We broke down and needed a tow thinking we just needed a new battery. The tow company recommended we take it to My Mechanic so they could check the alternator just in case. Glad we did. The alternator and battery needed to be replaced and we opted to get our belts done as well. It was done within a few days and while all auto repairs come with a hefty price tag, I feel comfortable with the amount we paid for the work. After pickup, we were concerned with some shaking in the car. We took it right back and Wally got it checked out quickly. He explained the car needed to relearn its idle and he tried to hook it up to his system to do it for us, but he couldnt. He told us it would relearn after a bit of driving and sure enough he was right. Car drives great so far. We are new to SF and didnt know who to go to for car repairs, happy to say that we found a good spot. Thanks for everything.

My wifes van tire went flat... and right in the vicinity. They gladly assisted her with a quick inflation and wasted no time to investigate the matter. By the time I arrived they were fixing what was discovered, a punctured tire.The service was quick, courteous, reasonable cost and overall a pleasant experience. Thank you!

Quoted 150 to flush my radiator at another place. They did it for half that. I also watched Wally have one of his guys help a parolee fix his bicycle. Probably happens on occasion due to their location. Wally was kind to him which i didnt expect. Another gal was in there that knew nothing about cars and he didnt take advantage of her in anyway. My first time there but they deserve a good review.

First time costumer turned into a lifetime customer! Very honest and is for their costumers. No b.s very straight forward with what you need done. For someone who doesnt know alot, I am afraid of how some could take advantage. I felt informed about everything happening. Definitely will recommend to anyone looking for a mechanic to call home. Also they have financing that is so convenient for unexpected car issues.

Took some time to trouble shoot the issues, but im sure its not easy to diagnose a cracked distributor cap. Especially when it starts fine 60% of the time.

Whenever I’ve need to take my car or truck to my mechanic. They have had no delay getting me in and friendly! from oil change to brakes to power steering. Very good at letting me know what’s wrong and price before fixing anything major (one of my biggest fears with Vehicle maintenance). Completely happy, please keep up the good work guys and gals.

The best! I can attest to, on separate occasions, a job well done on a wheel bearing, a major oil leak, and even an elusive piece of road tar stuck to my tire making noise. My husband needed our car to be towed to this place. We had it there over the weekend:They over charged my husband for a starter and a TC (which we never asked for). They lied and said our car can start but it won’t move. When we get it it doesn’t NOT start and worse of all they left our radio on the entire time and that drains the battery.As well asl trying to belittle my husband because he didn’t know how credit score and decided to be jerks. We just don’t know it but they belittled him because they ASSUMED he doesn’t have one.Never coming here again.

I have always taken all of my vehicles, to Wally and wont go anywhere else. My car has several issues back to back, and wally even gave me a loaner car since having 3 children its hard not having a car. I refer all my friends and coworkers to him. He is trustworthy and always upfront with what has to be done and what will need to be done in the future.

I started bringing my car here based on my roommates recommendation. I almost always need them to look at something besides just changing my oil, and they always call and let me know prices and what needs to be done and what could be done or could wait before they do any additional work. Last time, they were very concerned that I was going to walk home after dropping my car off (it was winter). Since I lived extremely close it was fine, but I appreciated their concern.

This place is great. They give you a ride if needed (im sure distance may change this aspect) and were super helpful and nice! They found out what was draining my battery and did some extra little things I had brought up with no charge. Their parking lot is a little cramped but theres not much they can do about that.

You cant find a more honest shop. They will tell you if a repair is necessary or not! They dont try to sell you on repairs you dont need. They have top notch, certified mechanics and they back their work. As a retired mechanic, I would recommend them to anyone!

These guys are honest and kind and they tell you the truth. They wont tell you that you need any repairs that you dont actually need and they will even let you know which repairs are priority and which can wait a bit. They are thorough and always friendly

I have taken my vehicle here for an oil change and inspection before long trips a few times. The last two times i have done this i have been told my vehicle is good to go and both times my vehicle has broke down leaving me stranded. This lack of a proper inspection has cost me hundreds in towing and repairs.

GREAT people! Wally and Heidi have been fantastic to my family and I. They are always very courteous and seem willing to help in every way possible. Theyve offered multiple times to give me a ride home while my car was being worked on and greet me by name when I come in, which isnt often. I cant honestly say that Ive ever felt they were screwing us over. Their prices are decent, about the same as anywhere else in town, the service and honesty sets them apart. It would be nice if they werent always busy, but this is obviously testament to their outstanding service. Lifetime customer here.

Such a rip off!! I took my kids car there for an alternator replacement and they charged me over double the cost of a new one. When I asked for an explanation, I was informed by the owner that they can charge whatever they want for whatever they do. That is all fine, do that but dont expect repeat customers. The service was horrible, the serpentine belt was not replaced as I was told it was and in my personal opinion the owners are just out to screw people over! Ill never go here again and Ive tried to warn as many people as possible. Some people might have great luck and maybe I was just caught in their cross hairs on that repair but whatever the case Id steer clear of this place any way I could!

Friendly and fast, plus they dont come back to you with a list of things theyd be happy to fix. The location is a bit tricky, as theyre right by an interstate exit that can fill up quick. Open on Saturdays, but dont try your luck walking in, the secrets out!

I had left my car for repair, and mistakingly came back 15 minutes after their closing time. Not knowing what to do without a car, I took a taxi home. I called the owner to explain that I had intended on taking my car home the day of the repair, and just missed the closing time.The owner, with his supreme (as in Ive never recieved better) customer service, asked for my address, came and picked me up, and took me to my car free of charge.Ive never been so well treated and taken care of from a business. 10/10 never going anywhere else for repairs again.

Were from out of town too my silverado there and found wheel bearing was out walley and the staff there were very friendly definately go back.

Wally was fantastic to deal with and at lese half the cost of the for dealer for my 2013 ford fiesta, Was a simple relay that needed replaced and was keeping the car from starting and the cost of service was very fair.

I take all my cars to My Mechanic and have exceptional service every-time.

Had a brake job not sure if they did those right Im sure theyre new, but wanna let everyone know sure enough when I left the lot my lug nuts on the backside were not even tightend and one fell off and turned around and provided no empathy for that and didnt deal with them anymore.

They only want your money and could care less about the service. Out of all my years Ive never faced such cheap and greedy mechanics. I am never coming back to this mechanic again. I suggest you do research and get reviews before bringing your car to any mechanic.
