I’ve been going to Pro Nails for about a decade. They are the only spot in Ann Arbor I trust implicitly. It’s always very clean, the staff is always professional and they have the lowest fumes of any nail shop I’ve been into.I took my daughter today and we both fell asleep during our service!😂 I love that they have great staff retention and appreciate seeing all the same familiar faces all of these years.🙏🏽✨

This was my first time here and I cant find the words to describe how nice the staff is! I came in with my 16 month old and it was pretty stressful because you know.. toddlers dont like to sit for long. The staff was kind enough to watch her a lil when I got overwhelmed. Steven the nail tech was really patient and kind the entire time. And my nails look amazing 😍 despite having a toddler in one hand that was moving a lot! Definitely 10/10 would recommend.

I am a regular customer of Tina who is very good. Confirmed her availability by phone and was told it was a mistake when I got there. In retrospect I should not have accepted a poor sub who did lousy job, didnt listen and still kicking myself for tipping him. I will leave before repeating my mistake.

I have had a rollercoaster experience with this salon. This place is nice for manicures—don’t get me wrong, but lack in certain areas. The first time I came, I wanted matte nails. The lady that did my nails did not listen and did not add the matte coat. At the end she applied a gel covering and I said, “Don’t forget the matte.” She looked up and said, “You don’t need matte. The shine looks so pretty.” I’m very non-confrontational so I just nodded. Second time, I like the work they did. I did not ask for matte and the manicure was really nice. However the paint work was not the best. This most recent time which is probably my last time, I got a full set. The nail is about half a inch thick! The color was not at all what I asked for... and he DID NOT ADD THE MATTE COAT I ASKED FOR! $50 yesterday down the drain! The 2 stars go for the nice staff and the one manicure that was okay.

They do a nice job and the prices are fair. Sometimes it gets busy and a little chaotic so I would recommend making an appointment.

This salon is nice inside, they do an okay job. I used to go here a lot but the last few months it seems like the techs are expected to do the services super quickly while also doing a bunch of other stuff so they are distracted. I went last week for a gel manicure and it started peeling 3 days later. With so many salons in the area, I wouldn’t pay $30 + tip for a gel mani or pedi that lasts only a few days.

I usually get dip powder. My appointment took an hour and a half she cut my nails way shorter than I asked for and then blamed it on me saying that next time I should ask for... I think the problem is she didnt understand what I clearly said. Im usually not picky about my nails but she cut me several times and it took forever. The edges are rough and jagged and there is stuff on my skin. The place was big and very busy so clearly some people enjoy their experience with them but I will not be going back.

Entirely satisfied with my visit. I was a walk-in and was immediately attended. Plenty of space for social distancing. I also commend the additional measures for protecting workers and clients, e.g. clear screens, enforced masks, and blocked off areas to prevent getting too close. Great service and quality, too.

This is my go to spot for nails in Ann Arbor. Been a customer for over a decade. Ive tried other Ann Arbor nail salons but I find the consistency of quality and the friendly staff to always win over the competition.

Ive been here a few times and have never been that impressed - service was okay but nothing special. The last time I went, however, seemed really unprofessional. I asked to have acrylics taken off, and instead of soaking in a solution the guy just ripped them off my nails. They hurt for a while afterward, and the filler material is still on a few of my nails. I asked for a regular manicure afterwards, which was pretty sloppy and rushed. It cost $26, and I could have done a better job myself (check the picture). I wont be returning.

Doing a fantastic job at following Covid protocol and keeping people safe. You have to sign in and leave a number for contract tracing (God forbid), they take your temp, no waiting area, all stations are 6 feet apart with a plexiglass barrier between technician and client, pedi bowl liners, masks, gloves...the whole bit all while maintaining professionalism and giving an amazing pedicure. I felt totally safe being here and my toes looks beautiful. Good job pro nails

The staff is friendly. I’m here from Tennessee, and stopped in on a Tuesday evening for the “dip”. It’s was not busy. Which worked out perfectly since I had to get back to the UofM hospital. The nail technician was great. The service was fast. He did a great job with my nails. The only downside is in comparison, when I get my nails done where I’m from, they always end with putting cuticle oil on my cuticles since they’re so dry after getting them done. They did not do that here. Other than that, I would’ve rated them 5 stars. I loved my nails and posted a picture!!! Gray and lavender.

