It was just okay. My toes did not last long they started chipping day 3. Maybe it was due to getting white which I never do or only getting one coat of color then the top coat which I am not used to. It was a Saturday and kind of busy so maybe they were just rushing.

Helen is really great and is always professional. She rarely makes mistakes but is quick to fix them if she does. Been coming here on and off for years.I dont go here any more because on my last visit my nails kept getting messed up WHILE I was there and when I asked for them to get fixed they still chipped within two days.

Would recommend another place. Called and was told one price, yet charged for another in store. Someone hand wrote a tip in on receipt and owner said it was me when can clearly see a change in all numbers. Was very rude on the manner as well.

DO NOT COME HERE! Seriously... had a no chip manicure done last week which they outrageously charged me $40 DOLLARS for that looks like dirt. It chipped off within a week and changed colors. I came back asking for a refund or to have them redone and the guy said no and that “everyone knows that about white nails” umm..??? You could’ve told me that! Wouldn’t even get up from the chair to come look at my nails. He was just sitting in the chair with his phone. AWFUL.

I am very disappointed with this salon. I came here earlier today and the staff was rude, uncleanly, and over all disrespectful. The manager sat in a chair on his laptop with his shoes off, he did not get up to check us in or even to greet us. Many of the nail techs did not wear a mask. The only person who we loved there was joy, she deserves better. The whole experience was just uncomfortable and gross. Joy if you are reading this, you are extremely talented keep up the good work. to everyone else, figure it out. lol

Very clean & staff was very friendly - but half of my nails starting chipping within 3days & i feel like i could have done a better job. I got a no-chip & was charged an extra $10 to take off my old nails.. which I only had 5 on because I started taking them off at home. I paid a good amount money for nothing. Disappointed.

Got the most basic acrylic set and got charged $65, the shape was completely off and after I left, the polish was so bad and glue was left all over my cuticles...

BEWARE!! New DISHONEST management!! Theyll either overcharge you or forge a $10 tip if you left the space blank on the receipt!! Make sure you draw some lines or write CASH in the tip space... or simply pay in cash!!

Went there today and my experience was wonderful! The salon is very clean. Jim did a great job on my ombré nails. They also did a excellent job on my pedicure! Will definitely come back.

I’ve been steadily going to K and K over the past 2 years- never a bad experience. I live in Chicago but still make a trip out here to get my nails done. I always get gel, and my nails never chip. At my recent visit, I got a new set and was surprised to see my bare nails were actually pretty healthy underneath. I highly recommend.

Jimmy the owner has been doing my nails for 8 years and he has never given me a set that I didnt absolutely love! I like my nails long and dramatic and there isnt anyone else that can make them a smooth coffin shape that I love! Also his wife is amazing at pedicures too at their other salon! I Never go anywhere else for my nails!

This place is TERRIBLE!! It’s DIRTY and you have rude staff. The owner is very arrogant! The staff is more worried about playing on their phone and sitting in the chairs that they do not sanitize. The older guy has no idea what he is doing. I wish I would have taken a pic of my nails the 1st time and again after they had to fix them. A week later i had to go somewhere else and get my nails done yet again due to the polish chipping, breaking and coming off. Save your money and time and go elsewhere you will thank me later!

Service was okay. Felt like she was in a rush. Now that I’ve really looked at my nails, the sides aren’t thoroughly painted and the tips on some aren’t either. She also hit the side of my finger with her tool and gave me a little cut which is fine, but I just wish she would’ve taken her time. I’m all for supporting smaller businesses, but not when I feel like they’re trying to get me out as a money tag and not a customer.

I literally walked in and asked for a fill in. I was the 3rd person in there and guy at the front desk was so rude and unprofessional with his comment. He pushed me right out the door. On to the next.

