Its ok. Value not so ok. Its plain and simple. Also does not belong in that neighborhood. Major eyesore but thats just an opinion. Not sure about security. Since it opened crime has risen in the neighborhood. Helicopter visits area almost nighty now.

The Curve on Melrose offers wonderful views, a downtown experience, and has a pretty diverse atmosphere. The Management Team is very helpful, professional and friendly, especially Giselle. The Curve is also Pet friendly. The residents here are awesome!

I have lived at this property for almost 3 years. The management/leasing office have never been great but at least they were reasonable. The property was recently sold to or acquired by new owners. What was basically bad has reached an alarming level of unprofessionalism and outright deception.During the transition, the communication was horrible, as acknowledged by the new property manager Gisselle Lugo. The resident portal was taken down and there was no way to know definitely how much to pay. When this information was finally received, there charges outside of the usual and customary. I went into the Leasing with a cashiers check and spoke with Gisselle Lugo in the presence of her new asst office manager. Giselle stated she would accept the cashiers check and follow up with owners to “make sure it was ok”. I never heard back from her and this is a company that will slap a five-day notice on your door in a heartbeat. Fast forward to a new month. Issues with the billing and avenues to pay have been addressed. Rent payed per the statement, life is back to normal. On the 14 of August, over a month after my conversation with Gisselle Lugo and 13 days after paying the rent in full per the statement, the assistant office manager bullies my daughter into signing a payment agreement by telling her she would be evicted. The charges had literally been accruing since the previous month. I knew they were not very astute business people but I never figured they would be outright liars and engage in this type of deceptive business practice. Anyone who reads this should think long and hard about entering into a business relationship with this company.UPDATE 10/1/2021- The issues were never resolved. After FINALLY being told the source of the problem was a carry-over balance from PB Bell, the previous owner, documentation proving otherwise was provided, Bowen Johnson from APARTMENT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS (the new owners) totally dismissed the information, stopped communicating with me and initiated eviction proceedings. ALL WHILE I’M TRYING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE.APARTMENT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS IS AN UNSCRUPULOUS SHAM OF AN ORGANIZATION PROFITING FROM LANDLORD LEANING LAWS IN AZ.

I lived here for a year and ever since AMC took over management in June it has gone down hill. AMC does not keep up with cleaning the pool/ jacuzzi and elevators. They have increased prices for no reason, nothing has been upgraded or changed (i.e parking garage.) Im being charged late fees because they did not keep up with renewal letters back in June and July. Ive had to deal with the leasing office for almost a week trying to get these fees/ leasing agreement straighten out. This place is not worth the money. The only good thing about this complex is the location. Im sure this place will get worse.

This review is long overdue. I was one of the first residents here at the Curve when it opened in 2018 and have loved living here since. The location is great for anyone who wants to be in central Phx, has nice amenities, pet friendly (even for large dogs), and property management/maintenance is attentive and responsive to tenant needs.I recently transferred into a larger floor plan and Giselle made the transition super smooth and was accommodating with my move dates and other requests. She was also the person who helped me move in a few years ago so it is especially nice having tenured staff around who are familiar with the residents.Overall, 5 stars- couldn’t be more happy with my experience living here.

Good luck trying to get your money back from these crooks. They finally mailed me a check after two months to refund me from a deposit I put down to live there. I deposited the check only to find out that they put a stop payment on it which resulted in me being charged $15 by my bank. If I could give zero stars I would.

Me and my wife have been living on the Curve for a little bit more than 2 years and we love it. Management team is great, very professional and always willing to help, especially Giselle, who makes our days at the Curve awesome with her high quality service. THANK YOU GISELLE!!!!Amenities are neat and especially now that it is getting colder the pool has warm water, which is very nice. The building is clean and the location is perfect. Parcel pending lockers are very convenient and we don’t have to worry about any of our packages. Maintenance request are solved in a timely manner and shows how management cares about their tenants (especially Giselle!).We love the Curve!!

