This place is great - very friendly and professional staff and they make you feel welcome, appreciated and ask you a lot of questions about you want and at the same time are skilled in bringing out the best in your hair. I went and saw Hilary for the bayalage and she was friendly, professional and did a great job! Im returning. Its also a cozy atmosphere in the middle of Kerrytown.

I went into Encore for a haircut and highlights following a long period of time not taking care of my hair while pregnant and with a newborn. Sarah H did an AMAZING job with my color! When she was done, you could never tell it had been about a year since it was last highlighted. She was also super friendly and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend Sarah to anyone!

I followed my stylist, Christine, here from another salon about a year ago. Encore Studio has easily accessible parking, contemporary design, refreshments, and friendly staff. I can only speak to the hair portion, but they also offer manicures/pedicures, makeup and waxing. Christine has been terrific with cut, color and the styling of my hair. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, and they use quality products. It is a little pricier than other salons, but definitely worth it!

I have been going to Encore for over 20 years. Love, love, love the place! I always see Michelle and can’t imagine her not doing my blonde! My husband sees Carolyn and he always comes home looking so handsome! My teenage daughters have been to other stylists there depending on who can accommodate their sports schedules. We’ve always been happy with any stylist we’ve had. I highly recommend trying Encore Studios.

Ive been getting my hair cut at Encore for the past few years, and Im consistently very pleased with their service. The staff at the reception desk are friendly and always offer you a drink while you wait. The stylists are highly skilled and take the time to ask what you want and really listen. They also use great products, which keep my hair looking smooth and tame even for a couple days afterward! I recently got some coloring done here, and am so pleased with the way it came out. I highly recommend this studio if youre looking for a place with a posh atmosphere and some of that Kerrytown charm along with reasonable prices for great service.

Ive been going to Encore for a few years. I havent found a stylist who Im particularly fond of so I tend to just take whoever is available. Their haircuts have been good overall (4/5). Ive gotten my eyebrows done a few times there as well, but this last time was a bit of a disaster. Im not sure what the deal was, but the next day it looked like either parts of my skin was missing or burned. Yikes. Would think twice about going next time.Edit: They were able to find out the issue with their wax and issued me a refunded, unprompted. A+ customer service.

Great service and great haircut from my favorite stylist Randall! Shes one of the few talented stylists that can cut Asian hair intuitively and beautifully. Ive tried many different stylists and salons to mediocre results and now I follow her to Encore where she is doing amazing work. Highly recommend everyone to give Randall your trust, especially for you out there with challenging strong hair!

Super friendly people.The execution of my haircut was way subpar.First picture is my current, uneven, too short hair (she even used thinning shears on a 40 year old man with thinning hair).second picture is the picture I gave her to use as a guide which she said she understood.🤷‍♂️So I paid $40 for a haircut that Im going to cover up with a ball cap until it grows out again.

Caroline was amazing! Im new to the area and had no idea where to get it cut. Im also super picky about my haircut so its never easy finding a place I love in the first shot. But this place is amazing! Great customer service...offered me a drink as soon as I walked in! If you need a new look or have no idea where to go this place is it!

Friendly staff, nice location, didnt have to wait long. Haircut (just a trim) was fine and she gave me a nice blowout. Would return.

Nice place and people. Not happy with my blow out by the Stylist Bee. Doesnt take the time to really blow it out and style it - doesnt do it in sections. Looked awful and had to go out looking like that after.

She took off a little more than I thought she was but it is a great cut and done well. Great place and worth the pain it is to park in Kerrytown.
