Bob and his crew were able to figure it out, which also saved me about $8k. They are friendly, professional and not pushy whatsoever. But most importantly they are honest! Wonderful people.While I was there they worked for over a kitten out of the car steering wheel. Got the car out and would have not charged the couple a penny.Except the man insisted on doing that. Who does this nowadays, none I know of. Will recommend them to everyone.

Thought my car had transmission problems. Turns out my valve cover assembly was bad which damaged my MAP sensor and leaked oil into my throttle body. They had the new parts and my car fixed in a day. Thanks again guys.

I brought my Audi A4 into Pauls for a suspected bad catalytic converter based on the bad catalyst code and smoke out the tailpipe. I paid them a diagnostic fee and they looked at the turbo and took some o2 sensor readings and told me the Cat was bad. I put in a new catalytic converter and new oxygen sensors and the next day the check engine light came on for the same Cat code again and the car was blowing smoke again. I remember specifically telling them that I wanted to get to the source of the smoke. They could of at least asked me if they could have checked the pistons or valves to see If that was the cause. I wish i didnt waste the money on a catalytic converter and sensors based on their recommendations. Good customer service but not so good troubleshooting.

Pauls Auto took very good care of my aging A4 2.4 a few months back. I had been in before, but this last visit left me appreciative of the care and interest they had shown in my auto. My only regret is not having taken my Quattro back to them sooner as another well known garage specializing in German auto left me high and dry with much headache. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Pauls garage to anyone with a German auto - one look at the beautiful classic Porsche in the showroom will set you at ease. Very reasonable price, quality workmanship, attention to detail (thank you for the bit of high octane petrol), and informed service with a friendly ease of service. I will only take my baby here! I dont doubt that their range of expertise is beyond German by the looks of their yard (Alphas... Rovers etc.) however. A big thumbs up! Thank you!

Honest, the staff there will explain everything to you that is wrong with your car and only fix what is wrong with your car. My advice to you if youre taking your car there is allowed them to diagnose the problem. They have been in the car business for over 20 years and I have been going to them for over 30 years since they moved from their old location. If you have a classic Volkswagen they still know how to fix these things. Also check out their selection of used cars. Just like the sign says they service what they sell.

Very pleased with their thoroughness and honesty. My check engine light was on. They ran diagnostics which said one thing, but they figured out it was a much bigger problem–something that would cost thousands to fix. They described the issue in detail and then, much to my surprise, told me it should be covered by an extended warranty on my car and sent me to the dealer. The dealer agreed with Pauls diagnosis and it was covered under the extended warranty. They literally saved me thousands of dollars! Highly recommend this repair shop!
