The stylist my wife had was the worst to her. Did not understand what French tips were and kept confusing what the colors needed to be. Was in a constant rush to move my wife from station to station to get to the people that appeared more wealthy. The sheer disrespect was not even using the correct equipment to dry her nails. She was forced to use a machine made to dry your toe nails for her hands, which of course chipped them. What a waste of money and wont come back here until management retrains their stylists.

Always a great experience when I go here. They have a wide variety of shellac colors which I love. Unu is so amazing with my nails and a shellac manicure will last me up to a month. Customer service is always great and helpful!

They were super busy when I came in and I had to wait a while, but the person assigned to me reassured me that she would be with me as soon as she finished her other client without me having to ask. The overall experience was good, and they made sure to make clear that they were using sterile and clean tools on my nails. After I left, I noticed I badly smudged one of my nails and they redid it for me free of cost. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and I’ll be sure to come back!

I got my nails done here (dip manicure) on Sunday the 12th, and they chipped on Monday. A typical dip manicure doesn’t chip for 2-3 weeks for me and I didn’t do any activities that would cause this. Fairly disappointed at the quality of my manicure considering what i paid.

Wonderful nail salon. They are extremely accommodating, and will make sure to take the time needed to fully give you what you want! All of the nail techs are very friendly, and make you feel super comfortable. My dip nails look amazing, and my daughters dip nails & pedicure turned out beautifully! The salon is super clean and they’re following strict Covid precautions. Will definitely be returning!! :)

I just started getting dip powder manicures here and Ava does such a fantastic job - my first manicure lasted 4 weeks! Everyone Ive interacted with in the salon is so kind and welcoming too. Im so happy I found this place and Im looking forward to coming back.

I came in for a dip repair, with a manicure that I had done at another salon. And while finishing the repair the nail technician use a gel topcoat, which is not necessary with a dip manicure. The system works perfectly as it is designed. I don’t see why are using a shellac topcoat on a dip manicure was necessary. While I understand that I just came in for a repair, the nail that was repaired is not even on the end of the nail.

I used to go often to this place. Most of the time I had my nails done well. This last time I decided to get deep pedicure and manicure with dip powder on my nails. I was so frustrated during my appointment. I had to keep asking them to fix things on my nails over and over. I paid a total of $105 + tip and 5 days later my dip powder is already chipped. My nail polish on my toes we’re awful too. I probably could have done a better job at home with cheap nail polish. I am never coming back to this place.

I had my upper and lower eyeliner done by Camilla and it looks great. I asked for a natural look so she did fine line lash detail. Its just what I hoped for as my lashes are thin and few and I rarely wear makeup. I had one touch up session. Here is my before and after.

Made the appointment online and was seated promptly when I arrived. I was handed an array of available colors and even though I have selection anxiety I was able to make a choice and not feel horrible about it, lol. I waited a few minutes then Phong came over and said he could do my nails. I’ve never had dip done before and didn’t know what to expect, but I love them! I felt like the place was very clean and overall am very happy with my experience. I’ll be back in a few weeks!

I had an awful experience here. Everything seemed rushed and overall just unsatisfactory. The dip was completely transparent (partially my own fault, but it did no appear transparent on the sample I was given and there was no warning). When I brought it up the nail tech said “yea I noticed that.” And continued to do my nails. When I asked for it to be fixed she through a quick layer of shellac over the top and warned me that I would probably be charged for it (I have no idea if I was). Overall, my nails were messy, very very thick, and uneven (In shape and overall just lumpy). I will not be returning.

I have been coming to BeeQ for a little over a year and I’ve never had a bad experience. The workers their are great and really accommodate their clients. They do a wide range of nails such as gel, dip, or spa manicures/pedicures. They also offer a wide array of waxing and facial services. Even with COVID-19, the staff was great and conducted proper safety regulations (such as a temperature check, hand sanitizer, and screens between stations). Their point system is great, especially when you are regular like myself. I highly recommend this place and the volcano spa pedicure!

I have been coming here for pedicures for the last couple of years and they have always done a great job. The nail salon is clean and the service is great.

My best friend surprised me with facials and gel manicures for my birthday. It was a wonderful experience!! They were able to give us vegan and cruelty free facials and manicures! We made sure to check their website so we knew which products were vegan and they had no issues accommodating us. Unu was incredibly sweet and gave me an amazing facial and I can’t stress this enough, the best manicure I have ever had. She took extra care to shape my long natural nails and everything was CLEAN. Brand new disposable files and a new drill bit. She even got a freshly disinfected cuticle pusher after I accidentally knocked the one she had off the table. I can’t recommend this place enough! I will be back to see Unu, and Cimone at the front desk was such a treat! Don’t hesitate to visit these amazing women!

Very bad pedicure. A waste of $35 and they acted like they could not understand me. There was still callousness on my feet.

