Just had a great experience with everyone here at The Colony location. I talked to Sam on the phone this morning and he was extremely helpful. Then, when I arrived Sunny was just as helpful. The tech that actually changed my 4 tires (I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name) was quick! I had all 4 tires changed and I was in and out in under 40 minutes. And they were very busy. Great job, guys! This will definitely be my go-to spot for anything tire or wheel related. I am planning to get new wheels soon and I will absolutely be coming back to this store for those!

Ive been to about three or four other locations, and this one was very aware of servicing Teslas (e.g., cannot lift them up as to not damage the battery).The goal was to replace all four this upcoming weekend, but a sudden sharp decline in psi meant I had to get them sooner.Sure enough, I was having a flat. I was able to call in the morning and was able to negotiate pricing and all. They didnt have the tires I needed in stock, so we put in an order with the hope of having them delivered by end of day Thursday. We made an appointment for an install late Friday afternoon.Later in the afternoon (same day), I noticed that I had an email stating that they arrived. I thought there was a mistake. So I called them. They confirmed that the tires came in the same day!! Since I was quickly losing air in one of the tires, I asked if I can take my time and show up, but it would be half an hour before they close. He insisted that it would not be a problem, so I did. They took care of me. It was a very friendly service, they were courteous, and even considerate about who drove the car into the bay thats did not get any greasy hands onto the seats.

I have been going to this location for a number of years. Recently my son and I wanted to get a new set of rims and tires for our truck. Joe and Anthony we’re very helpful in getting the parts ordered. We had a slight hiccup with the size of the tire when they did a test fit, but they recommended a replacement size and placed an order for that. Once all the parts were in Isaiah did a great job installing the wheels and Jordan was very helpful to make sure that I was satisfied with the fit and look of the new rims and tires.We will continue to go back for our tire rotation and maintenance and when my daughters vehicle needs tires this is the exact spot we’re going to. Great job guys.

Solid and reliable. Noticed an impact bubble on one of our tires and went online to place an order for a new replacement. Said it would take 3 days to come in, but ended up coming even sooner. The staff was wonderfully responsive and got us in quick and painlessly with no hassle at all. Im sure theres cheaper ways to get a tired swapped out, but Discount will always be our go-to simply for their reliability and consistency in service.

Even though the location was busy, they were able to get me in and out with an time estimate.They gave me multiple options for my vehicle, and at no time did I feel like they were trying to upsell me. In fact, they measured all of the tire depths BEFORE we discussed how many tires I needed (I knew I needed 2, but I also thought 4 was a distinct possibility).There are a lot of better and more enjoyable ways to spend time and money, but if you need tires quickly, this is a great place to go!

Went here too get the air in my tires filled.. I had no expectations but it was a cool experience. Free air service and all I had to do was drive up. I think I might get my next set of tires from this place which will be soon. $$

I give this particular store 2 stars. They did have the tires I wanted in stock (searched online, set up the appointment online). They were very fast. The counter tech looked at the old tires, claimed I had different sizes in the front versus back (not correct, same size front and back, not a good idea to have different sizes with an all wheel drive Audi). No issue, I ordered the same tires. When I went in to pick up the car, they said they broke one of the Audi center caps and ordered a replacement. The techs comment we break it, we replace it. Looking at it (it had 2 of the 4 tabs broken), I inspected all of the remaining wheels before leaving the parking lot. I discovered a second center cap was barely on the wheel and this one had 1 missing tab and a second tab barely hanging on. I showed the tech and he said he would order a second cap and call me when it arrived. Two weeks later, no call. I called them and they said they had the 1 cap in. I asked about the second and oh, they forgot. They said they would order it and call me. Two weeks later, no call. I called again and went through the same dance. They again said they would order the center cap. Three weeks later, no call, I went in and yes they had the first cap, said they ordered the second cap which arrived 10 days ago but they only had the 1. They actually claimed I must had picked up the first one.Do not go to this store. I have had the same wheels and center caps on 4 different Audis. I always used them for summer tires and had Discount Tire (in a different state) replace the summer tires (now 5 times). I understand that stuff happens and things break. I can accept that as long as they take responsibility for it and replace them. However, I do not accept breaking 2 center caps with a Ill put this one on and he wont notice attitude. This tells me if there was a way he could have put both on and try to pass it off, he would. Ill try a different store and hopefully they will have more integrity if they break something.

