I am a single mother of 2 and I am homeless. I have no family and no help I am at a dead end... I have been struggling to find a place due to an eviction on my record because my boyfriend of 12 years walked out on us and signed off of the lease. I was just a stay home mom and had nothing I tried but was 1 month behind and the landlord just wouldn’t work with me. My landlord sold the home on me right before this happened. This wasn’t even the landlord I knew or had the entire time I lived there. It was my home. I took it to court hoping they would accept my rent payment late but they wouldnt accept once it was the court day. I was told in Ohio our property is ours and we don’t need a reason for eviction. I lived in that home for over 5 years. There was nothing I could do I lost my family and my home. Everything. I had to get back on my feet on my own. I work in healthcare. And I work hard. I make more than enough money to support myself and kids. I told them everything and was turned away for the apartment because of this eviction on my record. I have proff of everything. I was reassured I would be helped. They took the application fee that I was told would only be $20 if I filled the application out that day and charged me $40. I don’t know what to do I have kids and nowhere to go. I don’t have family to turn to I don’t have anyone. What do I do if we have an eviction on our record no one helps us? No one can give us a chance? Where do we go?

Tudor Arms is where I live and my experience has been great, they get anything I need done quickly and efficiently. I was given an apartment without being discriminated against due to past mistakes. I love where I live and Im pleased with my neighbors and neighborhood.

Worst place ever to live after my husband died in my apartment 3067 Tremainsville # 102 they made myself an my daughter move out saying they just weren’t going to renew our lease! That was in July 2016 I literally had 2 weeks to find somewhere to move to and grieve the loss of my husband!
