I went to discount tire at the first place, but the staff at reception was inpatient and there was a long waiting time for the services. So I came to this NTB next door instead. The staff, Erick, was super professional and friendly to all customers. He constantly gives everyone status update and explains things patiently. When a person does that means he cares about his customers very much. What surprised me and motivated me to leave a review is I saw he crunched down to talk to a customer who was sitting. That they could make eye contact easier. I think the boss should be happy that he has this kind of employees.

NTB torqued my lug-nuts off, blamed me, although they had worked on my tires and brakes last. To be honest, Discount Tire next door is way more reputable.

STAY AWAY, UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!! I used them for years, WAS great service, not anymore. Recently brought car in for repair and THEY damaged a wheel part. Instead of offering to fix it they said I need to take it to the dealer to fix it. What, you fix tires, right? LOOONG wait time. Made appointment they said an hour to fix, took almost three….ohh yeah, and I left with it in worst condition then when I arrived.

No need to make appointment you never get in on time. I got a oil change that comes with a tire rotation, I called to make sure they rotated tires. The guy said they did, when I pick my truck up tires wasnt rotated, and all he said was Ill talk too them. No discount or anything place need customer service skills..

They rained my expensive rims, deep scratches and gouges. Also have white leather interior and the workers left black greesy hand prints all over front seat, door, centre console. I do NOT recommend this company for nice cars. Pay extra and buy from the dealer or you will pay extra buy damages to your car. Very disappointing. Take pictures before you hand your car over to anyone. 😔

Erick is very rude and doesnt care about his customers. They are slow and need better management. Would give zero stars if i could.

BEWARE! Don’t fall for their online oil change coupon. Even if they give you appointment, (on the phone they told me I’ll be in and out in 45 min) they will not honor appointment, prefer higher value customers needing extensive more expensive work over you. First I am told I have to come back because they are busy, then they tell me my car doesn’t take regular oil (i have always done conventional oil changes) I was forced to agree on semi synthetic oil. The coupon involves free tire rotation and my car was being returned without tire rotation. Upon asking, the front guy starts stuttering that it will take more time. So unprofessional and unethical! They don’t honor their own company coupons. Stay away from them!

I couldn’t be more happy with the kind, courteous, and honest assessment of my car. I was in a jam the day I pulled into NTB. I’ve used this establishment for oil changes, and state inspection but on this day last week, I needed more. These guys were so helpful and truly cared about my needs at that time. I’m recommending this establishment and their employees to the highest rating because, they are worthy of my assessment. Dropped car off to get an alignment done.

Good team! Went there for a tire repair and they did. They also checked my brake pads which was a little loose. They asked me to service them and i afterwards i could feel the difference. Recommended.

Beware! One would think that after waiting an entire 2 HRS after close, for a total of 7 HRS, your car would be in its very best shape but this shop proved me very wrong. They repaired my valve cover gasket but either through negligence or intentionally, (most likely intentionally because I wouldnt allow additional expensive, unnecessary repairs) my radiator hose was left partly disconnected for two weeks and now my car that Ive had for less than a year needs engine repair. When I called them about it, they were rude and unhelpful. If you want a functioning vehicle and dont want to spend extra money on additional repairs and/or an attorney, DO NOT GO!

The employees are nice but the shop took a really long time (4hrs) for an inspection and oil change even tho I made an appointment. Another lady was waiting for 4 hours for something that they told her would take 15 minutes. Never coming back to this place.

I have used Firestone since i started driving (16), but recently inherited a vehicle (@age 37) and shopped around a new set of tires. Thats what brought me to NTB. This is my 2nd trip back bc of the excellent customer service of Mark the store manager. I researched availabile coupons before going in and my oil change was still cheaper than i thought it would be!

I recently purchased four new tires from here. Super friendly staff presented me with several options, helped me understand the differences, and ultimately helped me select the best product for my needs and budget. The actual services were timely and thorough. They were able to give me an alignment and install all four tires in an hour. (They also have a pretty baller car wash — I received a complimentary wash after my purchase and they even hand dried my car.) A++++++

These guys are the real deal. Outstanding service. would highly recommend them to anyone. They will go above and beyond to make sure what you are paying for is done correctly.

