Dental work terrifies me, but Ive always felt very comfortable and at ease while visiting this location. Everyone is very friendly and clearly explains whats going on. Every procedure Ive had has been completely painless, including major work. The is honestly the best dentist I have ever been to.

I have spent many, many hours in dentists chairs going back into the 1960s. The progress the dental profession has made over the years was on display during my procedure today.The whole process was explained to me in detail before we got started. Once it was underway, I was fascinated by the technical advances in modern dentistry. The skill Dr. Martik displayed in their application impressed me greatly.My comfort level was monitored constantly, and I can honestly say that I had a pleasant visit. This certainly wasnt the unpleasant type of dental experience I had as a kid.

I had a dental emergency on a Saturday. Not having a dentist here in Pittsburgh I called around hoping someone could see me. The moment I talked to the receptionist I felt at ease. Very happy with my decision to visit Martik Family Dental. The office is warm and welcoming, very well-kept. I was overdue for a visit, but my cleaning with Cherie was comfortable and thorough - my teeth feel fabulously clean. Dr. Martik also helped me with a chipped tooth, after explaining a few options. I had a crown replaced this morning. Dr Martik did an excellent job. He kept me informed throughout the procedure. I have been dreading going to the dentist because it has been years since I had my last cleaning, 6+ years. I didn’t even have a dentist here in the Pittsburgh area or know where to go. I ended up going to Martik Family Dental a couple weeks ago.The staff there was very friendly and welcoming. Being that I hadn’t had my cleaning in so many years I was a little nervous that it was going to hurt or bleed such as I remember at times happening when I was a kid.However the dental hygienist Jenna was great, she didn’t hurt me lol and my mouth wasn’t bleeding..teeth were nice and clean and I could tell she cared about her job. I did have two cavities unfortunately so I had to schedule to have them taken care of. When I went back to have the drilling and filling done again the staff was very friendly and the Dentist was honest and upfront with me about the process. I felt like I picked the right place to go.If you are looking for a family dentist I would definitely recommend them. I already have my next 6 month cleaning scheduled..not waiting years to go again!

Ive been using this office for years and love the personnel. Jill, the receptionist, is friendly and efficient. The dental hygienist is gentle. Dr Martik took over the practice of my old dentist, who retired. He is every bit as kind as my old dentist, and he is also up on new methods and treatments.

Centrally located in Dormont, this dentistry practice is by far one of the best in the Pittsburgh area. The staff was friendly and professional. The doctor took the time with me to review my case and concerns. He was very professional and understanding. During my procedure, the dentist and staff made sure that I was comfortable and I understood everything they were doing. The dentist was fast and gentle throughout my dental work. Before I knew it I was up and out the door. I will be making Martik Family Dental my dentist for now on. If there was a gold standard they would be it.Personal note: Before coming here I was hesitant to go back to the dentist again because of my extremely bad and painful experience with a crown. They have changed my mind in what proper dentistry should be.

First time here and my experience was great! The wait time was less than 5 minutes. The staff are very professional and the facility was clean. I went in for a routine cleaning, xrays and exam and was out within 40 minutes. The dental hygienist did a thorough cleaning and I felt comfortable the entire time. I will definitely continue seeing this dentist as long as I am living in the area!

I have been going ever since for dental work including two crowns which turned out amazing. Dr. Martik and his staff are beyond friendly, compassionate and professional. Even though friends said it was not that bad, I was smiling less and not using lipstick colors I liked because I felt it accented my off-color teeth. Ive been a patient for a while now, but I put off having my crown done. Finally did it today and I am very well pleased with how the entire procedure went, the short amount of time it took (my crown was molded as I watched!) and Dr. Martiks professionalism. Everyone was super nice, and they had a really great deal for first-time patients. The morning was a bit hectic because of added traffic in the city, but everyone seemed to be moving quickly and efficiently to get back on track.

I am a great big baby when it comes to going to the dentist. The office staff is incredibly friendly and were conscientious of my nervousness. Dr. Martik is wonderful and was also very attune to my nervousness. If its possible for a dentist to have a gentle touch, he has it. In one visit I had both a filling and a temporary crown put on (I had the permanent crown put on this morning). In the past when the novocain wore off I had stiffness and some discomfort. I had none of that after this visit. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Martiks practice.

Dr. Adam Martik and the staff are very professional and courteous. The office is very clean and has flatscreen t.v.s available for you to watch while you are having work done.I have my teeth cleaned and checked at his office every 6 months. A few weeks ago I was having a problem with a tooth and he was able to fit me in the schedule the same day. He was very informative about the problem I was having and got started on the bad tooth right away. I would highly recommend Dr. Martik and his staff!
