Called around to see where to take my care after it died on me. Mike told me to take the car in and he wouldn’t charge me to look at it. He even advised me to make sure to get my tow through my Insurance so I wouldn’t have to pay to get it towed there. When he called me the next morning to tell me what the fix would be, he gave me multiple options to try and help me out and make it as easy for me as possible, even advising on seeing if My warranty would cover it when most places would want the money for themselves. I didn’t end up getting My car fixed here because i decided the fixing cost outweighed what the car is worth now but Mike did not charge me anything at all to tell me what was wrong with my car. As a girl, mechanics are always scary and I’m always scared they’ll try and take advantage of me because I don’t know much about cars but Mike was awesome and explained everything. I’ve been looking for a mechanic close to my house that I can trust and is reliable and I have definitely found it. I appreciate him taking his time to look at my car. If you’re looking for a mechanic, I definitely recommend.

What can I say that already hasnt been said on this review board lol. This was my first time coming to Mike & He has got a customer for life! He is one of a kind, really nice dude. He fixed my car up super quick, changed my brakes and oil.. as well as fix my oil and breaking fluid leaks. and replacing a few parts. Only took him one day. He also changed out my windshield wipers because they were trash which was a super nice surprise. Also these things were cheaper than anticipated which was also a nice surprise. I called Mike when someone decided they needed my catalytic converter more than I did. Not only did Mike meet my expectations he blew right through them! My truck has never run better. Speed, experience, quality at a price that was far more than fair. I normally work on my vehicles myself. Not anymore! I happened to be near Harrisons shop on a trip reasonably far from my house and my car started acting up. I called around and he said that he could take a quick look at it and tell me if he thought I could make it back home. I popped by, he took my car for a spin, and let me know what repair I needed and that I would be able to make it back. Im not a professional, but I know enough about cars to be picky about mechanics. I have brought 2 vehicles to Mike. Both times he has fit me in and worked around my schedule. He has communicated about my cars needs but not pushed any extras He is a good honest mechanic, that does great work at a great price. Both times he got my car in at a fraction of the price others quoted me. I will continue to bring my cars to him.Additionally, Mike meets me where Im at. He knows I have a little car knowledge, so he talks to me like I have a some knowledge. Don’t think twice, give Mike a call.I work from home and needed my car repaired asap. Mike was a lifesaver. Within an hour, he came to my house to pick up my car and bring it back to his shop. The issue ended up being complicated, and required a pretty expensive part. It took a few extra days to ship, but Mike ordered the part at a fraction of the price and drove the car to the dealership for installation then back to my house. He was also thorough in checking fluids, plugs, etc. and offered to take care of that as well for an additional charge. He gave me quotes for everything. So about a week and a half ago I pulled into a 7-Eleven and my steering stopped working. I figured it was low steering fluid. Looking at my car I realized we had a much bigger problem and I called Harrisons mobile auto repair for a tow and of course the mechanic work. I was really concerned leaving my car unattended and unlocked especially in the city. They were so fast to get to my car so that it was not unattended and I was very appreciative because they called me to let me know that they had the car so I wasnt having to worry about my car being unattended and unlocked. It was worse news than I expected unfortunately my rack and pinion had completely snapped. This was an expensive repair. But Harrisons mobile auto repair went out of their way to give me the best deal possible. Originally they had quoted me that it would take a couple days to do this repair and they had it done in one day. And then also helped me out with the cost because I am on a budget right now and it was such an expensive fix. Any other repairs I ever need done you better believe this is where I will be going . I recommend them to anybody else in the city area not only for towing but for their auto repair. my car is driving beautifully. I have not felt my steering be so smooth since Ive got this car. the alignment is perfect. I am very happy. Absolutely the best in Salt Lake City I highly recommend

Mike at Harrisons Mobile Auto Repair was amazing! My car decided to not start one afternoon and I really was not sure what I was going to do. I along with my dad called him and he was extremely friendly and helpful! He typically does not work on my brand of car, VW, but was still willing to help. He made sure that he has the battery needed to replace mine, and got me in the same day after I had gotten my car jump started. Him and his wife were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. I was traveling through the area for work with my gooseneck trailer and noticed my u-joints were shot and about to fall off. I called Harrison and asked if they could get to me right away and he said come on. They got my truck in right away and got my driveshaft out and took it personally to a driveline repair shop to make sure it got done in a timely manner. Wonderful group of people at this shop. Got a starter replaced today (7/28/20) in our Honda. Pricing was almost $200 dollars less than any other quote I got and the customer service I received was impeccable. My car battery died in the parking lot of the sugarhouse health clinic. It was so dead the car wouldnt even jumpstart. I called Harrison auto because it was close, they offered mobile service, and they had good reviews. Mike spoke with me personally and advised me to have the car towed to his shop because the cost would be much less. I had my daughter and dog with me and we had other appointments to get to, so I thanked him for his honest advice but said I didnt mind paying the extra fee for mobile service. He showed up with a new battery in less than an hour and he and his son had my car working in no time at all. Courteous, honest, and fair. I wouldnt hesitate to use these guys again!

