I love this place! I will not take my cars anywhere else! We have been coming here for a few years. The guys are so professional and honest! I can always count on them to tell me exactly what I do & dont need. I can be confident that they are doing a good job and that Im not being over charged! I am so comfortable here that I send my 3 kids here with their cars and have no worries!

Took my car in for inspection and the gas cap worked fine. They said it was leaking and needed replaced but never showed me the test that proved it. They took forever to go get a cheap aftermarket cap and a few weeks later the gas cap message starts on my dash. I think my cap was fine and they just wanted the upsell for the cap. Ended up having to replace their cheap cap with OEM from dealer.

My AC went out and I brought it to this shop to get it repaired. A week later, it stopped working again, and I brought it back to them. The entire shop team had such an immediate reaction and wanted to get it fixed. They all went above and beyond to figure out what was going on with my air and didnt stop until they figured it out. They were so kind, professional, and truly cared about fixing the issue. Ive been taking my car to them for oil and inspection for a couple of years, but now I appreciate their service even more and will continue to trust them with the big things too.

Ive been using this shop for both big and small jobs for about two years. The manager, Joe, is quite knowledgeable and has always treated me and my 2003 Anna Accord well! He and his team, including Cody and Jordan (the only names I remember), try hard to be professional and courteous, even when theyre very busy and stressed. Their shop is clean, as are their waiting areas and bathroom. Theyve earned my continued business and Im glad to have found a reliable garage nearby.

The perpetual owner/employee turnover and subsequent inconsistencies appear to have ended. Ive only had oil changes and minor maintenance like coolant and transmission flushes and have always been happy with their work and prices.

They made my cars cabin dirty by their f... dirty hands.I dont know how can i clean it.the worst is kwik kar.I never go there .Yesterday I went for inspection. I never recommend kwik kar to you. They dont care their customers. I never go there.The worst experience Ive ever had.

I came in with what I thought was a blown fuse, Cody and his team went to work to figure out the issue. Turned out to be a fuse prong issue. They corrected it at no charge. Cody and his team were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous :-) I will definitely be using their services in the future!

Worst auto shop ever. They used cheap bad quality starter on our car that burnt in 4 months and charged us hefty amount for that. Thankfully car didn’t get burnt . Other Kwik kar location is saying they have never seen such starter. The assistant manager and manager at this auto shop are very rude and unprofessional people. They will not honor the warranty on the part and would not cooperate and even give us warranty providers details so we can talk to warranty company to figure out the way and just hung up on us. I don’t see why they have problem sharing warranty department phone number. I would recommend to never go to this place. We have to pay double amount to fix the same problem. I would give -ve 5 star if I could.

Poor quality work and recommendations. Had to take my truck back after having the AC fixed here once. They forgot to put back on a bolt fastener to my OEM F-150 battery terminal. Car didnt start after I got home from the shop and had to order the replacement part. I would not recommend these guys to do big jobs like AC work. The guys here seem young disorganized, inexperienced, and unprofessional. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN

Let me start off by saying we as a women unfortunately we are 9 times out of 10 getting taken advantage of taking our cars anywhere. But this location, staff especially staff member Andrew went up and beyond to help me out in a bind I got myself in, procrastinating to getting my car fixed to pass my inspection. Andrew was very professional and showed compassion to want to help me to get my car up and running to be able to renew my expired tags so my car won’t get towed. He went out of his way on his personal time to help me get to work after dropping off my car so they can start as soon as they open. And kept me in the loop with repairs and cost before and after. One of the best encounters I’ve ever had going to any repair shop and didn’t feel like I was getting cheated because I was a women. I will def be back if I have any other issues in the future! THUMBS up to Andrew and I really hope the owner reads this gives Him some type of incentive bonus or something on his spectacular customer service and gaining a regular customer!!! Really worth a 10 star if you ask me

Save money and goto some other location. They used bad quality starter on my car which was covered under so called nation wide warranty. The part burned in 3.5 months and would have burned my car. We towed to closest kwik kar and they said they never saw this starter as the stickers on it were also removed. When we asked the contact number of warranty department guess what they are not willing to give that and just hung up . If it has real warranty by would someone not share the contact details of them . STRANGE? Very Rude and not professional. Warranty is a hog wash . I have to get the same part replaced from other location and have to pay for it in 3.5 months again .

Went into get my trucks annual inspection, the place was busy but the staff worked hard to get everyone in and out in a timely manner. I wasnt thinking and went in around lunch time for working people in-spite of the rush the staff were professional and got everyone in and out.Thanks to all.

