I’ve been going to this dentist for 8 years+! It’s gotten worst over the years. Extremely unprofessional. If you need dental services do not go here. They can’t get you in for 2+ months . After years I’m sadden to say I have to find a new dentist. Save your time I wish I did.

You made one of my friends cry and almost killed someone else because you are so rude do not go here!!!!! Dental anxiety is real and should be taken seriously!!!

My experience with Nova Dental was great. I called on Tuesday complaining that my mouth would hurt on and off due to a broken wisdom tooth. They were able to get me in for a consultation that Friday. I thought to myself oh no Im going to have to deal with this even longer. When I went to my appt today everyone was very friendly. I got in the chair and Dr. Ryan Wolfe (son) stated that he could pull my tooth today! I had 3 cavities and a broken tooth. To my surprise I got a deep cleaning, all 2 of my 3 cavities filled and my tooth pulled! The service I received was great!! I highly recommend going to see Dr. Ryan Wolfe!!!

If you’re looking for safe practices, don’t go here!!! The dentist, Dr. Ryan Wolff, just talked within inches of my open mouth with a broken mask hanging off of his face. When I told him his mask is broken he just said “yeah.” As a person in the health care field, he should be doing better to set an example and keep people safe. This was very upsetting.

I had an amazing time with the entire staffing department/committee, everyone was great and treated me so kindly. I called Novas Dental Association on Thursday due to a broken tooth and they literally seen me within an hour of me calling. Very professional, clean, and friendly environment. I read review about this place while waiting in the waiting room and from the reviews I wanted to turn around and leave ... so far I had two visits I was ableTo get appointments fast my first appointment was a teeth cleaning with Kayla and she was great my second appointment was for filling and I had Beth and Dr.Skubak when I say these ladies were amazing I mean amazing They made sure u was relax and comfortable... the noise from the equipment They should bother me they stopped and allowed meTo get my headphones they just make me feel comfortable and relaxed and I hate going to the dentist but for the first time i can honestly say i was satisfied

Kayla cleaned my teeth and she was wonderful. Im not a fan going to the dentist, at all. She made me feel comfortable. She was patient with me and considerate. I appreciated the time she took to clean my teeth.

I had a lot of work needed done. My teeth had NEVER been seen prior to come to Dr.Ryan. The team at Nova dental has always been so warm and welcoming. Dr.Ryan has given me a second chance with my teeth. Every procedure we have done had 100% zero pain and even the recovery time didn’t hurt. He always does his best to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied. They do their best on payments as well! Last week was my very last BIG procedure, now I just get to see them for my annual cleanings! Thank you Dr.Ryan for giving me the BEST Nova dental Smile! ❤️

I had broken tooth and called and Katie got me right in. Beth and Dr. Skubak were amazing made me feel so comfortable and talked me through everything. I went back today for dry socket from having the broken tooth removed and Dr. Ryan was more than helpful. The entire stuff is great and accommodating to the needs of their patients. I was very glad to be there to be helped as much as I was. Dr. Ryan also had my teeth cleaned and to me the doctor-patient relationship there is fantastic. Going back in October to get the rest of my dental work completed. I have recommended them to my friends and family. Thank you Nova Dental!!

Office refused to write a letter for prior authorization from my insurance company—instead they told me I would have to ask my PCP who knows very little about dental work. They also offered to allow me to apply for carecredit to cover the incredibly high bill. The receptionist scoffed at me when I said I’d never had a provider that wouldn’t advocate for me to an insurance provider.I went to another office for a second opinion—the dentist there was shocked that no one would write a letter to my insurance, and did so himself before I left the building. What would have been thousands in dental work was now only a couple of hundred.Nova dental could have been reimbursed by my insurance if they had bothered to do the leg work instead of trying to make quick money off of me with a high interest method like carecredit. Instead I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Had one of the worst experiences Ive ever had in a healthcare setting. I have a lot of dental anxiety because my teeth have always been pretty bad (I grew up in a rural area and was not given proper dental care, as a result my teeth are pretty bad as an adult -- I know that my teeth need a lot of work). The receptionists were very kind and accommodating and wait time was fine, they are also very sweet over the phone. The hygienist Joey was kind to me and empathetic to my anxieties as I explained to her my situation, but the dentist made me feel terrible and clearly feels no sympathy for someone who has teeth that are in bad shape. When he walked in he did not introduce himself (I dont even know what his name was), had a terrible bedside manner in which he rattled off which of my teeth needed fillings and root canals and that I would lose some of my teeth if I didnt get them. He was curt and unempathetic and there was no discussion with me about anything. It seemed like maybe they are overbooked at this office and try to work through patients as quickly as possible but it really affects the quality of service. At one point I began tearing up after receiving the news of such a large amount of my teeth needing serious dental work/hearing that if I cant figure out how to pay for the root canals that would mean losing my teeth, and the dentist was fairly rude about it. When he did drill my teeth he didnt ask any of the typical niceties like are you ready or are you doing okay and then just left right after, it really felt like patient care was not a priority at all and I didnt feel like I had any dignity. I got a few fillings done here and now I cant floss between the teeth they filled and my bite sits unevenly/when I chew anything it first hits those teeth that were filled. I am experiencing a large amount of pain/sensitivity in those teeth now where I did not before. I scheduled with a different dentist and will not be returning, I regret coming here in the first place. If you have any level of dental anxiety I really suggest you DO NOT come here, but if you are comfortable in the dentist chair and just need something like a teeth cleaning Im sure it would be a fine experience and all staff that I encountered besides the dentist were very nice.

