The Seasons is a very nice place to live. The location is great…right off of 395 and conveniently located to DC, Arlington and Old Town Alexandria.The community is quite and the balcony’s on each unit is a plus. The only downside is the elevators are very dated and the hallways can be brighter. However, I’ve heard that the elevators will be replaced sometime in the very near future.The units are different but the unit I have was renovated and very nice. I haven’t had any issues with the heat or A/C running to cold or to warm.I haven’t had any rodent or pest issues. I was nervous based on some other reviews but haven’t noticed anything. I think the condominium has gotten much more established in recent years. To enter the buildings you need a key fob. This is such a nice feature to have and adds to the security of the community.The walls are also not as thin as some of the other reviews mentioned. A majority of the walls are concrete and do a good job with blocking noise.Overall, I am extremely happy with the community, location and price. I would definitely recommend The Seasons to those looking to be in a great location at a great price.

The buildings themselves are old and outdated. But the apartment I had was fairly nice. I lived in the building for 3 years, so I got a good idea of the community There are some pros and cons.Pros:- Building 5 facing towards I-95 to DC has a beautiful view, from the top floor. Location itself is near everything - the interstate, shopping centers and some nice food places.- The units themselves look better than the building. Nice large and wide balconies. Large bay-esque windows for bright light.- Most of my neighbors were fairly nice and friendly to me.Cons:- There are some questionable residents who live there. Definitely some weed smokers, and the smell would spill into the hallways or even through my bedroom window.- Depending on your unit, most of them will have a balcony door that opens and one bedroom window. So if you have a 2 bedroom unit - one room will have a window that does not open. So it can get SUPER hot and stuffy during the warm/humid weather. Windows are not sealed - so they get condensation on the inside, leak rain water when it storms or shake when the windows blow hard. Plus cold air leaks through during the winter.- The units do not have their own air unit, so heat and A/C runs for the whole building. You only have the option to run it, basically turning it on or off. Theres a thermostat, but it doesnt really adjust how hot or cold the unit gets. It just tells the temp of the unit. So depending on when management turns on the heat or A/C - youll either be cold or really HOT, mostly hot!- Pests are a HUGE problem. There are roaches galore, and mice too. (Vomit).- The elevators dont work for 1/3 of the year. So many maintenance issues with that. They say theyve been modernized or working to get them modernized, however they just made the inside look better, not by much. Still runs slow. But at least the buttons works and are more legible.- There are package thieves! So either get a P.O. Box or have it shipped to a secure drop-off point. Ive have hundreds of dollars of packages stolen, and NOTHING was done by management to help figure out who it was.- The children are the worst. Skateboarding in front of buildings where people are trying to come in and out with stuff. Riding in the streets of parked cars and moving vehicles.- The bathtub needs to be caulked and so does the kitchen. It looks unkept and cheap.- The parking situation is tricky. If youre a resident with the stick decal theyve gotten better about it and theres actual spots for people. As far as guest spots, there arent enough and are usually filled up by 7pm at the latest. Ive spent hours looking for spots and sometimes had to park in the nearest street or shopping center - then walked back.So overall, I give it 2/5 stars. There are better options in the area. But if youre looking for something cheap, affordable and short-term - Id give this place a look. But if youre in the market for something nice, a good management team and decent place - look elsewhere.

