I visited for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied. I was seen right away, the space is very beautiful, well organized, and clean! I was helped by Nina and she is AMAZING, very gentle and has an amazing eye for detail. I got the SNS nails for the first time and I think I wont ever go back to Acrylics! My nails look so natural and healthy! Im in love!If anybody is on the fence about SNS, I SAY JUST DO IT, yes, its a little pricier, but I feel like its a good investment. Also if youre in the Alexandria area I would definitely recommend coming to Healthy Nails!

Lady doing my nails was rushing and didn’t trim or file nails evenly before starting like I had asked also bails had bumps all over my 1st and last time coming lady didn’t say thank u or good bye after I tipped her either. lady with red hair can’t remember the name but very terrible and was sending a texting while I stood waiting to pay.

Normally go here and have a great experience. Went to get a fill and said I wanted a square shape. They came out looking chunky and the middle finger is obviously crooked (pic with nail art) Went back the next day to get them fixed and explained how I felt and the first comment the tech said “well, that’s your fault you didn’t tell me you wanted sharp square.” What’s the difference? Aren’t squares sharp?! She had such an attitude and was not worried about making sure I was satisfied. I wish I could have taken back the tip I gave her the day before regardless of the fact I didn’t like them. She then kept asking “are you sure you like this, you can’t change your mind anymore” “are you sure you want the designs again” bc she didn’t want to do them again. Then I had to pay $20 for them to do a much simpler French tip. Only go here if you know a good nail tech.

This is my preferred nail salon. I visit this location regularly and the staff is kind and accommodating. I love that they use new prepackaged and sanitized pedicure tools.

Enjoyed my first visit to Healthy Nails Spa II and appreciative they could squeeze in my pedicure appointment on a holiday. Mindy was amazing with the pedicure, foot massage, helping me find the best gel color and making me laugh with her great convo. Will definitely return soon.

This is a large and well run salon. It is exceptionally clean and has an extensive array of polishes and services. It has a loyal clientele which speaks to how good a job they do.

Mindy is amazing!! Words cannot describe how professional and good she is at her job. She is helpful when choosing colors and makes sure you are happy with the color you decide. She takes her time and is detailed oriented. She also makes you feel comfortable and does a good job listening.

I had Laurie who took good care completing my dip on natural nails. She even let me make a last minute tweek with a nail colors and took her time making them gorgeous.

OK! This was my first time visiting this nail salon and I was a little hesitant because of some of the reviews (even though those reviews were outdated ). Well let me be the one to tell you that this salon is immaculate! The calming music complemented the peaceful atmosphere perfectly. The decor is absolutely beautiful and the place is super squeaky clean. The check in process is very simple and the receptionist was so kind and welcoming. Now let me tell you about miss Tracy!! I absolutely adore her. She was so accommodating and attentive to me. She noticed that I shivered (it was a bit chilly) so she offered me ginger tea! I was very impressed by how kind she was because I am accustomed to rude or detached technicians. She completely surpassed my expectation! She made great conversation with me and made me feel extra comfortable. As for her work, she is top-notch! I went in for a simple French full set with a design on the ring finger which she volunteered to freestyle and I totally trusted her. She did an incredible job with wonderful attention to detail. This is easily the best manicure I’ve ever gotten. I didn’t have to ask her to tweak or adjust anything which I normally do at other salons. She was simply perfect! I have definitely found my new nail home & although this is my first experience there, I will be requesting Tracy every time! She is such a treasure. You certainly get what you pay for. Five stars, would absolutely recommend!! As for miss Tracy, tens across the board!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤

I’ve been going to this place for a few years now. The services over the past year have gotten more and more inconsistent. The people are nice, but the quality & skill set definitely is lacking of late. I usually do not gel manicures, however whenever I go for a manicure & want any type of design other than the standard French they try to force me to get gel. This last time was the last straw for me. When the tech pushed me to do gel sos that she could do my design. Then still was unable to do it properly. Then charged more than normal for the design after I agreed to the gel, and finally it all peeled off in less than a week. So I pretty much wasted $60. Then when I went in to have them fix it, the manager Mr. Tran tried to stated that they could only fix it & do the same thing again. I told him that I’d rather not b/c it’s not the 1st time this has happened & so I assumed it was the brand of gel they use. I asked if they could just do a different service instead and he refused. I go bi-weekly for pedicures, waxes, and a manicure so I felt that his refusal was completely ridiculous. I will no longer be spending my money there.

I had an amazing mani/pedi experience at this salon! It’s been years since I have left a nail salon 100% happy with my results/service, and Healthy Nail Spa II sure did deliver! My nail tech was Lauri, who was excellent. She took her time and had great technique. I’ll definitely be back again for all my nail needs.

