I always get a pedi here with Lynn she is the only person that does my eyes brows and pedi always sweet as well as Kim she did an awesome job with my mani and sns. They are both good nail tech. Highly recommend this place.

Im sitting here incredibly disappointed. Based on the reviews and pricing, I expected luxury service. I had an appointment, arrived on time, and a young lady began buffing away to prepare my acrylic fill-in. Then she says to hold on a minute and leaves to do another ladies pedicure that walked in after me. 20 min later another woman comes and I figure okay, she was just prepping for her, but nope, that woman also walks away to another client after filing and cutting down my nails. Now Im sitting here waiting again. Shame because I am religious about my nail upkeep and typically spend at least $150-$200 a month on maintenance. I moved recently and my nail shop is over 40 min away so I was looking for a new place closer to home. After this experience, Id rather make that 40 min drive twice a month than ever come back here.Update: The third tech finally completed my fill-in. I expressed my dissatisfaction before she started. I asked if appointments are fruitless since no one gets assigned to you and she just told me she had no idea how appointments work, but she would finish my nails. At that point I was ready to leave but I went ahead and let her finish. It took over 90 min for a fill-in and cost me $50 w/out tip. The acrylic is also not the nicer pink kind. Its the cheaper pasty white toned kind. You need pink polish for French nails with that kind. Sorry, but definitely not worth the high end price.

I had been to the salon when they first opened but my first experience was not that great. But I decided to give them a second chance and I visited the salon last Friday, my experience was amazing. I had a full set acrylic, gel pedicure and lash extensions done. They have definitely improved since they first opened and their prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is super relaxing and calming I highly recommend visiting but please make an appointment. They do accept walk ins but I feel that my experience with a scheduled appointment was way better then my experience when I walked in.

I absolutely love this place! Michelle does such a wonderful job at designing and focusing on the shape of my acrylics. Although it is often busy they’re staff is so accommodating. I highly recommend this place!

I’m leaving last minute on a quick vacation and I was so devastated that I broke one of my nails, I came in between my break at work to get it fixed. I waited for a bit because it’s only certain people that know how to do acrylic which is understandable, I had no problem with that. BUT the customer service, the professionalism is unmatched here!!! Nyguh (I hope I spelled it correctly) (the current pregnant female) fixed my mail and charged me NOTHING!!!! AMAZING!!! AND SHE DOES AN AMAZING JOB ON SHAPE!!! Made an appointment online which was great since I didnt have to wait. However, my nail tech (older) was super slow and it was the worst manicure ever. Seems like the reserve all the yonger techs for people who want full sets or designs. Would not return.

Extremely unprofessional. The nail tech( the middleage lady in the black dress, blue nail polish) cut me just on purpose because I asked her to reshape what she have done to my nails for the first time(they actually charge you for the shape). She were rude and aggressive. Disgusting place. Don’t use this salon service if you don’t want to be hurt on purpose

I did a gel set mani and pedi then went on Vacation next day I realized it my gel manicure was stripping when I went back I explained what happened to my nails even though the time has pass and the accommodated me with no hard feelings but either there polishes are old because my nails a re back

My daughter called this nail salon and made an appointment for me the following day with her nail technician named Mindy I come to my appointment and I am greeted by a woman who I later turned out to be Mindy. I told her I had a 430 appointment with Mindy she said my name and that was it and I went and sat down and waited because this was my first time going to her so I didnt know who she was. After waiting about 10 minutes the same woman finally comes over and tells me that she tried to call me and let me know that she couldnt do my nails today because she was behind on her appointments. She asked me if this was my first time because she never saw me before and she goes by Michelle and not Mindy and so she was surprised when I said her name as Mindy. Keep in mind my daughter just went to her three weeks prior to get her nails done so how she changed her name from Mindy to Michelle in three weeks is beyond me. She tells me she cant do my nails and said somebody else could do my nails for me and I said no because I came there specifically for her and her work. She said oh OK and went Back and sat down and proceeded to finish the customer she was working on. I went over and let her know that both me and my husband had appointments this evening come to find out they had put his name down for the following evening. I am on my way to Jamaica tomorrow and it was very disappointing that this woman was not willing (she was definitely able) to honor my appointment. I do not believe she tried to call me either. She also told me that she doesnt do gel nails anyway and only does acrylic. I feel like that was a bunch of bull. Im leaving this review here and Im also going to leave a review on Google and then my plan is to call the owner tomorrow. Customer service is the worst.

