Very nice staff. They do great work. They take the time to figure out our somewhat complicated primary and secondary’s insurance situation and then only bill us for what’s not covered. All and all I’m quite happy with their team, approach, and policies. I’ve been using them for about 4-5 years now with no complaints.

Dr. Tovissi has given me the best dental care I have ever experienced since 2013. Through the years I have found her to be very professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate as well as gentle and respectful. I also appreciate how she keeps her office up-to-date with the latest dental technology such as crown replacements in one day and the Zoom teeth whitening treatment. The dental hygienist, Sharon does an excellent job cleaning my teeth and gives me several educational tips for my oral care. The professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff is outstanding. Ive been seeing Dr. Halusic for a few months now after a poor experience at a different dentist. She is AMAZING! She has been so supportive and always makes time to listen to my concerns and answer questions. At one of my visits she was working double duty due to another dentist having an emergency and being out of the office but somehow she squeezed in extra time with me and didnt make me feel rushed. She is warm and compassionate and Im so glad I found her. All of the office staff and hygienists have also been phenomenal. In my experience they are also very accommodating and helpful in managing dental expenses. I highly recommend Babcock Dental Center!

This practice is wonderful! After many years with another dental office, I began treating with Babcock Dental Center last year. I had no idea how efficient, organized, & reasonably pleasant a dental appointment could be. EVERYone is very professional. The office is super clean & comfortable with up to date technology. Today I had the most wonderful experience at Babcock Dental Center!! It had been a very long time since I had been to the dentist! I had awful experiences in the past at other dental providers which lead to really bad anxiety! So I just put off going for way to long!Dr. Halusic and all of the staff helped me feel welcomed and relaxed. They didn’t shame me for putting off going to a dentist, instead they apologized that I hadn’t received better care and said they would do everything they could to help me. Dr. Halusic took a few minutes before we got started to find out about me!! Asked me about what I did for a living and if I was originally from Pittsburgh. I was blown away!! Truly!! It is such a relief to have found a dentist with knowledge, skill and compassion. Dr. Halusic replaced a couple of old fillings for me this morning. I have to admit that I have considerable trepidation about dental work, but Dr. Halusic and her assistant, Kathy, were extremely kind and supportive. I already had the sense that Dr. Halusic was knowledgeable and professional from my initial checkup. Today she showed her competence and skill while also remaining sensitive to my comfort. Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Kureichyk and Shelley were so kind. Since I was a new patient, they got to know me for 10 minutes and chatted before we got down to the dental stuff. Throughout the exam, they explained what they were doing and why. I don’t think I’ve ever had a dentist check me for oral cancer before this, or if they did they didn’t tell me. The care here is the best you could ever find. Babcock dental is in a very nice convenient location. The office is beautiful & sparkling clean, but our favorite part is the staff. It’s so nice that we do not have to take our young daughter to a separate place. They are wonderful with kids and we all look forward to going. They book me & my daughter at the same time which is super convenient And Shannon makes my teeth feel amazingly clean and they look so white! We love it there!

I’ve had lots of fillings done over the years, but my experience at Babcock Dental has been my best experience by far. It was a pain free, even once the numbness wore off, took only took 35 minutes, and my bite is perfect!The ladies at Babcock are amazing. They are close staff that work like a happy well oiled machine.I highly recommend them to anyone in the Pittsburgh area.

Everyone at Babcock dental is so nice. I received a booklet with a plan of action with the estimated costs of each procedure (I had several concerns I wanted to address including straightening my teeth.) The booklet was easy to read with all the information I needed. This is given on your second visit if you are addressing issues after your initial visit. Everything was very transparent. Both dentists are friendly and they truly want to know YOU. They will make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions. I moved to New Castle and I would rather drive 50 min to their office than find a new dentist.

Unfortunately I had to get in for a Emergency Root Canal and they were so accommodating and wonderful. I’m so glad I switched to them as my dentist. I took my teenage daughter here and she liked them a lot so I also go to them now. So gentle and understanding!

Emily, my Dental Hygienist, did a phenomenal job cleaning and polishing my teeth today! She had her work cut out for her as this was the first time in four years and a month ago (as my wife always says... Life got in the way). I can honestly say my teeth feel today as though I had just just had them cleaned four months and a day ago without skipping all that time!

Everyone in this office is nice and accommodating. It pleases me to support an all women business. Mom at 89 can be pretty persnickety and they are very patient with her. She cannot hear so that is a plus.

I went here the other day for my first appointment. I was looking for a new dentist in the area and am thrilled I found them. They got me in as a new patient soon thanks to a cancelation. The service was wonderful and friendly from the front desk, to the dental assistant, to the dentist herself. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and warm. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and have already told a few people to try them if theyre looking for a dentist! Everything was clean, fresh, and impressive as far as the facility goes as well.

I have a very complicated medical case as an adult who has issues from cleft palate surgeries as a child and teen. I have seen other dentists in the city but nobody assessed me with this much skill and detail. In ONE APPOINTMENT I got a diagnosis and treatment for my chronic dry mouth and really bad TMJ . I thought my headaches and neck pain were from being on the computer. After the doc showed me how to do facial PT and fixed my bite somewhat I had immediate improvement in my symptoms. I got answers to all my questions and connections to a network of providers who will hopefully be able to fix the fistula in my mouth that no other doctor would even look at or touch. I have a lot of work ahead to get better but this team is already getting me started!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Joanne and her staff! From Kristens sweet demeanor as soon as you walk in the door, to going back and sitting in the exam chair and having dental work done (which is not high on the fun list for most people), EVERYONE at this practice gives 110% to their work and their patients. You can tell they are like a family, and they dont just consider it their workplace. I have referred several people to Dr. Joanne and will continue to do so because shes the best! I used to hate going to the dentist and would put it off or need sedated, but I am made to feel comfortable through the entire process and the fear is less each time. If you need a dentist, or just a cleaning, you need to give them a call!
