After a harrowing experience half the night in the ER with a severe toothache and very little done for any kind of even temporary relief I received a call back from the office even after hours and was immediately fit it in for the next morning. When I arrived everyone in the office was so friendly and helpful after the last 48 hours of being at the end of my rope and in severe pain, I already started to feel some relief the dentist was certainly very skilled and right on point, and worked very quickly and accurately, and the bedside manner of both dentist and assistant was excellent— very warm and supportive, particularly when I had been feeling so miserable from the pain, and somewhat dejected after a long night in the ER, with very little to show for it. I highly recommend, and I will definitely be returning— hopefully not too soon.

Everyone was so friendly! The office is spacious , clean, and easy to park at. The technology is leading edge and the dentists and techs were happy to explain in detail what procedures I would need and why. Overall , a very good experience and I highly recommend them.

I first started seeing Dr. Rairigh in 2013 for 6 month smiles before I was married. Him and his staff are amazing. My husband and children now go to him at his new location with his expanded staff. Very knowledgeable, they do their best to save you money and are transparent. Their prices are middle of the range in terms of dentists, so its not the cheapest or the most expensive. Great hours, good billing department.

From check in to check out, the entire staff and doctors were extremely friendly and professional. Wife and I were both impressed with their service and expertise on our first visit. Doctor took the time to listen and explain. Hygienist was awesome. We will be returning.

I’ve only been in the office for a consultation so far, but, I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received since contacting this office. I was greeted when I arrived and was seen quickly. Jessica took my X-Rays and made me feel comfortable while going through the entire process. Dr. Culver was able to further explain my dental issues as well as give me a few different treatment options going forward. He was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. Excellent dentists and staff with a good atmosphere and communication with patients. Dr. Rairigh did a wonderful job, including explaining what he does in a procedure and working with me to make sure the procedure was a success. All the hygienists and administrative personnel I’ve encountered are skilled, knowledgeable and helpful. Recently, they went above and beyond to help me get to an appointment when there was an unexpected road closure. When the person who answered the phone couldn’t figure out where I was, she went and found someone who could talk me through it. And, they were both incredibly kind and non-judgemental about my inability to navigate Upper St. Clair.

Let me just say that I’m deathly afraid of the dentist. This place makes me feel so much at ease and takes the fear away as soon as I arrive. Not only is everyone completely professional, they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable at your visits! I live about 25 minutes away from this practice without traffic so with traffic, it’s closer to 40 minutes. Luckily, I only have to make the drive twice a year (hopefully no more than that), but it is WELL WORTH the drive. This practice is full of friendly, funny people who had me laughing and actually enjoying a dental visit. Dr. Culver was so nice. It was clear during my appointment that he was very focused on my care. 10/10 would recommend!

I drove to Pittsburgh from Northeast Philly this past weekend, to visit my daughter and son-in-law. Twenty minutes after I arrived at their home, I broke my tooth while eating a cookie. From that point on, we were on a mission to find a reputable dentist, who accepted my insurance, AND would grant me an emergency appointment. I was lucky! Dr. Rairigh saw me the next morning at 11am. Everyone at Advanced Dental Solutions treated me as if I had been one of their regular patients. They were courteous and kind and compassionate. I am truly grateful, and if ever I move to Pittsburgh, I would return to Advanced Dental Solutions as a regular patient. Okay, I’m a dental procedure wimp...and that is likely being kind to myself. I have been avoiding a visit to a dentist, given several poor, painful and disappointing experiences.I mustered up the courage and made an appointment to visit Advanced Dental Solutions...namely because they offered sedation, and that was the primary reason.Luckily, the appointment was able to fit in with my work schedule-7:00 in the evening, plus my wife/caregiver/inspiration was able to be on my wing.The greeting upon entering was polite and authentic hospitality. I didn’t need to wait long to be called to the back, with the wide accompanying me.The comfort levels were off the chart, I felt welcomed, respected, and listened to. Both the hygienist and the dentist spent ample time-investigating, learning of my past medical challenges, and explaining procedures every step of the way.By the end of the evening, we had a multi step plan, an appointment for me, and the wife also scheduled an appointment.Now, I would be telling a tale if I said I was looking forward to going back...but, given the experience, I certainly will do so. With confidence that the experience will, once more, be positive and that the future of my chicklets has a brightness...thanks to the gang at ADD

I called at 6:30 PM with not one, but two throbbing teeth. Since they close at 7 PM, the girl on the phone could not possibly have cared less. I see the owner has responded. My counter is that people often work overtime (I have, and I do still), and when you are supposedly in the business of helping people, especially those who are suffering, as I still am, then you work overtime. Fortunately I found another dentist who will see me early tomorrow. The person I spoke to there was both sympathetic and helpful.

I had a crack in an old filing in a crown. They were able to squeeze me in on short notice and complete the whole process. Very friendly and attentive practice!

Dr Culver and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I had a root canal infected and required an emergency extraction. My dentist called 3 oral surgeons. None of them were accommodating. Dr Culver and his staff managed to squeeze me between patients. The procedure never felt rushed and went very smoothly. They basically saved my Christmas by sacrificing some of their own time to accommodate me.

As ALWAYS this team is AMAZING, from the phone call to the front desk to the chair and last but not least checking out 😊, I can’t say enough on how comfortable they all make me feel while I’m there! Great Experience as always. Very Relaxed, Social environment. Lori always does the best job cleaning my teeth, so I keep requesting her. It was my pleasure to meet Dr. Simzin for the first time and she was very professional and funny, joking with us. All three Dentists bring their individual specialty skills to the practice, which keeps more services under one roof.