They didn’t push extra expenses to make more money off of me. Makes me trust their recommendations waaaay more. 2 tires changed in less than an hour on a busy Saturday morning is super fast from previous experience elsewhere. I’ll definitely use them for any future repairs.

Quick at fixing the tire. But charged me a hefty replacement certificate fee I never agreed to. Went up to them to ask why they charged me and they “assumed I would agree to it” (ridiculous). These people will try to scam you, but will issue a refund if you catch them doing it.

Had a tire that was cut on tollway by something on road. Took it in to store they replaced no questions. Really happy that I carry they offer when you purchase tires. Best insurance I ever bought

I brought my daughters car into the discount tire location in The Colony and I had the pleasure of working with both Chris and Sam. They were extremely professional, very knowledgeable and the level of customer service we received was impeccable. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for new wheels or tires. They made the process very easy for me today and I greatly appreciate it.

Ordered tires online seamlessly. Called to reschedule our installation effortlessly. Got the tires changed and was on my way in 30 mins after my arrival. Discount Tire operates like well-oiled machine. This was my time using them but Im now a customer for life.

I placed an order online for a replacement tire since I punctured one of my own this morning on my way to work. Between placing the order online and walking out of the store with my tire replaced, the whole process took less than an hour. Even though they were busy, they were super friendly and fast. Definitely recommend them if you need a tire replaced asap!

I have to say that Discount Tires really saved the day for my Daughter. She had never visit nor bought tires at a Discount Tires. Well she called me in a panic, lives in a different state and I suggested she go to a discount tire and have them review the problem she was having with a tire losing pressure. With two young kids in the SVC, she was a little frazzled if it was going to be a serious problem like having to change a tire.. So she went into a Discount Tire in the Prairie Village area and they took her right in to fixed the leaking tire, and when they were all done checking all the tires and fixing the leaking tire, she asked how much it was; they politely no charge and we hope when you buy new tires you keep Discount Tires in mind. So for this I just put on two new set of tires and wont go anywhere else. Thank you Discount Tire for truly showing great customer service.

We scheduled an appointment to have our previously purchased tires rotated and balanced. They called us shortly after we arrived and we drove into the garage where they serviced the car quickly. Then we drove out of the garage. Their mechanics never touched the handles or steering wheel of our car (which is nice during the COVID-19 pandemic).

Huge shout out to the guys at Discount Tire tonight. I always bring my vehicles to you guys and you take care of my tires. I was heading out to run some errands tonight and noticed I had a nail in my tire. I immediate come your direction first. I pulled in at 5:59pm and realized you guys closed at 6pm. The guys asked what I needed and offered to take a look. I noticed the closing time and said I would come back tomorrow. The whole crew jumped up and got me taken care of right then even after closing time. You guys are always awesome to work with!!!

Excellent visit. I had purchased a car that had some security lug nuts but did not include the removal tool. I tried finding one online without success. I took the car to several mechanics and tire shops, still without success. I took the car to NTB and they said they could remove the lug nuts for $65 but they didn’t have the removal tool either. Then they say, no we cannot remove the lug nuts and to try other locations. So, I went to the discount tire that was literally right next door and not only did they have the correct removal tool, they would remove the lug nuts, rotate the tires, and install the new lug nuts. All at no charge. Great service.

