Absolutely amazing experience, top notch service, installation, and products!I worked with Taylor to design my kitchen. It took me awhile to figure out what exactly I wanted done with my kitchen design, but what I should have done in the first place is contacted Noelle from BKG Design. If you give her your room dimensions, she can make every cabinet fit and somehow make the space feel bigger than it used to be (and look good!). We are so happy we went with BKG for our kitchen remodel. Even though our kitchen remodeling is not yet complete, BKG has been timely in correspondences and abiding by their timeline. Even when there was a miscommunication regarding our hardware, Taylor was very respectful when addressing the issue. So far our kitchen cabinetry looks 1000% better than previously. Installers only took 1 1/2 days to tear out and install cabinetry. We are just waiting for the countertop and hardware to be installed. I can definitely provide another update and pics when the project is fully done.

From start to finish, Taylor made the process of redoing the kitchen of our new home as painless as possible. She explained everything thoroughly, gave us options, and made countless changes that we requested to the design - all with a smile. Highly recommended!

The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating, from our designer through the installers. The owner even came on the first day of the install to make sure everything was in place and understood. Our kitchen has an unusual shape (the sink is in a separate room) and no one blinked at it at all! We got some excellent suggestions during the design phase, and were kept up to date and consulted with questions during the install. Our cabinets and counter tops are beautiful! I wish the timing had been a bit faster, but its understandable that the calendar fills up fast, since their prices are so amazing! We saved at least $4-$5K over the big box stores. Thanks! I know its COVID, and renos are hard, but this company does not care about you or your kitchen. They give every excuse imaginable as to why the job is not on schedule, the installers cant be counted on, the measurements (that they must double check) were inaccurate, the cabinets were damaged, ETC. I started in the planning process in the summer of 2020. A three-four day job (which took place in January 2021), took two months. When I finally called the owner with my concerns, he NEVER called me back. When they finally finished, they certainly were on time asking for the final payment. (I posted this review for C. Kelly because they did not have a google account.)

We had a great experience with BKG and Noelle. This was the second time we’ve used them, first for a bathroom vanity, because their prices are very reasonable and the customer service. This time around, we remodeled our kitchen and Noelle was very helpful and kept us up-to-date on the status of the cabinets and the countertop. Highly recommend them!

My parents chose BKG for their remodel and after seeing the end result, I knew who I needed to call for my own kitchen job. They handled everything, making the whole undertaking stress free. FIVE STARS. Best in the business.

Do NOT use BKG Design. We used Noelle and it was a terrible experience. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, and we worked with three different contractors during our kitchen remodel. Our kitchen designer allowed 37.5 clearance for a 36 refrigerator and our other contractor told us it would not allow us to open the refrigerator door. When we asked them to remove the panel to allow more space for the door to open they asked us to get a smaller refrigerator. They pulled the cabinet handles out of the box and started drilling holes before realizing the smaller handles go on the smaller cabinets. Then tried to putty the holes on our brand-new cabinets and leave them like that. They installed several cabinets upside down so the doors are uneven. They left hole marks and a toe with raw edge wood just sticking out from our island. They installed the cabinet crooked, so we had to use ply bar to fit our oven in. It was a disaster. The installers stripped the screw hole in several of our cabinet doors, so the hinges came out of the wall. The brand-new doors just hang by one hinge. They said since we paid for it, we signed off on the work and they refuse to come back and fix it. The owner will not return our calls. BKG is a joke of a company and do NOT know what they are doing.

I have been using BKG Design, and more specifically Noelle, for going on five (5) years. She is fantastic with customer service and always provides meaningful design feedback. What separates her (and the company) from the rest of the pack is the ability to take blueprints and spec out the kitchens perfectly. I am always confident that the dimensions will be correct - a HUGE help. She also coordinates the granite fitting and install and troubleshoots for the client when necessary. I always have a great experience buying from BKG. Highly recommend.

The staff is easy to work with and flexible. They can complete the project start to finish scheduling the various steps to ensure everything goes smoothly. Noelle laid out all of the costs so there were no surprise charges. She was patient in helping us find the right lighting and hardware for the cabinets. We are extremely pleased with the remodeling of our kitchen and the work of BKG Designs. We worked with Noelle to purchase new cabinets and counter tops and the process was extremely smooth and professional. They even made recommendations that helped us make the best use of the space and gain some additional storage. Installation happened on schedule and they even worked with us to get the project completed in a compressed time frame. When there was an issue with the original granite we ordered, Noelle quickly worked with the supplier to get us an option that was even nicer without additional cost.

