The worst rent a car place Ive ever been we couldnt return the car early no one was there even thou they have a sign open till 12 noon on Saturday and if you dropped off the car to another location they charge you extra so if you want to get ripped off go to hertz they are great at scammig people !!!!

We made a reservation for a rental car and they never told me they didnt accept ATM/debit cards with a Visa logo she said she did but never did. Than the car we rented was dirty it had bird poop all over the windows she did give us a coupon for a free wash but it wasnt our responsibility to clean it. They also never told us there was a toll free. I tried calling and was transferred to different people and than was hung up on. Had they told us that would be different and the amount taken out was a little ridiculous its only one toll from Hertz to where we went.

I came here to rent a car for four days in Springfield on a Saturday. It was only two people at the location since it was weekend and I had to wait 30 minutes to be served. But it was alright. The woman was very nice and knowledgeable. She gave me a nice car to rent and explained everything clearly to me about my rental agreement. I would come back here to rent a car in the future when I visit Springfield again.

Not good I was a little upset it wouldnt take my MasterCard debit. Ive been renting cars from Enterprise for the past 2 weeks no issues. Not everyone owns a credit card. On top of that just so you know Ive spent 800 on rental cars in the past 2 week. I also have my own car insurance.

Horrible customer service. After Renting multiple times over the past 2 months they made me feel like a 1st time renter. So many other options. They wanted 540 for a van when 1/2 mile down the road there only 333.. renters beware

Excellent service and great prices. Janet was amazing! She did an excellent job providing me with a vehicle and getting me on my way quickly. She knows her business. Alex, who brought me to pick up the rental car, was very sweet, professional and polite. It was a pleasure doing business with this company because of the employees! The car was perfect too. I would highly recommend this location for your car rental needs.

My entire experience with this place sucked. The customer service was terrible, any time I called I got put on hold or told to call back another day. My car was getting fixed so I had no option. I was calling because the rental needed an alignment Real bad & kept pulling to the side when driving. They never called back or switch my rental. Then a month later I got charged $330, for something they told me my insurance would cover, it did not. Maybe go to another hertz before going to this one.

Very unprofessional! The lady tried talking me into an upgrade for a trip to Canada, but the car reeked of fresh burned marijuana. She told me it wouldnt be bad if we just kept the vents on and windows down, seriously? After delaying us for 45 min, she said shed give us points to make up for it but never followed up after taking my phone number and email. This place is not the same as the airport locations, save yourself a headache and avoid this place at all costs!

My first and last time I will ever rent a car from the Hertz on Boston Rd in Springfield, Ma. Very unprofessional staff. Did not acknowledge me or anyone entering the place. The computer went down and one staff member fully read another customers credit card aloud over the phone. Then I set up a early return and no one was there. Never again !

Good price so far but they give me the car dirty outside and the fuel cap missing I think it only one person answer the phone taken care customers cleaning cars he was doing everything by his selfI think he need another person in the lobby to help him

First off car wasnt ready after two hours of my reservation time. Also, when I first made the reservation I was really happy with Hertz because I got a good deal on the car I needed for work. My military report date got changed last minute and I called to get clarification on how much more expensive it would be to drop the car off at the airport I needed to fly out of. I was told there would be an additional drop off fee of up to 50 dollars and thats it. When I turned the car in I was shocked to see that I was charged double the weekly rate I got when I made the reservation. I went on the Hertz website and filed a record review but it deleted everything I wrote and said I need to email hertz. I then wrote an email to the email that was provided and didnt get a response. Up until this experience Ive had good experiences with hertz but if this doesnt get resolved I dont want to make further investments with Hertz

I had a 9am appointment to be pick up. They picked me up at 930. I had scheduled this a week in advance and called to confirm on Saturday. I sat in the office until 1015am just to get put in for a car. Left the office at about 1030 and was almost 2 hours late for work. Never again will I go here.

Good price. Fast service. But give yourself 20 minutes or more just to refuel before returning the car. I refueled and the gas gauge did not move for at least 10 minutes. I never saw the gas gauge move. The employee, Janet, got offended when I said that rental car companies tamper with gas gauges. Janet said that some gas gauges need time to reset and said that maybe I did something to cause this problem such as leaving the key in the on position while refueling. I showed Janet my gas receipt and asked for receipt from hertz indicating that I returned the car with a full tank of gas. She refused and told me that we should wait for the gas gauge to reset. I didnt have time to wait. She told me she would continue to monitor the gas gauge ( to see if it moved) and let me know if I would be charged a refuel fee. She agreed to give me a receipt showing that I returned the tank on full but insisted that she would continue to monitor the gas gauge. In other words, it seems as though the gas gauge is rigged to force you to fill the car with gas until the nozzle clicks which is the only way of knowing that the tank is full. But then you need to give yourself plenty of time for the gas gauge to reset otherwise you may end up paying a refuel fee even after you filled the tank.