I have been going to MIKI for over a year. Last week, she was rude and unprofessional towards me when I asked for second coat of clear gel on my nails as the one coat that she applied didnt give my nails a shiny clean finished look. When I asked for the second coat, she stated to me maybe you should find someone else to do your nails if you arent happy I was a little surprised that she made that statement after paying over 100.00 dollars faithfully every two weeks like clock work. I replied to her how unprofessional the statement was and that it would not be a problem finding another technician. More importantly, if you have an issue with me asking for a second coat of gel to complete a professional look on my nail, you arent the technician for me. The owner is rude and MIKI appeared to be a decent person, but her true colors showed who she exactly is as an individual. I also have referred several people to her and now the shop has lost our business. Not that they care because rude is what they are to some customers.

Miki Wong is a tremendous asset to Health Nail Spa. She’s extremely talented and a skilled technician. I’ve use her services for SNS; Gel Nail; Brow Tint/Waxing; Foiled Nails; Spa Pedicure; etc. Miki is phenomenal! You’ll NEVER be disappointed. Facility is clean; sanitize, modern, and follow COVID protocol.

Worst service ever!!! I came in when they opened at 9:30 and was the first patron to come in They asked me what services I wanted and so I showed the manager my nail design they told me they could do. They asked me to have a seat and about 5-10 min later a crowd of people came in some scheduled appointments some walk-in. 20 min later I’m being handed a card and being asked to go to another location by the managers receptionist. I asked why I had to leave when I was there first they lied and said everyone had an appointment but I knew he was lying and told him that. He they lied again and said no one can do the full set for me so I asked why couldn’t I get my pedi first till someone comes available then. They reluctantly sent me to the back. Then claimed they couldn’t find the polish number I asked for and the wrapped my toes and walked away. Mind you I see my nail tech working on someone else’s feet while I’m just sitting here 30 min after arriving and nothing being done yet. Meanwhile one of the walkins was almost finished her pedicure. I get upset they try to lie again saying everyone had an appointment and at that point I left. Never again.

However disappointed in my last service. Not impressed with my nails. Already broken and chipping with SNS polish which normally last a month. Its on second week and horrible.

My sister and I are new to the NoVA area and were in search of a new nail salon and I think weve found it. My nail tech Emmy was fantastic and did the best coffin set Ive ever had. I appreciate how she paid close attention to the shape and took her time to make sure they were all symmetrical. She also was very gentle when filing my natural nail which I appreciate since the whole point of SNS is to keep your nails healthyUpdate: The set Emmy did lasted beautifully outside of me breaking a nail at the 2 week mark at work (my job is physically demanding). I just wish I had taken more pictures of her beautiful work (dont mind my cuticles, theyve always been terrible).I accidentally made a follow up appt at their other location near the Walmart and am less than thrilled with the set I received there. I tried to call and see if they would be willing to let Emmy try and fix the other techs work (Ruby). They told me I would have to pay full price for Emmy to redo the set and that I had to call the other location to see what they can do. Kind of bummed, but I understand. Just super nervous to go back to a nail tech that had to fix 2 nails 3 times before I even left the salon.

I have been going here for over a year and absolutely love it! Mindy takes care of me every time I go- she is so awesome. I book my appointment and show up- and Mindy is ready. The salon is super clean and everyone Is wearing a mask- definitely COVID friendly!

Unless you want to be lied to about prices and what designs they can actually do as well as have your nail lady be completely rude and then you go ahead and get s&s to have two nails completely break off less than a week later and your gel polish that they didnt even put the lights on for your pedicure has completely come off all your toenails and they want you to pay for the service theyre a complete rip off on professional and then after they tell me to pick all my colors and everything to get the nails replaced and do the pedicure then they tell me that they have no room for me and to come back tomorrow I tried to add photos but its not letting me dont waste your money here

The staff are perfectionist, they wont let you walk out with nails or brows that are 100%. Ive been going to Healthy Nails Spa II for a few years and havent had a negative experience. All the technicians are talented and produce high quality work. Thats saying something when the nails I get are SNS (dip). Theyre not easy to do, but all of them are well trained.On the topic of the facility, you will be questioning how long its been opened. Even before Covid they kept that place spotless! They clean religiously! I had no fear going in for an appointment, the place is probably cleaner than any other place you walk into today.