I have gotten 3 acrylic fills with regular polish ($25) at this salon and they have done a wonderful job every time. The salon is clean and nicely decorated to provide a relaxing atmosphere. They are quick but dont rush, and I have never had to wait. They offer you a beverage with your manicure, I always get the champagne. The OPI top coat that they use on my regular polish usually starts to flake after a couple days so I just apply a couple extra layers of Seche Vite top coat myself when I get home and that keeps my manicure looking fresh for weeks. The photo here was taken 1.5 weeks after I got the fill.

It has been a long time since I came back to Pure Nails & Spa. I usually came there for a mani and pedi. I also, usually get my lashes done for $40.Today was different, and I am glad it was different :). After my usual mani and pedi, the owner recommended I try getting a set eyelash extensions. There was a promotion so Ive decided to try it. To my surprise, it turned out beautiful and I love it.Lynn was my lash artist, and I immediately ask for her name so I can book for her for my fill :). She was very detail and clean. She made sure my lashes was perfectly clean, and I felt she took her time applying the lashes. My lashes came out beautiful and look very natural. Lynn also made sure I note down all the after care instructions so that my lashes can stay on longer. I was very impress with her attention to detail and great customer service.Go to Lynn if you want your lashes done.

Honestly don’t waste your time so unprofessional they do not value an appointment I’ve given them two chances and still very rude and make you wait a long time. Not going back!

I felt very uneasy here. This was my first time coming to this place and I had just moved to the area. I went to get my eyebrows done and the lady asked if I did my eyebrows at home and I said no. She said they’re very uneven while she was plucking them and after that, I felt super self conscious and bad about myself. Unpleasant experience. :(

Staff does not wipe down chairs or tables in between customers, had to remind the nail tech doing my nails to wash her hands after doing a pedi on her previous customer.

My appointment was for 6:30. I arrived 10mins earlier and informed them, was told to wait, waited 30mins and asked if it would take longer, was told it would be another 10mins. I waited 1hour and saw them accepting other clients without appointments. The tech that was supposed to do my nails, left me sitting in my chair for 20mins.

This is the second time Ive been injured at this salon. There wont be a third. The technician literally ripped my skin off during my pedicure. Im unable to walk or have even the sheets touch my foot without excruciating pain. 🥺

So I went there for a acrylic set and I paid $42 and when a I was getting my nails the technician was talking on the phone, the nails were not what I asked for and they were so thick they looked bad. She didn’t cut my nails before she put the acrylic so my nails are so close to the acrylic and they would normally stay in for a month but because of this it would be in for a week. And lastly I had an appointment at 2:30 but when a got there on time I waited for 50 minutes

Overall great service. I’m very particular about my ombré finish and they do such a great a job. Kim and Mindy are really good - very good at asking questions to ensure I’m getting what I want throughout the process.

So I went in for a repair since I had got my nails done here 3 days prior it paid 50 for a fill an tipped the lady $20 . But none the less....Instead of doing a repair the tech buffed it , put glue an sent me on my way, I was like wow... never again!

***I was last month and went to and Salon for a gel manicure. It was the best gel manicure Ive ever gotten. Seriously. It lasted for over 3 weeks with no chipping at all. the business owner and the only manicurist in the shop and shes awesome. Shes very welcoming and really takes her time in shaping your nails and making sure the polish is smooth.She also guarantees the gel manicure for 2 weeks, meaning if it chips within 2 weeks you can come back and she will fix it for free. Her prices are reasonable also.***

Love this place! This was my third time there for a gel manicure. They are so fast and so friendly! I had appointments the first two times and just walked in today. They were super busy (New Years Eve) but I only waited long enough to pick out my polish color. The staff is always courteous and professional. The salon is brightly lit, beautifully decorated, and so, so clean!! Ill return again and again!! :)

I called them at 5:30 hoping theyd be able to fit me in, knowing they closed at 8. They were able to! I got a pedicure and a gel refill with a simple design. All I can say is, this is the best service Ive had in a while. My nail tech was very gentle and detail oriented. They didnt use any drills, just a nail filer. I showed the girl a picture of the color I wanted for my nails and so she mixed the color until it was just right. This amazed me as they didnt tell me to pick a color cause they didnt have the color I wanted as other nail salons do. The bill was surprisingly cheaper than I thought itd be. Both women did an excellent job. Their customer service goes above and beyond. Ive found my go-to nail salon!

