I had been a long time customer of another salon, where I unfortunately had irreparable issues. I was in need of a fresh start, in a healthy way. I searched and found this salon very close to my home, with excellent reviews. I knew what to expect but my experience far exceeded my expectations! The salon is not only a clean and pleasant atmosphere, everyone I encountered from start to finish was courteous and professional. My tech, Yuke, was very caring and patient. She had lots to repair from my previous experience but she was always kind and concerned about my experience. She was a joy to receive services from. The owner checked in throughout, offered great recommendations and was wonderful! I love my nails!! Thank you Skyline Salon for a relaxing mani/pedi and dip powder experience! Customer service has been amazing (this is my 3rd visit)!! I am very particular about my nails and decided to try powder this time. Tina (my nail tech today) was meticulous with my nails from removal of prior powder to shaping and filing). No runoff or hard stuff on the side of my fingers. My nails are perfect!! Will definitely be back for my refill!!!

First time going to Skyline Salon Hair, Nails, Facial, Wax....I called to make an appointment (COVID-19). I was greeted at the door with a temp check and hand wash (THANK YOU!). The salon was very clean and the staff (Thai and Lilly) were so professional. I will def be going back in a regular basis.

Ive been coming to this salon since 2004. I recently visited after a 5 month hiatus and was admittedly hesitant. Theyve made every effort to ensure the safety of everyone (patrons and staff). Youre required to make an appointment so the shop isnt crowded, theyve installed plastic shields at each station, implemented touchless payment, etc. I was able to fully enjoy my services because I felt safe. Will always recommend.

I love coming here! It’s a hidden away in a little business park, but it’s easily accessible from Rt. 7. The salon is clean and tidy. All the nail techs are great, they all do an amazing job. My gel nails usually last 3 weeks, and I use/wash my hands a lot. I’ve also had my eyebrows waxed here and they do a good job with that as well. I highly recommend this place.

I love everything about Skyline Salon. I came in with badly broken nails. Over time, Thai (owner) has patiently renewed my nails. I also come to her for my hair cuts, eyebrow waxing, and facials. This was my first time coming to this salon and it definitely will not be my last. I got a pedicure and a fill with gel manicure. My nail technician was Tran and shes fabulous!!! The pedicure was amazingly relaxing and my manicure was flawless! I will be coming back every 3 weeks religiously. The salon itself was cozy and quiet with very soft music in the background. The other technicians were very sweet and made me feel comfortable. Best me time experience ever! I recommend everyone come here for their nail care needs. The best part for me was that I called to make an appointment and they saw me as soon as it was time for the time we set. 6 oclock on the nose. This place is everything you need. Just come and see for yourself.

I have been a customer of Skyline Salon since Thai opened it in 2014. She and her staff are committed to customer service and customer experience. Thai has high expectations of her employees and continually mentors them to deliver exceptional customer experience. Over the years many of her personnel have provided me services and I always left happy with the results. Don’t confuse the place in the mall by Dairy Queen with Thai’s Skyline Salon which is right across Route 7 across from the Glass tower.

I definitely recommend this place to get your nails done. The staff there are so nice and professional. The place was clean. I had my nails done at another place before coming here and they fixed the mess that the previous place did. I am a happy customer.

Clean, pleasant atmosphere and nice technitions. Thai the owner is a lovely person. I came to this salon after another in the block cancelled me for the third time once I arrived at their door. Skyline Salon was not only accommodating (they welcomed me in five minutes after I desperately called), but they went above and beyond. The salon took great care to enhance their safety standards for COVID, the lady at the check-in desk was friendly and efficient, Yuki was so gracious and did a phenomenal job on both my mani and pedi. The girl I had spoke zero English, didn’t listen when I asked multiple times for SNS tips (so I didn’t even get what I wanted) and left cuts on 3 of my fingers. I should have gotten my manicure for free but alas I paid full price.Worst nail salon experience- I won’t be returning. Make sure your technician is someone who can communicate with you.

It is very quiet. Very very quiet. Relaxing. I just get regular polish. Its nice to let someone else clean up my cuticles from time to time. Reasonable prices.