Took my truck in for a simple state inspection to end up almost causing a major accident on Main Street. They failed to properly shut and secure my hood after inspection was completed and it ended flying off and breaking off landing in the street during traffic peak time. Im just glad nobody was hurt or killed. I dealt with insurance for repairs over a month including a rental car I had to work out of that was extremely frustrating. To say that Id be back and bring my vehicles or recommend this place for service, Id be lying. Staff was friendly, but a little too friendly where it may have distracted them from performing their job. They even left their tool scanner plugged into my truck when I was cleared to go. This was the 2nd time and on a different visit they had done that. I had a bad experience and sad to say I will definitely not be coming back or recommending.

False diagnosis of my vehicle! Last week the check engine light on my JX35 has turned on. This shop charged me $343.56 for airflow sensor replacement. A few days later the check engine light came on again and I brought my car to the shop. The mechanic said he did wire the check engine light for now but diagnosis will take more than 3 hours if the check engine light comes on again.Today the check engine light came on as I expected. I went to my infiniti dealership repair and their diagnosis only took 30 minutes. They found that intake boot was torn and needs to be replaced. I finally got my car fixed. Im glad that I did not go back to this shop. Otherwise, I would waste more than 3 hours and pay additional money for misdiagnosis and misrepair.

Was denied my Groupon because I didn’t make an appointment. Had to pay double the price. What a joke. The business has to screw customers over for $40 dollars. Take the Groupon off if you don’t wanna match it. 100% do not use these people for anything. Not to mention the “shop” behind the shop. Doing god knows what.

I was initially reluctant to take my car to a oil lube place for a transmission issue. But a good friend of mine recommended them and so I went ahead and took my vehicle there. I thought the bill was going to be several thousand dollars because of a transmission leak. The manager there Joe was very professional and said not to worry he would let me know exactly what was wrong before they did any repairs. It turns out I just had a hose that was cut and the repair cost almost nothing. Dwayne was also helping out with my repair and he was very informative and told me exactly where the problem was. I walked out of there paying less than $100 for the oil change and the repair. I highly recommend Kwik Kar if you have any car issues. They are very honest and trustworthy

I had quite a few repairs that I needed done. I was quoted a range of $500-$1,200 more for the repairs at three different shops. Each time I visited this shop, I encountered a different employee and was treated with respect and was provided with honest and helpful information. Having several mechanical issues needing costly repairs is never an enjoyable situation. However, as a women in her 20s that knows minimal about cars, I can sincerely say this was the best experience I’ve ever had at an auto shop. I highly recommend this place. They are quick, affordable and honest.

I ended up paying around 100 bucks for them to ruin my spark plugs and wires and potentially my internal engine components due to length it took for them to not be able to figure out spark plugs and wires....

Worst customer service ever, they were condescending and rude. *Update Below*1st Review-I used a Groupon, for rear brake pads, with no appt. The staff was friendly, and offered maintenance education without pressure for extra services. I went in around 4:30pm on a Wed, and was out within the hour. I definitely recommend this Kwik Kar, especially for single women.Updated:2nd Review-After about a month, the rear breaks that I had replaced began to squeal again. I came in to have the issue checked. The Asst Mgr Garret said he drove it around, didnt hear anything, so there was obviously no problem. He even said that break squeal more in the morning, as if I should just accept this and move on with life.I came back the next day to speak with the Mgr, Joseph. Not only did he actually inspect the issue, but he showed and explained to me how and why I needed my rotors changed.The Kwik Kar ownership should be proud of, and grateful to have Joseph representing their values and name.

I have an 18 year old dodge ram 3500 dog grooming van which has been crazy reliable all things considered but when things go wrong, which they do, Kwik Kar has always had my back.The staff are always friendly, professional and offer no BS. I never feel like Im getting the run around and because Im a business on wheels I always ask to have the van ready as soon as possible and they always do. This place is a ripoff.They seemed angry that I actually used the Groupon, and I was told that the Groupon is a ripoff because they price match and then they charged me an extra $14 on top of the Groupon price, and I actually chose the premium service.They then wanted to sell me $280 worth of additional services. These guys are great. We moved to The Colony 2yrs ago and have been taking all of our cars here since. Big or small jobs, they are great. Today they helped me change out my back battery that I purchased. Helped me right away and just good people!!!