I had me and my daughters nails done here twice now! The ladies Ava and Camilla are beyond nice. I personally never know what I want done and Ava always helps figure it out and does an amazing job! Camilla does my daughters and she loves how professional she is. Thank you ladies so much. I would drive a distance every time for the ladies to do my nails!

My appointment started on time, the place had a nice clean and relaxing ambiance. Pedicure was done pretty well. My only complaint is the pricing of the eye brow threading. I tacked that service on while there so I was pretty shocked when it came time to cash out that it was $18! Been doing threading since I was 13 -- it shouldnt be more than $10 at most. Its a roughly 7-minute service using thread! Had I known (or could have even anticipated), I would not have gotten them done.

A beautiful salon with friendly, welcoming, thorough, and careful staff! I got my temperature taken along with other clients, there were separators between client and staff, and we were spread out in the salon as to not be too close. Staff continuously sanitized and cleaned up immediately after clients left. I was looking for a nail salon to love and continue going back to in Ann Arbor, and I’ve found one!

Last summer I had to stop going to my longtime nail salon and started looking for a new regular place. I am pretty particular - Im always very concerned about the cleanliness, and its also important that I patronize a place that treats its employees well. This place is owned by a woman, and she is fantastic. Its a well-run operation, the place is super-clean, they use a lot of natural products (to the extent that they can, as a nail salon) and both the owner (Camilla) and the manager (Unu) do a phenomenal job. Highly recommend.

I am disappointed to be writing this review because I had a pretty good experience in the shop itself, but I will likely not be returning to BeeQ Spa.The atmosphere was very pleasant and upbeat, despite a long wait time, even with an appointment.I am extremely disappointed, however, by the dip manicure I received. It looked fantastic for the first 5 days, but began peeling off the edges of my nails as they grew. By one week and two days after the manicure, pieces began chipping off.

***Best nail salon in Ann Arbor, hands down!*** And I have been to many different ones. This is the most thorough salon, you will get a very careful manicure from start to finish. Unu and Camilla have done my nails to far (powder dip with acrylic tips). Beautiful job every time. Highly recommend! Make an appointment ahead of time if you can.

I’ve been here 5 times now and not once has my scheduled service started on time. Today and my last visit I sat for over 30 minutes waiting. On my last visit myself and two other patrons wait 45 minutes in silence while they opened the salon and watched technicians walked in late to start the day.All three of us had appointments that were then rushed because of the late start. I enjoy booking online and having the menu available but not sure I’ll be coming back here after today. They clearly have a staffing issue.**update** I waited 45 minutes (after making and appointment)for a 17 minute pedicure.. start to finish! 100% never coming back. I also over heard the front desk staff laughing about how they needed to refund someone AGAIN. Super unprofessional.

I was concerned that they would need to be removed to fix them. But Susan, this beautiful nail tech!!! She fixed them up and made them look STUNNING. This place is great! All of the nail techs are skilled & friendly, you can schedule appointments online, and they do a great job waxing. Somehow their eyebrow waxing isnt painful so no complaints there.Please keep in mind that, while you can schedule appointments online, you can only cancel by phone. If you miss 3 appointments, they will only see you on a walk-in basis (oops!).

Got our lashes curled and tinted by Camilla the owner of the spa. She uses the best products and is so gentle during the whole process. We also got our nails done by Cara, loved them. Highly recommend this place

Ive been loyal to this salon since my first visit, and they have yet to disappoint! Hailey did a fantastic job on my nails today, including fixing some issues with the glitter before I even mentioned anything. This place is wonderful. The staff are all friendly and professional. The place is neat and clean. They really care about doing quality work. I had my first nail dips done here and they both turned out strong and beautiful. Also, the salon has an online scheduler so you can set up appointments online if youre the kind of person who is wary of making phone calls. They just have the whole package when it comes to quality and service. If youve never been here, I highly recommend this location.

Very disappointed as it took over an hour just to get a gel manicure. I didnt even get acrylics or anything. I was confused because they didnt use a black light the entire time and afterwards I just had to put my hands under a fan for 18 minutes. I dont have that kind of time!! Just put my hands under a black light!! After 18 minutes of my hands under the fan I bumped one and it smudged. Since I had already been there for over an hour I didnt want to wait for it to be redone. I will probably just go to Bebes in the future because it is always much quicker and the same quality.UPDATE: Just had to edit my review to one star because my nails just smudged a half hour after i left. Im so mad lol I have to go to A DIFFERENT SALON now to get them done.

This salon went above and beyond my expectations! I recently moved to the area and have heard nothing but wonderful things about this place and decided to give it a shot. I got my lashes done with Camilla and I’m in love! Everyone greeted me with a smile when I walked in, you defiantly won’t be disappointed with this salon.

