The repairmen was knowledgable and helped repair my issue. I paid for the repair while he was at my house via mobile card reader. A few weeks later, I get another bill for the same amount I already paid. I called in and discussed and proved that I paid already. They said they would take care of the issue. Today I checked the mail and there is another bill for the same amount. So frustrating, now I get to call in again and have the exact same conversation I had last time. Its reasons like this that I will not be a repeat customer.

The service was good and the repair man fixed the problem right away. He was very knowledgeable. The only complainant I have was his personal hygiene. Greasy hair, shirt hanging out, dirty clothes, shaggy beard. I just feel when your representing a company you need to look professional. Its a huge reflection towards the company.

My experience with Sears has been nothing but horrible. I have been without a washer for almost 2 months and not to get a replacement for another month. No I did not get a part and no a repair man did not come to install it, so I am highly disappointed in this company. And do you think I can get anyone to call me back to get an answer to my questions, NO

When you call they will not give you a price of labor costs. My stove ignitor went out on my gas Kenmore. I told them what was wrong that it would not heat up and was probably the heating element ignition because no flame at the bottom and could not light it hey told me the service fee was about $120 and that would go towards fixing the problem. Didn’t give any idea of labor. They quoted me $448.67 to fix it when they came out. I did not end up fixing it with them. Feel very deceived by the conversation with the rep when called for pricing. I ended up paying $120 to know what was wrong with it when I told them at the beginning what was wrong with it. . I ended up calling another company who fixed it for $275 with tax. Will never call this company again very over priced and will not even quote their labor costs at the beginning when asked. The rep when called said you can schedule between 1 pm and 5 pm and ask the repair guy to come after 4:30 pm. This was a lie the repair guy said no and ended up coming around 1 pm! Never will I call this company for any of my repair needs in the future. They are not accommodating at all or about the customer. For what they charge you can buy a new appliance.

Once you get through to a person they are very helpful and nice. Someone was able to come see my washing machine within 24hrs however the parts took time to come in. They delivered the parts to my house so as soon as they got in I was able to call and have someone out at my house the next day to fix my washing machine! The mechanics (guys who came to fix it) were very nice and respectful, even took their shoes off so as to not trek in mud and snow through my house! It does cost $100 to have someone come to the house unless your appliance is still under warranty or extra coverage (always recommend getting the extra coverage). However the $100 will go towards the overall bill if they end up fixing it!

Repairman was very nice. He was efficient and knew what he was doing. However, we are not impressed with your appointment system. We were told between 8 and 5. We had to stay home all day and didnt get his call until 5 that he was 30 miles away. There has to be a better way to make appointments so the customer doesnt waste a whole day just waiting for the repairman to get here. He was just swamped and it wasnt his fault.

Horrible overall customer experience. Repairman came out for a washer issue and didnt appear to be very knowledgeable as he had to call someone else for advice. After a couple hours of working on the washer, he informed us that he needed to order a part and the bill would be over $500 and need a return trip, which would mean I would need to take more time off from work since their time frames are very generic.So I submit my second vacation request at work so I could be home when the tech was scheduled to arrive (1:00-5:00 was the scheduled time frame). It gets to be shortly after 4:00 and we have received no word from the tech yet and decided to call for an ETA around 4:45. At this time we were told that there was an issue and the tech would be at our house around 5:45. The time frame came and went and called in again around 6:45. This rep that we talked to originally stated that there was no information that we even called in and there were no notes about us being told that we were given a 5:45 ETA. We were then told that we would receive a call within the hour with more information on when the tech would arrive. That hour came and went and still no word. We then called back and informed them that we are no longer wanting their service and demanded a full refund for the entire service call. We were told that they would look into the refund and will be getting back to us on this.I will never use this service again.

I had someone come to fix my washer on a Monday and tried to wash clothes in it after the repair person left. It was not fixed. And when I tried to call back in that same day to have them come back, I was told the repair person would call me back. He didnt. So then I call in first thing on Tuesday and am told no one can come until Thursday - and this is after fighting with a recorded voice on the phone and two more people...just to get an appointment. Never again!

We were scheduled for a time window of 8a-12p. We received a call around 9:30 that the service tech wouldnt arrive until 12pm-1pm. At 12:45 we received another call it would be another 20-30 minutes. He ended up not getting to our home till almost 2pm. There need to be a better way to schedule a time window versus and 4 hour time block that they still cant show up for. Everyone is busy and we cant sit around waiting all day for our scheduled appointments to be late! Although, Once he did arrive, he was nice, polite and it didnt take long for our repair to be completed.