I used to hate going to the dentist especially to clean my teeth. However, Laury Leech has been great. She is very professional and careful. She makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. She is the best—and so is Dr. Rairigh and his team.

They where very helpful although I did have water on my lunges which I found out after I went for my x ray check up that I had liquid on my lungs. I dont anymore but idkcwhy they didnt tell me that.

First time patient there and I love my experience! They have great sanitizing protocol to prevent spread of covid! Very accommodating and nice people who works there from front desk to the Dentist and assistants to the check-out clerk !

Dr. Culver is a great dentist but also a kind and caring person.. I am awaiting a front tooth implantation. I lost my temporary front tooth. They fit me in the next day. Jess is a dental assistant who repaired my temporary tooth. She is very good at what she does. Now I can smile again without looking like a Halloween pumpkin. I highly recommend this group.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Culver for 5 or so years. He and his staff have always been professional, pleasant and have given me the best of care! It used to be a 2 or 3 minute drive to his office when he practiced in Whitehall. Now that Dr. Culver joined in with Dr. Rairigh at the Mcmurry location a little more than a year ago, my commute increased by about 10 minutes. I must say, I could easily find another dentist closer, but I doubt that Id get the quality of service that Dr. Culver and his staff provide! Keep up the good work!

I’ve been going for over a decade. The people are very friendly and the Dentists never insist you need something unnecessary. They have next to zero turn over. Great to see the same faces every time. I recently brought my Mom to see the Doc and he treated her great. She was very comfortable with him and all the staff. I highly recommend!!

My initial consultation visit to see Dr. Rairigh was excellent. He outlined a care plan and detailed the work that I would need to have done. He explained everything very well and addressed all of my concerns and questions. His recommendation included a referral to another specialist. I tried to schedule that appointment but was told it would be 3 months out so I shared this with Dr. Rairigh via email. To my surprise Dr. Rairigh called me back within 24 hours of my email and informed me that he reached out to the specialist and had my name put on cancellation list to be seen earlier if possible. Exceptional professionalism towards a patient that he had only seen for an initial consultation! Very glad that that I chose to see Dr. Rairigh and I look forward to being a patient of his for years to come. THANK YOU!

What can I say? Dr. Culver is WONDERFUL!!! He will take time to listen to what YOU want, and doesn’t judge you for the condition of your teeth. He’s highly skilled, professional, patient, caring and gentle. I had an abscess, and am going to be having surgery within a week, so he fit me into his schedule to do a root canal, and I’m still amazed at how quick and easy it was!!! He’s previously done my dental implants for me. The office is clean and the staff are all friendly. You’re in good hands with Dr. Culver and Dr. Rairigh; they’re the best in the Pittsburgh area!!! Doctors perform quality work and staff is personable.

The facility is very clean and the hygienist was great. The dentist came across as very condescending and waiting for her to arrive kept me there for 90 minutes for a routine cleaning. Maybe she was having a bad day, but the experience fell far short of my expectations.

My great experience started as soon as I was greeted at the front door and continued with the hygienist and the dentist. Very accommodating and pleasant experience.

The hygienist was nice and quick with my son but then it took over 40 minutes just for the dentist to come in and check his teeth.

Dr. Rairigh and his staff saw me right away when I had an issue that could have proved much worse if I had to wait. They saw me right away even though it was before a holiday weekend. All the staff are very caring, the office and procedures are very clean, I highly recommend!

***get a second opinion before you let them do any work on your mouth*** I came to the office Dec 1 for severe tooth and gum pain. I was told I needed an extraction, and would need the tooth area packed and had the option for an implant, my treatment plan they came up with was around $3600. I also had to pay a $60 fee that day for a deep cleaning they did on three teeth, which I found out later by insurance I shouldn’t have paid. They originally scheduled my extraction for February 2021 which is a long time to wait due to the amount of pain I was in. However they did call me twice with sooner apt times, one being in jan and then they had one for the end of December. After not feeling comfortable with what they told me I went to another dental office who was able to save my tooth with a root canal and crown, also informed me I had an abscess tooth. The other dental office was able to relieve my pain in a two day time frame and saved me thousands of dollars.**edit- due to the response given by the office, also note that was never properly explained to me at the time of the visit, I was not given another option other than the most excessive and most expensive. That being said I went to two different dental offices after this one, and NEVER mentioned this offices “treatment plan”. Both offices first choice was to do a root canal and crown. I have cosmetic crowns that are two years old and was advised that over time they may need to be replaced (over 10 years) so I would much rather have been offered that option the first time and took my chances. Also, implants may need to be replaced over time as well!

Everyone is very pleasant and accomodating. No criticism about my teeth. Dr. Josh Culver and his assistance are most patient and wonderful dentists I ever had experience with in my long life.

Had a bad experience at a well known chain dentistry a year or so ago and it had me putting off some work I needed done. Read some reviews and decided to give them a try. Glad I did, great experience from the waiting room to the work in the chair. Everyone is kind and welcoming. The dentist and the assistants listen to you and take time to explain everything that’s going on the whole time. Painless procedure, great overall experience. Now my permanent dentist.

I had a crown fall out and Dr. Rairigh fit me in the very next day. He and his staff have always been so friendly and professional. I first came in around 8 years ago after nearly a decade of avoiding dental care. They assured me that no one in their office would ever shame me or touch me in a way that I wasn’t comfortable with. They have kept that promise! Great job with their COVID precautions as well—the only thing I wish they would do differently is have people wait in the car rather than the waiting room. But since I was only in the waiting room for about 30 seconds it was not an issue! I highly recommend this practice.