So I had a blowout, drove on it for a good half mile or so before I pulled over and changed over to the spare, took it into the discount tire in Austin (the one on Research blvd) and they changed out my tire and my rim.Took forever, I got in at just before 3 and wasnt out till 6 but whatever, if you do a good job I dont mind. They changed out my tire and I figured Im all good right? Nope, I start driving and all my warning lights come on: traction control off, antilock brakes not working, tire pressure light, the yellow triangle with an explamation mark, almost all the lights.I came back to the store and they said just drive for 20-30 minutes and theyll go away. I do that and no, they dont go away. I have to be in Dallas the next day so I drive all night with the sensors on, hoping its just a mistake and theyre not really supposed to be on.Get to the Dallas area the next day and take it into the store here. Not this location, the Little Elm location. There, they were very helpful, said that the problem was that the last Discount Tire in Austin hadnt replaced the tire pressure sensor, they proceeded to replace that and again told me to go on my way and the lights would go away after 20-30 minutes. They again didnt.I went to a third Discount Tire, this location. The first employee I talked to couldnt help so he called his manager who was extremely rude, tried to say it was not Discount Tires problem that I was having car issues and when I told him the lights only came on after the other Discount Tire location in Austin changed my tires he said Id have to take it up with them. When I asked if he really expected me to drive all the way to Austin to the same franchise he said it wasnt his problem and to go to a mechanic. I asked if Discount Tire would pay for this mechanic to reset my codes since they werent there until I took it into them and he said no, why would we, its a problem with your car, not the tires. I again pointed out that the problem (the warning lights) didnt occur until the other Discount Tire swapped out my tire and he proceeded to tell me that I had to leave and if I have any further questions or concerns to contact the Austin store where I had originally changed my tire. Nevermind the fact that Im over 3 and a half hours away from Austin. No, of course the same chain that operates under the same name cant be bothered to coordinate between stores, I have to drive almost 4 hours back to the original store I went to to get them to fix the problem.I will say, the employees in the first two stores I went to, the Austin and the Little Elm store, were very helpful and did their best to fix my problem, they just happened to mess up something in the electrical system and now all the lights wont go away. No big deal if they just took care of it. But they didnt.At the third store I went to, this one that Im writing the review on, the first employee was nice but couldnt fix the problem so he called the manager. The manager was extremely rude and tried to make it out that it was my fault that this happened and basically just tried to do anything he could to get me out the door. I got into the store just before 5:30pm and they close at 6pm so Im assuming he didnt want to deal with it and just go home but now Im stuck with this car with all the warning lights on.Im assuming theres not actually a problem with the tire pressure, etc. since they did just fill up the tires and that the traction control, abs system malfunction, all the warning lights that came on are just an issue with the actual sensor in the tire but the people here at the Plano store refuse to even look at it so I dont know what Im supposed to do. Will take it to a different Discount Tire in the morning and hope that they have more integrity. Still like Discount Tire, the company as a whole is alright, but had a very bad experience at this location.

Update: Although they stay very busy, they seem to be doing better than they used to. I just lowered my expectation.I was hoping the reviews were wrong and wanted to support my local DTS. I made an appointment this morning first thing for 12:15 pm. I picked out the tires online and came in and paid. They even told me Id be out of there in 45 minutes. I made the mistake of going next door for lunch because when I came back, my car was still sitting in the same spot. I inquired as to why my appointment time wasnt honored and found out I was in the queue. I question why they even bother with making appointments if you are just going in the arrival time queue anyway?!??!? They finally took my car back at 1:00 but considering this place is not that busy today, unacceptable! The people working there however were very nice.

The team at discount tires in The Colony TX are awesome, they truly are a team and it shows. Jonas took care of me over the phone and ordered my tires in, when my tires were received at the store, Jonas called me to set up an appointment for installation. My appointment was at 4pm and I met Jonas at the store I paid for the tires and he informed me I was receiving a mileage credit applied to my new tires for my old worn out tires. He said it would take 30minutes to install, then 15minutes later 4:15pm they had my car pulled up in the front an he said I was done. I have purchased tires from this store in the past and will continue to go back because of the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 star) service I always receive. Great job guy!! Keep it up.

The team at this location is top notch! Ben was very helpful and went above and beyond what I would have expected to get everything taken care of. Management and everyone in the front office were very helpful and polite. I no longer work or live near this location but I will make the short drive if I ever need them again because of the great customer service.

Worst experience. My tire got flat and tried to fix it. After an hour waiting, they ripped the tire sidewall off then tried to sell their tire to me.

