My wife and I have been coming to this location exclusively for a couple of years now. The simple reason is customer service. Paul has come through for us on more than one occasion with a last minute rental.That alone would gain my loyalty but Paul is the consummate professional. Always multi tasking servicing cars, answering phones and dealing with customers both with and without reservations. And always with a refreshing positive attitude. Thanks again Paul for the great deal on the Challenger R/T! It helped make for a perfect long weekend. What a beautiful car and such a blast to drive! Too bad this isnt a New England winter car, otherwise there would soon be one sitting in my garage.I was that impressed.

The car that I rented was clean, spacious comfortable and great on mileage. All at a reasonable price. Paul at the service desk helped answered all of the questions I had. Paul also went out of his way to drop me off at the train station during a bad tropical storm after returning the car. Professional and client focused service.

Omg I am so not renting cars from this area might go and check the other place. Like yea the first guy that gave me the rental was awesome but when it was returning time that guy was unprofessional. Now its been 10 business days and I still havent received my deposit. They told me they gave it to me the same day I returned the car that is a lie. I been checking my account every day since I return the rental. Now they are giving me the run around fun fun.

They didnt have the keys to the Jeep I reserved so I got a different kind of car. It reeked of cigarettes and had cigarette burns on the interior. Employee at the desk was very nice, employee at the lot didnt wear a face mask.

Never rent a car from this place. I went to the store and they couldn’t find my reservation. I was able to show them the email and they charged me before hand. I opened up my bank account and showed him that they already received their money. The guy at the counter made me call a 1800 number to check on the reservation. The lady was obviously working from home and she sound like I woke her up from a nap. She was no help so I paid for the car again because I took a Lyft there and didn’t have a ride home. The man told me he would extend my time since I already paid for the car twice. I received a call saying I needed to return the car. I called customer service and explained to them what happened. I was on the phone for over an hour they weren’t able to fix it. Their suggestion was that I go back to the store and talk to the same person that I spoke with at the store. They told me they were going to charge my card an additional 250 which was 3 times as much as I originally paid. Stay away from this company!

I would recommend Avis because Paul called us to confirm our arrival time (as we were coming in off of the train) and he confirmed that our car was ready. Upon returning our car, he offered us a ride back to the train station. It was a very nice and friendly experience.

Rented twice in last 2 weeks. Great service from Paul. He runs a one man show. Great avis service with a real personal touch. I even got a complimentary ride to the student prince restaurant. BTW he is a new owner and not part of the previous poor reviews. I highly recommend his business.

Paul is the best, we initially took the car at Boston Avis d/t, they gave us a most uncomfortable car, and even though we told them that we are not happy, they insisted this is what they have and that is it. we passed at Springfield, and tried our luck at Pauls station. he is the best! he immediately made a few phone calls to customers, and even though wesaw it was not easy for him, he replaced the car to a wonderful FordExplorer. he definitely made our trip, and we are greatful for that. thank you Paul!

This place is the worst place to rent a car. The person who helped me was Paul who said he was the owner and was (using a nicer word then I want to) rude and disrespectful. Prepaid for a rental and couldnt use my debit card security deposit. He didnt even try to found a way to help me. A coworker also told me that she had the worse experience there also and goes to another avis because of the way he treated her. Stay away from there its not worth unless you want to be belittle and disrespected.

I have been renting from Paul Buchness at Avis since he started working at this Avis location. He is someone who I can rely on at all times to make sure that I have a car when needed. He is professional, courteous and always friendly. I rent from Paul sometimes a few times a week and have always had the utmost satisfaction. Absolutely the worst company to try and work with. Takes your money and then lets you know you dont qualify to rent a car after you have already prepaid and reserved online and are 2500 miles away from home, stranded and no where to go. Customer Service outsourcing partners are absolutely horrible on the phone, and sound robotic with their canned responses. They need to rethink their policies, as I will NEVER try and do business with them again.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!The elder attendant DOM is very unprofessional and rude. That is just the beginning!My sister handed him a Rush Card and he looked at it and threw it back on the counter and said good luck finding anywhere that will rent to you with that.Since I had a credit card I just put the rental under my name and added her as a driver. With an attitude he grabs the card and ID. He hands me papers and says sign here and sign here. I look and noticed it is for the condition of the vehicle. I tell him well I would like to inspect the vehicle before I sign off and say it is good. He says to me We arent enterprise, we do not have trash on our lot, but you are more than welcome to and throws the keys on the counter. I stand there for a second just astonished by this mans unprofessional behavior.I ask what kind of car is it and where is it? He said use the keys to beep it until you find it in the lot on the left somewhere. At this point my sister and I look at one another and are furious. I dont even know why we even rented from these assholes.I inspected the vehicle found several scratches outside and inside the vehicle. Went back inside and finished the process. My sister took off with the rental out of state for a few days. The rental was returned on a Sunday a day or two after the agreement which she called and asked if she could keep the car for extra days.My sister being the idiot that she is. Locked the keys in the car in the AVIS lot because she couldnt get the keys in the drop box. They finally contacted me on Thursday asking where the car is and it was on alert. I told them it has been in the lot since Sunday. I am confused as to why they wouldnt contact me for 4 days if the vehicle was due back Sunday but they wait until Thursday?My sister and the same attendant Dom had an exchange and he threatens to charge the 4 days it has been there and charge her double. He also stated I knew I should have not rented to you people.I contacted customer service at the beginning of this rental agreement about the poor customer service and again upon the return. HORRIBLE! I called the Avis location to try to come to some kind of agreement, DOM said I need to come down Friday, I told him I work 16 hours and was unable to, he says Well take it up with corporate and hangs up in my face.Customer service was no better. I emailed them asking for them to get in touch with someone at corporate office to reach out to me and all I ended up with was a letter in the mail stating they put me on the do not rent to list.My card was charged $600 for a rental that was kept from Thur-Sunday! I understand about the locksmith because supposedly Avis doesnt have a way into any of their vehicles because all the keys they have for each car is on that key chain. But it does not take 3 days for a locksmith to come out! I could of used my triple A! Just another way to up the charges on my account purposely as the attendant already had issues with us!If I use services, I intend to pay for them! But this is just ridiculous! We couldnt even come to an agreement, no response from corporate but a do not rent to letter, they stated it wasnt parked in their assigned parking area! Well if I would have known where that was since I had to go outside and look for the vehicle myself maybe it would have been parked there! But in all reality the vehicle was supposed to be returned on a Sunday and they dont try to contact me until Thursday about it? I guess they werent too concerned!BEWARE! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE! IF THIS IS WHAT THEY ALLOW THEIR EMPLOYEES TO GET AWAY WITH, YOU ARE BETTER OFF AT ENTERPRISE!

Tried to rent car. Pick up time 1:00. Time they close (on a Saturday) 1:00. Rescheduled to next day, told I was unable because my credit with Equifax was no good. (I HAVE CLEARED MY BAD CREDIT YEARS AGO) BUT they had already taken out of my account. No rental... when does money get put back on my account? They dont know and hand me a card from Equifax. Could take weeks. I cant give a good recommendation for Avis Car Rental at La Quinta Hotel Springfield MA
