Absolutely love this nail salon!! All of the technicians are extremely patient and understanding they genuinely want to give you a wonderful experience. I absolutely love the way they take their time and are very attention to detail. The manager I believe makes everyone takes pictures of their work to ensure accountability. They are a little pricey 💰💰💰, But you know the saying: “you pay for what you get”. Despite the fact that it is pricey I still enjoy my experience and I always walk away happy. And let’s just be honest my nails and my pedicure always look gorgeous even after 3 weeks. One of the other things that. I truly appreciate is that they always call and text you the day before to make sure you. Know you have an appointment just in case you forgot,just like the doctors office amazing!! I love it !! I am always happy 😊!!

They are awesome in here and did a really good job on my hands and feet. A wide variety of options on their menu, very nice staff and have good music going too.Lina did my nails (dip powder manicure on my natural nails) in ombre and was really good at it. She gave me the choice between overlay or adding tips for two nails that were copied at an angle. I chose overlay and they came out really good. $62Quinn did my feet in a basic pedicure and i was done in about 30 minutes. Trimmed my cuticles, cleaned up my feet, massaged my legs, hot towel, and polish. $35Overall, Im really happy with my visits and will return again.

A lady I met at Target recommended me this place and she gave me the business card of this place. She was a such angel for recommending me this place, because Mimi did a wonderful job on my nails with the design I exactly wanted! Out of all the places I went to, this is the best and I noticed clients who got their nails done seemed satisfied. I will definitely come back here and I highly recommend! Only downside, it was hot in the salon because of the weather.

I’ve been going to sunshine nails for 2 years now. I moved here from Miami & was so particular about what nail salon to choose. They NEVER disappoint. They are expensive but it’s worth the money. You definitely get what you pay for. I definitely recommend. I’ve had my nails done by Kathy, Lily, John & Cristina. THEY ALL ARE SOOOO BOMB!They do almost EVERY design you want & always are willing to accommodate no matter what. They book fast so book when you can. If you want to get a pedicure go see Ms. Sue. She’s the sweetest & is great at what she does. SUNSHINE NAILS IS THE BEST! Thanks for the great customer service & providing great nails. 2 years down with you guys many more to go.

Today was my second time coming here and both times Ive had some problems. The first time my nail tech was late, and I ended up having to see another. I actually liked her though, but I had to wait an hour. And today my appointment wasnt in their system, so again I saw someone I didnt book. My nails also didnt turn out to great today. The nail designs are beautiful, but the process to get your nails done is tedious and stressful.

I wasn’t impressed with my pedicure at all especially for the price I paid. I was so excited to try this place due to the reviews and pics. Maybe I’ll try their nail service because they’re pedicures are not it. I guess I will keep going to MD. They are very clean though, I will give them that.

Beautiful set done by Mindy! My original tech had a family emergency and they texted me and scheduled me instead with Mindy. I got an acrylic fill and pedicure. Covid measures are in place, you cant come in without an appointment and literally everything is wiped down when someone moves. I love it!

My favorite nail salon! It took me over 10 years to find a salon that is consistent. All of the techs are great however I prefer Mindy. They do not add on surcharges to cut your cuticles or remove gel polish. It’s one flat rate. They are a tad bit pricey but it’s worth it hands down. I took one star off due to their appointment scheduling, which can improve. If I schedule my services at 2pm then we are supposed to start at that time, not 2:30 AND if I schedule multiple services, I’m waiting long after completing the first service before starting the next. I had to walk out without completing my services due to the wait time.

I always use to go here, but recently I had a bad experience with this place.I called 5 times to make sure if I can come back without having to pay, to change the color of my nails. The receptionist spoke to the manager and said yes you can come back to see the same technician whom did it because it’s only been 3 days. So they booked me an appointment and I drive 40 mins to the salon only to find out they will do it if I pay again. Keep in mind I had already paid over $90 JUST to get my nails done no pedicure.Very disappointing in this salon ESPECIALLY that I always come to them! Save yourself and go somewhere that isn’t money hungry.