Pedicure was supposed to be relaxing and it was not! The whole experience wasnt enjoyable. The guy that did my nails seemed to be in a rush. I had got the most expensive package of $55 which includes 3 different lotion/scrubs. My friend was next to me getting same package. The guy that did my nails was buffing so fast that he cut me 2 times on top of my foot. I said oww.. and he looked at me like I did something wrong, not even a sorry. Remaining pedicure the cuts hurt as lotions were applied. He started with the 1st scrub.. rubbed foot a lil, then did 2nd lotion and right into the 3rd. Wrapped a warm towel over the lotion and put my feet in parrafin wax. Which he didnt even place my feet properly in, so wax was not being applied to foot. Requested a new bag and 2nd one was burning hot. At this time notice my friend who is still getting a massage with 1st step of the scrub. I brought to managements attention that the guy was rushing and hurt me and nothing was said or done. The guy then made me feel even more awkward as he shook his head at me and can tell he didnt even want to finish my pedi now that i mentioned he was rushing. My feet are not even smooth after the pedi as he didnt do job properly. My friend had tears in her eyes as her paraffin wax was super hot as well. And not only did she have a longer pedi with a full massage she also didnt have towelwrapped until later when lotion settled in. Spoke to owner when paying and he said he talked to the guy and to not make a scene with customers. That he would do $5 off. Idk what $5 does when the whole experience was not relaxing nor are my feet smooth. And i left with 2 cuts!! If anything, felt owner should of gave me a complimentary pedi to come back or discounted my pedi by alot. But how it was handled does not make me want to come back nor would i recommend this place. Very unhappy with serivce.

I come for a wax the lady doesnt understand when i told her that the wax was to hot she continue and burn my eye worse experience ever. Avoid this place

If I could leave a 0 star I would. This place was dirty and has some rude staff. I came in for a no chip manicure and a staff member put my entire hand into the solution (acetone). She did not check up on me until 10 minutes later and by that point, I told the staff member next to me that I cant do it anymore--> Keeping my hands in the solution. When the staff member came back she reprimanded me about needing my hands to be wet in the solution and I told her I wont because it was hurting my hand.She then took my hands and very roughly removed my no chip. At that point, I said I was finished. She then yelled at me in front of the entire salon saying she isnt a mind reader and that if I wanted my nails to be wrapped I should have said something.I went to another nail salon to fix my now brittle, dry nails. The new salon tried to fix my nails but because they were so brittle from the acetone we had to cut them super short.Never going there again!!!

I stopped in here randomly and I LOVED it. Super clean, the staff were all nice, my manicure was the best I’ve had in a long time. I wish I lived closer to make this my regular place!

I just moved into the area and have tried other salons near by. K&K has been my favorite! It is a very clean and relaxing environment. The person who did my nails took his time and made sure my nails were perfect. Only reason why I didn’t give them a 5 star is because I wish they had a few more color choices for a regular manicure.

Treated myself and my two girls to a nails night (a manic, a pedi, and a full set no-chip acrylic), this was a great place to go! Very friendly and happy staff, showed concern for our satisfaction multiple times throughout the service, made sure we were satisfied, thought of all the courtesies. This is our new go to place!

I had a great experience. I called about 15 min before I got there and they had no wait. It was a Saturday afternoon. They signed me in and sat me down right away when I got there. Very nice massaging chair. The guy that did my pedicure was very thorough and knew what he was doing. The massage felt amazing. I had a normal pedicure. Also a man. He also did a great job and my nail polish hasn’t chipped off yet. I did sit in the dryer for 25 min before I left. Overall, it was quiet and I didn’t feel like I was rushed.

My kids took me here for my birthday. The guy that did my nails was a little rough when trimming my cuticle but nails turned out awesome. He doesnt talk at all, didnt even tell me his name. The girl that did my kids nails was very nice. I think she came to sit by us because she was waiting for a tip though because she sat in from of us on her cell phone while the gentlemen finished my nails. Not really inteacting with customers.

Ive been here about 4 times in a row now. Very nice and clean. Staff is always friendly and they do a very good job. Much better than other nail shops in the area.