First time at this location and I’m bummed because usually it takes hours for service so I came prepared with headphones, water, and an extra battery pack but it only took 15 min. I didn’t even get to finish an episode of my tv show. Issac was great. Definitely coming back.

I desperately needed to get a new tire due to threading that was caused by a bad alignment. After calling many places, and realizing they were closed, I called NTB and spoke with Isaac. We scheduled for me to come in when I got off work, however I ended up getting stuck at work until ten minutes before they closed. Isaac told me to come in still, even though I offered to come in on the next day. Isaac and his team got me in and out in less than an hour (which they stayed for me) and they price matched where I was originally going to go. The staff was amazing, and very friendly. I highly recommend going to NTB in The Colony!!!

Mark Pearson was incredibly helpful and polite. Safety is always first priority and even on a busy Sunday, Mark had our battery replaced within an hour. He has earned all of our future car repair business.

Gave me a diagnostic on my jeep since my engine light was on. charged me $96 for the diagnostic and said it’s the catalytic converter. tried to charge me nearly $1200 to replace. took it to B&B Muffler off 35 and found out it was just a bad O2 sensor. $100 fix there where this place was about to charge me $1200. gave 2 stars bc the guy helping me there was friendly but not happy that i nearly spent $1000 more than i needed to

Best place to get an oil change or any basic auto work in The Colony. Prices are beyond fair, the wait is usually about 45 minutes to an hour which is worth it because they get the job done right, and the customer service is good. I take both of my vehicles here for oil changes. Used to go to another place off of Main, until I realized that I was paying twice as much for lesser quality work.

My experience- I was looking for tire prices, NTB had the best prices including alignment and rotation for life of tires. I got a quote online, got there on a busy Saturday morning. The guys were able to get me in and out in a few hours and they were able to price match and got me a great set of BFGoodrich tires that Im very satisfied with. I just wish they had their buy 2 get 2 free tire deals more often.

Great service. I got new michelin tires promotion for free installation, they got me in the same day and installed the new tires. They also found lug nuts that needed to be replaced and replaced them for free. Very friendly and great prices, I would recommend them

They are always very helpful and friendly. I call worried driving with a last minute flat tire and they talk to me very calm and assure me that it will be taken care of as soon as I arrive! Plus not Expensive at all!

Excellent experience with this store! They beat every other deal I called about by $200+, and the customer service experience was great. They knew I was short on time and rushed my vehicle through a 4 tire replacement, then their tech noticed they got some grease on my wheels and stepped in to ask if I had time for them to wash it because he noticed they were clean when I brought it in. Then the manager J.W. walks out and grabs a towel to help hand dry my truck once it made it through the wash. Couldnt have been much better, Ill be back for sure.

I ran over something and stopped by to get my driver-side front tire checked. The guy that looked at it acted like he was being bothered. Stated that the tire would need to be replaced. Went and got it checked out at Discount Tire for a second opinion and they were able to repair it. Terrible customer service.

Mark is always very friendly and customer service oriented. I have used this NTB location for many years for oil changes and other services. They made me a very competitive offer to replace my tires - and I have accepted.

I got a flat tire last night right before this location closed. There was a nail in my tire and NTTA roadside assistance was unable to pump up my tire up at all. I didn’t have a spare tire, so I drove to this location on my rim, right as they were closing. They stayed open late and fixed my tire quickly and efficiently. In addition, they did not charge me for the repair. The employees were sympathetic and amazingly kind. I would recommend anyone give their business to this location. They saved me last night so I could make it to work this morning and not have to pay for a tow truck or new tire. I am forever grateful!

This is the greatest battery/tire store of all time!!! I had gotten a faulty made battery from another location 3 months prior.And theynot only gave me a complementary replacement, but also a complementary starter inspection, and tire fill up!!Most of all, the manager Issac, was a former Acura specialist.He gave me amazing advice on my 2004 Acura MDX Tech!!He was really friendly and helpful!MY NEW FAVORITE SHOP!!!!!!

These guys were great. I heard a rock guard come lose on my way home and was dragging against the asphalt. I pulled in here and they got me in right away and fixed my car quickly.