Love my nails but can be a bit pricey

Listen, I used to love this salon, I’ve been going there for about 4 years now but lately my experience is awful every time I try to give them another chance. For example, they had me sitting in the salon for over an hour soaking my hands in acetone because they double booked my appointment time. This salon is constantly posting on their instagram about being considerate of their time and canceling in advance if you cant make it but DID NOT respect my time and left me sitting there unattended for over an hour…this was before the vaccination (not safe!!). If they had let me know when I walked in I couldve rescheduled or waited more safely in my car. The next appointment I had my tech was ready for me when I walked in but I was told by the front desk that my appointment time did not allow for tips or a design….(which is what I always get!) only a simple sns manicure. I was fuming but my tech did a nice job as she always does. Truly, I wish my tech would leave this salon, because i’d follow her to a new place. These issues have nothing to do with her or her talent and everything to do with management. My last straw came today when I called to reschedule my appointment for this coming Friday (because I respect other peoples time) and I was put on hold. The picture is of the time I was put on hold - 10 minutes without speaking to anyone!!!! It was clear my call had been forgotten or was not important to the front desk so I finally hung up after 10 minutes of silence. Even if someone had jumped back on for half a second and said “hey I haven’t forgotten you I’m just trying to handle something - thanks for holding” I would’ve happily waited longer. The customer service has just dropped so low at this point its beyond disappointing because there is no doubt the techs are talented, but its to the point where its no longer worth the battle. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a “treat yourself” moment not another stressor.

So I went to get a full set and pedicure, and the guy that did my full set his name is David a tall guy with long hair and glasses. He was in a rush to do my nails he left my thumbs uneven and all the nails chunky I ask him kindly that my nails were thick and he did not care or maybe did not understand. I feel very disappointed went I got home to see how bad my nails looked. My daughter encourage me to go and complaint but I’m not the type of person that will go and argue. I have never been so disappointed like this before, I have been in other salon and they do a better job than here. One thing I have seen is that sunshine nails is really good with trendy designs and all fancy nails, but they don’t take the Time to see if a client is please with the service. So sad

Can I just say this is the best full set acrylic nails I have ever had!! Lynn did my coffin shaped nails and The shape and attention to detail is spot on! I will definitely be coming back! Oh and the lady that booked my appointment and checked me in was so nice and professional! The place is well sanitized and the skill set going on in this shop is unmeasurable!

Called and spoke with receptionist who told me I could come by for a gift certificate for a gift. Drove 30 minutes to the shop only to be told they dont do gift certificates anymore???? Unbelievable. Staff should be informed of business changes. Now Ive wasted an hour of my day to only walk away empty handed.

This place was recommended to me by a friend in school. She always had the best nails. This salon is my favorite now. Their manicure and pedicure are the best.

Went in today for the first time and I love my nails ! Hannah did them . I had a reverse ombré full set . It was $57 . This salon is very nice and the staff was really friendly. It’s so hard to find a good nail tech that specializes in doing long nail full sets. They also do lashes which is great ! Will come back again !

I left a salon in Waldorf and started coming here. Everyone is always nice. l aways love my nails! From conservative to creative to bling..whatever you want, they can do. They can also duplicate a design from a picture you bring in. These ladies/gents know some nails. Call and make an appointment ahead of time, because if not, you will have a loooong wait and the seating area is minimal. They stay busy.

Love getting my nails done here, as they do an amazing job. But don’t expect to start getting what you need to be done on time because on several occasions to me and my friend. Arriving at the salon with an appointment we have had to wait over an hour after the set time for appointments while our nail tech to get to us. However, while finally, my nail tech was able to start on my nails she was then told she was booked for eyebrows. She then went to attend to get the other ladys eyebrows done then back to me finally to get my nails started. While for my friends appointment waiting an hour she got a rushed job. If I knew this was all going to be happening before going to the salon, I would find another place that respects when appointment times and checks in with the customer when knowing there is an issue rather than trying to get them to get a pedicure or another service in order to spend more money.  Space is small and is always crowded, they dont socially distance.As well never contacted me back about issues of my visit or reached out .