Very caught off guard. Went in for a powder dip for my nails. Selected the color. Started with one technician and then 5 minutes later abruptly directed to move to another seat by another technician. The feeling was “we’re busy” - MOVE - so I can do your nails. During the powder dip this round the technician took short cuts with grooming my nails followed by poor layering of the powder followed by a shirt cut with omitting tools to gloss the powder coat, rather he was in a rush and went straight to some light filing of the top of my nail and straight to a clear coat. My physical nails are uneven, the powder coats are as well. I was confused as to why he was doing some of the steps that he was differently. I opted not to say anything until the end so I could talk to the owner. When I explained what happened and requested that I not pay full price I was met with the staff jumped my at me followed by a customer jumping on board to belittle me in the situation. I will NEVER return to this dump and thief reckless work.

Loved K&K before they changed owners.... my sister got her nails done recently (acrylics) and they broke the 3rd day for doing nothing. They were so thin.

I love this place. I actually enjoy getting my nails done now. The shop is cute and well maintained and I always leave happy.

The best nail tech is Kimmie, she does a beautiful job and takes her time. Fair prices, clean and pretty salon. Hygiene is great, and Tvs tunes to the news/ daytime tv. My go-to for pedicures!

I’ve tried a lot of different nail salons and most of the time they are not consistent but k&k never ever disappoints me! From pedis to manis from even waxing...they are the BEST around!

Worst experience!! Will never come back!! Waited an hour with a friend to get in. Waited patiently, once I got in my friend was sitting next to waiting patiently to get kicked out of the chair for someone else who was a walk in as well. Then once I was done they started to do the other ladys nails until I spoke up for my friend and said something. After I said something they took my friend right away.Quality of the polish, I probably could have done better at home. Theres polish all along my skin and just looks awful. Worst money Ive spent by far for my nails.

The original guy did a great job on my wifes feet but when the lady came to paint her nails she redid the cuticles and ripped my wifes nail and made it bleed and its now day 3 and its still hurting her. Never happened before but dont think we will be returning.

This place was so much better when it was on by the previous owners who sold the salon less than a year ago I got a full set of nails by the previous owner and I went for my first fill 2 weeks ago. The polish came off the first day with the no chip so I had to go back. They ruined my new set by filing some of my nails too narrow and two nails completelySlainted. I also had a pedicure and it hurt. He stabbed me with the clippers twice. I will not return and will go back to the woman who used to own this salon. She rocks every time with no issues.

Went in for a polish change and my feet started chipping the next day, when I went back in for them to correct the problem the man was rude when I explained to him what happened and then the lady was even ruder that actually did the polish over. She was rushing and nasty with her responses when I asked her about why didnt the young lady that did my feet the first time know the issue, since she is claiming the reason why my feet started chipping was because of my real nails? She just left and did not put any shoes on my feet, so I wont mess up the polish until it drys. I would NEVER go back or recommend them to anyone. Just because I wasnt a paying customer this time around you wanted to rush and treat me as if my problem didnt matter....

Loved my 1st experience at K&K. Helen tpok her time and mafe sure she didnt miss a beat. I tried the dip powder on a full set and it turned out very very pretty.

I love the fact that they have liners in the pedi bowls. The liners are changed and the bowl is cleaned after every person.

Owner is a nice lady, but some rude employees.I went in to get a fill in and pedicure and the lady I was assigned for a fill in seemed to be having a bad day and took it out on me. She Was very rude, pulling my nails, made one of my fingers bleed, and after she paint my nails with regular polish she put a top coat that was no-chip. She then began scraping the polish off without explaining that she made a mistake. I had to ask for someone else to paint my nails because I felt she was being rude intentionally at this point. Then when the owner came over to begin painting my nails she had to explain to me why she was scraping the polish off my nails. Its was a bad experience , horrible customer service, and I would never go back.

Went in to get a pedicure and manicure no chip... Make a long and horrible story short my No Chip was still wet and when I told James he did not care he was mad because I was mad that he took a plug off of my feet. Then had the nerve to ask me to pay $80 for the bs he did... Needless to say, I didnt pay a dime. This was the worst experience of my life and I will never recommend anyone to go there. They better pray to God I dont get a infection because if I do they will get hit with a lawsuit. soon I figure out how to post these pictures I am