Tread on my front tires was really low and they were able to provide new tires at a reasonable price and mount them for me, passing my inspection.I appreciated Garrett’s help in making sure my vehicle was take care of and I would go back again.

They havent screwed up my car. It is hard to find a mechanic thats honest and does quality work, these guys have never left my drain plug or oil filter loose. They also alert me to any other issues with my car and will show me what they are talking about.

Garrett at Kwik Kar quickly analyzed the problem with my car and got it sorted out within 10 minutes! He also highlighted some issues with the last oil change that I had gotten that caused my current problem - the last place didn’t screw the plastic flap on the underside of my car on properly. DO NOT GO HERE. ZERO STARS IF I COULD.I have never been absolutely livid at a business before this.Went for an inspection. Failed report said my two FRONT tires had low tread depth, not back. Back were fine. Okay no worries, I noticed it, acknowledged it, and went elsewhere to get my front tires changed (got untrusting vibes from the guy helping me thats why)So I went to an established tire place, got two new tires. They had to switch my front and back tires because the new ones always go on the back. Before they did this, they asked me if there were any issues with the back tires. Note, I said no because my inspection said only my two front tires were only messed up.Went back here today to get a redone on my inspection for no fee. Apparently I failed this time due to wrong tires. I dont understand? I just got new tires. You can see the tread looks great. The guy helping me (same guy) said the back tires look great (the new ones) but now my front tires are low on tread depth. This is utter BS because if that was the case, you wouldve told me during my first inspection that my back tires need to be changed too.When I asked if I could speak with the person who does my inspection, the guy answers hes not very smart. WHY IS HE DOING MY INSPECTION THEN?They just want to scam you for more money. AVOID. AT. ALL. COSTS.

I had a less than favorable experience at this location. Be aware and educated of what your car does and does NOT need. I called about my experience and spoke with the manager Matt and they immediately apologized and offered a solution. Nice people, just be an informed consumer.

I came in on Sunday to have a car inspected before I bought it. It took them less than 20 minutes, and they gave me a list of what needs to be repaired, as well as the estimated cost and what would be a good price to pay for the car. The price for the inspection was reasonable, and I didnt need an appointment. The staff was very nice as well

Both times I have trusted my car to Kwik Kar, I have been SO impressed with the level of service I have received. Matt and his staff are friendly and informative and I have never felt they are trying to upsell me or convince me that I need to spend more money than what is necessary. I feel they have integrity with their customers and that is something that I have had an incredibly hard time finding in this business. As a single mom, I feel blessed to have a mechanic I can trust with my time, money, and vehicle!!!

I went to this place to have the state inspection done for my car. I have already been to other kwik car locations for state inspection previous years and their service is very good. The wait time is very less and service was quick as their name suggests. The charge for the inspection is around 25$. The staffs working their kind and very professional. Ive been twice in the last few months and the guys are always great, helpful and nice!

I have been going here for more than 10 years. The guys have always been extremely helpful and professional. Once they explained the new Texas Two Step Registration/Inspection to me in great detail. Another time they helped my son by replacing the ball bearings on his skateboard. They have also helped me by tightening up all the bolts after I replaced my moms battery. This is always my go-to place! I just wish I could take my car there for big repairs. I love and trust these guys.

We came in for a car inspection, and in the few minutes it took for him to pull the car around the mechanic identified a problem weve had with our steering wheel, and gave us the solution and an estimate. Weve tried 5 other mechanics, none of whom were able to identify this issue, much less provide a solution. We will definitely be using Kwik Kar for our vehicle needs going forward!

I went to this location on Tuesday for an oil change.. When I pulled my car in the gentleman who checked me in told me it would be $65 for an oil change that I need to do the synthetic oil.. when I returned to pick it up they told me my total was $100 I questioned it, since they had called and told me I needed to change my air filter and i declined, I thought they did it anyway.. turns out they charge extra for the oil they use, it is not included in the $65 they charge you... I was upset they didnt tell me upfront... I dont mind paying it if thats what it costs, I was upset I was not told before hand and now I was stuck since the work was done and they could care less, when I mentioned what happened all I got was a shrug and told to pay again..

My daughter went here to get an inspection, $187.00 later no inspection. Same day went else where got Inspection. Charged $40 for $20 wipers- unnecessary, $30 for $4 tail light also unnecessary, and claimed there was a crankshaft leak that needed to be fixed for addio al $487... shop here at your own peril rip off artists.