4 stars for nails, keeping appointments and on time, 5 stars wasnt given due to the lashes services. If the techs are using the cluster lashes you can buy from any beauty store, they should charge cluster prices and NOT individual lash prices. I was given the cluster lashes instead of individuals and was charged $150!! Needless to say within 4 days more than half of the volume was gone, lashes falling off, and I waited 48 hours before washing. I received no care instructions, spoolies, etc. These should have been $65. Period. I realize I can go back but my time is short and I just need to go places where the lash service is 5.star worthy.

I booked an appointment through the website. Upon arrival for my 1pn appt I had to wait another 40 min before I was seated with my tech (tony). I set the appointment with him because the 2 I wanted were booked...I took a chance.. once I showed him what I had in mind he said ok and preceded to take of my gel polish...Im my appt booking I select the options of a full set and nail art.. once he took of the polish and nails from my previous tech he then informed me he doesnt do designs. I was immediately disappointed because I booked it with the available options for that tech. My nails are not at all uniform, is was cut by the drill (it happens) sometimes I get it. After doing back and forth on what i wanted i decided in order to eliminate being disappointed further i would get a simple stiletto and gel polish. I requested a bright yellow and asked that he does not use the white base he insisted on using..now I have the white polish showing as per the reason for not wanting it. All and all I will not use his services again...but the work if Kristina and Vicky is amazing..I will return for another try with them..

If I could choose zero stars I would. This was the worst nail shop experience I have ever had and Ive been getting my nails done since I was 15 years old, I am 32. I couldnt have left feeling more disrespected, over charged, and marginalized from start to finish.My first time appointment occurred today, 2/13/21 which I scheduled this past Monday 2/8/21. I scheduled a 2:45pm brow wax with Annie, 3:00pm pedicure with Annie, 4:15pm fill in with Lynn. Mind you, I drove almost an hour in the treacherous icy and rainy weather from downtown DC excited to get VDay nails for my date with my husband tomorrow. Little did I know I was in for the complete opposite. Due to the weather and it being my first time, I made sure I was on time. I arrived early at 2:30pm. Entering into a crowded front door area where I was half inside and half out the door. As I got to the desk, I kindly introduced myself and indicated the services I booked online. I was greeted by a crass front desk lady. I was met with disregard and told to check in on the ipad. I honestly shouldve left at that moment but given the commute etc I regretfully stuck it through.I sat down after checking in and waited to be serviced. At about 2:54pm Annie asked around the waiting area for who was getting their eyebrows done. The 2 young ladies next to me said no which obviously left me as the person. Honestly, whats the point of booking an appointment, to then sign in again in person with your name/services, if the staff are poorly customer service trained? It wouldve been nice to have been greeted by name and the appointment began on time. Anyways, Annie showed me to the eyebrow chair. She did a good job. About 10min later after my eyebrows she escorted me to the pedicure chair. It was the very last chair which was literally inches away from the sink where I saw everyone wash their hands almost bumping me because of the proximity, and staff flustering back and forth by the close employee room. That chair was an annoyance. Oh no Im not done, it gets better.Annie finishes my pedicure. She says, Im gonna check and see if Lynn is ready for you. Mind you, my pedicure was done early at 3:40pm, to where my fill in couldve AND shouldve started on time at 4:15pm. Annie came back and said, Lynn is gonna start your nails a little late. I said, Oh I can wait 20min. Annie said, Oh no its gonna be an hour wait. I said, Why?? My appt time is soon, thats not right. She said, The girl that came was late because of the weather. Like how does someone very late rank over someone on time?! I just shook my head and asked if someone else would do my nails. Annie said shes gonna ask around. Sidebar: Lynn purposely never looked my way because she knew she was 100% wrong.Annie said Tony was going to do my nails. I was pleasantly relieved...temporarily. Tony came over and said follow him. To my surprise and empathy, Tony suffers from the medical deficiency, lobster hand or cleft hand. Now it can easily be off-putting but because I am a healthcare Administrator, I am very empathetic and understanding. He bagan my nails and it was very rough! He nipped and cut me more times than a few. I assertively said to him, Youre hurting me. He said its not on purpose. Smh. No apology! He finished shaping my nails and I was displeased. The acrylic was applied too thick and the coffin nail shape was wide and not narrow like Im use to. I kindly asked him to refine my nails. Of course it was quick and rigid... He grabbed a few Vday color choices and came back and started laying the base coat. Displeased again. He asked what design I wanted and I asked if he could freestyle designs? He said no and hes gonna have someone else do my designs. Here I am once again being bounced around! 15min waiting and Lina came over. I went to her desk and I asked her to reshape my nails a little more. She did but not to complete satisfaction. The polish I had done was a glitter dark red. I asked Lina to add that color to my nail design.Continued in photo...