Great job! I got almond shaped acrylics and they look beautiful. Would go again! Only paid $35 for a full set, very spacious. My only complaint would be color choices, a lot of pinks, which is what I got, but I prefer more muted colors. Spacious area, very professional looking, they take walk ins! (Which is why I went)

This shop is amazing. I always receive compliments on my nails after I get them done here. The shellac manicure is reasonably priced, and lasts for a long time. I will say that I made an appointment once and had to wait 30 minutes past the appointment time. So, I would recommend going on a week day as Saturdays get pretty busy (with or without an appt).

This has always been my favorite nail salon. Having moved away from Ann Arbor, I still havent found a place that compares and I get my nails done here when Im in town. The word seems to have gotten out about how good they are, because theyre always busy now. Worth the wait!

Took my 3 year old here for her first Mani and Pedi and the lady (Ron)was SO SWEET. my daughter got antsy towards the end and wiped off four of her nails and she redid them without any fuss at all. Very happy with our experience here!! Will definitely be back .

The pedicure was nice the vibe on the other hand wasnt because of my skin color Im black the awful part no one acknowledge me I spoke and a dry response was what l got in return another woman came in sat at the pedicure chair they picked out her color for her while finally sitting in the pedicure chair I Waited a few minutes than the woman doing my pedicure never spoke to Me at all but I still greeted her than another person came in no waiting the woman doing my pedicure smiling to the woman next to me acknowledging her but couldnt look me in my eyes and just to ask how Im doing !!

I went here during my lunch break for a pedicure and I had a great experience. The salon was clean and fully-staffed, and I was able to get in immediately without an appointment. I was pleased that I could easily communicate with the gentleman doing my nails, as sometimes Ive had trouble with the language barrier at other salons, but that wasnt an issue here. My pedicure looks great and it was a good value, overall.

David is my go to guy! Hes done my nails the past 2-3 times and they are always perfect!!! He has been the only one to get the shape I love absolutely perfect!

This was my first and last time visiting this salon. I walked in and before I could even look around to see what I wanted, prices, or even write down my name, I was barked at to pick a color. I had no idea where the polish even was, so he vaguely pointed to the back wall. When I did finally get to the manicure I was asked to pay ahead of time... smooth move because that’s the only way I would have tipped for such a terrible job. The older attendant was done with my manicure in about 10 minutes, rushed through and globbed on the paint. There are obvious lines in the top coat. It looks awful! The quality is POOR and the service was rushed and the opposite of customer friendly. I was pointed over to the dryers and my attendant disappeared. No one carried over my bag or told me how long to wait. This is easily the worst customer service I’ve seen at a salon.

Jimmy is awesome. I love the friendly and professional staff. The prices are less than many other salons too. I had my eyebrows done here and theyve never looked so good. I have also had the acrylic nail set which was mostly great- but I too, experienced one of the nails coming off rather quickly, both times i had this done. I had to buy nail glue to get to the minimum 2 weeks recommended to fill them again. I had to glue back 2 nails- one tore and it was quite painful. I attribute this mostly due to the fact that I have paper thin, horribly weak nails. (yes, even on awesome prenatal vitamins and taking calcium vit d for YEARS.) its genetics. I will keep coming back, I really like this place.

I’m so disappointed and I’m never coming back. I got shellac nails done and the guy who did my nails was very obviously stoned and he absolutely reeked of weed. He barely filed my nails or touched my cuticles and my nails are a wonky shape. The shellac lasted one day before I got a chip and not even a week has passed and it’s already completely peeling off. I’ve gone to other nail places and my shellac has lasted for a month.

Very clean, very professional and talented employees. Very good prices too, for what you get. Ask for one of the owners, Monica - she is wonderful. The only down side is that a 15 minute childs pedicure is $22 - I think that is way over-priced, they need to lower that price down!

I had my nails done by Monica today. You could tell the salon was very busy due to the holiday, but she was great and made sure I was happy with everything. Great job- Ill definitely be going back!

I had my eyebrows and lip waxed yesterday and while the girl who did the waxing did a great job on cleaning up my brows and lip, my skin has felt extremely irritated, and I discovered that my skin may have in fact been burned somehow during the waxing process as my brows are still red and swollen. Usually it is Monique (the managers wife/co-owner) who does my lip/eyebrow waxing and she is fantastic at it. Always request her if possible but be wary of anyone else!

I wont go anywhere else for my pedicure. For the price you pay, your receive quite a bit of treatment! I love the hot stone massage. Feels so good on my feet!

This was the worst nail shop experience I have ever had. They. completely rushed through my pedicure and nails. when I mentioned this, the women was only concerned with closing, despite the fact that we got there a hour before closing time. My foot and finger were both cut and a poor job done on by feet.