Camilla is awesome! She has created a wonderful spa that is outstanding in every way! The atmosphere is very calm and the product seletion is great. My daughter and I both had fantastic pedicures! I have had 2 shellac manicures here so far and they stayed looking great for more later than 2 weeks which is longer than I am used to. I love this place!

Had an amazing experience at BeeQ Spa! Got a wonderfully done shellac manicure and a perfect eyebrow and facial wax, didnt feel a thing! Have been going to Camilla (the owner) for years for nails and waxing treatments for years and I highly recommend booking an appointment with her!

I had a wax with Camilla and she was great! I was unfortunately late to my appointment and they still accommodated me, and we were actually done early. The price for a full leg and brazilian was only $105, around 20-30 dollars cheaper than most places in Ann Arbor. One of the best wax experiences Ive had, Ill be back.

On Thursday, I went in for a shellac manicure with my friend and while we were both content with the quality of our nails we were both very disappointed with the staffs customer service. We both had made appointments online and when were arrived on time staff was very rude with us. No one introduced themselves to us, asked if we needed anything, and every interaction was very short. Both my friend and I noticed that were were the only patrons not offered something to drink in the hour and a half were were there. Additionally, during the entire duration of our appointment the staff loudly and in very poor taste discussed their other coworkers and even other customers who had just left. This altogether made for a very uncomfortable experience and I neither my friend nor I will be returning to BeeQ or recommending it.

Im not sure I would go to this nail salon again. The decor was pretty nice overall. I was greeted when I came in the door and the technician doing my nails brought me back and had me seated within 3 minutes.Despite the promising start, I sat there for good 10 to 12 minutes with my feet in the cooling water. It was only once I asked someone where the technician was that she came out. She grabbed my feet without a word and started on my pedicure. This wasnt my first time at a nail salon and I have to say this was one of the rougher experiences Ive had. It was quite painful. I felt completely unwelcome -- and even more so when the technician made an appointment following mine in front of me and then proceeded to sped through the rest of my pedicure and manicure.It wasnt until I went to actually pay that someone tried to make conversation with me and apologize for the delay at the beginning.EDIT: I am adding one star to my initial review because of the quality of my mani+pedi. It has been a little over a week and the shape of the nails and shellac is holding up great. I just wish I had a better experience while there.

My family and I were very pleased with the professionalism of the staff. We had 7 women and one 4 year old little girl and when we walked in the door we were greeted by a friendly desk associate who patiently guided us all through our mani and pedi services. Our services ranged from Gel pedis and manis to traditional manis and pedis. Everyone of us were pleased with the our nails and toes. From the shape of our nails to the polish, we were please! We were all smiling when we walked out. The only reason we couldnt give BeeQ a 5 star rating is we were just a tad bit late getting out for our baby shower. But, we completely understand that we were a large group of ladies :). Overall, we want to say thank you Bee Q Spa for getting our Sprinkle Shower Day off to an excellent start!

I had an wonderful experience ! I went in for a Brazilian wax (it was my first time getting one ) Camille made me feel so comfortable. She got all in there if you know what I mean . I will definitely be coming back for more services .

I’m not sure I would go here again, I didn’t want to hurt the guys feelings and he was nice but he didn’t really understand what I was saying. He stabbed me quite a few times, then he cut my nails so short that you can see the flesh coming up and he was trying to cut my skin under the nails! The shape was also extremely weird, like all lopsided and different lengths on all my fingers. I couldn’t exactly ask him to stick it back on. So now I have some really super stubby weirdly shaped nails. The other technicians seemed nice too, but I don’t think I want to risk it again.

Got my first nail dip here today! Im really excited about the product and had a great experience at the salon as well. Also really like the online scheduling and that they honored my appt time! Planning for this to be my new nail spot in A2!

Reading other reviews, I am entirely confused! I got a powder dip for my first time and when i was done, I hadnt recieved the last top coat and my nails were ALL uneven along with slanted and jagged. I have gone to several different nail salons and I can say by far, this is the only one that I wouldnt even send my worse enemy to. 50 dollars later and my 5 year old could have done a better job. #bringhappynailsback!

Last week on Thursday I did my nail (shellac). Got the manicure (didt ask for one, just asked to change the color) Manicure wast good. When I left, my nail looked nice.By Saturday two of the nails started peeling off. Went back, different girl fixed it.Today is the day number six after original manicure one of the nail PEELED OFF again!Mostly shellac staying on my nail for 2-2.5 weeks... I doing shellac all the time. Not sure whats the problem the girls or the product.I do want to admit, the girls who I talked with are super nice and friendly but I am sad for the service. They were very busy but still fitted me in, which I appreciate.Overall, I am not recommend this place...

For a professional establishment the service was entirely unacceptable. As a bridal party with a reservation we were treated very poorly as if we were a burden to accommodate. The receptionist was incredibly rude, and openly talked negatively about our group. Definitely not what anyone looking for a quality relaxing mani/pedi would expect.