This was my first experience at Sunshine nails. I went in on a Friday morning and it was busy, but I had an appointment for an SNS set. Because this was my first time, I had asked for an appointment someone who was one of the best SNS techs. I was told I would have an appointment with Tony. When I got there, they had someone else, Cameron, start to take off my SNS set. After about 15 minutes someone came up to me and asked if I had requested Tony, and I told her that I had not because it was my first time and I just wanted someone who was really good at SNS. She told me I would be with Cameron. Cameron was very nice, and listened to what I wanted, however it took almost 2 hours to do my nails.--My appointment was at 10am I didnt leave there until about 12pm. I got designs on two of my nails, but they were definitely not intricate enough to take that long.--Also, I just got my nails done on Friday 6/29, today is Monday 7/2 and my nail designs are already starting to peel off.--After I left the salon, I realized that my nails were a little lumpy, the SNS was not very smooth.--Im not sure if she wasnt experienced enough, but for some reason there were clumps of SNS powder under my nails and I had to ask her to remove them. But by then they had hardened so it was really tough and she wasnt able to remove all of it.Cameron was super nice, and did a great job cleaning my cuticles, but after all the hype I heard about sunshine nails I was a little disappointed. Im not sure if Im going to go back yet because I still see the amazing pictures on Instagram. Maybe Ill request a more experienced tech again and this time make sure not to let them give me another person.

I had an appointment with Jenny and showed her prior the design I was looking to get that day. She said okay but when I showed her that the design did not match the pic she got an attitude. She did not want to remove the polish and kept saying it was the same as the picture. Finally she removed the polish and sloppy design then rushed to put a basic purple coat on them. My nails were clumpy from her not letting the nail polish dry in between coats. I don’t care if your frustrated if you didn’t know how to do the design you should’ve said that from the beginning it’s clear she did not know how to do basic gel either. I’m disgusted with sunshine nails it’s already expensive I expect my nails to at least be neat!

With COVID going on I was apprehensive to get my nails done. It’s my birthday weekend and my boyfriend wanted to go together. There is one person who is cleaning everything any time someone gets up from a chair or touches the iPad. She’s sanitizing everything and it makes me feels better knowing they are cleaning everything.The booking system online is super easy to use. I only had to wait 10 minutes to get my nails done as they were super busy. I showed John (I think that was his name) a picture of what I wanted and he did it exactly like the photo. I got a full set with foil ($70), his application was perfect. There was no excess acrylic under my nails or on my skin. I also got a spa pedicure. Even though they were busy Lexie took her time and did a great job. I highly recommend this nail salon.

What a complete waste of time. Called on a Tues for a Thur appointment but when I would not agree to their upped price all of a sudden they were booked for the remainder of the week.

I have been looking for a place to come back to and this salon is it! They are busy but have a lot of amazing staff! Everyone was so kind and took their time! Theres a lot of parking in the back even though there isnt much in the front. Anyone who wants their nails done right should go here!