Where the dummies go to buy overpriced tires. I found the same tires they quoted me on for almost $400 cheaper. They said they match prices but if you have them marked up that much initially then your out to get your customers so Ill pass.

Very helpful in helping me pick which tires and wheels to supplement for my vehicle instead of waiting for the others to arrive. Super great service! Im loving the addition to my car now.

I came in to get a new tire and get them rotated. Less than 24 hours later, my tire was going flat again. I was told I had a nail in another tire, but Im to thinking if you checked all of the tires when they were rotated wouldnt you have found that then? I can say this, I shouldve stuck with Firestone and wont come back here again!!!!!!

Fair warning, if you want to get your car back the way you dropped it off, I recommend going elsewhere. I dropped off an undamaged car and picked one up with a scuffed front bumper and a damaged clear bra. The shop of course took no responsibility and tried to place the blame on me. Even though the car was backed into the parking spot when dropped off with no giant black scrapes present.

I have always had a great experience here. They even gave me a discount when I was purchasing tires for someone in need at Christmas! Making an appointment is always helpful before you go if you cant wait, otherwise, there are a few stores or restaurants in walking distance.

This is the second time I’ve visited and they were awesome. They get me in and out fast, and they put the exact air pressure on each tire without me having to ask. My SO is extremely picky about any car place but Discount tire does not disappoint!

Had a flat tire that I drove on so it became worthless. Went in and got to choose tire from screen inside, pulled my car up, and replaced my tire while I was in vehicle. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Simple, quick, and tire seems 👍

I bought 4 new tires elsewhere and they had me in and out in less than 30 minutes including the mount and balance along with recalibration my tire pressure monitoring system. When I say Im using them over the dealer when it comes to my tires everytime I do mean EVERYTIME. A+

Had some trouble getting the tires delivered to the store when I pre-ordered on their website, so I had to make a second trip for installation. All turned out well in the end.... installation was fast and efficient.

I had a very deflated tire on the rear. They took care of me and it was all FREE. Great service! They worked really quick and they were very friendly.

So I needed my tires checked I knew they were getting low. The tech I cant remember his name (was like JP or some 2 letter) sorry bud. But he was great helped me with the air and also let me know how the tires are and what I needed to know to keep them going and what needed to be replaced. Outstanding service again. Got a bolt in the tire, could not fix, enacted the replacement warranty, installed, balanced, and went to mount.... And the problem. But here is why I like THIS discount tire. They stopped. They stopped, came and got me. Michael and I looked it, he allowed me to look at a couple things, do a test, make sure nothing was breaking, and after it was said and done all ended up good. But because they stopped, they did me a possible huge favor. Michael understood that I knew my truck, and after talking abbot it both agreed it was safe, but needs follow up to remain that way (torque lugnuts to keep seated). This is one of the reasons I keep going back to these guys.Discount Tire The Colony, keep up the great work.Thank you

6/25/20 I had a nail in my tire. I was an hour from home. They told me can’t drive, would ruin my tire and too dangerous. I was sitting inside to wait for patch/repair when we customers were told emergency closing and we had to all leave immediately. I asked about not driving, per their advisement, and I was told, “Sorry, closing for the day.” Lucky for me, NTB right next door and could help me... 2 1/2 hr wait soonest appt. So, as I’m waiting, Discount Tire employees locking up and leaving. Must be big time emergency. Prayers. 🙏🏼

Erik was great I came in to get my tire checked he said a razor blade was in it.I have a tire warranty with my vehicle he called them and took care of everything, even when he and the store was very busy never showed signs of being stressed!when he told the warranty company how much it was gonna cost the warranty company said they will pay a dollar less really they are cheap. I would give it a five-star but I had to wait 15 minutes to get a service rep. Once they got around to me it didnt take long and the representatives were courteous and professional. In all fairness I visited the store several times and Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a rep

Sam was very helpful, friendly, and fun. We only had a tiny screw in the tires tread, so we were only here for a few minutes. There was a line when we arrived and he helped to cut down the line as quickly as possible, which helped us since we were last in line.

I have bought tires from this Discount Tore for about 17 years now. They have always had great service and they know their stuff.