Wonderful, meticulous staff. Even the basic mani/pedi gets you a quick massage. They implemented a system where returning customers get their own set of tools, which I appreciate, but the entire salon is clean regardless. They offer beverages while youre getting your service. Ive been going there for over a year and have yet to have anything but a relaxing experience no matter who Ive had an appointment with.

Called ahead of time to confirm they were open and available. Once I arrived I was turned away at the door for not making an appointment. I explained that I had called earlier and was told to come in and still was not permitted access. HORRIBLE customer service and a true display of their lack of professionalism.

After several bad haircuts she was able to fix my layered cut into something cleaner. Im very happy with my haircut.

The best nail Solon I have been too. I like the exterior and interior. The only place so far without the smell of chemicals and for the same price as places that stink. Finally, you don’t have to look for a translator to communicate your needs. Very good job.

Having moved to the Shirlington area a little over a year ago, I have tried several nail salons in an attempt to find a home. What I have found is higher prices for a mediocre job (uneven shape of nail, uneven applied gel or arcrylic). Im not even a picky person! I then saw reviews for Skyline Salon and decided to give them a try. From the outside, the building is older and may make one skeptical- but hands down by far this has been my best experience in the are. Attention to detail, cleanliness, and all around friendliness of the staff and other patrons. I now understand why many so people have been coming there for years. Skyline Salon is a jewel.

I should have kept scrolling or went to YELP to read ALL the reviews on this place.Came in for a SNS full set and a regular pedicure after taking final exams. Pedicure was okay (took a hour and a half for a basic pedi, but okay). Then all of sudden the manager comes to the lady doing my feet and speaks to the lady in their language and then all of sudden she switched with another lady (Im assuming she had another client??) not sure but that is pretty rude, she was literally at the last part (painting my toes before she randomly got up and switched).So, now the new girl steps in......started painting my toes a COMPLETELY different color instead of asking me if that was the color she was painting my toes. I had to stop her. She apologized. Wipe off the paint. Proceeded to paint my toes...after she was completed there was paint ALL around my toes. Im thinking she is going to clean up the slop...UM NO! Until I told her....uhhh can you clean up the polish around my toes...WTH! I shouldve just stopped and paid for the pedicure and left. But Im thinking maybe she is at least a decent nail artist. NEGATIVE! Didnt do my cuticles, shape my nails, NOTHING...THEN (remind you Im getting SNS) this is a service I always get so I know that the Gel UV light thing is not part of the process of it but she used it...SMH just a HOT MESS all around the board. Lets just say NEVER AGAIN! I regret ever finding this place!

I had an appt for a facial at 10am on a Saturday morning. Someone only approve to finally open the salon at 10:20am. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Last Monday 1/13/2020 I had a fantastic fill and spa pedi from Yuke. Great job!——————————————This is the best Salon ever! My niece and I got gel mani pedis and live them. We both got cat eye designs and they look good. Tran and Holly did a fabulous job and give great massages. I’ll be back.

I received an SNS manicure and pedicure here nine days ago. The nail technician indicated that the manicure should last for 3-4 weeks. Though the salon itself seemed clean and the nail technician was okay, Im overall disappointed with the experience and product. I am not a nail salon veteran, but in my previous experiences I have never had a technician cause me to bleed so many times or clip my cuticles so short they hurt for a couple of days. To add insult to injury, the pedicure began chipping on day two and my first nail chipped on day three. Now nine days later, three nails have chipped and several are peeling off. Though this salon is more convenient than the one I have previously gone to in Arlington, I will not be returning to Skyline Salon and I strongly warn others against going.

The salon was gorgeous, they really pamper their customers, and my nail stylist was thorough and friendly. Def will return.

I had the worst experience at this place... First when I came in the receptionist was very rude!Then, the nails technician who was doing my nails, was OK at fist untill she started to be very rough. At one point she twisted my finger so hard as if she has some anger issues. I really felt that she did it deliberately, from the angry look she had in her eyes!!All and all, it was a very wired experience...