Horrible. Customer service was so bad my car did not even get looked at.I had an appointment and was running late. I called them early enough to make sure it was alright. They responded and quickly put me on hold for 40 minutes. I arrived while on hold and there was no one on their phone. They had abandoned me on hold because they were busy. The part I found stunning was that the attendant did only NOT offer an apology when I called that out; he got very angry and rude.Long story short, in spite of the treatment, I was told my car could only be looked at after 2 hours.I did not want to find out the kind of service they were going to offer after all that so I took my car home. I recommend anyone but them.

Well, I usually have great service here. But I brought my vehicle up here because a nail in my tire and because they only have one or two people working so it’s a two hour wait just to fix one flat tire. They are not busy at all so pretty frustrated.

Keith has always been my go-to guy when something goes wrong with my 2009 Mazda CX-7. It’s hard to find mechanics/auto service providers you can trust, and I can honestly say I trust these guys. Had a tire with a nail in it. It was the closest facility next to me at the time. Customer service was ok. Will be returning to Discount tire where it is cheaper and the insurance covers everything so I wont have to come out of pocket with so much funds and get a free beverage while I wait.

Horrible service. Called ahead, spoke to Mark who told me they were slow and could get me right in.(had a nail in my tire). I arrived, spoke to Keith who asked me the same questions 3 times before he understood.I sat down and waited, about 30 minutes go by and a lady comes in and has her car taken back in 10 minutes. At the one hour mark I askedKeith what the delay was, he was short and said they were busy. I was one of three people in the store. 2 hours later, I left the store and had to go somewhere else.Never again, !!! this is the third time in a year I’ve tried this store out and disappointed each time. One of the employees is walking around with his pants below his butt, so professional ,,,, not.

This was the worst tire purchasing experience I have had in over 45 years.Zach Ballas seriously needs customer service training. He does not understand that people value their time much more than he does. I waited for over four hours to get 2 tires and an alignment. In that time my sales person advised me that my truck would be next on the alignment rack several times, but never so much as offered a bottle of water or a cup of coffee. When I finally told the store personnel I would comb back on Sunday to get my truck they started apologizing. Zach came outside and offered me a free oil change. I dont have enough time to let you change the oil in my truck.When I came back on Sunday morning to get my truck, Zach again apologized and when I was short with him he said I understand, some people just cant let go. I lived with that with my dad. Obviously he didnt learn anything from that experience either.He is clearly too immature to be managing a store, and other people.

Very disappointed with the service here. We called before coming in to see if they were available to fix a tire and put a spare. They said yes and that it gets done in 15-20 minutes. I drove on a flat tire 10 minutes for them to tell me there’s a 3 hour wait. Super frustrated and 10 minutes out from home to wait 3 hours to get something done that we were told 20 minutes for initially. Spoke to mark at the front. I guess that’s the service we expected. Won’t be coming back to this location - I should’ve checked the reviews before coming. Not such good reviews.

It is my first experience at NTB and I will do business with them again.I scheduled my 4 wheel alignment for Monday at 5pm. I showed up 30 minutes early and they got started right away. They quoted 1 hour to complete the work. Within the hour they brought my keys out and explained that the cause of my issue(heavy pulling to the right) was due to a bad tire and new front tires would fix it.(my tires did need replacing) They explained my tire options(none of my size in stock). I ordered the tires the following morning at 7am and dropped my vehicle off at 11am. They quoted an hour and I got a call back in two hours.I am impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The customer service was excellent and they didnt push services on me. The simple fact that they were honest about the bad tire, ignored my request for the alignment and didnt charge me for anything is a perfect example of how customer service is done well.Good job NTB!

I went to ntb in colony last night, I need a tire repair done and they were very busy. The tall young man with glasses at front desk helped me out tremendously, even though they closed in 30 minutes he fix my tire for me and not charge. I was very worried for my family, but ntb won by business. Thank you to the tall young man with glasses, I sorry I dont remember his name.

I cant say enough good things about the employees and management at this location! Theyve gone out of their way multiple times to make sure were squared away, their prices are very fair, and the work is always performed in a timely fashion correctly, and CLEAN. This is one of the few car places my girlfriend will go to alone since they never attempt to take advantage of the fact she knows very little about cars, just fair honest assessments and quotes. Ive been using them for years on multiple vehicles and will continue doing so in the future.