Weve lived here for the past 18 months and cannot say enough great things about this community. The grounds are clean and well taken care of, and the management team (shoutout to Gisselle!) is incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Plus, you cannot beat the location or the price. Its a super walkable neighborhood with a lot to explore, which can be hard to find in Phoenix.Sometimes the pool area gets noisy if youre facing in, but that issue is few and far between. Were so thankful for our time here and will miss it when we leave! Weve loved living here!

Residing at The Curve has been nothing but pleasant! The maintenance staff always accommodates any maintenance requests accordingly and within a reasonable amount of time. As for the office, Gisselle is an all star. She is always busy when we stop by but she never misses a beat! She is super attentive to detail and her customer service has always stood out to us. She is truly one of the reasons we decided to rent here to begin with. I think anyone who takes a tour with her would rent, she is great! 5 stars to The Curve!

I just like to take the time out of my day, to say how wonderful and professional Armando is. He answers any questions accordingly and in appropriate manner. I never have to feel unappreciated when Armando is around. He makes all his residents feel welcomed and valued!

We lived at the Curve for over two years and only left because we bought a house. Great location, great amenities. Management (especially Giselle) was very responsive and knew each resident by name. The one time we had a maintenance issue, it was handled that day. Would recommended to anyone looking to rent in the midtown Phoenix area!!

Really disappointed in the overall cleanliness of this complex. The common areas (hallways, gym, elevators) never seem to be cleaned well, if at all, especially the carpeting throughout the complex. There are dark stains, everywhere. The gym never has sanitizing wipes stocked and to top it all off, the sanitizing stations in both elevators fell off and their best solution was to slap blue tape on them to hold them up. Cleanliness and quality should be top priority.

I left a review not too long ago but felt the need to leave another just with my experience over the past few months during this crazy pandemic. The staff at The Curve have been more than accommodating throughout this tough time and they have been so pleasant through all of the uncertainty and stressful months. I couldnt be more appreciative of the staff and how amazing they have been. I have remained so impressed by the upkeep of the property and have had zero issues during my time here!

I’ve been living here for about a year and a half and have never had any issues with my apartment, the staff or anything else. Giselle in the leasing office is extremely helpful and the leasing office staff in general is always very responsive. Apartments are clean, spacious and updated and well worth the money. Not to mention the location is great.

My wife and I had a great experience applying for our new apartment at The Curve.Gisselle was a phenomenal help and assisted us with any questions we had, and helped us apply/get accepted within a few days. The process was very simple and we even changed our minds on the floor plans mid-way through our application, which wasn’t an issue.We are excited to move in, come May, and can’t say enough great things about their service thus far. The staff is nice but not organized and unprofessional. I was at the pool and other residents sparked up the conversation about how unorganized and unresponsive the team was, I thought it was just me. The process to initiate and end the lease is difficult and fustrating. I recall calling multiple times to get my lease in order and they would take days to respond. I was also not notified of the amount and number of fees (which increased my rent by almost 200 dollars).I moved out I was hit with charges and was notified by email after I tried to call for two days straight to see if there was anything else I needed to do to move out. The email originally said all I need to do is send a lease to get my funds back then later said they made yet another mistake and provided me with the incorrect information and more fees. I have never had such an issue with leasing an apartment. Leasing with the curve has put a horrible taste in my mouth about the PB bell leasing company and I will make sure not to lease with the company in the future since this is how they do Bussiness.(in response to their comment)I was not notified of these clearly denoted fees when moving in until they day I signed my lease, they were not presented the entire week I was in communication with the office about moving in.

A good place to live. Thanks to Giselle for tending to my needs since day one. Actually before I moved in she made sure to communicate with me and get things done. Everyone is friendly. I have had countless of conversations in the elevators or simply walking down the hall!! Thanks to every single person on the staff for maintaining this place we call home! It doesn’t go unnoticed.