After months of getting the run around with my autistic daughter, our hopes were answered when we found the amazing people at Nova Dental in Bloomfield. They have treated her with tremendous care and Id recommend them to anyone in my situation.

Need teeth out GO NO PLACE ELSE!!! Dr. Ryan and staff were amazing making me feel comfortable and the procedure only took minutes!!!!I called needing a tooth out on a Wednesday saw him friday and was pain free saturday. Love my dental home

Best dentist ever... I was in extreme pain and had to have some teeth pulled ... before I knew it they had the teeth out ...pain free and I was on my way home! And Barry is gonna be my new drinking buddy as soon as I heal!

I had a cleaning, and root canal. FELT NO PAIN. The staff is great, i have been scared of the dentist office all, my life. But they took awesome care of me.

It is hard to even put into words how grateful I am for this office, especially Lil, Dr. Ryan, and Dr. Martz!! They all when above and beyond to help my little guy when every other office had seem to let him down! I wish I could give them more stars, wonderful staff and doctors that truly want nothing more than to help their patients!

Nova dental was so helpful at getting me in the next day and getting my bad tooth out. I have now been a patient for a year and just brought me friends in. Very kid friendly

CHECK REVIEWS BEFORE GOING TO THEM. THE OWNER AND HIS STAFF ARE LIARS!!!!!!!! Poor service. Very rude. Still in extreme pain.. now currently sicker than before. Money hungry company who does work with no approvals, tell false stories, staff is very inappropriate and inadequate, lack of customer service.. dont let them deceive you. Do not go here. Definitely needed to read these reviews. I have never had a cavity in my life. I said as much to the receptionist and that I wanted ONLY what my insurance covered. nothing else. I was only there to get my teeth cleaned. two months later I recieve a past due notice for things that werent covered. shame on you for being so greedy for 50 dollars. do not trust these people with your health.

I have to get teeth pulled. They do the initial exam and put me on antibiotics ok so its finally time to get these SEVEN hell teeth out of my mouth after years of suffering. Im bad w/ needles & they say my blood pressure and heart rate were too low to put the iv in. They referred me to a hospital, telling me that they would put me out and then put the iv in me. BUT GUESS WHAT! THEY DONT DO THAT!!! Nova literally just lied and sent me somewhere else so they wouldnt have to deal with me or something aka wasted my time. (So now I have to do everything over again at the hospital. And wait even LONGER to get the teeth out but its fine I love having debilitating jaw pain while Im at work or school.) Not to mention, when I was in the waiting room, two women were exchanging horror stories of their visits to the same place. From staff being rude to another tooth fracturing because of their work. Thanks

Would not recommend for crowns! Had one installed here under three years ago and it is already failing. Current dentist was APPALLED at how ill fitting the crown is. Even if there was significant damage to the tooth beneath, current dentist assures me that something should have been done to ensure proper fitting or suggest other options. Also, this facility still uses disgusting putty impressions where more hi tech offices use 3D imaging for perfect fit. YOU HAVE OPTIONS, I wish I would have asked these questions and/or shopped around.

Id give this place 0 stars they are horrible customer service. Waited almost a solid 20 minutes past my appointment didnt bother to tell me I couldnt have the baby with me waited till I went back then said I couldnt be seen. No respect. Someone couldnt take 10 minutes to hold her for me. My other doctors office do that. I am a single mother what do they expect. I lose my insurance the end of this month and this was my only opportunity. Horrible horrible unfriendly place.