We had a fantastic experience with BKG Design. Our kitchen designer, Noelle, came up with a great design given the small size of our kitchen that was right in line with our expectations. Throughout the entire process she was there to give design tips and help us create the modern look we were envisioning. Given the age of our previous kitchen we needed a fair amount of work done including demo, electrical, plumbing, and some floor work in addition to the new cabinets and countertops. What I loved about Noelle and BKG was there was never any pressure or upselling along the way. All of our options were laid out to us from least expensive to most expensive and any part of the project that we wanted to do ourselves or hire an outside contractor for they were happy to accomodate. We ended up choosing BKG for the entire remodel and I am so happy that we did. Noelle did a fantastic job of project management as the entire remodel fell exactly to plan from both a time and cost perspective. Noelle would check in frequently to make sure we were aware of what was next to come, any upcoming decisions we had to make, and clarify items if there was any potential for confusion. In addition to project management, the install itself went very smoothly and that was thanks to the wonderful installers, Bill and Chris. Given that I work from home I was able to witness their work each day and I have nothing but praise for everything that they did. They showed up on time every single day and did not skip a beat from the moment they walked through the door. They were always quick to answer any questions I had and even go so far as to explain how things are done or provide advice as I like to learn a bit myself. Their knowledge of what they were doing was very apparent and impressive and it shows in the final product. I have used BKG several times, I have always received excellent service and great cabinets and countertops at an affordable price. After finding BKG they helped my wife and I design our kitchen and master bath, BKG also furnished the cabinets and countertops for both rooms. Several years after designing and furnishing my current homes cabinets and countertops, BKG helped me design and provided cabinets and countertops for a rental property I updated, BKG gave me the best price and assisted with measuring to make sure everything fit correctly in a fairly narrow kitchen. When I was furnishing the home I updated there was confusion with the company that installed the countertops, I reached out to Noelle who immediately stepped in and resolved the problem with the countertop installation company. I have referred several people to BKG and all of them have said they felt they received a great deal on both cabinets and countertops. I will use BKG for all of my cabinet/countertops in the future.

I went kitchen cabinet shopping on Friday May 28, 2017 my first stop was BKG Design; Budget Kitchen & Granite located at 158 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15229. I had noticed the store that week and also found them on-line. I printed out a couple of kitchens within my price range from their portfolio on line. I walked in to the showroom around 3pm that day with my mother. It was about four (4) minutes of us standing there for one of the two (2) girls to finally even acknowledge us. She asks do you need help? Why yes as a matter of fact I do! I replied. Now I may not be the most experienced in this field but I had measurements and pictures. I need 9.5 feet of top cabinet including one 30 short cabinet to hold the hanging microwave. I need 9.5 feet below base cabinets minus 30 for the stove, one (1) corner cabinet and an outer base wall for the dishwasher. UNDER 10 CABINETS! The girl asks if she can keep my measurements that she will prepare a free estimate this time but after their fee is Two Hundred and Fifty ($250) NONREFUNDABLE FEE for another. Whatever I was thinking I need to get an idea of what I am dealing with price wise. I tell her black she pulls out a shiny piece of plastic and informs me this is more expensive but still I DID NOT GET A NUMBER! She then says since it is a holiday (the holiday is not until next MONDAY) she will take down my info and will get back to me Tuesday or more likely WEDNESDAY! Again I need fewer than 10 cabinets I mean HOW HARD CAN IT BE to give me a rough estimate of cost!???? It is now Saturday June 3rd NO COMMUNICATION FROM BKG Designs! I felt slighted, talked down to and quite frankly unimportant and NOW BLOWN COMPLETELY OFF! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR KITCHEN CABINETS GO SOMEPLACE ELSE ANYPLACE ELSE!!!! THIS PLACE IS VERY RUDE!

Terrible quality and even worse customer service. Remodeling my new kitchen ended up being a nightmare because of BKG and Noelle. The result was me and my husband having to pay another contractor to fix the numerous issues BKG Design caused.

Would rate less than 1 star if able to have redone multiple kitchens seen there reviews and gave them a shot don’t it’s like bait and switch u pay your invoice in full and they switch pricing and tell you that you still owe and management is a worthless as sales because they can’t figure out what’s going on either and won’t take responsibility for there staff would never recommend this place EVER if you get cabinets here sorry in advance

BKG helped us create an absolutely incredible kitchen! We had some pretty tricky parameters for our remodel, including our budget and timeline, but BKG delivered. This was our first kitchen renovation and Noelle (our BKG kitchen designer and project manager) was always there to answer our questions and help us resolve any issues we encountered. Noelle was on top of everything and went above and beyond to help us. I am so grateful that we were able to work with BKG on this project. Kitchen renovation is inherently stressful, but knowing that we were working with such a wonderful company really helped us get through it with minimal headache. Thank you to Noelle and the entire BKG team!!