I have been living here since October of last year. Gisselle at the leasing office is wonderful and professionally handles my issues if any.The one bed one bath is luxurious and I haven’t yet heard any noises from neighbors except may be once or twice a dog barking which isn’t an issue for me anyway. Mine is the street facing apartment but not the pool facing and the buzz of nearby restaurants on Friday evenings and weekends adds fun to my stay here.

We had a wonderful resident experience at The Curve. Gisselle is an asset to the property and we hope they recognize her. She helped us with move in and move out and anything we needed along the way. The property is well kept and the apartments are great. We loved it and only moved due to a job relocation - otherwise we would have continued on in this wonderful place. If you’re shopping around you won’t regret living here.

I have been living here for over 9 months! The staff is great and very attentive. I have not had no problems so far. Every time I have a question or need help Giselle is the one to help me. My husband and I lived at the Curve for a year and it was great. The amenities are wonderful, (Pool, Spa, Grill, Game Room) the apartments are beautiful and the neighborhood is nice. The management team is excellent, especially Gisselle, who is always on top of any request or inquiry. I will miss the place and I will recommend anyone to live there.

We have lived here for a little over 2 months, and we just love it. Gisselle in the office has given us such superior service. Our 5th floor apt has such a magnificent view. We love it! I know I already said that lol.

Quality staff ... fun place to be. Disappointed they did not share in the expense of lost amenities due to COVID. Paid full amenity cost even though they were not available for long periods of time.

Ive lived here for almost 2 years now, and the management team handles everything within a few days of notice, if its an emergency, theyll be out in 1 hour max. Giselle was my first introduction to this complex when I originally toured, and has become such a friend over the years now since living here. I personally hardly notice noises and I live right next to the elevator. Sure, theres a bump here and there, but its a community and we cant expect everyone to be perfect 100% of the time.The insulation is amazing, my electric is always super cheap, and I honestly never hear anything from the pool area.

My son is looking for his first apartment and when I called, spoke with Giselle Lugo who was super sweet and a pleasure to deal with. She went over all of the amenities and was very knowledgeable. I hope my son picks this location. As a mom having to deal with her child leaving home for the first time, she made me feel safe and comfortable and took the time to listen to my concerns. I don’t normally write reviews but the customer service by Giselle was so refreshing and rare these days! I would highly recommend asking for her if you’re considering this awesome property!!

Wonderful staff and a beautiful community to live at! The pool hours have changed so there isn’t as much noise past 10pm, and I hear they’re adding bike storage areas! As a resident I enjoy the vallet trash and package lockers.. not to mention the pool! Great place to live and very central to everything. Many good restaurants, bars and shops nearby in the Melrose District!

We have had a great experience with the Curve. One thing I would recommend, if you are looking to move, or a current resident speak with Gisselle, you can genuinely tell that she cares. I hope PB Bell, and the manager recognize how much Gisselle holds down the property, and truly cares.

I have really loved living here and Liz, Giselle and Lea have been so amazing and nice with all communication and any issues I’ve had. Living on the 2nd floor, I have not had any bad experience with noise or anything like what I’ve read in other reviews. I actually would consider the apartment as fairly quiet as well. The property has remained so well kept in the time I’ve been here which is over a year. I plan on being a resident here for a while! Can’t beat the location, service and overall experience!

Have addressed all of my needs and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Liz has always been especially helpful. They even checked on my cats on occasion when out of town! So grateful.

To even give a brand new built apartment a bad review really says something about the experience I have had to begin with. The insulation is HORRIBLE! I have neighbors who constantly bang above me and nothing has been done to address this! My neighbors are aware and do not care and even expressed such! The management has not expressed after any concern in except to advise me to move after my neighbor personally came to my door and harassed me because I complained about the excessive noise. They have security on site but the neighbors ignored the security when I filed a noise complaint and nothing was done! I pay a few dollars short of $1300 a month for a one bedroom and I’ve become miserable. The only reason I have not left is because the location to my job and how inconvenient it would be to move after only being here 4 months! I was really hoping this place would be better since it is new and management seemed nice in the beginning but to be paying so much it’s not worth it. Also coming from working in property management in a similar property we never treated our residents this way! Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else too many nice places in the area that are being built that you could choose from! Especially ones where you may not have these issues! There’s so much more to this experience but I’m sure this says enough!