I was a regular customer with this particular location for years and relied on them for oil changes, tire rotations, and the usual checks. About a year & a half ago I paid their $100 diagnostic fee because my check engine light came on and was told that my catalytic converter was bad on my 2011 Chevy. They offered to apply the $100 toward the cost of repairs if I used their shop for the work but didnt get me an estimate for another two weeks and it came out to be $1200. When I asked how sure they were of this reading I was told that they have newer, fancy machines and they dont make mistakes on things like this. I did some research on my own and my husband took a look online. Thank goodness.. $75 later, about 30 minutes in the garage, and two censors changed (thanks to my husband and AutoZone), the light is off and no further repairs are needed. Soon after, my battery died on me. I was nearby a Sams at the time so I went there for the new battery but the tech told me that the old one (which couldnt even be jumped at this point) had gotten so bad they had trouble getting it out of the vehicle! National Tire BATTERY, who had been entrusted with my vehicles most basic maintenance needs for years, couldnt bother to check that I needed a new battery beforehand? $100 out for a wrong diagnosis and lots of lost trust later.. Im ready for a new shop. If they wanted to make things right they had plenty of opportunities to do so but I suppose theyre just not interested.

I felt comfortable that they werent trying to sell me stuff I dont need.Edit. This is now the third time Ive been here for oil changes, all 3 times I made an appointment. The first time was so fast and they were friendly and it was great. The second time, despite having an appointment mid day during the week, it still took them 2 hours to complete. This time they qouted me 45mins to an hour (despite having an appointment), and they are still working on it over an hour later.

I should’ve just went to the dealership. At least there they wouldn’t leave my tan leather seat and inside the driver door dirty with whatever black cramp came off there tools or clothes. I had to wipe out my car before I could get in. They also left the grease on my tire and wheel from the repair.I just want to say thanks for the experience and I will not utilize the services at another NTB location.

Bought a tire from NTB in The Colony. Just a tire. No mounting, balancing, etc. I walked in and picked up a tire and walked out with the tire in my hands. They charged me for a disposal fee. When I questioned the fee they wouldnt take it off. Completely ignoring the fact the there was no tire for them to dispose of.

I called trying to get a refund for a 50$ deposit i put down the day before, although I was given a receipt I was told its impossible for a refund and that I could buy the part from them for an extra $55 or completely lose my money I asked to speak to a store manager witch was Bob Chastain and he told me hes trying to run a business and that could not get a refund so I said I would like a refund so I wouldnt have to call the corporate office then he told me come get your refund refund and quit being a dick. I would give them negative Stars if possible. STAY AWAY!!!

Worst experience at a mechanic that I can remember. I came in to simply get my tail light and turn signal replaced. The estimated time to repair this was 45 minutes to an hour which is long to begin with. After an hour and 15 minutes passed I asked what the delay was on my car only to find out that they didnt have the bulbs in stock. 2 hours pass and I ask again what the delay was and they told me the guy delivered the wrong bulb to the shop. Finally after 2 and a half hours I am finally told that my car is finished. Being a first time customer I expected them to make it right by offering a discount or washing my car or something but they did nothing to make up for a horrible experience. 2 and half hours and $80 later and I finally get to leave. I will not be going back.

2 hours to fix a flat theres only one other car here, never again Ill go to Walmart and plug it myself, it only takes maybe 20 minutes to fix a flat these people have me here all night horrible.

Called right before closing time. Something stabbed my tire on the way home. Had to change my tire in Richardson and limp home on the donut. By the time I got home this was the only place still open. Called them up and they said to come on in. They got me rolling again. Couldn’t be happier!

These guys pushed me to spend $200 on a new tire because of a nail in the tire but they didn’t even check and see that the nail had not even punctured the tire. Terrible customer service.

Brought my SUV in for a window regulator install and some other work. They did a great job.

Im highly dubious of mechanic shops, stealerships, etc. Its difficult to find a place that doesnt screw up, steal your shlt, overcharge or all of the above. Ive had tires mounted here and alignment. They work quickly, no BS, and seem to be honest. Midas wants $35 / wheel to mount and balance, but NTB charges $24. After a few visits this NTB has nearly earned my trust.