Completely disappointed, had an appointment at 8:30 am for a set of XXL NAILS and were a disaster. When they called me to confirm appointment i mentioned what i wanted to get done and specify that i wanted to do XXL and the lady said to just let the “technician” know. I arrive to my appointment everything is going well untill they had to do 2 thumbs different lengths because the nails tips weren’t my nail size. After almost everything is complete and polish is being applied the nail tech LYNN tells me someone else is going to finish the polish and design because she has another client waiting. Thats when everything when upside down. I was waiting a good 15mins for someone to finish me up. I was pretty aggravated at this point. VICKY the owner starts apologizing about the situation and trying to give me to understand that the reason LYNN couldn’t finish me off was because of appointments, okay thats fine but just in general the nails were just off they were kinda flat, no apex, and lumpy. VICKY did OFFER for someone else to fix them but honestly being here since 8:30 and I couldn’t bare being here longer. I did give my feedback to VICKY the owner stating if LYNN didn’t have the experience to actually do XXL nails i would have been fine by just rebooking with something else. Just have communication with your customers and advice them what you can and cannot do for them before wasting there time and you own time.

Tony is great! He always pays attention to detail and always nails my many different requests for shapes and colors. Its hard to find the perfect fit for nails, hair (services) so when you do find that person, you better stick with them. 😉

I’m writing this review from the pedicure chair :I had cluster lashes applied with Roxy & a gel mani/pedi with David .This has by far been one of the most enjoyable salon experiences I’ve had in my life. The standard was set the day before with a polite phone call reminding me of my appointment.Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by the receptionist ( I didn’t catch her name ) and my daughter and I waited to be escorted to a lash suite by Roxy . The salon and suite were both smartly decorated as well as incredibly clean. My services were seamless . David really took his time and was thorough. I’m not much of a talker ( not that I won’t engage I just prefer to relax)when I’m getting a mani/ pedicure. It was refreshing that David took note of that and made the experience as relaxing as possible for me .Have I been to less expensive salons, yes but the cost has definitely been commensurate with experience.They offer knowledgeable techs, that are polite and professional, a clean environment with a stylish ambiance , and a variety of colors to choose from.Worth the visit

Have been coming to Sunshine for the past two months. The first time I went I got Helen (😘❤️) as my tech. Not only is she super talented she is SO INCREDIBLY SWEET and a great heart. When I come in I immediately feel welcomed and she does such a great job with designs and shape. I have never formed a bond w a tech before but I truly feel like I am visiting an old friend every time I come in. She did my Christmas set and everyone loved it. She is so detailed and so creative. Love love love Helen, I’m never going back to my old salon!

I didnt get the name of the woman who did my nails but she got a nice tip and I couldnt help but to hug her for her perfect work. I went to Sunshine nails for the first time ever with high expectations due to the reviews online but unfortunately the nail technician JoJo did a POOR job on my nails, I felt as though she was rushing through without much detail to the shape of my nail as well as how she laid the acrylic, filling, etc. Inwent with my mother and 2 sisters and theyre nails were perfectly shaped and they looked like time was taken on theirs.

Overall, the salon is great. I only trust Vicky or Jenny with my nails. Theyre incredibly friendly and definitely take their time to make sure youre happy with the service you receive. I HIGHLY recommend you make an appointment before coming in or youll be waiting for a very long time. Ive recommended this salon to frienda from all the way in MD and they make the drive here because theyre so great.

Was a walk in. John was my technician. He did an amazing job on my almond ombré full set. Parking is a bit of a mess but that was the only negative. I’ve been in the area for 2 years and this is the best find since a salon I found in Waldorf. Sunshine is much closer and priced better. So happy to discover. Will be back in 2 weeks for my fill !

Great place to get your nails done. I always have them done by Vickie. You can also get great pedis by the staff. They do great waxing as well. Ive always been treated with great customer service and the staff are always welcoming and friendly.

Best nail salon Ive ever been too. The technicians were SO Nice and were very effective.