I had regularly gone to this place in the past until an incident a year ago when I got the rear differential transmission fluid replaced. I was quoted a price of 100 for both and when I did it the next day, they charged an extra 50 dollars. when I spoke to the manager at the time, I was given a faint apology and $10 off for my trouble. needless to say I hadnt been back.Fast forward a little over a year to today and I needed an oil change for my truck. I was hopeful that after a year, things would be better. I was wrong. Mid oil change, the tech asked to show me my filters and showed that they needed replacement. The cabin filter I agreed with the air filter not so much. He said he d change it out but never quoted a price.While I waited, I looked up both filters online for an idea of what they cost. The cabin filter was about $10-15, the other about $18-25. When they came to check me out, my normally $105 oil change was now $190. They had replaced both of filters (I had asked for 1) and again was offered $10 off for the confusion. When I protested that this was quite an upcharge and you included a service I didnt request, again I was given a half hearted apology and was told they could put the old filters back in, but it would be a little wait. I didnt have time for this so I paid the extra, but This establishment will never receive another penny from me and I will make sure that others are aware of the practices that go on here.

I am here to make a revised statement about Kwik Kar; previously I gave The Colony Kwik Kar a very bad review: however, I am here to say that I personally talked to the owner of the franchise and he is a very understanding and concerned owner.We worked out any problems that I had to a more then satisfactory; even though, I still do not recommend The Colony Kwik Kar under the Manager Joe. I will highly recommend his new Kwik Kar that just opened up in prosper. It is the nicest Kwik Kar I have ever seen with all the modern equipment to accommodate a wide range of services so take time to swing by their new location off Teel in prosper I am sure you will be happy with their rang of servicers and the knowledge of their technicians.

My dad always said I shouldnt go to the car shop by myself. This place is why. Im not sure if this was stereotyping at its worst or just bad business, but I went here today for an oil change had the most unprofessional experience.I interacted with two employees whose names I did not get (I didnt forget; they werent offered). The first - well call him Customer Service - quoted me $35.99 and 15 minutes for a conventional oil change with up to 5 quarts of oil. I asked if they could check the tires because the light was on and was told it was included. More than half an hour later, the second employee - Service Tech - called me out to look at the brake fluid and cabin air filter. Service Tech was very friendly and tells me that the brake fluid is turning colors and should be flushed and that the cabin air filter is dirty and should be replaced.So maybe my dad was right - I dont know what color brake fluid is supposed to be - but I did just replace that cabin air filter myself several weeks ago, and its still the same shade of white. Side note: I picked up that filter at an auto parts store for around $15. Theirs start at $49.99. Im not mechanically inclined at all, but Ive changed these in four different vehicles with the assistance of YouTube from the front seat of the vehicle and without getting dirt under my nails. Super easy.Anyway, after declining additional services, I went in to pay and my total was more than $50. Customer Service tells me that the oil change is $37.99 and it took more than 5 quarts of oil and its $10 for the oil filter. A $2 pricing error is not a big deal and the couple extra dollars for oil is fine, but arent oil filters included in an oil change? He assures me that theyre not. (After leaving, I checked their website, which states that oil changes include filters. So I reviewed my receipt and found it to be a premium filter charge of $9.99... still not sure what that is, or why he called it something different than what says on the receipt. Also, the receipt listed all checklist items good and we now know they didnt think that the brake fluid or cabin air filter were good at all.)When I got in the car to leave, the tire light was still on so I asked about it. They said drive a few miles, it will go off. So I drove a couple miles home and it was still on. I turned around and went back. After some back and forth, Customer Service agrees to check them again. He checks the tires then adds air to the front drivers side. Service Tech comes over and tells me about how the sensor is probably going out and I should watch for bulging tires. About a half a mile down the road back home, the light goes off. My guess - now that the tire has been aired up properly, the light goes off. Nothing wrong with the sensor, but Ill take it somewhere else just to be sure.Needless to say, I wont be going back here. Most of these items individually could have been dismissed as oversight or mistakes, but cumulatively, they paint a picture of dishonesty and shady business practices. I may be a girl, but Im no fool.

Brought in my 2016 Dodge Journey due to noise coming from driver side tire. They assisted me quickly, efficiently and determined the issue was loose lug nuts. They took care of me and there customer service is awesome.

Received a coupon postcard for $7.00 off State Inspection. Did not specify that it had to be on a specific type vehicle. But were told that we could not use it for a diesel vehicle. They were very rude about it and gave the attitude that we were trying to cheat them. Obviously we went somewhere else and will do so in the future. Been using this location for many many years.