I really cant advocate this property for individuals looking to really start a family when there are better options. If you have 2 cars look the other way. If you have friends look the other way. If you have children, look the other way. If you need a cheap fast option then look here, but this is a money pit.There are positives, but i think the negatives will impact any informed decision potential buyers will make.Negatives1. There are roaches, ants and misc insects. Issue isnt addressed as a whole and the owners are left to their own devices. The board doesnt have a policy to spray on a regular basis to treat infestations. There is a service for each unit free of charge but that isolated treatment is useless if the surrounding area isnt treated as well. The board doesnt really communicate this to the community via email or paper notices taped up in the lobby.2. There are rodents. Mice inside and rats outside. This is due to bad neighbors and hollow walls that allow rodents to run free throughout the interior walls.3. Water temperature in the bathrooms are inconsistent. During the summer the water runs cold to warm at best.4. Parking has and will always be an issue. If you have 2 cars dont move here! Only 1 permanent pass is provided for each unit. You will receive a guest pass but parking for guests is very limited and towing is strictly enforced. Being a guest will require circling the parking lot multiple times maybe even hours. The spots are also limited by time and location. Location of guest parking is primarily in the back of the complex. The policy also restricts handicapped parking to permanent permits which is illegal. The law states accomodations be made for quests and all residents. The board has really established a one sided policy instead of enforcing current rules. Street parking is horrible due to congestion.5. Elevators are being replaced, but the progress is slow at best. Until elevators are replaced residents will continue to feel like they are hopping into death boxes. There are frequent outages which will ruin your day if you dont like stairs, have groceries or small children (strollers).6. There arent any amenities other than the pool. There was a playground but it was torn down for safety reasons.7. The grounds staff does a great job, but residents dont really take care of the common areas. Spilled food in elevators, trash and pee in the stairwells, broken glass. How hard is it to throw trash in the giant trash bins?8. There are cameras inside the buildings but there are still package thefts.9. Communication with the board is severely lacking. There is no website for the complex and getting in contact with the board members is difficult. The only time residents learn of changes is when the frontfront office sends an email of a sweeping decision without community input. The board works in a vacuum. The board focuses on small victories but neglects to look at the big picture. Solutions to some problems require more analysis. Every choice shouldnt be a line in the sand. There should be compromise and there isnt any here.10. Front office hours are inconsistent. The times that the management company is available really isnt convenient for individuals who work. Ill leave it at that.11. No one stays. The dissatisfaction with the property causes frequent moves. New tenants arent really invested in the success of the community. Get in and get out attitude for most.12. County property values are lowwwwwww.13. Board limits pet sizes which cant be enforced. Pets cant go on the elevators. Why? Pets have to be walked down the stairs if you cant carry them. Why? Someone who has a support animal can probably and should sue. The board really needs to consult their lawyer about these issues.14. Hoarders!15. You will need a secondary AC unit. These units arent insolated well. (Oven or igloo)PositivesDues are competitive.Active police presence.Top floors have great views.Charcoal grills allowed.Proximity to DC, highway and shopping centers

If you want your car towed at night and then get scammed out of $250 by the tow truck driver because your from out of town, then you will love this place. And dont bother asking for a receipt! On top of that, i was serving a warrant, which tells you they wanna keep criminals protected. So if your a criminal and you wanna feel safe, STAY HERE!!!

I wouldnt give this dump piece of property a star if my life depended on it. This is the worst placed Ive ever had to live. AND I WAS RAISED IN THE HOOD, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! The management here is very very awful.. And lets not forget THIER BOARD OF DIRECTORS!! Their racist, they took away the playground because they dont want kids living in the community. All the owners walk around like the own the complex.. Always snooping in peoples business, watching who comes and goes in and out your apartment. And lets not forget the BED BUGS, ROACHES AND MICE. The elevators NEVER WORK!, they also stay dirty.. Filled with trash and smell awful. They have homeless people sleeping in the stairways...Ive never recieved one packaged i had delivered to my door. DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT THIS PROPERTY.. THIS IS A WARNING..... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! And its crazy i had to give this place a star to post my rating..smh

This place sucks horribly. The maintenance is the main issue and really its the new trap. Alexandria PD stays posted up here, the tenants are rude and do not care about other peoples property. The tenants office doesnt even hold packages.How you gon charge a mortgage and not allow people to have a washer and dryer? This property is a sorry excuse.

This place is terrible the office lady is very rude and nosey cause she lives on the property and the buildings are infested with roaches and mice !! police always walking around cars broken into maintenance is slow at fixing anything everything is broken air doesnt work correctly parking is a nightmare burn it down!! do not move here !!