The Curve @ Melrose is a fantastic place to live. The studio unit is quite spacious and the amenities (pool, community lounge, workout facilities) are top notch. I have had zero issues since being here. Id specifically want to call out the management team at the Curve who are extremely responsive and knowledgeable for any issues. Especially Giselle, who was instrumental and very flexible in terms of helping me navigate the complexities of my sub lease. I have had nothing but a great experience at the Curve. Great place to live. Def recommend.

I dont really write reviews, however this time I decided to share my experience. I moved to Phoenix from California, 1 day before starting my new job and was looking for right apartment to move in right away. I visited over 12 apartments on same day of my arrival to Phoenix for the first time, spoke to over 50 apartment complexes over the phone. One of them was The Curve, I walked in without an appointment, and there I met employee named Giselle. I told her what I was looking for and said that I need to move in right away. Not only that she had every answer to my questions but she also had few different apartment options for me. She showed me around the apartment complex and all of the available units they had. I was amazed with knowledge that Gisselle has for her apartment complex. I left to think everything over the night as I visited so many places. Next day my mind was set on The Curve. After work I went to sign the contact, where I met employee named Liz (as it was Giselles day off) and she did exceptional job assisting me and made the process smooth and easy. Any questions and concerns I had Liz was able to help me with it. If you are looking for an apartment complex, look no further, The Curve is awesome place! Very clean and beautiful looking place with a lot of amenities that available 24hrs! And for great customer service make sure to Ask for LIZ or GISELLE, those 2 know what they are doing!!!

If you like to sleep, don’t live here. The people at the leasing office are nice enough but noise complaints have never been taken seriously. The issue has been raised with management multiple times throughout the duration of my lease about the noise in the pool area. Their solution has been to transfer to a unit that is on the 5th floor rather than on the 2nd floor next to the pool (and I did and they charged me a transfer fee and my rent increased). Even then, the issue continued. People have access to the pool 24 hours and can play loud music anytime. There’s mention of quiet hours in the lease but management refuses to enforce them. The second to last time I brought up this issue, they said I could look at transferring yet again to a unit that faces the street instead. We will see what they say this time around now that residents are screaming at each other enforcing their own community rules. It is 4:30am and since I can’t sleep, I figured I’d write this review. Sleep deprivation is a real thing— turn the other way and live elsewhere if you value your ability to have a full night of sleep in the comfort of your bed.

Giselle and Liz at the Curve are amazing with their costumer service. There’s always about a million people wanting a tour, and I don’t know how but they manage to be so attentive to everyone one of them. The amenities are so clean and the flow of the rooms are incomparable. The security features are also what sold me. I went looking at 12+ apartment complexes but I knew this had to be the one.

Gisselle, Leah, and Liz are super professional, have been very accommodating, and have been a great help to me. The curve is perfect for young professionals, its quiet and comfortable. I would def recommend this place!

This is a great place to live. We walked in, were approved and moved in same day. Liz is amazing and their customer service is authentic and amazing. We have had no issues with noise which was a concern because we are near the pool and the property is kept clean and immaculate. Its beautiful, has the best gym Ive ever seen and its simply a great place to live!!

Prospective renter here: Called four times during business hours to ask about the property and NO ONE EVER ANSWERED. The leasing agency is filled with friendly and unhelpful people.