Im not going to lie. My pedicure was really good. Mindy gave a great massage. BUT. The technicians didnt know I was Vietnamese. I speak and understand it FLUENTLY. I KNOW when you say that my feet is nasty. Even if they are, thats rude! I still paid, gave a tip, but I let the owner know that it was unprofessional. Honestly, the owner was AWESOME. He was understanding and was really sweet. I loved his place, clean and super nice. But I wont come back. Dont call me back and said I misunderstood. Yall, they called me back and said that. That I didnt UNDERSTAND my own native language. I wasnt going to write a review but calling me back and saying you misunderstood me bit Im sorry is the worst apology. I want to come back because of the receptionist, owner and Angel (who did my sisters nails) but I will never come back.

I made an appointment at 4pm and called in advance to move my appointment to 430pm. I arrived on time and waited for 30 min to see the technician I made an appointment with (whats the point of making an appointment then?) . She became available at 5pm and the male front desk receptionist told her to do a manicure before me. When I inquired why he had her service another customer before me, he told me I needed to wait because I pushed my appointment back to 430! If there was an issue, then why agree to the 430pm appointment time? Its still an appointment. If she was booked then give the appropriate available time. When I challenged the male front desk receptionist he actually dismissed me by waving his hand as if he was done with the discussion. Suffice it to say I didnt stay to get my nails done nor will I ever go to this nail salon again. He was disrespectful and provided extremely poor customer service.

They are very spa-like. Organized, professional, and each time I’ve come, I’ve had great results. Everyone is friendly and efficient. They used sterilized tools, and individual files/pumice tools. They offer a beverage and neck/back massage with services. I’ve had basic pedicure with fresh orange massage 😁 and was a great value! They always have enough staff so the wait is never very long, even on a Saturday. I’m grateful to have found this place!

Hello ladiesPlease do not go get your eyebrows done here. The young lady was very nice but she doesn’t know what she is doing. I had to pay 12 dollars for nothing and the front desk receptionist “male” is rude. He told me I need to have cash or else the next time I will be charged more.There will be no next time. You are very rude. If a customer is unsatisfied you should fix it not ask for more money “next time”.

Honestly I should have written a review a LONG time ago, I’ve been coming here for close to 4 years. I’ve moved further away and still drive across town to come here because I LOVE this place so much. The salon itself has the best ambiance, the technicians are always so sweet. I have had Mindy and Lauri multiple times and they are both wonderful. Today I had Lauri and again was blown away by how detailed and meticulous she is-she wants her work to be perfect but she really wants the customer to be happy. She asked my opinion along the way and always made sure I was happy before moving on-and Mindy has done the same when I have had her in the past! Just incredibly high quality work every time.I think it’s important to note that I work in a clinical setting and am very well versed in COVID protocols. Today is the first time I have been back here since February and I was so pleasantly surprised with their changes around maintaining distance, sanitation process (seriously, someone was cleaning surfaces constantly the entire time I was here), and the use of plexi dividers. All of the technicians have been thru COVID trainings and have their certificates displayed in the salon.I cannot say THANK YOU enough. I felt safe and got the best nail service in Northern Virginia. Love you guys, keep it up!

Today I finally went! I’ve been considering coming here for weeks - it’s conveniently next to Planet Fitness and a short walk from home. By far the BEST nail salon I’ve been to. Everything is very clean, the staff is so so nice, and the pedicure chairs are very comfy. They have an excellent selection of nail polish (I prefer Color Club!) and if you can, get the Signature Spa NU Skin pedicure. Paraffin wax, many scrubs and hot stones are in it for you if you choose this one. My legs are always an ashy dry mess but they feel amazing now! Gotta go, my polish is almost dry! Thank you Healthy Nails Spa II :)

I love this nail spa! It’s really close to my house so it’s convenient for me. The personal is really dedicated and attentive and the spa it’s very clean and comfortable. They have a wide selection of nail polish and different kinds of manicure and pedicure to choose from. It’s the best spa I have gone to! Recommend it 100%!

I loved this spa! The environment is very clean, fresh, and relaxing. I had a pedicure with Anna; the massage was fantastic, and the color was very well done. I love that they are eliminating harmful chemicals from every process for the health of customers and staff! I have been coming here for about a year and everyone does such a wonderful, detailed job! Lauri is also great at eyebrow wax and tint services so I highly recommend her! The space is clean and modern with a relaxing atmosphere.

The salon is clean and has a welcoming spa atmosphere. Unfortunately the little girl at the reception desk with bad skin is RUDE! Very serious and dry doesnt even smile and the older male who is mainly there with her is equally RUDE! However I noticed that the girl laughed smiled and had plenty of conversation for her culture. It’s offensive as a paying customer to be mistreated but I find it a reflection of how the girl has not been taught nor trained therefore she knows no better. I think the prices are grossly hiked for the decent but NOT outstanding services. I’d love to know how they think their prices equivalent “everything” you receive in return? From walking in the door your entering a clean environment which is always pleasant but then you feel a sense of “am I really welcomed here” then the workers overall are more unfriendly than pleasant (only the one serving you speaks or smiles) but the service is decent it’s not anything you can’t get nearby -lol. My tech actually initiated a conversation while servicing me for multiple things and it appeared genuine. Unfortunately the overall behavior of these people is unacceptable! Their probably lasting because of majority walk-ins but I plan to let everyone I know about their attitude and high prices for average service and tell them to go elsewhere!