Im editing this review again and changing the rating to 4 stars. The store has earned 5, but corporate customer service was such a frustrating experience that it undermines good management at the local store.Long story short: My husband took his car in to get an oil change and rotation. He had 2 bad tires so on their recommendation he replaced them. After he picked up the car it was undriveable when it went about 30mph.My husband contacted customer service through the website. DONT DO THAT unless you are at an impasse with the store manager. Ryker, the store manager is a great guy who just unfortunately went out of town when this situation arose.After getting responses from customer service claiming it had to be our fault (which it wasnt), we went by the store and spoke with Ryker again. He told us what he thought the problem was, proposed a solution, and it worked. He knows his stuff about cars, and is hopefully working to spread that knowledge so that others can tackle tougher problems when hes away.So - great store, just stay away from NTB customer service, as it appears to be less about service and more about liability management.I am leaving part of my original review in response to the owner. It was contacting NTB customer service through the website that started the frustration, so that does not seem like a good option to propose, and is the least proactive response Ive seen from a service department for a disappointed customer.

Nice place. Parking is definitely confusing because they share a lot with a car wash and things are a little tight knit but the ppl here are friendly and they are helpful. I like this location because it is more down to earth and they seem to have seasoned employees and not a bunch of kids right out of highschool. They always have gotten my car out pretty quickly and they dont recommend a lot of repairs i dont need. I feel they are honest and they dont seem put out to help me like some of the other fancier prettier NTB locations.Give this one a chance and I bet you will agree.

Worst experience ever. They are rude. They always tries to hide any existing offer available at NTB. When I told them about the offer they said that is only for some cars. Other NTB location they have informed me about the offer and accepted my car. Also even after appointment they took 2 hours to change oil.

I can’t say how happy I am to finally find a place I can take my car to and feel like they are very honest and genuinely care about the customer!I took my car to A-1 Honest a couple of months back because I was noticing hesitation with my car when I stepped on the gas. The mechanic drove it and said he didn’t notice anything wrong with it but said they could clean out the fuel system. After I paid almost $300 for them to do this I still did not notice any difference and brought it back. Once again the same mechanic drove it & still said everything was fine. I just wrote it off to maybe it was just me.I took it to NTB a couple weeks ago to get all new tires & alignment work done. Ryker, the Manager of the store, after looking over my car asked if I noticed hesitation when I stepped on the gas? I had never even told him about this problem because I thought he would tell me the same thing as the other mechanic. I told him that I had & that I had taken it to another shop & they said it was fine. He showed me some of the dirt that he saw that had gone into my fuel system & said they could clean it out & I would notice a big difference. $60 later I felt like I had a new car with how much better it drove! He said it did not look like the other place I had taken it to had done anything which I’m sure they didn’t. I will never go back to A-1 Honest again because I felt like they ripped me off more than once.Last week we thought my daughter’s power steering went out on her car & she did not have towing insurance. I went to NTB & asked Ryker if they worked on that & he said they did. I told him about the situation with my daughter being afraid to drive it & no towing coverage on their insurance. Ryker said no problem & that if I picked him up the next day & took him to the car that he would drive it to the store. He not only went way above and beyond to help her out he also secured her front bumper that was almost falling off & did not even charge her for it. It ended up being the alternator that was going out which caused the battery to go out as well.I can’t say enough good things about Ryker & how good it feels to know that I have a place I can take my car to & know they will do a great job & not try to rip me off like the other place did. He definitely has two very happy customers for life!!

They seem to do good service, but theyre arent particularly quick with it. I made a 10:30 appointment for a conventional oil change and left at noon.

Had a 7pm appointment for an oil change. Arrived at 7, was told I did not have an appointment (I scheduled online), and was told they could not help me. They were open for another hour and had one car in the shop and no other scheduled appointments. Only time in 30+ years Ive been turned away from an oil change for lack of an appointment.... And of course, I did have an appointment. Bizarre, I guess Ill go elsewhere.

Positive experience, went to have an oil change and alignment. They checked out my car with a list of issues and an estimate. They did not pressure me to get it fixed today. One of the issues was with the battery and I had a warrantee, this allow me to go to the original place and they verified it was bad and I had it replaced under warrantee.
