I will NEVER come back to this salon. Do NOT go here. I am horrified. In addition to my nails not looking good and literally bleeding everywhere - the worst part is at the very end they over charged me by $30. When I saw my receipt I asked why I was charged $85 when the menu literally says $55. They said I picked spa I looked at the woman and said I literally pointed at the menu.... You saw which one I picked right? Thinking maybe she did not correctly see and that was the issue. But NOPE. She said yeah but then I asked you spa pedicure and you said yes in which I was shocked and asked again, but I pointed at it twice even when you asked me that- I pointed at the one I wanted. Why would you do that? They then said its okay sometimes YOU make mistakes. Its $85. The entire situation shocked me. I literally did not know how to respond. I told the owner I would never come back. Im absolutely horrified and feel like this salon intentionally overcharged me, which I consider theft. Im absolutely upset. I NEVER leave bad reviews and am very understanding mistakes and misunderstandings can happen but this was not a mistake, it was an intentional ploy by the salon which is unacceptable. Do NOT go here. There are 3 other salons within walking distance

I have tried other places in Alexandria and find myself going back to TM Nail Spa. The staff makes me feel at home and they are so nice. The very few times I have seen minor imperfections in my nails and told them, they were really great about fixing it. I truly love this place.

Hello, this is probably the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. It was carelessly done, no attention to detail. My freshly painted gel manicure looked like a 3 year old did it. My cuticles are ripping and the color is chipping. I would’ve gotten it redone or fixed right after but I was in a rush. Go to Jolie nails or sell Rey nails instead.

The bad reviews are surprising! I have super short, stubbly nails and the gel manicures I’ve gotten at TM Nail Spa last far longer than any others I’ve had in the past. This is my French gel mani 5 days in - still looked and felt like new! This is my go-to nail salon in the Del Ray area.

Went for a $20 manicure. Got what I paid for. My nails look better than they did before I went in, so Id say the ladies at TM did what I needed them to.

I think its good for what it is. I havent had much luck with designs which is what Id really like. But they are good for nail basics. I havent tried any services beyond gel and dip.

Very disappointing. I got a gel manicure and the paint job looks awful. They offered to to redo them but I didnt want the same lady to do the job.

This review is for eyebrows only- I have not done my nails here. This is the best eyebrow job I’ve ever had done, and it’s quick and inexpensive. Highly recommend!

The greeter was nice and the lady who did my nails was ice but the shape of my nails looks horrible. I get my nails this length every month but for some reason they couldn’t file them correctly so they look like bubble nails.A man started on me and I told him shorter nails because I am in the military and he told me wait until he files them, they were still to long.I will not return to this salon

From the moment my daughter and I walked in they were very welcoming...we loved the experience and the women that took care of our manicures and pedicures...thank you so much...we will definitely be back!

U usually go there to get my eyebrows done and the person that usually does it does a good job. I went on 13 September and they had some aone that completely jacked up my eyebrows. She took out took out like .5 cm of one side from the middle making it look horrible and asymmetric. When I asked her about it, she thought they looked good and the reason she took more on the sideways because I had thicker hair ( whatever that means). I ended up paying anyway (not that they offered otherwise).

I have only been for gel manicure- one of the cheapest in the area but quality. No complaints for Tiffany

Horrible experience. The lady doing my pedicure was very rough, she was literally digging into my skin and even made me bleed. It hurt so much I had to keep pulling my foot away, and my leg started to get numb. It seemed she did not know what she was doing. Most painful pedicure Ive ever had.. I do not recommend this place at all. I only came here because Divine Nail Spa in Arlington was extremley busy.

The man owner I believe is very rude will stand over you and make you very uncomfortable he tells the nail techs what not to do when its what you wanted very rude and so is his daughter the one who play like a receptionist I love Lina she does a great job on my pedicures thats the only nice feeling I left here with today

Minus one star for the older salon. Minus another star because two of my nails uncharacteristically broke due to too much paint/product on them!I typically drive 45 minutes to Ashburns Serenity Nails for consistently great personalized mani/pedis. But Ive accepted that I must find someplace closer!Thanks to the prior reviews I had great confidence in this salon.I really liked the fact that they hold appointments at a top priority. I like that they seemed genuinely concerned about my happiness with my nails. I also liked the easiness of parking. Plan to arrive 5 minutes early to allow time to find free street parking or walk from the parking spot you find! Its the Del Ray neighborhood so its never a bad or boring walk, but the storefront street parking is limited.I did not like the selection of gel colors, good for standard manis but when youre looking for the newest or latest trend Im not sure theyd have it. I also did not like the general state of the salon. While it was not out and out dirty it didnt look sparkling clean either. The salon pedicure chairs look to be about 5-6 years old. The sink is one from a 2000s house bathroom. I did not use the bathroom here yet.The man that answers the phones/manages the salon took me 15 minutes early for my 6:30 Monday evening gel manicure ($30.00). He handed me three palettes of gel nail colors (no new 2015 summer colors from what I saw). I prefer to look at the bottles so he directed me to the back of the salon. He filed my nails at one of the 10 mani stations until he wrapped them in foil. He was very nice even while managing the 10 or so pedicure chairs and 5 techs.After 10 min of sitting with the nail color removing foil solution My (the technician) came to take care of me. I highly recommend her for gel manicures. I like thin, natural looking nails and she took extra care to meet my needs. She does have a 2 bottom stroke then one complete stoke technique that could build up the polish quickly towards the bottom but she quickly changed tactics after I pointed out the thickness of the first nails bottom half. Another thing My likes to do is add two base layers, three color coats, and two top coat layers...two of my nails broke (this is highly irregular for me) 5 days after my manicure. I think all the layers of polish really dried out my nails and made them brittle, unhealthy, and even weak :/!I will go back to her but I will be adamant about one base coat, two color coats, and one top coat next time.

The owner did my nails and she can be very impatient and rough with the filing! Several times, she cut my cuticles with the emery board. Also, vicious when trying to remove an in-grown toenail!

This is terrible place to get your nails son on one of my nails they didn’t put a topcoat and didn’t the rhinestone design fell off after 20 mins from leaving and that is that I did gel