“Repair” is a huge stretch for what they do. This couldn’t be more than false! We had our washer and dryer for 8 months before it completely stopped working. We have to dry all of our clothes in at least 3 cycles before we can pull it out and it will still be damp and our washer isn’t getting the soap off our clothes or getting our clothes clean (they come out smellier than when we put them in)! We wash our washer out every other week on the “clean” cycle with bleach. We’ve also tried plain hot water and washing machine cleaner. Nothing has worked. We’ve made sure our dryer vent is clean as well. When I called about this they told me they think the sensor is broken and they would send someone. Guy came out and didn’t even touch the sensor or look at it and said that our dryer duct is dented. Called again and they said they were going to charge me to send someone out. I said heck no you’re not. Our washer and dryer are now going to the dump, sears wouldn’t give us any refund, and I will NEVER attempt to use this service again or recommend them to anyone ever. If I could give them zero stars I would. Can’t even believe the lack of professionalism/customer service.

The first service tech arrived on time. It took him almost three hours to diagnose the problem. He ordered parts, and said that it would take ten days to get back. Ten days later, a different tech showed up. He replaced the parts, but lost 2 screws and left the top of the dryer unattached. He did not connect the vent hose and left the wrappers for the parts laying on the floor in the laundry room. The dryer was left where it was(pulled out from the wall). He said that we were the ones that lost the screws. On the first call, I paid $316+ (which is a little expensive) and was told that was for the entire repair. the second tech tried to bill us another $160 for that call. Luckily we had the receipt that stated complete repair. Initially I was fairly pleased with the service, but the guy that came out the second time, made sure that I will never call Sears for service again. I could have almost bought a new dryer for what this repair cost. Maybe that is the point? I should have just asked for the parts needed and ordered them myself. I could have saved $100 just on parts.

I dont know how to answer this request. I turned in the bench tool---it is a thickness plainer-- for its annual checkup and fine tuning. Eventually it got worked on, sort of. When I went to pick it up we went over what had been done to service it---not much. Found that a broken part had not been replaced, and the blades had not been sharpened. At the request of the service department, I left it. About a week later I got a call informing me that they could not get the parts needed to fix it so I would get a new one at no cost. It has now been over a week, and 2 visits to the store without resolution. I was informed that an insurance authorization was needed and had not been received. So, my maintenance plan so far is not being honored.

Had sears some out for an annual maintenance inspection on a washer and dryer we bought back in 2015 from them. It was quick and easy to schedule an appointment. The day of the appointment they were in time and friendly and very knowledgeable. I even got info on my refrigerator and dishwasher that I did NOT purchase through them. It was a great and very helpful experience with Sears.

Person was very kind, explained everything, checked things thoroughly. Today the parts were delivered that he found needed replacing-looking forward for someone to come to put them in.10/05/16 The repair man was here, put instillation in the inside of the door, it was done in a timely manner, he was very nice. thank you.10/10/16 So far the freezer has not collected frost on the top of the door or inside leading over to the light.

When I called to schedule the appointment, I asked for a two hour window instead of the four hour time frame. The agent said that was no problem to schedule that since I had to drive cross town. When my appointment confirmation came via email, it was back to a four hour block. When the tech called me, he said he would be there at 2:00 pm so I drove home right away. He showed up at 2:15. It took him about 20 minutes to diagnose and replace a supposedly broken switch on the dryer door at the tune of $200 + . He said I could get 50% off the bill if I bought into the service plan for $49 + per month. No thanks. I asked him if he could repair a broken clip that holds down the control panel. Couldnt do that since he said he didnt have any. He wouldnt even replace the light bulb unless I paid extra for it. Really? I will NEVER call these people again.

Service technician was fine. He completed the repair quickly and accurately. Plus, offered several pointers on how we could use our appliance more efficiently. He did a fine job.However, whole process was unacceptable. It took over 6 weeks and several calls to Sears when parts had not arrived to notify them and change the appointment. This was not at all user friendly-I should not have to notify them the parts had not arrived, they should know that through their tracking system.Also, the hassle of setting up a Google account to do your survey is ridiculous.

