This place is AWESOME! Mitch is super straight forward and honest about everything and the other gentlemen that work there are very kind and stand up men. I have always had a great experience. If they tell you something is wrong you can rest assured that they are telling you the truth. I had a shady experience with a different service center that told me that I needed new brakes and rotors on an almost new vehicle to pass inspection. I felt this was not correct as I am not completely car ignorant. I took my car to Meineke to get the brakes and rotors replaced and they told me and even showed me with pictures that it did not need replaced which let me know that they other place was just lying to me to upsell me on something I didnt need. I always can trust that this place will steer me correctly and let me know anything they can see that needs done to keep my car safe while not trying to lie to me into stuff I dont need! I cannot recommend this place enough!

I called to get. Price for brakes and to see if they could take my car in the same day. The were upfront and honest and got me in very quickly. While I was there, Mitch, the owner spoke to several people and even told one customer how to fix his air conditioning on his own. Many other businesses would have taken advantage and made $500 or more. He also helped a you g girl find a reasonably priced option to repair her air conditioning. They repaired my vehicle in a timely manner as o waited in their clean and comfortable waiting area! Best auto repair experience ever! Thanks to everyone!

I was looking for a new shop to start using. I chose this one based off of the other google reviews here. Mitch and his team did not disappoint. This location offers courtesy rides in the local area which is a huge convenience!Every staff member that I was in contact with was extremely friendly, professional, and informative. This location also has this really cool report they send to you. They start by doing an inspection of your vehicle and take pictures of everything. These pictures are annotated with arrows pointing to any areas of concern and then attached to the report. So when they call you to discuss repairs, you can actually SEE what they are taking about. The entire process felt extremely transparent and honest. I really appreciated how far above and beyond this team goes.When I went to pick up my vehicle, Mitch took the time to thoughtfully explain and lay out a plan for future repairs. You can immediately tell that he has a customer-first philosophy. The service was phenomenal and the cost was extremely fair.This place passed the vibe check and I will definitely be back!

I had a problem with my tires after taking it out of storage for 6 months. My tires were losing air and when I had put air back in my valve stem broke and I was losing air fast. They were extremely helpful and were able to fit me and fix everything. They also rotated my tires and were extremely professional and pleasant to work with. They were so nice and will definitely continue getting maintenance done there. I highly suggest going their also! :)

I recently had my Brakes checked out by Meineke. They didnt locate any issues and proceeded to put my new tires on. One of my tires wasnt sealed correctly and it went flat within 2 hours of leaving the shop. I called the next morning and told them i would like to come in after work and have it corrected right away. They had also accidentally broken one of my lug nut covers. After speaking with Manager Mitch not only did they correct the issue in a timely manner. They ordered a new bag (not just 1) of lug nut covers for me and gave me a coupon for service off my next visit. I have been at this location numerous times for both my wifes car & mine. Never once was i not given A+ customer service. They also never try to over sell anything and are straight shooters. Ill be back again.

After moving into the area, I quickly learned that PA auto standards are much more complex than where I came from. I had tried elsewhere in town to get my state inspection and emissions test done but they turned me away saying I didn’t have the right paperwork. The Meineke team, on the other hand, welcomed me and made the process extremely easy, assuring me that I had the correct paperwork all along. The inspection was quick and efficient, the staff was friendly and informative without pushing additional unnecessary services on me, and it was all for a price that was less than what I expected to pay. I’ll be returning to this location for all future car services and would recommend anyone on the fence to do the same.

I went in for a simple oil change and Mitch gave me new wipers for free because of how bad they were. He also sent me a detailed report of everything my car had done and recommendations on what needs done. Mitch was great and made me laugh!