3AM and it’s another spa party spectacular, be prepared to be woke up every weekend. You can hear the noise from closed windows and doors ... Management does nothing. There is loud disrespectful people here.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT move here. When we picked our apartment unit on the 4th floor, East side of the building, the staff accidentally “forgot” to mention that there is an establishment called Stacy’s right outside our window. When we first toured our unit, we did notice there was this restaurant type of building right outside of our window, but oh did we have a surprise that same night when the quiet looking place outside our window turned into a loud and obnoxious bar. I’m in my late 20s and I definitely like to party, but they play loud music every night, every week, with a bonus of parking lot festivals every once in a while. When we looked at the Curve at Melrose’s site, they have a map of their nightlife nearby, in which Stacy’s is not listed. When we approached the property manager about it, she said “that’s weird, nobody on that side of the building has complained about the loud music”. But the problem is that they do hear it because I have talked to my neighbors and they have agreed that the noise is overly loud, but they just aren’t willing to complain because they know they are stuck with a 12-13 month lease and all their stuff is already moved in. So I decided to bring it up to PB Bell, which is the company that owns the property. I wrote them several emails, most of them being sent late at night on a work night while I could not sleep due to the loud noise. After over a month, a manager called me back and offered to move us to a different unit on the opposite side of the building, but we would have to pay $200 and accept the new, higher prices of the unit, which I turned down, because I should have been told that there was going to be loud music and people screaming out my window in my first place. They way they see it is, we know you got an apartment with us, you don’t like the noise?now you must spend some money with us and a fee of $200 on top to have not just a nice place but a nice, quiet place. I like to consider myself a flexible and understanding person who rarely chooses to complain about something, but I don’t believe they are in the business of being clear and sincere with their future residents.

Fake Reviews?I use Google reviews all the time along with other sources. I ran across a bad review else where and decided to check google. This place has a high amount of 5 stars compared to the number of bad reviews in particular to the noise complaints. Especially it concerns me how the 5 star reviews are too perfectly written. My experience says something smells funny. Granted I never been here but as with Amazon if its too good than it probably isnt. Just saying. Having several complaints about noise is a no deal with me especially for price and new.

Lived here from 7/2018-9/2019. Other than the things listed below, the curve is in a great location and was relatively affordable for all the amenities they provide.- 2nd floor Balconies are poorly designed. I paid for one of the most expensive units on the northwest corner of the building that features a balcony that is poorly designed and feels like an afterthought yet convenient way to justify charging more for the space. You have to spend a lot of money (more than $1k) or be very creative to provide enough shelter, in order to actually be able to use the space. Between the sun and the wind, that balcony destroyed close to $1k worth of patio furnishings and plants.- Ruined packages. You can receive your packages thru a service called ParcelPending but it is located in a part of the complex that gets hit with the afternoon sun and will literally bake your stuff in the summer time.- Culture misdirected from resident retention by upper management. Liz and Giselle are awesome and super welcoming and if it weren’t for them, I would give less of a star rating. Seems the upper management, could not be any less bothered by the requests or concerns of individual residents. They are quick to raise the rent, withhold re-signing incentives, and when it came time to consider renewing my lease, all I got was a letter stuck in my door warning me about the 3 month notice to vacate or renew.

2nd floor. Can hear constant footsteps, banging, and voices/babies crying from the unit above. This happens every single day multiple times a day. Single elevator on west side has had issues working. Very cheaply made. If you live here, try to get a top floor unit and one that doesn’t face the pool.

A unique apartment community that did justice to the neighborhood by listening to and getting involved with the community. They offer free beach cruiser rentals to residents. They are sponsoring several neighborhood improvement projects including the new park across the street.

This is a new apartment building with many of the units still under construction. Our experience from the very beginning was very inviting and welcoming. We had the pleasure of working with Gisselle as our leasing consultant. She was very professional and friendly. We immediately fell in love with the apartments and honestly it was more because of the service than the actual apartments themselves. We are excited and can’t wait to become residents. Come and check this place out you won’t be disappointed.

Lived here for over a year. Liz was awesome . She is a kinds devoted person who actually care about the resident. My experience at the curve . Was a bit noisey . People yelling in the halls and to the bar next door. . Parking on the weekend was crazy. And even with all the security features this place has I still had a car broken into in the garage. The unit I had was a very nice . Has everything I needed . Felt a bit over price. But like said very nice unit . With the staff had a few issues . So keep your paper work. Upper management has a way of lossing paper work . And the result was me staying an additional 60 days . With a added 300 sum added each month to my rent because we were out of lease terms . Or if I refused . They will report to my credit history as a negative . . So no choice but to pay out and stay . .. so.advise if you move here keep your paper work file and complete.