First I was told my repairman would be here between 8-12. Sorry- but who does that anymore? Not even the cable guy makes you reserve 1/2 a day for them. Then he showed up at 11:55. AFTER I had told the person I made the appt with and the repairman who I had called earlier in the day that I had to leave by 12! He found the problem but had to order the part- excuse me? This is a Kenmore washer I bought at sears- that is the reason I got a sears repairman- you dont have the part?! (Pretty basic part- nothing exotic). My part was here in less than a week but a repairman couldnt get scheduled for another 2 weeks from the original date of service. 2 weeks without a washer for a family of 5- slightly inconvenient.This is my second bad experience with sears. The first time was with a dishwasher- guy came out to figure out why the dishes were not getting clean- talked a lot but did nothing to actually fix the dishwasher. The people on the phone also try and talk you into a ridiculous monthly fee for a yearly plan- lets hope my appliances are more reliable than they want me to believe. Sears is expensive and unreliable. I will never use them again.

The repair man was prompt and professional. I am pleased with the repair so far however, I am very disappointed in the quality of the product (Kenmore Elite Bottom Freezer Refrigerator). It is ridiculous to me that a three year old refrigerator would need a compressor replaced.

Not bad except the Sears tech forgot to clean and inspect the bottom front grill in the front of the refrigerator which other techs have always done. We can do it ourselves, but we dont have the type of vacuum he did. We didnt realize until after he left as it was full of lint and dust and that he had not removed it and cleaned under the front.

Generally speaking Im happy with the service but this repair technician was very unprofessional. Used inappropriate language several times during the repair. If I could control which technician came to my house I would make sure that it was never the one I had for this service call. After the piece was installed the dryer made more noise than before so I called back into and requested them not send the same technician to come look at what is causing the noise. But they sent the same guy again and he added new rollers and now the dryer is even louder than before and I let him know and now he is trying to actually fix the issue. I dont hold out a lot of hope on this one so I will likely being calling back again and again requesting they send someone different.

The technician that we had today was the most thorough that we have had. We have had many issues with our refrigerator, which is not even 4 years old, and this gentleman did an excellent job. I cant say that about other repairman in the past, but this one did great.

The repair experience was well taken but the service thru the company before the repair was completed and was extremely aggravating to say the least......paying for a service is one thing but to be put off with lame excuses is another. Then for a simple battery replacement we were put off for another two or three weeks after already waiting much longer than could be expected.....then to have someone tell us that we had to wait for our service because the serviceman had to much overtime and some customers had to wait for a later date..... more aggravation was that we could have just as easily picked up the battery that had went bad from the store but the service plan wouldnt allow it. My Husband is 72 years old but might not be technically knowledge to do this an insult for sure for him. Even more was when we were told we could pay someone to mow our 4 acres and be reimbursed $200.00. I was transferred to another person after being told I would get papers for this reimbursement and when the call was transferred and a lady came on the line, I told her what I wanted and she hung up on me......needless to say being satisfied with this service policy is not as it should be for what it costs in the long run.......

Third visit on my dishwasher. After ordering parts three times now, twice the wrong part, they have discovered under the bad part are other bad parts. I have been sitting months with a non-functioning smelly dishwasher as Sears tried to figure out what part they need. As they only come to my area every two weeks, I get to wait two weeks between each part that they ordered wrong, for them to come again, only to repeat the scene. I think they need to rethink something.....

The process of scheduling maintenance is not user friendly. The first person I talked to barely spoke English and could not understand that I was trying to schedule preventative maintenance provided by my warranty. I finally hung up and called back on another day. I was finally able to schedule the maintenance to occur between the hours of 1 to 5 pm, requiring me to take the afternoon off from work to accommodate Sears scheduling parameters. The repair man did not show up until 7:30 pm. Not only did I waste an afternoon of vacation time to accommodate Sears ~ I ended up having to cancel my evening plans to get this done. I will never purchase a service agreement plan from Sears again.

Scheduled the service technician to arrive between 1 and 5 pm, so I took the afternoon off from work. Technician showed up at 4:45, said the problem was likely the drain pump, but he wouldnt be able to fully diagnose the problem. He canceled the call, asked me to reschedule and left.Service was a waste of time. Seek help elsewhere.

I was without a working microwave from March to May mostly due to the technicians lack of desire to diagnose it properly. After 1 incorrect part (installed and still didnt work) he finally decided to do some lifting and took the unit off the wall to discover a different part was broken. Ordered that part - waited for it to be delivered and then waited for tech to return to install - which he worked and hammered and cussed under his breath and then broke the new part and had to reorder it....I went around and around with Sears to AVOID HIM again - a new tech came out and installed it within minutes. Thankfully its now working!