So yes, the Meineke on Steubenville Pike are very reliable and are MY MECHANIC!!I called later in the day on Wednesday, asked if they had any openings Thursday and they did not. However, the young lady who answered the phone, Leanna, said if I dropped it off they could take a look at it on Thursday. So I brought it up to Meineke at 8am, and by 930 am I got a call back. They offered 2 options for my front brakes/rotors. Very kind and courteous and my vehicle was back on the road by noon!! Hands down the most welcoming shop I’ve ever been to. I automatically get an uneasy feeling every time I even think about having to service my car. Not knowing much about vehicles I’m intimidated and then procrastinate as much as possible. Not good, I know! I called this past weekend to get brakes and rotors done. Even short staffed the gentleman on the phone (Mitch) said to bring it down. The guys even stayed late to make sure I got my vehicle that day. Capsave been there twice. Both times their charges were very reasonable. I have a Mitsubishi. The mechanic told me that Mitsubishi does not allow others to copy their exhaust systems, and they want you to buy their complete exhaust at once. Mine was $1800. He cut out and replaced a section of exhaust saving me a ton of money. They seem honest to me, unlike Midas up the road on route 60 where they tried to rip me off 3 times. They told my wife that I needed new brakes to pass inspection. When I confronted the mechanic at Midas because my brakes were recently replaced, he said it was just a suggestion. I sat there and watched them continuously crank peoples gas caps all day, then come onto the waiting room to tell the customer that they needed a new gas cap that they sell to pass emissions. Total crooks! Save yourself some grief by staying away from Midas and just go to Mienekee muffler instead.

Mitch is the life force of this shop. Its a franchise but he brings a small town feel to it. He cares about his customers and their vehicles. He is fair and truthful. Its not the fanciest shop in town but I think this crew of mechanics are just as good as any place in Pittsburgh.

State inspection and emissions was quick and easy. They didn’t try to talk me into excessive maintenance programs or costly repairs. He explained the process up front and took care of everything. My Dad has been going to Meineke for a good 20 years, and so I had high expectations when coming to this particular shop for the first time to get my car inspected. I was not disappointed. The receptionist was very amiable and on the ball, and the mechanic was really up front about the status of my vehicle, good and bad, with recommendations ready for how and when to best take care of the necessary maintenance. I was able to schedule a convenient appointment right there. Overall is was a quick and pleasant experience, and I am very happy to come back, even if its a bit further of a drive from my home than is always convenient— the service is worth it! Id been told by Subaru dealer that my car needed all new exhaust, with Y-pipe and 2 mufflers, at a cost of $1300. Meineke welded the Y-pipe and no additional work needed. Total cost was $100. Needless to say Im thrilled.

Excellent service. Staff is very friendly and the service is great. Have been taking my car to this location from sometime and I really like their genuineness. They do what is really needs to be done on the the car and unlike many other auto service centers and dealership centers they won’t charge extra money for certain things that they claim they have taken care especially i have seen absolutely very minimal labor charge. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is the first time I visited this place and the staff are really cooperative and I like the way they handled my exhaust repair for my van. Most importantly the owner also works on the job.

Went on 11/30 and had snow tires installed,the young lady at the front counter was incredibly nice to not only me but all customers that came in or called on the phone while I was there.it was very busy she ran the whole time I was there not missing a beet and some customers were being a pain ,it was nice to see a young person with a great work ethic and a great personality. Hopefully they recognize her for the stellar job she does.

My car needed inspected. Meineke is close to where I live. The A/C needed fixed and they fixed it well. The inspection seemed to move quickly. Im a happy customer.

They’ve displayed such integrity with me, explaining and providing sound advice that I’ve been accustomed to from my previous shop. I could not be happier with the service I received from Mitch and his associates at the Meineke on the Steubenville Pike. After being told by the North Hills Toyota dealership that’s my car needed over $3,000 worth of exhaust work and a new muffler (I still have the estimate paperwork from North Hills Toyota. They failed me on inspection because of it), Mitch and his coworker were able to identify a pin hole in one of the exhaust tubes which they were able to weld shut. To include my state inspection sticker my total bill was $55. When given the opportunity to take advantage of someone who knows nothing about auto mechanics, Mitch and his cohorts did the right and honest thing. I will always patronize them in the future.
