 stars if I could.

Love the color. However, my nails are not smooth. You can see where the top cop is all smudged. As though it was an old bottle of top coat. I did the dip. I’ve never seen my nails look this awful. There are waves, smears, bumps and it’s just a mess. I’m saddened. Not only did I pay 45$ I’m now having to go get them fixed elsewhere.

Nail salon looks nice but if you make an appointment they won’t attend you on time. I made an appointment for my daughter at 3 and they weren’t ready so they said they would call when they were. I waited one hour in the parking lot with no call and then left. One hour after I left they called me and told me that they were ready for me to come to the appointment.

Services were provided and completed satisfactory, but do plan to wait if your visiting this salon. I called ahead of time and had an appointment and still had to wait an extended period of time before a tech was available to complete my service.

Poor services we felt they were being prejudice we walked in and they rolled they eyes. Then had us waiting for 10mins before they told us they could not help us because they have a 4:30 appointment and it was only 3:00pm. & three were people not working just sitting there! It’s my daughters 10Birthday she just wanted a pedicure and a manicure . They turned us away and lost out on future clients we went to the nail bar instead! GoThere this business needs to be shut down! No room for this kinda behavior!

I was looking forward to a manicure for weeks because it was my first one. The worker gave me a manicure with no paint and told me I was all done. I was confused and let down, but I checked out and left. After thinking about it I realized they solely didn’t ask me if I wanted them painted because of the fact that I’m a guy. I was so excited for the nail design.

Have you ever had a manicure so lovely you cant stop looking at it? That was me today. Prices hit the median on my internal scale--more expensive than a rural nail salon with similar services, but excellent for a metropolitan area with no wait time. Male and female employees were similarly professional, though all spoke English as a second language. Gladly accepted credit cards, though requested cash when possible to keep their prices competitive.

I used to drive out to Ypsilanti. I stopped in here once to have my nails reshaped and polished. Le did such a good job and was very sweet that I kept going back!

Great service and wonderful work by Tony whose meticulousness will make huge difference in the longevity of my gels. Ive been having my nails done for over 20 years and know what lasts. In addition, my 12 year-old daughter just loved her pedicure and she is a nail enthusiast and said she LOVES her toes and wants to go back! I absolutely love this nail salon, they do a great job and their prices are super reasonable. There is often a wait time but its usually not too long if you go at the right time. Im always satisfied with my gel manicures whenever I come here. Celena also does AWESOME nail art. Highly recommend this salon

I went to this nail salon a few years ago and was not impressed. The staff was not very friendly. I heard there were new owners and decided to go back. OH. MY. GOSH. YOU. GUYS. I walked in around 5:30pm on a Friday to treat myself to a pedicure, and got seated right away. The technician I had was super friendly, and did a GREAT job massaging and scrubbing my achy feet. She did a fantastic job with the polish. After we were done I told her that I had two little boys at home, and this was rare me time. Since I had surprisingly gotten really into the cheesy made-for-tv movie on the big screen television, she said as long as they didnt need the chair that I could stay as long as I want. I stayed and used the massage chair for another half hour and finished watching the movie. They have made a new client into a regular client! The salon was clean and bright, and for $28 the pedicure was tops. I will definitely try to make this a more regular part of my self-care routine!

Just got my nails done with Tony. He got skills. I asked for dragonfly design but he had no experience. He looked it up on the Internet and voila! There it is! He does a great job.

The staff are very respectful and friendly. Kelly does my nails and she does an excellent job! I like her attention to detail with my cuticles as well as my nails. Everything is nice and clean. The massage chairs are wonderful.

My toes needed to be filed better than what they did. My nails kept snagging on everything. The polish was a bit sloppy, I needed to clean the polish off my skin when i got home. In a pinch i may visit again but definitely not my first choice.

I love this place! They are professional and very very clean. They use disposable liner in pedicure tub and sterilize all mani and pedi tools. They also use disposable buffer and files! Plus technician did an awesome job in my nails. I would recommend everyone to go there!

Decent place for affordable simple manicures and pedicures. Laid back atmosphere and the staff is well trained and kind. I dont do anything more complex than simple manicures and pedicures- so I cannot comment on things like getting fake nails , fillers, and elaborate varnishes. Usually you get a nice foot and leg massage in the pedicure process, and hot compress wrap of the lower leg. They stay busy, so choose your times for walk-in service- earlier in the day on weekdays it is often slower . I cant imagine what the people whining about chipping their OWN NAILS due to use of their HANDS over a several day period would have against this enterprise, but the low reviews here do seem to be about that , and not about the actual service rendered.

I went to US Nails to just get my acrylics off, the lady was very nice but she didn’t take my acrylics off all the way. She took them off with another acrylic nail which is not what normally happens when you get your acrylics off. I would not recommend US nails.