I took my sister here to get acrylic nails, as well as removal of her previous acrylics. Shes delighted with the results. The nail technician did her cuticles and listened to what she wanted in terms of length (she plays the viola and needs the nails on one hand shorter than the other), and nail shape. The place isnt fancy, but its very clean and they do a very good job.

I’ve been coming to this place for a few months now. Their prices are not over the top and they do have great service. I always have a good conversation with the staff and all the nail techs will do their best to make sure you are happy. I enjoy coming here and hope to keep coming here.

I came in to get a pedicure and they accept me right away no need to wait. The nail salon is what I expected. The environment was quite, relax, and comfortable. I was able to relax and get my work done while getting my pedicure. It was clean and attentive staff. It was a guy who did my pedicure and his massage techniques were great. Definitely recommend my friend to come here.

This was my first time coming here and its closer than my normal go to. I love little hole in the wall spots because most of the time their better than others and this places is one of them. My experience overall was great the wait wasnt that bad for a Friday.

Jimmy is absolutely AWFUL and a LIAR! The salon and other employees seem decent. However, I had a terrible experience there. - I went to this salon for the first time on Wed, 8/26 to get a gel manicure. To my surprise, Jimmy the liar, neither use a base coat nor a top coat. Of course, I inquire about this difference in practice. He explained to me that this nail polish brand is special and comes with both a top and base coat. Since I was unfamiliar with the brand being used, I let it go.On Thursday, the very next day a nail chipped. I called and the person whom answered was nice and asked me to come in to fix it. This very nice young lady fixed the chipped nail by removing the gel and re-applying the gel nail polish. Voila, the truth was reveal! Without prompting, she applied a base coat, colored gel, and top coat. Yep, Jimmy is a despicable, bold faced liar.

I love this place so much. I go every two weeks. They are amazing. Way more relaxing that other salons in Alexandria. Prices are fair and I have never had a bad experience. My go to nail salon! You wont regret coming here.

Absolutely adore this place. I am VERY critical of where I get my nails done based off of many botched jobs. Winnie ( I believe that is her name?) gave me the BEST pedicure I have ever received to date. She was very thorough and gentle with my feet, and gave me a fantastic foot massage after noticing I am on my feet all day for work. The prices are a little higher than normal, but you definitely get your moneys worth here. I will be returning for sure.

I went in to this salon for my first manicure after months of quarantine. The nail technician took a DRILL to my bare nails, creating cuts and dents into my nails. I went back into the salon in hopes of a refund or a free fix to resolve this issue... three employees came up and screamed and attacked me in the middle of the salon to the point where i ran out crying. This is an awful facility and the way they treat their customers is unacceptable. I told them i simply wanted a refund or for them to fix my nails for free and they began to SCREAM in my face and attack me and call me crazy while speaking about me to each other in front of my face. Do not go to this salon.

I absolutely love PURE NAILS & SPA. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and take time to ensure that your nails look amazing when done. They have an extensive selection of nail colors as well as the most recent OPI collections which is a plus. My nails always look great. The salon is clean and does smell like nail chemicals. The environment is peaceful and all of the techs seem to do a great job! Their no-chip is the way to go!

I went to this place a while ago and Sarah did dip powder on my nails. It came out beautifully and lasts forever whenever she does them. I highly recommend Sarah if you come to this nail salon.

For a new business this is just fine. Trish is really sweet and Leane is really good at shaping your nails. My sister and i both got pedicure and refills. There’s no real sense of urgency but maybe it’s due to only being 4 techs. Very clean and beautiful space. A little overpriced, I certainly missed my regular salon but they do try to accommodate you. I went here today for the 1st time and I was pleasantly surprised with the colors and the no-chip mani. Ive been to places which were double and worst quality. If you want a good no-chip shellac mani w/ out frills, this is the place. There is a 2-3 min hand/arm massage which is always points in my book - A+