Great location, but super loud apartments. You would just expect apartments that are this expensive to have better sound insulationAlso, only two dog stations in the complex and they are placed in very inconvenient spots... the grounds are becoming covered in dog poop.You also pay a premium for door trash pick up but I’ve noticed they just throw all the recycling in the trash anyways... kinda annoying to sort your recycling all week just to have it thrown in the trash with everything else. Only thing they throw in the recycling bin is cardboardStaff is great though

I recently stopped by this property for a tour and has high hopes that this was going to be my new home once my lease was up. I definitely left feeling like I wasted my time. I wasn’t given a tour of the entire community and was rushed and brushed aside. I admit I missed my schedule appointment prior so I did walk in, however no one informed me that this was a by appointment type of complex. I was shown two fitness areas and left to kind of walk around the apartment without any features or fixtures pointed out. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. It was the worse touring experience I’ve had since beginning my search and sad part is I LOVED THE ACTUAL UNIT! It was everything I was looking for but the service I received left such an awful taste in my mouth that I can’t even see myself living at The Curve. Good luck to anyone looking to move here and I guess keep those appointments or you will not be treated well.

The staff at Curve has been wonderful. Gisselle has gone above and beyond from the very first moment that I visited the property for a tour and every step of the way after, including even just earlier today! Liz provided wonderful service and a hassle-free experience on move-in day. I cant say enough good things about these two ladies. You can get an apartment anywhere and there are plenty of comparable new builds in the area, but the excellent service is what sold me since Gisselle provided a stellar first impression and Im happy to report that it has remained consistent with everyone on the staff I have come into contact, including Orlando and Salvador on the maintenance team. I absolutely love this apartment complex. About 3 months ago I moved here from Ventura County California, it’s my first time living away from there. A big thank you to Liz Gonzalez, you are the reason I signed the lease. I didn’t know anyone here and she made me feel right at home and welcome. She’s always smiling and it just brightens up my day to see her. Gisselle Lugo is another amazing leasing agent here. She’s always smiling and super positive and I love that. If you are having a bad day just stop by the office at The Curve At Melrose and these ladies will have you laughing in no time. You will probably want to consider getting a place here before you leave the office.The apartments have a nice open floor plan, they come with a washer and dryer and fridge and oven. I am in love with my walk in closet in my bedroom. My kitchen has a built in island, I use it as my dining table, I love that because it saved me money when I was shopping for my furniture.This place is like a resort. There’s a swimming pool, jacuzzi, pool tables, BBQ area and the best thing about it is the courtyard is on the second floor. Yup, the swimming pool is on the second floor. My sister and nephews were here swimming and it worked out perfect because the kids were able to swim and we didn’t have to worry about them getting out of the apartment complex. There’s also a really cool game room/party room on the fifth floor, it includes a balcony that overlooks the pool and courtyard area.Eventually, maybe one day I will use the gym. It’s up to date with state of the art equipment, I’m lazy but if you are into fitness you won’t need a gym membership after you move in.The parking here is gated and assigned. Recently I went to the Kenny Chesney concert. I walked to the Light Rail and took it down to Chase Field to the concert. The Light Rail is free round trip if you have a concert ticket to Chase or Talking Stick Resort Arena. It takes me about 12 minutes to drive to the airport.You absolutely can’t beat the location. It’s centralized to everything in Phoenix.This complex does celebrate diversity for everyone. If I could give 10 stars I would.Good luck on your apartment hunting!

When I first moved here it was pleasant but after new management took over I have seen this place go down hill as everyone else has mentioned cleanliness should be a priority for a apartment complex who loves to throw the word “luxury” around nothing luxurious about that. also there was a fire/water problem and since then there’s a gnat infestation which has not seem to be addressed save yourself the headache and do not move here . ( I believe the gnat infestation is coming from the recent flooding in building due to a fire )