Would not recommend. Got basic manicure and polish. No gel or shellac. The lady didnt cut all my cuticles. I picked a polish. I was clearly to old when she started but she kept adding liquid to it and putting it into a machine to shake it. It did not work. It was so thick my nails still werent dry 2hrs after I left. Thats after sitting in front of the fan and then them sitting me under the light twice. They were ruined and I had to redo them myself. My moms pedicure was not good either. She also had to redo hers. Save your money

This is a great place overall. Affordable and all the nail techs are very nice and respectful. They do a great job on your toes and nails and do not try to upsell you (big plus for me!). I have been here a few times and always enjoy the conversations and overall atmosphere. Great location next to a coffee shop so you can go get a coffee or beverage before getting your nails done :)

Wonderful atmosphere!

The woman glued on the wrong size tips for my nail bed and got glue all over my skin. The man who finished them told me the length I wanted was too short for oval shape even tho Ive had them done the same way at happy nails many times. He filed the edges of my fingers and made me bleed. Then after he was done painting he bumped my hand when he got up and smudged polish, he put more polish on top of the smudge instead of removing and repainting but by that point I was already bummed about the length and shape so I didnt care enough to say anything about the lumpy polish. It also looks like they were done a week ago because the polish starts so far out, I can see my moons. Maybe they were just having an off day, but I dont think Ill go back.

Le is absolutely amazing. Never thought I’d say this but he’s better then tu. When she worked here...but he can make your dreams come true! He does EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you can think of! Never going anywhere else.

The pedicure was going amzing until the painting part. There is polish on my skin. I have never had to touch up a professional pedicure before. He said he needed to grab a base color because I just chose a glitter. He grabbed a Grey which was great but then never put my blue glitter on it saying the Grey was glittery already and the blue was too watery to use?! So now I’m stuck with a bad paint job and a color I don’t really care for. Won’t be back

One of my very few favorite salons, as its hard to find really friendly service, imo. I love all of their staff and most of them, most of the time, do an excellent job. A few times, Ive had some uneven acrylics and a nick here and there. Otherwise, they do an overall great job balancing time efficiency and quality. I never feel upsales pressure here, either. Great prices.

I recently moved to the Dexter/Ann Arbor area and needed a nail salon and I found US nails and I absolutely LOVE going here. Every time they do a fantastic job and there is little to no wait!

I cant speak on services outside their acrylic nails since I wont be going back, but I am literally distraught over the worksmanship for acrylics. I went in with long, almond shaped nails that just needed a fill. I asked for them to be slightly cut down while keeping the shape and the tech I got clearly had no experience! He took my nails down so short that they are barely past my fingers, and even the owner(Im assuming) came over and told him they were too short. At this point-I didnt trust them to replace the damage with a new set and just wanted out. The owner kept telling me shorter are more natural, he doesnt charge as much, etc. etc. but my gosh have some professionalism! If youre staff arent trained to do nails and you have even identified they didnt do a good job-DONT LET THEM DO NAILS!!! Ive had my nails done for over 15 years, used numerous salons and have never been so disappointed. Do not go here-save your money and go somewhere else as thats what Ill be doing to correct the damage done.

Very impressed by how good my nails looked after 3 weeks. Got many compliments on them.

When we first started going to this salon, the service was nice. However, in the past several months, the salon has been unable to accommodate walk-in appointments. Several times, whether trying to walk-in or trying to call several hours in advance for an appointment, they have denied us, stating that there is no room for two people to receive services that day. We will not be returning to the salon and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Wast of time and money. I went in on Friday to get my nails shellaced and by Tuesday 4 had chipped. I called US nails (which they were really nice about fixing them) and went back and had them repaired on Thursday but by Monday two of the re-done nails chipped. I dont even want to go back again. Very disappointed

The time is 4:30pm, Saturday July 23rd. According to the sign on the door and the Web, US Nails closes at 6:30pm, and walk-ins are welcome. Well I just tried to walking in and getting a mani-pedi, whereupon, I was turned out as they only had two hours until close and wouldnt be able to get to me. I will never patronize this establishment, wouldnt want to inconvenience anyone to do their job.

I was pretty upset with the last mani/pedi I had. They had me make an appointment for 3pm, (the other two people I was with got both their manicure and pedicure finished and I was still sitting there! I had to uber home!) at 4pm they finally asked me what I was getting and started my pedicure but the water was cold. They Didnt cut my nails or even shape them and the polish looked pretty bad. It chipped within the next day. Sad by this experience.

A little on the price side but it was a fun atmosphere, and the nail tects were very nice.

Don t waste your time. Nail techs are not properly trained to provide manicure and pedicure services. In addition, the product used for acryllic nails is VERY POOR and they use an old product. I had to return several times for breakage (I have worn acryllic nails for many years and never had the experience I had at this salon). Further more the service was TERRIBLE! Nail techs attitudes are abrasive. Nail techs are rude. If you need a little TLC this is NOT the place to go!

My toe nails were cut so short they are bleeding. When I insisted he stop, and said I was leaving, he threatened to call the police. Caution!Peroxide and time will heal this but I’m never going to this place again.