Good place to get a tire(s) if you call in advance and make sure they have your tire and make a reservation as wait times are a little crazy. Also, buying a tire shouldnt be like buying a car where there are 5 hidden fees that make the price go up 50%...this is all tire places, but still its really annoying to cinsumers

I initially ordered tires and created an appointment online. I was called a day or two after indicating that the tires I ordered were winter tires and their life would not last long in the state I live in. Understanding this, I asked the sales associate to assist me in finding a comparable priced tire to arrive prior to my appointment time at the end of the week. He indicated that my only choice were the tires that were in stock at the location, prices $20.00 more per tire than what I originally ordered. Frustrated, I told him to cancel the order and appointment while I researched other options.After searching Discount Tires website and found tires, in the price range and non-winter that fit my needs. The website also indicated that the tires could be delivered prior to the appointment. With this information, I called the store again and was told that any tires that I order off the website will be more than the quoted price because the customer also needs to pay for shipping, which can vary. I was again told that my only option was to purchase the tires in stock at $20.00 more per tire. Seemingly being out of options I chose the tires that were $20.00 more per tire and in stock at the store. Given the lengthy relationship that Ive had with Discount Tire as a customer, it wasnt very flexible in terms of options to purchase.

Staff was great. Got me in and out in a timely manner. Store manager Michael was super helpful. Definitely will return to this store when I need any other tire service.

Not a good experience. Went in for routine tire rotation. Tire tech found a nail in one tire (in the tread, not the sidewall) and said it could not be repaired with a plug and refused to use a patch for no stated reason. It was buy a new tire or nothing. I dont profess to be a tire guru, but I was raised in west Texas ranch country and this is not by a very long shot the first time Ive had a nail in a tire. This tire was successfully patched at another facility and now performs just fine. The tech either doesnt know his job or he lied in order to sell a tire. Judging from his demeanor and attitude during this unpleasant encounter, I think he lied.

Good place to buy tires. I would like to give it 4 stars, but last couple of times I went there, I had not so pleasant experience. Originally bought 4 tires for my car, but 1 had to be changed out due to non repairable puncture. 2 more need to be replaced due to worn out threads. Leaving with just 1 old tire. From my knowledge, I did ask them to see if not replacing last tire will cause my new tire to wear out faster as it was in front, and I was told it should not be that much wear out. But now I am into 6000 miles into 60,000 miles warranty and tire is worn-out more than half way. They rotated tires during tire replaced and did not note it on work order. Now they are blaming me that the tire is premature worn due to lack of tire rotation and are blaming me for my car having front end issue which is causing tire to wear out fast. Even going at high rated speed I have no problem and my wheel alignment is almost perfect. Not a good way to serve the customers. I have started taking one of my cars to Costco to replace tires. Hopefully I will have better luck with them. So if you get your tires installed with Discount Tires, make sure you keep your receipts as they couldnt find my last 3-4 service records.

I have purchased many tires over the years from several different tire shops including Discount Tires. Today I went to the Discount Tire in The Colony, TX and I am beyond impressed with Chris Pinion. I went in to get two tires on my SUV and they didnt have them in stock. Chris called and had them delivered in about an hour. Because I had to wait for the delivery, he had the tires put on my car in about 10 minutes. He went above and beyond any customer service I have ever experienced in my life. He was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, he was professional, and Chris was a bright spot in my day. Discount Tire is very lucky to have such an awesome Team Member working for them. Its people like Chris that keeps customers such as myself coming back to Discount Tire. Thank you so much Chris!!!

Scheduled my appointment for 830am to get my front tires replaced. Showed up at 820am and was back in my car before 840am with new tires. These folks rock!

Great service and great people, realized my tires had some heavy tread issues, went to get then replaced and was told that two of my lug nuts were stripped and that one of the lug nut studs broke. I can only assume it was the last garage I had work on them. Even with it not being their fault they got it fixed quick and got me set up with service at Brakes Plus to replace the stud free if charge.

They filled up my tires that lost pressure during this cold snap. They were fast and friendly.