Worst dental office I ever seen

I got my dentures from them, after a year I told them that my bottoms arent fitting right they did nothing. They said youll get adjusted to them even after I told them before they were not fitted right. They dont listen when you tell them something so they can squeeze more money out of you. Pick someone else if possible. (I had insurance) now since I dont they wont do anything unless I pay them. NO!!! Do your job the 1st time. If I could give them a 0 star I would

I called 3 times within a week to get an appointment, 1st time i left a voicemail (no one returned my call) 2nd time finally got someone to answer, she said they would give me a call back because they had to verify my insurance which can take about 5 mins or less (never got a call back) and 3rd time calling (they are closed but open at 9 am (its 9:45 am) and i have yet to get a call. This place use to be great but now its horrible (all i needed was my teeth cleaned) and i cant even get someone to return my call. this needs 0 stars

I am posting this review based on an experience I had with the female who answers the phone for this location on 11/15/2016. I had gone to another dentist last week and got my x-rays and routine cleaning. It was my first visit to this dentist. I needed to have a few thing addressed and chose to contact Nova Dental, Bloomfield Location owned by Dr. Michael J. Wolff. The female that answered the phone would not make an appointment for me because she said I used my yearly cleaning/ exam / x-rays @ another Dental Provider. I said I am sorry.. I am confused. I would like to make an appointment. I can bring my x-ray films and report. I told her I would take care of my insurance/ medical records. Then I proceeded to ask for another appointment or to speak with the office manager or dental assistant. The female answering the phone responded Sorry Maam I cant help you. Then proceeded to hang up on me in a very rude manor.Definitely do not trust anyone from that Dental group with my oral care or putting sharp tools or objects near my mouth.

They were good to me. I enjoyed my visits.

Love love this place. Great and friendly staff and dentists. I got crown and bridge would done here 20 years ago and it is still in my mouth looking as perfect as day one.Recently Ryan pullled a tooth on my no pain from the needle or after the numbing war off. Highly recommend making an appt.I was in the off when the previous review(Jess was there. It takes years for 7 teeth to go bad and hurt get on it early and I heard them refer her to the hospital for her safety with all the health issuesThey definitely have the best interest of the patient at heart

Broke my tooth a while ago..believe it was number20..after so long with the excruciating pain come and go it felt like this time the pain was here to stay...i rushed me and my 2 children to St.Margaret at 5 am today..after a shot to numb for 6-8 hours, an antibiotic, i was told nothing they can do i needed to see a dental sergen and was sent home faster then i was checked in...I looked up local dental sergons and found awsome reviews for NOVA DENTAL ASSOCIATES IN ETNA.. I called about 6 am and left a message for on call emergency...DR. Ryan called me within 2 hours.After discussing my pain and situation he was able to accomidate me with an emergency appoinment same day even as a new patient at the Bloomfield location...When i arrived to the appoinment i was surprised to see everyone there very attentive with the patients..i was not left alone for even a min...which was great because i have history of hyperventalating with things like this very scary for me..between getting x-rays and needing an extraction they also refilled my cavitys on same side for preventative care...was there, check-in to checkout only an hour and half time!!Kellie did the most amazing work with my fills not a scratch ..teeth are so smooth and she was so comforting during the proceedings...i will be transferring both my children and myself for continued dental care to NOVA...Thanks a milion again for your accommodations and a better nights rest with NO PAIN!

The dentist was unhelpful and disreguarded the pain I was in she made no attempt to prescribe anything that would help with the pain while in her chair. She look at my xrays and told me nothing was wrong and begin to spray my gum line with a cleaning agent that made the pain even worst.I immediately went to the ER after leaving Nova Dental for them to tell me I have an impacted wisdom tooth that is making my second molar next to it inflamed and why its loose they immediately give me a numbing agent and a prescription for antibiotics and pain meds.

The front desk receptionist Christie was very very very unprofessional an ignorant is hell she hung up on the phone on me twice. I would never come here again. I wouldnt even send some i couldnt stand even to go to nova dental in Bloomfield. I have never been to a dentist office the the front desk acted so rude. I will tell everyone I work for up in Bloomfield to never go to this place ever.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It is outdated and doesnt look like a dentist office. Its a very small place and the dental chair is almost in the hallway... My first time there, there was an odor of cigarette in the office because of a guy who was smoking by the entrance door... The service and staff is ok but not as professional as I experienced with other dentists.

My experience here was very bad .. The workers do a bad job except for this one man who was very nice but the lady who did my teeth was horrible.. She was not experienced at all and kept me waiting on the chair for a very long time

I had a root canal done at nova dental on liberty Ave. About six months later it abscessed and I had to get my tooth pulled. I did not have a good experience here.