The customer service was pretty good, and Lauri did a really good job on my nails. She was a bit rough, and caused 2 minor cuts on my fingers because of it.I got the sports pedicure, and the dip with gel coating w/o the radiation. However, a week later the gel coating started to chip (I have a desk job so no hard labor) and the ONLY reason I was unable to go back to get them redone was because I was out of state for work. I was pissed and still am, because for these two services the cost ran me $110, so expected $110 worth!

The decor is beautiful and relaxing. They are modern with the sign in and texting. Like most places bring cash for tips. I prefer to work with nail tech Jenny.

I live right across the street from this nail salon and today I decided to get my nails done after work. Maybe its me, but when I spend money at a business, I expect the service to be friendly and professional. Everyone I encountered, from the receptionist to the nail tech, was extremely rude and unwelcoming. My nail tech was unfriendly, barely spoke a word and didnt listen to what I wanted. She kept her head down and sloppily did my nails. The prices are high and not worth it. Save your money and go somewhere else. I will be telling all my friends and neighbors to stay away!!

I drove from D.C because a friend recommended this place to me. The Chinese lady who treated me, made me feel very uncomfortable from the beginning. She asked me if I had money to pay the $ 60 that my nails were going to cost me. she did my nails reluctantly, hurried and left them crooked. At the end I gave her a $ 20 tip just to let her know that I had money. Sudden change her attitude, very kind. I will never spend my money like that again. Very expensive for bad service.

The pedicure itself was incredible and the tech was amazing. But I’m giving two stars because there was one technician (not mine) who seemed to be staring at me like I was an impostor for much of my time in the chair – and even more unasbashedly as I was preparing to pay. I had to change my review due to recent issues at the establishment. The manager (female) is extremely rude and will hover over you during your services. At any moment she can grab your hands to double and triple check to make sure youve been charged for every single nail service. Its quite uncomfortable, especially being a regular with the same nail tech every 3 weeks. She also argues with you when you have concerns. Lastly, my nails (s n s powder) were thick the last time I went and they did not look as good as they normally do. The prices recently went up as well. Go at your own risk. It could be a great place but management ruins the experience. Price range for nails/design and feet - around $110.

Tiffany did an AMAZING job on my SNS nails. She was very sweet and kind, and she was so meticulous when it came to shaping my nails (which I loved!). They offered me something to drink, and Tiffany massaged my shoulders while my nails dried, then massaged my hands a little, too! I will definitely be going back here, and will purposefully visit my friend that lives in the area just to go here, lol!!

I love the salon! My SNS colored full set did an amazing job. The technicians take their time with each customer, listen to our request, and make sure the customer feels relaxed!

I just came in for a pedicure because it was close to my apartment, but I will absolutely become a regular here! Thi did an incredible job with everything from the massage elements of the pedicure to actually painting my nails. The spa pedicures are all top quality. I highly recommend stopping in here for any manicure or pedicure needs. I’m already planning to come back in for an SNS manicure in the next couple weeks!

The location and atmosphere is beautiful and calming but I am completely unsatisfied with my nails and the service. My nail tech buffed my nails after every other layer of dip powder so I had to ask for 2 more layers just to not have to see completely threw it. They do not have a natural shape to them. They look flat. I also asked for square shape and somehow ended up with round short nails. OH and to top it off I was OVER CHARGED by $12 the front desk lady just acted like she didn’t understand me but I was so upset I just gave up, paid and left.My mother had a different nail tech. She asked for Acrylic which were not even and gel which looks like it was done in a rush. There shouldn’t be large gaps on the sides.Very amature technique over all. I WOULDNT recomend it.

PRICES VERY HIGH .. they charged me for a pedicure PLUS GEL .. my mom and I went this past weekend and our total was 194...all we got was a pedicure and i got my nails done. Never coming back there again.

Thursday afternoon--quiet. Chairs are new and clean and excellent. Didnt care to hear Taylor Swifts 22 on a classical medley--or Ed Sheeran, Sia, etc.Massage was a bit on the rough side, but I didnt tell her to soften up, so I can only complain but so much.I didnt find prices good on $48 pedicure. Prices seem comparable to the area. They DID do an excellent job on the cuticles and color application. I was very happy with results.Overall, good spot for a relaxing pedicure.