I found Mike on the web, talked to him about 2pm, told him I had to leave the next morning, and he said drop off the car and he would see what he could do. Mikes an amazing mechanic and hes an honest guy. My wife and I have been taking our cars to him since 2014. Just this week, he looked at my car and determined that no maintenance was needed and he didnt even charge me for the inspection. There were a few things he noticed that might become issues in the future, that some other mechanics might have recommended be fixed now, for dubious reasons, but, again, hes an honest guy with integrity.

Anytime Ive had an issue with my car Ive been able to get it worked out. I dont know if Im getting a deal or not, but I know its fair. For every problem he has talked me through my options and has even told me what I could do myself. Great place. Highly recommend.Mike, gets things done. I had a terrible experience with an auto shop in American Fork called World Class Auto and they left me with a broken car and an empty wallet. Mike, not only fixed my problem with great work, but he was so fast and had me on the road later that day.

On my lunch, my car wouldnt start, I called the shop and Mike recommended I try and jump ot instead of him doing a mobile service. Turns out the battery was bad and I was able to jump start it. He got me right in and got a battery rushed over. They did excellent work and where very nice the whole time. If I ever have another issue, Harrisons will be my first call.

Tried to install subs and ended up knocking something loose. Mike is awesome! He gave me an awesome deal to tow 30+ miles oil change and rewire. Ill definitely be going to him for any other car problems I have. He picked it up yesterday and had it done by 11 am today, and went as far as diagnosing other issue that need fixing like door handle, window track, etc. Most places would charge for that without even asking if I want it checked out. One of the few honest mechanics I know. Mike is my go to for all things on my camry. He has often told me something he thought was wrong, I approve the fix, then find out when I pick it up that he was able to perform a simple fix and I walk out of there hundreds of dollars richer than planned. This place is ridiculous. We take the car in for just head gaskets, the guy said it would come to $800. So we go to pick up our Subaru and he tells us he fixed like 3 other things on it. Then literally the very next day, the radiator blew up, so we take it back and he says its just the hose, but when we go to pick it up, all of a sudden he replaced a brand new radiator, I was upset because the car was at the shop for over 2 weeks and he said when he was driving it, everything was fine. So then Im driving home from work THE NEXT DAY, the check engine light is on and the temp in the car is very high, so we take the car back and he said he will fix it but itll cost so much for labor and to fix it. WE MADE HIM FIX IT FOR FREE BECAUSE I SPENT $1,500 AT THIS PLACE AND NOW ITS A GUESSING GAME EVERYDAY I DRIVE MY CAR FOR THE LAST WEEK.DONT EVER GO HERE. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Called Mike to get an opinion on my axel seal as I was working on the brakes when I noticed it was leaking. He talked me through what I needed to know and I was able to get it done in about an hour. Thanks for the help. When my truck needs work I know who ill bring it to.

I was not here. I have no idea who they are. I called them, I believe and was treated well on there phone, but I didnt use their services.

Unbelievable.. I have no words for the so called service I received at this place. I have taken my other vehicle there and had zero issues before, but this time I am still in shock over what happened.. VERY LONG story short.. the problem was in the ignition somewhere, they supposedly replaced the ignition cable that was authorized, said they replaced the fuel pump (which had already been replaced and was brand new) and was specifically told that and NOT to replace it again. Replaced another ignition part, and said he had to put a new battery in because the dome light had ruined my battery, and that he took the bulb out so it wouldnt happen any longer. I had just replaced the battery in February so I told him I would pick it up and take it back because it had a three year warranty. I went to get the battery to get it replaced as I was not going to pay for another battery, and the battery he gave me was a pos wal mart battery! It wasnt even my battery!! I have paperwork on my OReilly 3 year warrantied battery I cant even get it switched out now. He argued with me and told me that was the battery they took out of my car. I couldnt believe it!! He has have this vehicle for nearly 5 months over these minor issues that should have been fixed in a couple hours. I at this point have NO IDEA what they have done to this car.. Stole my battery, tried to say there were things replaced that were brand new!! And car would not start this morning.. Just a warning to people if you take your vehicle here.. TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING!!!!! THEY ARE CROOKS AND WILL TRY TO TAKE YOU TO THE CLEANERS!!