I only gave this place a star because of the salon Ambience. The service was sloppy, rushed, and too expensive for the lack of quality. My daughter and I arrived to the salon 1 hour before closing, a whole hour before closing. There were approximately 6-7 staff present and only two other customers in the salon. The woman was rushing through my pedicure, when I addressed it, she stated “it’s closing time”. Not only was my feet done poorly, I was cut on both my foot and nail due to rushing through the process. We are new to Ann Arbor and I will never return here again.

I went here three times based upon recommendations on google. First time was decent. Second time, I waited for a looong time in the pedicure bath for someone to come do my nails. The third time, they had a very rude teenager at the front desk. When I asked how long there would be for a wait, she said, soon. I waited 45 minutes. I went back up and asked how much longer and was told, I *said* soon. Another thirty minutes and others have gone before me. I finally go up again and ask how long. I get another eye roll and, how am I supposed to know, Im off work. I complain to the manager and he blames ME for not having an appointment. I demanded an apology for the way Ive been addressed and am ignored. When I finally say, Look, I dont need to come here. All I want to know is how long the wait is. This young lady has been rude and disrespectful and refuses to answer. The owner then rolled HIS eyes and walked away. Ill never go back.

Usually really like getting my nails done here. Got here right at 12 on a Sunday and Im still waiting to get my nails done 30 minutes later. Only one nail technician here and about 10 people waiting. Very Unsatisfied.

Well, Ill start by giving the positive parts of my visit. Its in a good location, not too far from the mall. The facility is really nice. The decor is very relaxing and its nice and clean. My overall visit was shameful. After being called over to start my pedi, the gentleman turns on my water and walks away. I put my feet in and the water is cold. I then sit for 20 mins before anyone comes over to service me in my cold water bath. Once a different guy comes to start on my feet, hes polite and apologizes for the wait, then proceeds to do a rush job. He gives me one streaky coat of polish puts a top coat on. Now Im pissed and trying to maintain my composure. I ask him to do another coat because obviously! He tells me that I should choose another color because its just a light pink. As Im now giving him the death stare, I tell him that thats irrelevant and its not acceptable to do one coat of polish, no matter the color. EVER!!! He puts on one more bs coat and does the top coat. Needless to say, Im not coming back. This was a miserable experience

Couldnt be more unhappy, I got shellac for the first time and the VERY NEXT DAY it started peeling off all my nails. It has also been turning my nail beds yellow. It has also been chipping off. I will never be back and will be going to a different nail salon to have this fixed,.

My first visit was great, but after three more gel overlay fills and one pedicure the service changed. Manger was rude. Would not do any sanding on my toe nails nor would they fill the callouses off my feet, which is listed in the description of what I would get for a pedi. At lest three of my nails are cracked within two weeks. Nobody is perfect, but unkindness cost more that I want to pay

My shellac always seems to fall off a few fingers a copule days after I go here. Nice staff, though.

I had a pedicure and manicure today. The guy did a very sloppy, had nail polish all over my toes. when i asked to clean the nail polish around the skin, he got upset and told me I can leave. The worst experience. unprofessional and no quality

Good service, good work, clean and well maintained

Just got my 2nd pedicure, the Deluxe premium service. Unfortunately, both experiences were not good and I can not recommend them. The 1st pedi, the tub only ran cold water so my entire pedicure was done in COLD water...only to find out someone had forgot to turn their hot water in the back on. The 2nd visit today, my daughter and I came together and we had 2 men do our pedis that were COMPLETELY distracted by the football game on the television...and phone calls. They didnt work on our calluses whatsoever, the massage was weak and the stones they brought out were too hot to begin with. Extremely disappointed and will try other salons in the area for a decent pedicure.

I wish it was a bit quieter and more of a peaceful and relaxing spa environment.

Just got done being there and I believe it was the manager who did nails. I told him it was my first acrylic set in a very long time and he was extremely rough with me. He cut my pinky nail cuticle TWICE with the drill and told me that I shouldnt have moved. He then left the store to go take his child somewhere, and while him leaving to take care of something like that that is obviously important, all he did was tell me to sit in front of a fan. He made me feel very anxious and tense the entire time because I was afraid of him hurting my fingers again if I moved too much. Since he scared me when he cut my pinky, I jumped and accidently bumped the Polish on my nails. He made a big deal about having to start over and told all of the other employees that if I messed them up again that someone else would have to fix them; a very embarrassing experience for me to have everyone look at me like an idiot. His wife was very nice and helped all she could.Not only was I physically injured, but it was a very big emotional tole aswell. I was in there for over two hours, and I dont think I will be going back.

It all depends on which tech you get. Sometimes my nails are 💯and sometimes they are meh coming out of there.
